Official Message from the Sucellan Governance

Due to concerns that the Sucellan Governance might be a National Socialist state or harbor National Socialist beliefs, the Reichsrat and Reichstag have moved to change common terms in the Sucellan Governance. These changes effect only the names of the institutions, and not the process by which they operate. Reichsführer Peffe Tannen has sponsored this, and from this day, September 21, 2557, Common Sucellan Calendar, the following terms shall be noted:

"Reichsführer ___" shall be changed to "Sovereign Arbiter ___."
"Reichsführung" shall be changed to "Arbitral Council."
"Großkanzler" shall be changed to "High Chancellor."
The "Reichstag" shall be changed to "Parliament."
The "Reichsrat" shall be changed to the "Council of the Governance."
The Provinzrats shall be changed to "Council of ___, Province of the Governance."
"Deutschefranzösisch Rheinland," the most widely-known Province of the Governance, shall be changed to the "United Sucellan Rhineland of Germany and France."

Please note that this is not an attempt to eradicate the German (Standard) language from the Governance, it is merely an attempt to make it clearer to the international audiences that we are not in any way tied to the National Socialist regimes that once ruled Germany. Standard (German) will remain the official language of the Sucellan Governance.

We are men of action; lies do not become us.

Sovereign Arbiter Peffe Tannen
High Chancellor Wolfgang Rosenthal
Chancellor Karl Schneider
Chancellor Christoph Achen
Chancellor Gustav Engel
Chancellor Hans Zweig
Prime Minister of the Parliament Frederick Merkary

OOC: Okay, I finally got sick of people thinking Tannenmille was a Nazi state. I'm not a Nazi, I hate National Socialism both ICly and OOCly. So instead of always explaning that I use(d) Reichsführer as its literal translation of Empire Leader, I'm just going to change it completely.

And one final bump for exposure.

You can make IC-posts regarding this, it's an open message to all nations.

Thank you for your clarification of your country's true nature, Tannenmille. It is good to know that those of us whose governments do not like the form of government that the Nazi Regime represents, have no need to be concerned about your country and it's politics. :)

Shed Light, not blood.

We thank you for your support. It is a shame that we have been forced to change our traditional titles in lieu of being considered Nazi, but we would sooner forego our tradition to remove a possible international anti-Tannenmille feeling due to our past use of the term "Reich." Hopefully this will make our nation look no different in the eyes of the international community, as our policies have stayed the same.

What a shame such ignorance of other nation's cultures should lead to a nation changing titles due to sheer exasperation of being tarred as one of those odious National Socialist regimes, regimes containing the worst thuggery and impropriety that cannot be approved of. One would have thought that nations would take the time to understand and realise the cultures of other nations, (after all, what are diplomats for?) but alas, some of the international community prove to be astoundedly pig-headed.

Yours,

Lord Eldersbury of Danford,
Lord for the Overseeing of the Realm.

While we agree in some respects with the points you bring up, the decision was ultimately at the discretion of Sovereign Arbiter Peffe Tannen. He would rather be referred to as Sovereign Arbiter, a title that has no connotations to National Socialism than Reichsführer, while albeit being a cultural and historical title of Tannenmille, also a title of the Third Reich.
