It was night when a march began. It wasn't raining. Unusual because it always rains at this time. The largest tower, built out of steel, all were, hung one of many black banners. In the center of this banner is the Helghast Insignia.
Millions of Helghast soldiers marched forward. The marches sounding like a crunching sound. These Helghasts were dressed in black suits with hellish helments on. Boots rising to their knees. The helments fit each soldier, and they were proud to wear it. The masks did not have eyeholes to see through - instead they were goggled-like eyeholes with an orange flash - and tint. The mouthpiece had a large black tube running from it to a large pack strapped to their belt; and another, except it was attatched to the right side of the helment where it coiled to a very small pack on the right shoulder.
The soldier's belts were strapped with other two large packs on each side. On both shoulder sleeves was the same Helghast insignia on the banners. And a red strip made on the left sleeves, only, wrapped around the wrists. A large Helghast StA-52 Light Assault Rifle (with a shotgun attachment under the automatic barrel) was held on the right hands of each Helghan Soldier, and it leaned against their body. Their free hand was clenched - symbolizing the traditional Helghast Act of War - and swinging back and forth. Each soldiers did it in the same pace and direction.
The soldiers each turned their heads, still marching forward, and faced the large fortress-like wall - with three banners rising over it. There were at least one-hundred Helghasts in each Company. And almost over 44 million all together - or much more . The entire army seemed endless - partially because the military is compulsory and nearly the entire population of Helghasts are in the military. The soldiers marched five or more steps and stopped. The last step was when they slammed their right foot down.
Then, every soldier took their left hand and pulled it to their left side; and stood there. Then after a few seconds a dozen Helghast Dropships on the left side of the vast army took off and the march of troops resumed, this time their right hand clenched and swinging. The Droships flown around the entire army with ease. They came to their last stop and turned to their left and faced the large wall - with the three banners.

It wasn't long now, there was a black podium in the center of the "fortress". A bald, black figure walked up to the podium and pressed his hands against it and bowed his head to the floor. The man standing there is the supreme leader and heir to The Helghan Empire - Scolar Visari.

He was dressed in black, like the others but had a small two-stripped banner hanging from his suit with a Helghast insignia and did not have the gear of the Helghast soldiers.
He now looked up, overseeing his magnificent army. "My people - sons and daughters of Helghan - for many years, we have been a broken nation." Some of the orange goggled, helmetless, Helghast Elite nodded in agreement. All the Elites were bald and had no strand of hair on their head. None of the soldiers, or citizens of Helghan had hair. That is what happens to you when there is radiation in the air. Visari continued. "Shunned, oppressed, and conquered by those we sought to escape!" He spat and slammed the podium and pointed behind him without looking.
"Ten years ago, I asked for time, and that time was by you - you the strength of my arm", he raised his arm. "The holders of my dreams. Our forefathers embarked on the greatest exodus in the history of all mankind. An exodus for freedom - Helghan became that freedom. Our new world changed our bodies, at first it weakened us, but in fact we were growing...stronger. In the time you have given me, I have rebuilt our nation, I have rebuilt our strength, and I have rebuilt our pride! Our enemies at home have been re-educated, we have given them new insights into our cause. On this day we stand united once more, on this day those willling to divide us will here our voice! On this day we shall act as one! And we shall be ignored no more! Defenders of the Helghast Dream, now is our time!" He concluded his passionate speech.
About a undred Helghast soldiers wre holding huge staffs with the Helghast flag on the top, and they began waving it. The rested hailed Scolar Visari. Visari smirked at their strong sense of patriotism, then turned and walked away.
War has begun.

The UPA (United Pananab Army) would like to strike a deal with the Helghan Empire or any other nations wishing to strike a smiliar deal. We will serve as mercenaries in whatever military campaigns you partake in, so long as they are reasonable in exchange for weapons, aircraft, and possibly even naval units. We will not partkae in anything that violates UN resolutions, save for nuclear armament uses.

Just because my military is compulsory does not mean it's for everyone! Only the strong infants that are born will be drafted to the military at age 12-13, and I have always spent money to train my men. I'm no stupid Leader, and besides our factories use our resources to create the war machines and weapons.
I use the money to spend on my soldiers. You need to learn a lot about a nation before you start judging them, just like what I've done with Borman Empire.

But how do you keep your military in form?
Ammunition for 44 million soldiers must cost many billions of dollars, even more so in times of war. Fuel, rations, bombs, maintenance for your ships, that is even more. Surely your GDP cannot handle that much; no country can equip, train, and prepare for war 44 million people without seriously crippling, at least, or even imploding it's economy. The Armed Empire has several Chapters of Space Marines, about 6 million men in all, along with 10 million Imperial Guardsmen. And even those numbers drain many planets of their resources quickly. Our Empire's total number of citizens is 3.7 billion people.
So we repeat the question, how can you keep such a large army at all times?

In war time, my factories and farmers work extra hard for the soldiers. Not by law, but because nearly every family has a family member in the Military. They want to help as best they can.
And besides, in war time, there is a reason why capturing supplies is critical.

Hmm. We see. But be careful with you economy, as it may totally collapse if you allow even a small mistake in spending. However, if we find that you have no reason for war with the Borman Empire, we will be forced to support them.

The Theocratic Chemicalists of Jenrak would like to warn to the Helghan Empire that the Borman Empire will sufficiently and effectively, crush you, no matter what your army size is. The difference is technology and experience.

I second to this. I would like to sacrifice sometime to help a new nation, and become its ally. But if you are to join, there would be some rules to go over. Telegram me if you're interested.

BTW, Jenrak, I disagree with you about not being large. You have more people then I do, if that's what you mean by large.
