Early this Morning, scores of Helghan troops marched across the Chimairan border, these forces were met with little or no resistance, as checkpoints and settlements were overrun. By noon the Helghan army had gained a foothold to the West of Chimaira, with reinforcments en route.
so far there are no official reports of any casualties on both sides or civilian deaths.
Chimairan troops are rallying at the key city of Tartarus 3 and are currently awaiting orders.
The President of Chimaira has issued a statement for their ally Demetris, to provide aid and to arm there military forces.
No official reasoning behind the occupation has surfaced, but after the destruction of the UN convoy passing across the border, there had been much tension between the three nations. Hate slogans daubed across some buildings, aimed against the religious sects of Chimaira have also been reported....more news will follow

it was coincidence that Ryu were at this place at this time.. he was tsting a new prototype of stealth suit for the STF whe nhe saw the troops moving on.. he wondered what it was about... so far away... he couldnt say if he should stay hidden or just ask the leader what was going on... then he heard it... gun shots.. he decided to stay cool, calm and collected ven if he just got a beretta 92 fs. with 3 mags... well he couldnt fight, but stay low and observate what happened... the wind was waving through his hair, bringing cold air from the hills... the next hours would be everthing else than boring...

The Armed Empire demands to know for what reason the Helghan Empire has invaded the tiny nation of Chimaira,who has apparently done nothing to the Helghan Empire. If we do not receive a reply within 2 days, the Armed Empire will deploy 500 Space Marines to asess the situation.

FYI: You can't RP what another nation does. How do you know that Chimaira doesn't have, for example, all of it's troops right where you crossed the border? And how do you know that you would encounter "little or no resistance"?

moments later, Chimairan troops left Tartarus 3, a mixed armor detachment and recon units have formed a spearhead, towards the town of Bellia. although reported orders are that the town is to be preserved at all costs... Word from our Allies Demetris is yet to be heard, but a statement is likely to be released soon....

Following the recent actions from Helghastnam, the Nation of The Chimaira has sent out a distress call to our beloved Emperor. It is believed that he will address the people at 8pm. However nobody is sure is what our Leader's position will be. There are mixed feelings flooding our beloved lands, discussing whether or not to help their long term allies Chimaria or to leave it to them to fight the theirown civil war. We got an interview with Grand Inquisitor Darthomos incharge of our imperial forces.

"The Imperial Infrantry is prepared to fight when called for. When and if our gracious God decides to assist our Allies or not we will be ready."

"And what about those people that disagree with getting involved in a civil war?"

"If the Emperor decides to go to war then we shall follow. All those or oppose his decision will be classed as heretics and treated as such. They shall be detained and immediatly executed. Thus is the law and shall remain. For the Emperor"

"Thank you for your time."

So the real question is, is the Imperium ready to go to war so soon after the recreation of its glorious army. Or does it need more time to rince out the cobwebs. Only the Emperor shall decide.

CDF (Chimairan Defence Force) troops have come begun fierce resistance throughout Bellia, unofficial reports have broke out of heavy casualties with mere hours of fighting, Helghan troops reel back from the suprise attacks, and street to street fighting is likely to be evident for the coming days, maybe weeks. The Helghan High Command is not put off by this onslaught and it looks as tho Bellia will become hot battlezone for the duration of the war....

There is a large crowd gathered outside the tower palace of the Emperor. Around the gates are the Emperiors personal guard and huge screens so that he can be seen by all. A lone slim man stands of the balcony with his arms in the air.

"Ladies and gentlemen, pray silence for your god and protector. Emperor Demetris!!"

A large man steps forward in heavy clothing and mechnical implants showing out from his head. His long black cloak waves fiercly in the wind and he stands tall with his sword gently laying next to his side.

"My people I have saw you through Chaos, i pointed you towards the light when there was only darkness. I guided you through the fog and through fear. Now i ask for your loyality, now i ask for your sweat, blood and tears my people. I ask you to stand with me!"

The crowd roar "For the Emperor."

"Our Allies, our Brothers of Chimaira have been cowardly attacked by a rivil state. We cannot let one of our brothers down. We will stand tall together and overcome any obsticle in our path. So hence forth our Holy Imperial Army shall assist our Allies in this time of need. We shall march to free our brothers from this evil that comsumes them and we will purge it from the planet. Today the name Demetris shall be a name to be feared by the people of Helghastnam. Today we purge the heretics from this planet. TODAY WE FIGHT!!"

The Emperor calmly leaves the balcony.
The crowd roars into a frenzy, with the police forces struggling to maintain order. They are all shouting "For the Emperor!!"

Dawn breaks as CDF troops huddle in the basement of a hardware store. their Captain confides with the men confidently "Help will arrive" he announces, within that moment the corporal fiddles with an age old tv set, it switches from static to a view of a large excited crowd, they chant together in a low monotonous tone, military might is displayed in the backdrop.
"FOR THE EMPEROR"
A mighty crash and roar as the roof collapses on the ragged troops, the sound of artillery and shells deafens those within, survivors stumble out of the rubble, choking on dust and smoke, a vicious hail of bullets guns down the survivors, the wounded are given harsh treatment and a gunshot to the head....The Helghast troops move on through the city, leaving fire and flame in thier wake....

OoC: I didn't completely read what happened in this thread but if anyone is still in here, clear off! It's an RP between friends. I know how you guys feel @ Helghast & co, I tried to have an RP with a few school friends when I first started and all these sad acts came in and went "Lets watch the n00b war" and other stuck up crap. It's seriously annoying when that happens and the fact that people say "OMFG! YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" when you've already pre-arranged it with friends must get a little tedious.

The Helghan commander of echo three clambered from the command view atop his MKIIV APC and dropped to the ground, he stopped, then slowly reached down towards the bloody shape lying beside him, he grabbed the unfortunate CDF trooper, unsheathed his blade and brought it down in a vicious arc.

a dusty image of Chimairan forces, as they force there way into Bellia, they appear to have been ambushed, now the convoy is broken, troops are huddled behind burning tanks and vehicles. bodies sprawled along the open road. a rocket explodes amongst a fox hole of wounded soldiers. the camera shakes, swearing can be herad from the man tightly gripping the camera. another figure comes into view, it is a reporter, he tries to straiten himself up, but also careful to remain in cover...
"You join us live as the famous "Crazyfists" armored company is ambushed by the cowardly Helghan troops"
Another shell explodes nearby, the reporter, nervously carries on..
"It is a fearsome fight now...we...we appear to have stopped not short from the Bellia airfield, which is a key objective for our brave soldiers!"

The camera man spins round, to see nearby troops in a foxhole preparing a shoulder mounted launcher

The camera man shouts towards the platoon sargeant, within a moment the whole platoon provides covering fire for the reporters. They run out, in a low bounding movement, just as it appears as though they might make it, a spray of heavy machine gun fire bursts through the reporters body, he stumbles, then another burst cuts him in half. the cameraman dives to the floor, the camera seeming to roll out of his hands. static for a few seconds. then the image appears of the camera man, his face a bloody mess, gore splattered across the lense....then silence...

"General, so far we have been successful in occupying the entire Northern Border of Chimaira and we have a strong foothold in the West.
Our forces so far are battling through the Ordannes forest, and the Spine Mountain ranges. The CDF have so far been quelled in their attempts to disrupt our forces, but they are still a thorn in our side. The CAA (Chimairan Alliance Army) are mobilising but our intelligence spies indicate that there forces are still unprepared.
Unfortunatly, your grace, It appears that The Chimairan 36th armored division have broken through our lines, they have gained control of the Eagles Head Airfield and are continuing their advance.
As CO in that sector, it is my duty to claim skulls for The Throne in order to spare me of my humiliation, I have also willingly given my life for Helghan, so that it may rise to be a greater nation. My soldiers claim their lives in your name, The Chimairan scum will soon regret their arrogance. FOR THE THRONE!"

This letter was found by the Chimairan 36th as they consolidated their position along Bellias outskirts. Bodies of decapitated Helghan troops lay around it.

Gunshots... multiple gunshots.... Ryu sat down for a moment to relax... so far away from home.. and now this... he ran into a war... He still didnt know who was what fighting for... he just could do one thing... wait.. and hope that he would survive the next days, mybe weaks until his codec will have sended his message to the HQ of the STF in Damlos... then they would come and get him outta here... AGAIN... gunshots... nearby... nearer than before.. he looked around as good as his eyes allowed to in his terrible darkness... he could see anything.. ... THERE! there was amn running through the bushes... did he had a rifle in his hands? yes, but he left it behind... he ran... Ryu had never seen a man running so fast before... who was this? suddenly he disappeard... Ryu looked around, hasty and nervous... where could he be..? Gunshots, other gunshots, loud and clear, they were really near.. again nearer than before... DAMN...

The first post in this thread is godmoding. You cant have your troops enter the borders of another nation without letting the enemy try to stop you.

Todays top story. Demetris troops have entered Chimaira, in response to a recent call for aid from our Allies. A small minority of our beloved Country has criticised the slowness of mobiling our glorious army. They were quickly delt with and shot.

We have a reporter with our troops who are as we speak marching though the desert. We go live with Derek Jackson. We apologise for the poorness of the quality.

"Well studio we are have been currently marching through the desert for five hours now, and the troops have shown no sign of fatigue. This is truely an amazing sight. We currently believe thatthe Imperial Infrantry will camp just outside the main battlezone of Bellia. Then after a rest the troops will be sent in to assist the already warn down Chimairan troops. Back to you."

Scolar Visari is scarred after accidently intercepting his ally's (Helghastnam) radio frequency. He heard the terror going on for a Helghast Seargent, and now he wants bring his nation into war for the first time and protect the Helghast race.
He will respond to these Chimairans with brute force.

War has come to Helghan.

Helmawr arose from his ornate throne. "What?" he asked, distastefully.

The Helghast Fleet has entered the battlefield via Attack Ships from the air. Multiple Dropships deployed Helghast troops into urban area where Helghastnam troops raged in a fight against Chimairan troops. The troops were deployed quickly while the Dropships provide cover fire for Helghast and Helghastnam troops.

Quick Bump!

Bellia. The once industrial driven town now lies in ruin. great columns of smoke rise from the horizen, fires, blossoming, uncontrolled from building to building.
The rich suburbs are now just a shadow of their former glory, not one of these expensive and ornate houses lay intact. unrecognisable bodies, in different stages of deacy, choke the streets, cars, buses and trucks mix with the wreckage of tanks and other armored vehicles.
In the slums, the fighting rages at its fiercest, Chimairan defence forces
battle on through the rubble strewn streets.
1st Sargeant Flynn leapt over the wreck of the car, his squad following.
A force of Helghan troops and their Allies had dropped down from their transports a few blocks away and it was their job to intercept them.
As they sprinted to the cover of a foxhole, sporadic gunfire burst amongst them, felling a few troopers, screams echoing down the street. Flynn and half of his remaining platoon reached the cover and dug in, the Helghan were only at the other end of the street, he gave the ordeer to fix bayonets.....

Helghast forces fight bravely as Chimairan forces continue to advance across fox holes in slums. But are becoming outnumbered everytime the enemy forces liberate slum by slum.

"We need armoured support! We need it as quickly as possible! Yes, and we need them at the slums now! We are heavily outnumbered by enemy forces! Okay, send the nearest one soon!" Seargent Rikon demanded through a comlink in his breath mask.

Flynn grabbed the broken body of Robsson, he hauled him into the crater and signalled for a medic. They had advanced upto a small square, surrounded by buildings, or what was left of them. But one building was particularly important, the Helghans were occupying it and that enough filled Flynn with rage.
The platoon looked across the square at the structure, acrid smoke filled the air and burned his throat, the mere presence of the enemy driving him to insane rage. suddenly, an explosion rocked the building. then tracer rounds gutted the structure. the gunship roared over head, countinuing to pour firepower into the helghan troops.
Flynn gave out a cry, a mix of anger and relief. he picked himself up and charged into the Breach.....

With the valiant advancement of the CDF, and still no armored support, the Helghast troops had no choice but to retreat. Helghasts never retrest, but if they do, they are always reprimanded, and are the retreating Helghasts are going to be the ones, and a couple fresh soldiers, need to take down the CDF's liberation of the slums.
They retreated best they could, but CDF Gunships took many squads down. Only few troops could evade and escape the gunship.
This is not a good day for The Helghan Empire as this is their first defeat.

The Helghans were falling back through the streets, at this point it was still an orderly retreat, but if the gunships werent stopped soon, then it would become a rout. Captaion Oktar led his formation through the rubble, sporadic fire covering their movement. the world around him suddenly exploded, bullets cut up the ground around him, and rockets impacted amongst his troops, brother sargeant Karl was shredded by high velocity rounds. he gathered his squad in the ruins of a nearby house, barely a quarter of his men remained. then he remembered, Order H459, yes, that would silence these Chimairan dogs, the sacrificing of his life and those of his troops mattered not, only the complete annhilation of the enemy was his concern...

Seargent Rikon and his retreating forces made it to a Helghast [captured] citadel outside of Bellia. He found soldiers patrolling the perimeter and they let them freely through.
He seeked an audience with the commander of this battalion. He was told that he was killed by Chimairan machine gun fire.
"Who is in charge right now?" He said to the soldier.
"Corporal Rim, sir. But he's busy with other citadel commanders to find ways to provide rations of provisions to each other. I don't know how long it could be."
"Then can you answer me this?"
"What?" He said.
Rikkon asked, "I know that you were supposed to provide armor support for us in the slums because we were heavily outnumbered."
"Okay."
"Can you tell me why it didn't get to us."
"We did send a convoy to you, it went around to ambush the CDFs from behind but it we found out it was brought down by a large regiment of heavy assault troops..."

As dawn breaks eight blackhawk choppers fly into the ruined city of Bellia. The soldiers inside nervously tap their triggers and read books, while they wait for the moment to drop. The closer they get the faster the troopers heart beats.

"Ok grunts listen up. We have been ordered to take control of this amrket square so we can get a foothold into the city. BlackHawks 1-3 will be landing ontop of a number of buildings and clearing them. 4-8 will be on the streets clearing out civilians and enemy troops. Remember, anything could be hostile so shoot first ask questions later. We clear?"

The troops cheer.

"Good, a convo of armoured support should come soon and may the Emperor be with us."

The Hawks close in on the location and some spradic gunfire is fired towards the choppers. They finally reach their destination and begin to drop the troops.

A band of Helghast Light Soldiers, posing as recon for the citadel outside of Bellia, see the Black Hawks deploying troops. They dive for cover under some rubble and keep eyeing the deployed troops.
"Call Command, and tell them what is happening." One Light Soldier said to another.
He nodded, and spoke into his comlink:"Command do you read me? Over!"
"This is Command, please identify yourself! Over!" Someone replied.
"This is the squad on recon you sent out! Over"
"Is everything okay? Over!"
"We spied that Demetrian troops are being deployed by Black-Hawks into Bellia! What actions do we take? Over!"
"Keep your eye on the city until the Black-Hawks leave. Then head back to Command and repost to me! Out!"
"Affirmative! Out!"
The soldier told his comrades what they were ordered to do...

Flynn was resting his wounds in the shell of a burnt out car when the first shells hit. The Helghan bombarment caught them off guard, ground troops ran from cover to cover, some diving for foxholes or shelter, whilst others werent so fortunate, there blasted remains scattered across the street.
Flynn clawed himself deeper into the wreck, he was teetering on the brink of insanity, the horrors of war that he had seen were beyond any normal mans visions. he had fought vicious firefights, murdered men with his bare hands, and had even killed Helghan troops who were wounded and unarmed. Now he was having the crap kicked out of him by over a hundred shells.
Then it ceased, but the defaning roar of the artillery was replced by a low rumbling. Flynn looked round, pains from his many injuries shot thtough his body. troops arund him readied weapons, the rumbling noise transforming to a growl of revving engines, with that, the wall of a nearby house disintergrated, and the debris covered hull of an CAA MK5 "Conquerer" class heavy tank, the emblem of the 36th Crazyfists stood proud, a dozen or so more of these armoured behemoths bulldozed down the street, distant gunfire and explosions echoing around.....The attack was underway....

Helghast troops in the nearby citadel of Bellia have gotten the information from the Light Soldiers. And are currently in plan of a way to take the city from Chimairan and Demetrian forces. They know that they have lots of armor support, so Helghast forces are going to mobilize their armor into the city. They will gather their three versions of an APC, Heavy Tanks, and will mobilize an air assault against Bellia with their Jet Bikes. Also, Helghast forces will be traveling by foot and others will be traveling by Dropships. "This will be on the largest armored battles throughout the entire war", as the oganizer of this battle said.

Helghan Amored Divisions are reinforcing the current frontlines, in a bid to counter the growing threat of the combined CAA, CDF and Demetris forces.
The Helghan 88th Armoured division "The Tyrants" are crossing the border, they will be in Bellia in a matter of hours....

CHimairan forces have begun operations in the Mountain regions, in a bid to gain key strategic positions. A mixture of troops and air support will be combined to ensure that the mountain valleys and passes are captured swiftly.

The voice was soft and timid, Helmawr rose from his slumber, it was very late. too late for military matters.
"Very well" he replied, he dragged himself up, his towering form silhoueted against the huge stain glass window.
In the huge halls, he stood proud. his great coat added to his already huge bulk.
"My countrymen, the war continues, much blood is spilled, many lives lost, but we must know that it is all in the name of Helghan! you are gathered here in my presence because you are the finest men, the best of the best. together we will crush the Chimairan filth to the dirt, together we will reap skulls for His glory, Together, we Fight For HELGHAN!

The fleet of Helghast troops, marching into Bellia, are mobilizing quickly. Their goal is to capture Bellia within 72 hours. If the fleet doesn't meet this goal, Helghast forces, in the area, are forced to retreat to the mountains where Helghast and Helghastnam forces already control.

The fleet marches quickly. Many troops wield Helghast Rocket Launchers and StA-3 Stova SAW Light Machine Guns because of the massive armored battle that will be taking place. Helghast Jet Bikes and Dropships are hovering slowly in the air to keep pace with the armored and infantry divisions.

Roping down the squads scattered to meet their objectives. In a matter of minutes the area was secure. There was very little resistence as the only enemy troops that could be found where holding up refuge in an abandon building trying to heal their wounds.

"Move in the convoy lads come on." While the rest of the squads ensure that the area is secure a large convoy of armour, jeeps and trucks rummbles into the empty market place.

A soldier heads to the lead jeep and salutes as the commander steps out.

"Sir, we have taken three Helghast prisoners. They seem very reluctant to talk."

The commander looks around and puts a pair of sunglasses on. Then turns to face the soldier.

"Then make them talk trooper, make them talk."

"Will do sir." The soldier salutes and marches in the opposite direction.

"Put a guard on 24 hour watch and i only want one enterence to this place, block up all other enterences with rubble, sandbags and whatever u can find." The captain near him salute. "Aye aye sir."

"Green here, whats your report? over."
"Captain, We have located a Helghan occupied town, minimal armor, but they are well dug in, we have a regiment of CDF awaiting orders to advance on the town. over."
"Affirmative, Karl, recce the town and bring back a report, i will commision a squadron of air support. over and out."

Recon Sargeant Karl brught his squad over the crest of the hill, hey took out his monoculars and surveyed the town. Helghan troops ran from building to building, some shouldering Bazookas or HMGs, fortunatly, there was no sign of any Tank support. Karl was very cautious still, as Helghan Jet bikes were patrolling the area, KArl feared these weapons and made every attempt to avoid a conflict with them

The Jetbike swooped low over the tree canopy, its powerful thrusters heaving the weight of the armoured scout vehicle above the trees, it banked sharply to the right and the woodland below turned into an urban maze of the town of Marlette. there was no real setup for the streets, and the long dark alleyways and steep hillside roads scattered off into every direction. With an agile swoop Corporal Koplinski skillfully flew the bike over the tiled roofs and to the cheering of his fellow ground troops, performed a series of tricky manouvers that he had spent hours perfecting back in Helghan. Helghan. he had missed his homeland dearly, the sight of his family, his home. but it had changed now, ever since Lord General Helmawr had become Govenor. superstition spread like wild fire, and helghan seemed. Brutal. Koplinskis thoughts were shattered as the Surface-to-air missile rose from within the nearby tree-line, the rocket screamed towards him. Kolpinski froze. his traning and courage suddenly wept away, tears welled in his eyes. His skull and bike was blown into a thousand fragments across the Gloomy sky....

Dashing in and out of ruined buildings, Sgt Harper and his squad headed towards their post. The commmander had decided that many squads be dotted in the city around their Forward Base to give a heads up to when an attack was coming. Also it was rumoured that armour was in the area, but the Commander still believed that this fight will be resorted to hand to hand. However, each squadwas given an anti-tank weapon. There orders were simple, kill any enemy that moved and hold your ground until reforcements arrive.

"Within the next few hours, Helghan armoured companies, spearheaded by the Helghan Elite 906th "Hellcats" Armoured company, will launch a victourious assault against the Enemy. The Chimairan and Demetris froces are sure to be routed from the town, their Commanders rumoured to be saying "Sod this, Im getting the Hell outta Here!" Helghastnam will be sure to crush all opposition....wait...news just in.....the attack has been launched...we have a correspondent at the scene...Over to you Stefan..

"Thanks Gabriel. yes, you have joined me live at the greatest military victory since the Rebel ISA scum were overrun a few years back! Im am riding on the back of a MarkVIII as we enter the combat zone, morale is very high, the troops are also in high spirits, very confident that we can crush these worthless dogs!"
Troops behind cheer, guns fire wildly in the air, a CAA gunship is slightly visible through the morning fog, its blades spinning, a chain gun opens up...
"Oh My God!!, get down evryon......"

"Ahem...Well....We are of course *cough* confident that..none was harmed....back after these messages"

The Helghast rallys, marching towards Bellia, were in a fierce and brutal battle. Demtrian and CDF infantry were being brutally slaughtered by machine gun fire, wich ripped through their bodies apart like a knife stabbing through one weak layer of paper. Blood and gore spilt everywhere - the battlefield is one big blood bath. Everywhere you step, there will be one more puddle of blood. Limbs were also cut from infantry soldiers. Bodies of comrades and enemies being cut down by gun fire at every street corner.
Helghast forces weren't able to evade the same kinds of deaths that enemy infantry encounter. Yet, you could only see bullet holes and blood pouring out of their suit.
Not only was it a bloody war, but the industrial city had become a demolished industrial city. Buildings falling from heavy fire, smoke covering the sky, explosions at every corner. And nearly every fleet of armored divisions from both sides falling apart and being destroyed by rockets and grenades. Every fleet was nearly dismantled by enemy infantry and armored fire, so now both massive fleets of armor, on each side, were down to small squads of 10.
Helghast Dropships did best they could to prevent being destroyed but were too vulnerable, especially the Helghast troops pouring out via rapelling down with ropes.
There is a slight chance of both Helghast, Chimairan, and Demetrian to take the city. Helghast forces sent out a distress call to Helghastnam troops to help aid them.

"Requesting......backup......grid co-ordi....6758...OPEN FIRE!.....repeat, grid.....man down, MEDIC!!"
A series of bursts and crackles over the comm link, a stifled scream

"Heavy fire....enemy dug.....Chimai.......unships!"

High Marshall "Axe" Axton threw the comm-set across the interior of the large "Hellmouth" class Heavy Tank.
"Those bastard scum...We throw everything at them, our brethren die, and yet those Chimairan dogs have the arrogance to keep fighting. We are losing our air superiority. send in our detachment of "Hellraiser" AA guns. Now!"
"What is our Stat report?"

"Marshall, sir, our units are scattered across the western industrial zone, CDF forces blockaded some paths, and have laid ambushes at others, we have suffered many casualties, but the CDF troops are breaking, we have collected many skulls."

"Excellent, but what of their cowardly allies?"

"Forunalty sir, we have caught them unawares, our outriding units have engaged, while our heavy armor is going to outflank them. they are however, well dug in amongst a market place."

"Continue to press the advantage, keep the enemy pinned, BLOOD FOR THE THRONE!"

Shells exploded around Harper and his squad. Armour roared towards them destroying everything in sight. He and his squad ducked behind cover.

"Sir what the fuck do we do? They have armour!"

"I know dammit, give me the radio." A small man carrying a radio on his back ran towards the Sergant.

"Tango base, do u copy, Tango Base do u copy? Fucking answer!"

A loud crackling of static then a fate voice came through.

"We copy.......what......situation?"

"We are getting slaughtered here, we need armoured support NOW!"

"Neg...ative..... armour...... couple.... hours.... hold ground... until reinforcements.... come."

"You have got to be kidding me!"

"You...do you..... duty.....ser...gant..."

HArper threw the radio to the ground and the head of the comms soldier exploded before his eyes as bullets riddled flesh off his skull. He looked down further down each street seeing his comrades fighting bravely, holding till the last man.

"Ok Johnson take Locker with the anti tank and see if you can find away around." They both nodded and headed offinto the rubble.

"Ok boys." Harper reloaded his weapon. "Lets so these Helgast son of a bitches how to fight."

The troops all roared. "YES SIR!" All at once they slightly nudged themselves from the cover and began unloading their entire clips into the oncoming troops. He knew they couldn't hold, but if he could get them thinking there was more soldiers here than there was, it may slow down their advance long enough for the armour to get here. It was a risk but they were out of options. He only hoped that Chimiria was doing better than they were.

Colonel Gregor Hahka, of the 60th Infantry Division, and his squad, of Base Soldiers, were pinned down by Chimairan and Demetrian forces in Bellia. They were taking cover behind ruin-made ditches in a street corner.
He and his men fired their StA-52 Light Assault Rifles, other of his men wielding StA-3 SAW Light Machine Guns. Hahka is a young man - 21 to be precise - and this is his first war. He used the scope on his LAR to pick off some enemy infantry that were exposed behind their cover. So far, he could only kill two enemies with quick bursts of fire.
That was last of his ammo in the magazine. He ducked and pushed his back against the ruins of the cover. He changed his magazine and went back to facing and firing the enemy.
His comrade cursed uncontrollably as he got shot in the arm. Gregor screamed, "Medic! Oriem needs a medic!"
One of the soldiers replied by running towards the wounded Oriem gave him his last medical pack and patched his arm up in the speed of lightning. After Hahka knew Oriem was fine he went back to picking off enemies.
He shouted an order, "Suppress those bastards! Give them all you got!"
They responded with his order. Hahka stood up and aimed his rifle, until a shot almost hit him!
He ducked, pressing his back up again, at the same time saying, "Shit! Fucking kill those assholes!"
One troop next to another on his right ducked and declared, "I'm outta ammo! Anyone got some to spare?"
Gregor Hahka reached into his ammo pack, strapped to his belt, and pulled out Cylinder Cartridge and tossed it to the soldier. "Here, take it and shut up!"
The farthest Helghast soldier on everyone's left stood up, but fell backwards when rifle fire cut through him.
One yelled, "Fuck! Private Kail is down!"
Another yelled at him, "We can fucking see that! Quit your whining and shoot those fuckin' bitches."
Now, the squad was down to eight, not including Hahka. He assumed the worst for his men, but will fight to the death.

All of a sudden, something exploded in the enemies's location! Hahka wanted to see what happened. Soon, throguh the smoke, he can see two Helghast Jet Bikes in the air, firing missiles at them!
"Yeah! Take that you cowardly bitches!" Oriem cheered. All was quiet as the enemy troops were either retreating or destroyed.
Soon behind the squad, a Helghast APC and Light Tank rolled up to the squad. The squad was happy that armor had been brought to them. Ten soldiers poured out from behind the APC...

The huge defence that CDF and Demetrian forces set up, to protect Bellia, is crumbling as Helghast forces take control and occupy street-by-street. The amored divisions of the CDF's and Demetrian's are outnumbered 3:1, as well as infantry are really close but still Helghasts outnumber them 9:6.
The moral of Helghast troops is growing with each victory in the city, and enemy forces are broken and are routing. Yet, still the fight rages on in Bellia. Only 20 hours left for Helghast forces to be able to conquer the city. They kept their word, if Bellia is not captured within 72 hours, then Helghasts are forced to retreat to the citadel at the outskirts of the city. It may be for nothing, if they don't capture it in time, but it will be a massive blow to enemy moral and troops.
Only time will tell, as there is still plenty more of the city needed to be captured.

Lt Sharpe climbed into the cockpit of his A12-"Puma" Gunship. his co-pilot gave himthe thumbs up, Lt Sharpe spoke over the comm-link. "Code Name: Brainstew, I repeat, Brainstew! Yeeehaaa!!"
"Cheers and applause rose up[ over the comms, followed by the revving of engines as the massive Gunships prepared for take off.
The CAA forces were fortunate to have a variety of VTOL gunships and other aircraft types. If theres one thing the CAA could muster, it was the might of their aircraft....

Flynn dived as another shell exploded behind him, shrapnel scythed through his leg, he clutched the wound, his dirty hands smothered with grime and blood, not all of which being his. The CDF platoon was holed in amongst an old factory, in the heart of the industrial sprawl of Bellia. They had heard that their allies Demetris had gained a foothold within the city and Flynn had instructed all CDF ressisstance to retreat to that position, together they could hold whilst the main CAA armor regiments engage the Helghan tanks.
Currently, they were roughly five blocks away, but they were pinned by a Helghan APC down at a crossroads. It had cut the platoon in two and now they were at opposit ends of the street.
"Dammit!" cried Flynn as more Helghan troops poured out of the APC. He picked himself up and aimed his assault rifle, he had barely two clips left, he had to make them count. He fired a short burst, clipping a Helghan who had stumbled out. his squad accounted for another two and the Helghans appeared to be faultering...."Just a little further" he thought.....

The battle raged on as reinforcements had come to Helghast aid in the knick of time. The reinforcements:
10 APCs of each type (regular, MRL, AA)
16 Light and Heavy Tanks
6 Jetbikes
6 Dropships
60 Helghast Base and Elite Soldiers
20 Crates of Ammunition for sentries
400 Medical Kits

Helghast forces started to fight more harder and valiant. The reaction to that made the soldiers occupy more locations faster than ever. The battle for Bellia could go to the Helghast troops because of the more occupations of the city, suply lines are cut off to the enemy, and more and more enemy forces die every 5 minutes.
Helghan is putting their best fight ever in this war. Bellia will fall to Helghast hands, and will quickly slow down the large weapons production for Chimaira and Demetris.

ooc: lol, i know but there are only limited pics of Helghan APCs, but perhaps not all of them look like the ones from Killzone, as there are likely to be dozens of different patterns or variations :)

Sharpe piloted the "Puma" with ease, gliding the heavy gunship downwards, entering his attack run. A heavy cocentration of Helghan armor was advancing upon a collection of CAA occupied arms factories. fortunatly a CDF ambush left the Helghan convoy scattered across a large highway, they were an easy target.
Sharpe relayed his orders calmly over the Comms. "Phoenix 3, this is Phoenix 1, engage targets, knock out the lead and rear tanks first, then pick the rest off, prep side winders. ENGAGE!"
The "Pumas" Formed up, and begun their sharp descent, Heavy Caliber bullets streamed from their nose guns, shredding Amor as if it were paper, a volley of sidewinders obliterated the front few vehicles, the rear tanks knocked out secinds later.
"No Mercy!" Screamed Sharpe....

Helghast APC AAs in the city detected a hostile target in the air. Several APC AAs could see the target without radar. It was a Gunship with a brightly painted name saying, "Puma". It was firing at Helghast convoys uncontrollably and the APCs had to stop it.
Several transmissions went out the APC AAs that detected it.
"Hostile Gunship in the air. Very lethal, targeting our supply lines. You all are ordered to focus your fire on that gunship. It's labeled Pu-ma. Attack with caution, no telling what it could do. Transmission ended."
Every APC AA in the range of the hostile target turned their AA guns towards the Puma ship, unquestionly. All fired at it.
The Gunship evaded the fire quickly but it got hit in the proccess. It lost control, but fired inaccuratley at Helghast APCs.

Aftermath
Soon, Jet Bikes were deployed quickly to patrol the skies of Bellia so nothing like this happens again.

The aricraft spirralled out of control, Sharpe struggled to level it off. after realising that the situation was hopeless, he pulled on the eject lever.
He shot out of the aircraft cockpit. looking down, he was thankfull that the Helghans continued to pour firepower into the "Puma". a breeze took him away from the worst of the fighting, where he landed on the roof of a derelict warehouse. As he drew out his sidearm, he prayed that he wasnt spotted....

In Marlette, CDF forces have begun operations. A regiment of CDF troops backed up by a squadron of light tanks and APCs have entered from the bottom of the hillside town and are fighting their way up.

"The dog landed in that warhouse" Sargeant "Bull" Gerring growled. he pointed towards the dusty hollow building. the rest of his squad grunted and murmered in their response. they were all very tired, but were still filled with the urge to kill Chimairan scum. they picked up their weapons and cleavers, dropping the reamins of some unfortunate civilians and headed in the direction of the downed pilot....

IC: The APCs could see Helghastnam troops heading towards the wreckage of the crash. Something was odd, the commander of one APC knew the plane was destroyed, but does not know if the pilot of the "Puma" was killed in the proccess. He ordered is APC to head to the wreckage, he fears the worst for the Helghastnam troops if the pilot is not dead, despite there are more troops than the pilot.
He knows it's not good to abandon his patrol, but he might be saving lives of comrades.

Hahka, and his new squad of 18 soldiers, APC, and Light Tank went across the ruins of the enemies - the ones they faced earlier - cover. Bodies lay everywhere, limbs from a single enemy soldier were torn from his body, puddles of blood. The true horrors of war.
Yet the horrors do not affect the Helghast soldiers in any way - except the loss of comrades and allies.
The squad walked across the bodies and the AFVs traveling at the side. Hahka looked around. He can see buildings turned to ruins, fires burning from civilian cars, and explosions, gunfire, and screams filling th air.
Hahka raised his hand and waved it forward to a road block. Signalling he wanted his squad to run their - without sound.
Nothing was in sight, he turned to the Light Tank, it's main gun whirred as it moved. It turned and looked up. Hahka turned to see what it was looking at.
The Light Tank still stared at it, facing a large building withfew windows.
Gregor Hahka couldn't see anything. He was anxious to know what the tank was looking at.
Hahka now knows what it was seeing as a single shot hit the ground in front of Gregor. "Shit!" He screamed and ran towards his squad. A sniper was in range.
Another shot was fired near him as his men screamed, "Get down Colonel!"
Then the tank fired a shell at the building and exploded. It was quiet now.
"Dammit! I was so close to being shot by a fucking sniper!" Hahka screamed.
"You are fucking lucky your not dead, you lucky sunovabitch!" Oriem said. "Look at me! I got my arm wounded by gun fire, and yet your not hurt at all!"
"Yeah I know Oriem. But you should be fucking lucky you're patched up. Let's go. I'm hoping to find some buildings to take cover in."

Ten minutes later. Hahka, his men, and the AFVs were in another quiet street. Yet Hahka remained to have his gaurd up. Then, loud gunfire was heard - not seen.
"We should check it out, sir." One soldier said.
"Fine." Hahaka said.
But Hahka paused as he heard a loud whir in the sky. Two Jetbikes and a Dropship in between flew through the sky; and the Dropship soon came to a fair hieght and eight Helghast Elites rappelled down. They can see Hahka and his squad as soon as the Dropship left.
One Elite, possibly the commander, walked up to one of Hahka's soldiers. He asked, "Who are you? Are you the commander of this squad?"
"Hell no, sir. I'm not the commander. He is." The soldier pointed to Gregor.
"Oh." He said to the soldier and then walked up to Colonel Gregor. "What are you doing here?"
"We are to scale the city until we reach the city center. We have orders to help the allies there hold it."
"So is my Elite squad. Wich district are you supposed to hold?"
"The left district."
"Then we are no help to you. We are to hold the center district. Goodbye..." He turned and walked away with his squad. Hahka stared at them until they were out of sight.
One soldier scoffed. "Hmph! Elite my ass! They think they are better than us. Well at least we got some armored vehicles."
"Shut the hell up!" Oriem said. "Without these armor they are still superior to us."
"Whatever."
Hahka turned to face the two. "Quit your bitching and let's get moving..."
