Theao
Duchess Heidi of Green Sun was caught in an illegal motorcycle race. The report was from an old woman trying to sleep and couldn't from all the noise from the celebrations from Heidi's victory. Duchess Heidi is in the southern Theao City PD, where her grandfather, Former Emperor Earnest Equanant, is trying to pay bail for her to get her out. Prince James Theao, her fiance, and her immediate family have yet to be questioned by reporters.

The fines of Duchess Heidi, because of her present status as a foreign guest under invitation from the goverment has diplomatic immunity have thus been waived.

Prince James has commented on the value of enought sleep and has thus offered the lady, one Debra Willows, full compensation for her troubles.

"I, for one, Heidi, am extremely disappointed in you."
"I'm sorry, Earnest..."
"I mean, illegal street racing and disturbing the peace? I thought you better than that!"
"I tried, I really did!"
"I mean, not even destruction of property? Come on, girl, you're an Equanant! You can cause more trouble than that!"
"I did use a car-hauling transport truck as a jump! It pissed off the driver!"
"That's better. Next time you get caught, make sure you've caused some real havoc and I really have a reason to drive all the way to police station to pick you up."
"I'll make sure to do that, Earnest."
"That's migirl," he said and kissed her on the head. They cruised down the road when Earnest remembered that he had his liscense revoked fourteen years ago. He shrugged as he went back to the correct lane.

Heidi and Earnest were given a escort back to the palace. The cops following, but not to closely. Beside the fact that they both had DI, the police force had been warned of the general oddity of Earnest, and thus were being careful to make sure nothing overly negative happened.

Earnest stopped the car and they got out and walked towards the palace.
"Three...Two...One..." Earnest counted.
"EARNEST!"
The car began to roll down the hill and hit the following police cars. Earnest burst out in laughter.
"Earnest, someone could have been hurt!" Heidi yelled.
"It was still funny!"
Heidi punched him across teh jace, dislocating his jaw. Earnest turned and started to follow the fuming Heidi as his jaw relocated itself.
"Oh, come on, Heidi-"
"It's not funny!"
"And jumping off a car ramp is?"
"The only person who was in danger there was me. I didn't put the lives of otehrs at risk. You need to find a better sense of humor."
"But that was-"
All Earnest got in reply was the middle finger.

Fortunately for all involved, Theao police cars are quite a bit tougher than your average car. Other than a small amount of superfical damage, a broken light, and an irrepairable pair of pants, everything was fine.

Heidi and Earnest ran into Jordan, Andromeda, Raphael and the twins first.
"You must be my brother's delinquant(sp) fiancee. I must say, I approve, the name's Raphael by the way."

Heidi, who didn't appreciate being called a delinquient(SP), took Raph's hand and crunched it as she shook.
"Hello, Raphael, I am your soon-to-be sister-in-law. I see you've met my brotehr and his wife."

"I also meet your cousin, or at least he's your cousin if I have the geneology tables correct, Chong. Depending on what his parents say, he may be getting one of Sasha's kittens." Raphael commented, "You also have a rather strong grip."

"Well, that's what happens when you race motorcycles illegally for five years. And Chong's a sweet boy, isn't he? It'll be good for him to have a pet, he doesn't mix with other children much."

"Would you like to meet Sasha?" Raphael asked, just as James appeared. Rushing to Heidi, he asked, concern evident, "Are you alright?"

Heidi gave an internal sigh of relief.
"Yes, I'm fine, I've been doing this for five years, James. I can keep myself safe on the track."
"Except for the time you did crash," Jordan reminded her.
"That was my THIRD race and the otehr racer was playing dirty. That's the only time I've ever crashed. Don't worry, love, I'm fine."

With the conformation she was alright, he clasped her in a big hug and kiss, "Don't worry me like that, alright?" He asked, "Please schedual the street races in future alright."

"Blame Kevin for that one. He called me and asked if I wanted to show, so Idecided to race. Next time, though, I'll drag you along, how about that?" she asked. Her face was lovely, irresistable.

"I will come." James replied, "Nothing could keep me away."

Jordan chuckled. Heidi would never give up street racing and James would be far too concerned for her safety to let her. Jordan could tell she was using her power from James' face. Empty and distracted. She was an Equanant, after all!

Raphael leaned over an murmered to Jordan, "Heidi doesn't have to use her 'ability', James would let her regardless. He might not like it, he might have his heart in his throat everytime, but he wouldn't stop her."

"It wouldn't work if he tried," Jordan chuckled.

"He wouldn't do it anyways, she loves it and he loves her." Raphael replied

"Love. True love," Jordan said, hugging his wife. They then realize they were still carrying teh twins.
"Better put these two to bet, it's getting late."

"We should leave them to thier ... activities." Raphael commented as he lead Andromeda and Jordan, as well as thier children to thier chambers.

"Yes, thank you."
They followed Raphael to their room and set the babies to sleep.

After the babies had been put to sleep, Raphael asked, "How did you meet each other?"

"The emperor of Risban got married and we met each otehr at the party, she's his cousin."

"Ah, so was it love at first sight?" Raphael asked, a inflection, that may or may not have been there, denoting whistfulness.

"And a damn good political move, but that's hardly the reason we married."

"Ah," Raphael replied, "Political marriages are almost unheard of here."

"They never usually seem to be true marriages, do they, if they're arranged?"

"No they don't." Raphael agreed

"Well, it was nice to finally meet you, Raphael, we're going to bed and get as much sleep as we can before the twins wake up again," Andromeda said.

"Will be seeing you in the morning then." Raphael replied, "It was a pleasure to meet you on my end as well."

"See you tomorrow, then!"
They closed teh door and slept until dawn, when the babies awoke and started to chew on the same stuffed animal.

Raphael headed to the kitchen, made himself a sandwich and once done headed to bed. Sasha was in the room as well, watching as two perticularly rambunctious kittens wrestled.

The next day, Ali and his family came to the Palace with Chong. They agreed to let Chong to have a lion kitten, which he named Timone.

The kitten picked Chong as much as he picked the kitten. It had rubbed up against him, purring.

"I'm sure you and Timone will become good friends." Raphael commented

Chong kept on playing with Timone and Earnest approached them. He spotted the creature and jumped. It startled Timone and he latched on Raphael's leg.

Raphael winced as the claws dug in. Reaching down he tapped the kitten on the nose, causing it to let go. He then picked it up and began stroking Timone.

"Gah! Animal! Get it away!" Earnest shouted, running in the other direction.

"Come back here Earnest." Raphael said, "Animals arn't evil."
Almost in counter-point to his statement, Sasha wandered into Earnest's way.

"Yeah, well, you weren't jabbed in the stomach by a Rhino horn while on a Safari with President Theodore Roosevelt!" he said, backing away from Sasha, "That Rhino ran for a mile just to jab me in the stomach!"

"That was most likely a wild rhino, and did you happen to annoy it for some reason?" Raphael asked as Sasha began walking toward Earnest.

"I was a mile away from the beast!"

"Perhaps you smelled funny, rhinos have excellent noses." Raphael suggested

"It's just an angry creature. Trust me, the thing lives in our front lawn."

"It goes and gores you, and you keep it in the garden?" Raphael asked

Earnest nodded.
"Keep your friends close. Keep your enemies CLOSER!" he shouted as he ran up the wall as Sasha bumped into him. He was able to find a narrow area in the cieling that he could keep himself up in.

"Get down from therer, Sasha wouldn't hurt you." Raphael said as she began licking his hand.

"I know it can't hurt me. I just don't want it to try. And I'm ot coming down until that thing is out of this room!"

"Then you may be up there a while." Raphael replied, "When I'm home, Sasha tends to have the run of the house."
As he was saying this, Sasha curled up in a patch of sunlight and began sleeping.

"I've been in worse predicaments. Like, being attatched to a Rhino horn for three hours before the President can shoot the thing in the leg."

"I don't know, Sasha can sleep quite a long time, and occasionally she takes a interest in tormenting people." As he said that he rubbed his head.

"I keep my worst enemy in my front lawn to mentally torture the creature. Don't worry. I can handle myself."

"If you think you can out-wait a cat in the sun, more power to you." Raphael replied

"Need I remind you again that I went on Safari with Theodore Roosevelt?!"

"Bit beyond my time." Raphael replied

Earnest stares at Sasha suspiciously and repositions himself directly over the lion.

Sasha just yawns before settling down. "Why don't you just come down from the ceiling?"

"Because I think the view up here is nice. I can see most of the palace."
Jordan rested his hand on Raphael's shoulder and shook his head.

"Alright." Raphael replied. He went over and knelt by Sasha. Rubbing her head and speaking to her, he then stood up as Sasha got up and left. "So, what do you think of Timone?" He asked Chong.

"He's certainly playful," he replied as Timone climbed up a table to retrieve a misthrown ball by Chong.

"Kittens usually are." Raphael replied
Once Sasha had left, he looked up at Earnest, "Want to come down now?"

Earnest defiantly shook his head. Timone rushes out of the room as he chased the rubber ball and Chong chases after the kitten. Earnest falls to the ground and then realizes the huge dent in the floor he just made from falling two stories onto wooden floor.
"Um...I can pay for that, honestly."

"That," He pointed to the dent, "You have to take up with James, it's his house."

"I know. He'll get over it, though, I'm about to be his grandfather-in-law."

"I don't know about that, he can really hold a grudge at times." Raphael warned

Earnest looked at him with a smirk.
"I'm about to be his grandfather-in-law. Remember who he's marrying."

"Even with Heidi working her magic, if he puts his mind to a grudge, not much short of mom can change it." Raphael replied

"She got me to stop eating peanut butter, which the best psycyatrist in the world wasn't able to do. You'd be surprised."

"Only time will tell." Raphael replied

"Time is an illusion and is always written by the victor."

"Alright then, only the flow of events, frequently in a linear fashion, subject to the laws of increased entropy, will tell." Raphael replied

"That'll work. Mostly."

"So, what other things do you avoid, like animals?" Raphael asked

"Plants. Fungi. Andimantium. Germans. You know. The usual."

"Plants?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, "And what's wrong with Germans?"

"I was in World War Two."

"Just because you were in World War Two, doesn't explain why you still hate Germans." Raphael replied

"I didn't say I hate them, I said I avoided them."

"Ah." Raphael replied, "What about your aversion to plants, didn't like broccoli?"

"Well, I eat plants because I know I'm causing the death of them."

"So why don't you like plants?" Raphael asked

"I was a lumberjack for a few years."

"Did a tree go and get uppity by falling on you?" Raphael asked

"You wanna see the scars?"

"I think I'll pass." Raphael replied

"Good, because I don't have any. HAH!" Earnest said as he gave a heartily laugh.

"You really are a wack-job, I like you." Raphael said

"I get that a lot," Earnest laughed.

"So what are some of your favorite activities?" Raphael asked

"I invent things. My latest invention is the Vulcan flamethrower. Wanna see it? It's in my suitcase."

"Why not just tell me what it does." Raphael commented

"It creates fire. Very powerful fire, using my invention called White Napalm. It lasts a long time, sticks to surfaces, and burns really, really hot."

"So beside inventing what do you do?" Raphael asked

"Let's see...I usually go to otehr nations and piss people off, get arrested and slip away. I go to a random city in Green Sun, piss people off, get arrested, and slip away. I also play Polo."

"So a general trouble maker and polo player?" Raphael asked, "You remind me of me a bit."

Earnest became wide-eyed and took a step away from Raphael.
"Okay. I'm just...Going to stand over here now..."

Raphael laughted at Earnest's comment.

Earnest took another step away from Raphael and tripped in the ditch he had made.

"Of course, my mischief is more of the father's worst nightmare type." Raphael said with a grin.

"If I wanted to start a nuclear war, I could. Probably why Lord Zorag let me in...Wait...I shouldn't have said that...You heard nothing."

"Lord Zorag?" Raphael asked

"Someone important from Risban. Forget I said anything."

"We'll see." Raphael replied

"Not from my right eye, I can tell you that much," Earnest said as he pointed to his eyepatch.

"You really are odd." Raphael replied, "So what do you want to do?"

"I'm going to go set something on fire," Earnest replied as he walked to his room.

"Go outside to indulge you're pyromantic urges." Raphael said

Earnest garbs his suitcase and orders his limo driver to bring him to the nearest Theao military base for a demonstration of the Vulcan flamethrower.

"Sir, the nearest military base is outside driving range." The driver replied

"Then take the damn limo off-road!"

"Beside the fact that the limo isn't designed for off-road travel, and would get stuck, it wouldn't shorten the distance." The driver replied

"Then I'll walk," Earnest replied, opening the door and began to walk.

"Alright, it's three hundred kilometers in that direction, thought you could take a helicopter there." The driver said

"I'M WALKING!" Earnest shouted back.

The driver shook his head.
Earnest would find the road was moderately busy.

Earnest shrugged and walked alongside the road, jumping on the rooves of cars when he got the opportunity and within the next day found himself fifty miles from the base.
"Woot," he said to himself when he saw the sign.

The terrain had changed, becoming more rocky and semi-mountainous.

Earnest began to run as he approached the mountains. After the third, he found a man standing in a valley smoking a cigarette. He yoddled to him. The man yoddled back. Earnest ran down the mountaina nd slowed as he saw the man.

"You have silver hair," he shouted to him.

"As do you," the man replied, taking a puff.

"Is it natural?"

"There's not a part of me that's natural. But if you're talking about genetics, yes."

"What's your name?"

"Thomas."

"That was my brother's name."

"Get over here so I can see your face."

"Fair enough."

Earnest got closer to the man and saw the amn. He wasn't past his thirties, silver hair, and slightly transparent.

"Thomas?"

"Hello, Earnest."

"What-You're dead!"

"My death date was never recorded, brother. But yes, my body is dead."

"You mean-"

"I could astralproject."

"Holy shit."

"Yup. Seen it."

"So what are you doing here in the land of the living?"

"I've come to talk to you, Earnest. Why you're still alive."

"I got dad's power. I live a really long time and can't get hurt."

"Actually, by genetics, only invulnerable to conventional attack."

"Huh?"

"Sit. I've got a lot to talk to you about."

"Hey, Raphael, have you seen Earnest?" Muhammad asked Raphael after practicing with his brothers.

"He wanted to show-off one of his inventions, so I told him to do so outside. Since I'm pretty sure he hasn't done anything yet, you could talk to the drivers." Raphael replied

"I'm sure he'll be fine, Earnest has a habit of being found in a sewer underneath the palace."

"That, I severly doubt." Raphael replied, "The pipes are too narrow for a person of Earnest's size and build."

"Well, we'll find him in a sewer somewhere, or he'll be picked up by a manical hitchhiker who killed the owner of the car and Easrnest will drive up with two bodies in the back of the car."

"More likely in a ditch then, as there are very few homicidal maniacs." Raphael commented
