Centuries of War's have passed, The last Government was inactive, ineffective and silent to the needs of the people. The Empire was quite, time for a revolution was at hand. The Royal Family of Hiiraan eyeing the opportunity to regain their former lands and their former status as the only power in the Africanus Empire took the opportunity. With large parts of the Military still loyal to the crown they were sure to succeed in their efforts.
"I shall proclaim myself Emperor" thought the leading figure of the non-government coup. he was General Samantar Abdirisaq, who also had the crown of his country. General Samantar Joined the military when he was 15 years old, as a young prince, he was not expected to ever replace the crown, however that changed when his older brother died and he was next in line. at the height of his Military career, Prince Samantar Abdirisaq was named General of the Army and became a leading figure who secured the military reign of his past government. On June 7th 1996 Prince was declared King Samantar Abdirisaq when his late father, king Abdirisaq Bare died naturally.
General Samantar, seen as the leading figure to take the Nation by his hand stood on the second floor of the Crown Palace to give some 1000s of loyal citizens his declaration:
"Today, we stand together to fight for freedom, We stand together to fight for our national right, for our future and much more. As Leader of our great nation, I will lead you through the right path. We will give this warning once and once alone, All Opposition forces Shall lay down their arms, surrender and we will show mercy, otherwise you will request this Empires full wrath."
