I had this idea for an Earth where people pick their nation and a ifferent thing happens to them over time.

For example, the Conferacy and the Union come to pa peace agreement and the United States is split between the North and South. Germany keeps france or something.

Ideas? Questions? Comments? WTFs? Insults not welcome.

So basically an earth where everything happens opposite to what actually happened then?

Not exactly opposite, but yeah. Kinda. History happens differently.

hmm, how about this:

South America is composed of two countries, New Portugal and Brasil, of which Brasil, Peru, and southward is Brasil and New Portugal is all but Colombia. Colombia up to Mexico is New Spain, Mexico is.....Mexico, but it has most of Texas and all of New Mexico and majority of Arizona.

Louisiana is like Quebec, oftenly wanting to be French.

Canada is split, Prime Canada (English) and French Canada (duh).

America is made up of the Union (pretty much all the states not in the Confederacy) and is a democracy.

The Confederacy is a socialist-democracy which controls, additive to the confederate states, most of the Caribbean.

Europe pretty much is Hitler's. America never intervened. Great Britian is economically almost dead, but on the verdge. Northern Ireland is now part of Ireland. Poland, France, Prussia, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Bosnia-Hamasomething, and a lot of Yugoslavia no longer exist, as they are Nazi-controled.

The Soviet Union is still around, strong as ever (as a third superpower over Nazi Europe [1] and Brasil [2], which has an extremely high economy) with only Afghanistan being the only other state that was not part of the Union that is now. China and Vietnam and North Korea have merged, and South Korea is povertized from North Korean ravaging, and is a territory of North Korea.

Japan occupies majority of China, but is now a Fascist dictatorship, not an empire. China is almost dead, as is India which has Pakistan and Bangladesh. Middle East is mostly Arabia and Iran kingdoms. Africa is all anarchy with exception to Egypt and Morocco, which Morocco is a territory of Spain (which has taken most of Portugal) and Egypt was somehow taken by Isreal where massive anti-muslim campains are being held, backwards of Hitler's remnants.

The world's economy is gone, with nations with power self-sufficant, and those without power in anarchy. No international trade exists. Globalization is a curceword. Democracy everywhere is corrupt, and the only stable government is Brasil which holds a Republic and the people agree with the government.

The hgihest military tech is inbetween the Soviets and Nazis, with the Union and Brasil fighting massive wars over what is better - American Democracy or strict-Republic Democracy. New Portugal, Mexico, Confederacy, and New Spain have constantly been at war. French Canada and Louisian are pretty muh the only nations who stand eachother (as their homeland, Vinny Grance, is under Nazi rule as a province).

Any ideas? Would be interesting to play Confederacy....

I was thinking something like this:
The person wanting a particular nation picks it and chooses a different history course for it. The USA and CSA split the American continent fifty-fifty, save for California, which belongs to the Union. Mexico is at its borders.

I was thinking of starting it at World War I, where Britan is fighting Germany by itself, save for Russia. Germany sends a message to Mexico offering them an alliance and it is never interceted by Britan, so the CSA and Mexico go to war.

Might be interesting, I could set up the confederacy pretty well (I am obsest with their plans for democratic government) and maybe say in the Spanish War both American sides fought but the Confederacy got the spoils or what not...

USA and CSA split the rewards down the middle?

Perhaps we shoudl start at the end of 1866 after the war ends.

Not just yet. I was wondering, we should start around just as WW1 is starting. as people claim their nations, they can make history, add or remove nations if it is realilistically possible that they would have been taken in the first place, and go from there.

All I know is if I am the Confederacy I am so going to try to own Mexico and the Caribbeans.

Up to Spain.
1900 would be a good year to start.

hmmm ill have morrocco and riode oro...like the only thing the spanish lost is the carribeans and america if the span-amer war actually happened
