Today, at 12pm, the Prime Minister, Adrian Woods, was traveling in his convoy when rebels from the disaffected region of Sutton are believed to have stopped and destroyed the convoy. The Prime Ministers where abouts are unknown.

At the sametime in the capital city of Philthealbino, hundreds of rebels flooded the streets taking control of brigdes, Police stations, the train station and other key buildings.

The Leader of the Rebels, former PM Jon Smith, stood on the steps of parliament and annexed the country, he declared that he was now the leader of Philthealbino and that Marshall Law was in force effective at 15:00 and has called for the army to deploy them selves on the streets.

At 19:00 the now former PM, Adrian Woods, was found dead in a wooden hut on the outskirts of the Redwood forrest, he is believed to have been tortured before being killed.

The former deputy PM, Mike Bing, has escaped and is being hunted. The Army have refused to show up and help the rebels, who appear to be gaining public support.

The death toll is said to be in the high hund....

The Empire of Snakastan are deeply troubled by this blind disrespect to the laws that bind a nation. We will unquestionably be sending troops to help reinstall the government. I have ordered the deployment of these elements to aid in crushing this rebellion;

Of course these actions cannot be tolerated by unrightful rulers, there are far more peaceful ways to acheive their ends, although we too must realize the limits that tie use to humanity. With that left hanging in the air, Jon stepped back and saluted 200 rebels who were standing outside the parliament building.

In other news; The disbanded army of philthealbino has left many desensitised and potentially murderous, children homeless. The Children are believed to be a part of the plan ennacted by former PM Adrian Woods, where children were taken from parents who either abused or couldnt look after them properly, and placed into an army ragime of strict disipline and mindless violence.
Citizens of the country are urged to stay away from anyone they may see as a philthealbinite Super Trooper.

The Rebel forces may not be as big as first thought, it appears that, although many of them were around on the first day, it is apparent that there are only 2000 heaviliy armed soldiers who are more than prepared to die for their leader.

2000 miles from Phitheabino On the SNS Draught carrier, the Supreme Commander of the Snakastanian expedition force stood hunched over satelite imagery of the Phitheabino coast. "That terrain looks inefficant for an amphibious assault." He growled to his intelligence officer, "The Emperor may see this as an opportunity to show our nation's might but unless we manage to contact any loyalist Philtheabino army elements we are going to go in there and get massacred on the beaches. I am not going to risk an assault until we get a clearer picture of the situation there."

As the waters shook violently with the cruisers in their depth, only the carriers and the transports could be sent out through the raging waters, the planes revving up for a careful launch and the steel hovercraft like transports following behind them. Infantry stacked up, they waited, as they would soon be once again on foreign soil. From his Carrier, leering into the window, was Nahk Territurari, his cape dangling slowly on his back.

We are planing to sabotage some defences in time for your landings. But we request advanced notice of 12 hours prior to zero-hour.

The rebels had not yet responded to the demands of the Imperial Commonwealth, and so action was being taken. No ultimatum would be issued; everyone got one chance, and the Philthealbino rebels had ignored theirs. Now, two carrier battlgroups and a full battlefleet were sailing full-speed to the war-torn nation, ready to reap justice.

Admiral Mike Hollister was the officer in overall command of the operation, though Generals David Phillips and Steven Long (of the Royal Marines' 4th Division and Royal Army's 95th Armored, respectively) would jointly command the ground war.

The Malkyeri fleet would begin its attack by bombarding known rebel strongholds and positions with missiles and planes, with intelligence provided by RIA geo-synch satellites. Following that, a massive ground invasion would take place, and forcefully return the country to the remnants of the lawful government. If that was not possible, an interim government would be created under Malkyeri protection until such time as democratic elections took place.

Admiral Hollister watched the waves pass by from the bridge of his flag ship, the dreadnaught Layman II. As his fleet neared Philthealbino, he sincerely hoped the rebels knew what they were getting into.

*10 Hours Later*
The drone of the transport's engines drowned out the chatter of the troopers inside. 300 Transports made up of the first wave of aircraft which would insert the troopers. The second wave, third, and fourth waves were behind each other by 6 hours each. Which meant that in 6 hours, the 9,000 troops packed into the transports would recieve their reinforcements. "30 MINUTES!" Screamed the jumpmaster. Troopers began to check their rifles and suits, adjusting their helmets and loading their AR-75's. Suddenly the massive plane jolted, sending extra equipment and troopers flying around the room. The sound of engines suddenly became quieter as an engine gave out. "Just 10 minutes! Hold on!" A crewmember came into the cabin. "Sir, ye gotta jump now, our left engine's gone out!" "Alright. OK! We're going now!" 30 parachutes opened up, as the B-94T suddenly blew up. The rest of the paratroopers bailed out, and more parachutes opened in the sky. Troopers grabbed their gear, and began to move out.

The Royal Navy has available several minesweepers that we are able to dispatch to your forces, in order to clear mines from the waters. They will be rerouted at once.

The Royal Marine and Army forces will attack the secondary beaches to the south, bypassing the heavy defenses along the main route. Once we have landed, our armored forces will move to break the enemy line and open a gap for your forces to land.

Still steaming quickly toward the southern coast of Philthealbino, the Fleet's missile cruisers slowed, and began tracking down targets. Once several targets were locked into the computers, the cruisers fired several salvos of cruise missiles, each loaded with sufficient high explosives to wipe any rebel fortifications from the beach-heads.

As soon as the hail of missiles had been launched, landing craft were readied, and planes launched from the carriers to run patrols and sorties against rebel positions. Once the beach was in range of the fleet's heavy guns, the landing craft would depart and the invasion would be underway.

Our transports have quite a small escort, and so are in the water a few miles away from the main landing site. The beaches are small, and will take us a long time to unload. However, we have trained for such scenarios, and are able to fully unload 750 soldiers and 50 tanks in only 15 hours. We are prepared to land 16 hours before the main invasion in order to be at the attack site for the main landing. If another force attacks from the other side of the rebel position, aside from the troops landing, we can overwhelm the enemy easily.

Though I cannot aid you in the more... violent aspects of warfare, I offer you a gift package of 200,000,000 Megalesion dollars and an elite group of doctors and technicians to keep your men and machines in working order.

I can assist by assembling a task force of 8 battleships, 6 cruisers, and 10 destroyers and landing craft.

I will provide Marines and spec. ops troops, along with plenty of medical supplies. I can also provide a few squadrons of fighter/bomber aircraft.

We are requesting permission to send in a small unit of lightly armed scout troops to locate and reveal the positions of any remaining rebel cells. We are posied to insert them at any time and all we wish is your permmision. While inside your country our troops will report any finding directly to your intellegence agiencies.

We apologize that we are not able to send more but we hope that the information our team is able to gather will help.

The Armed Republic of Numadia is deploying a force of 650 M1A3 Abrams Main Battle Tanks in order to assist in the war.

Even before satellites could relay images of the damage done by the missile attack, the fleet's guns opened up on the defenses of the southern beachs, what was left of them. Shells and rockets thundered down onto the beachs and rear areas for close to three hours, in a steady rain of fire and shrapnel.

As the bombardment waned, the assault boats speed forward toward the beach. Navigating the water was difficult, due the incredible volume of fire directly above them, and mines just below the surface. However, most of the boats managed to make it, and soon were close enough to open fire with their own covering machine guns.

As the shelling came to an end, a small detachment of philthealbinite soldiers moved around to the nests and threw grenades into each one.
After the first one blew up the rebels became aware of the troops and opened fire, quickly slaughtering them.

"Sir, we are under heavy fire, we cant move. Screams are heard in the background We need backup, Now sir we nee....

The General stood up from his desk and grabbed a rifle, he was prepared to fight, he ordered his troops to stand down until friendly soldiers were on the beach.

Philthealbino: Permission Granted.

"All right men. We been given clearence to proceed," said the task force commander. And with a souted order the ten men that made up the unit filed into the waiting steath dropship. After some time the word was given that they were over Philthealbino territory an would soon be jumping. Donning thier parachutes each man double-checked that all thier gear was ready. Suddenly the light above the door flashed green. It was time.

Even stunned and disorganized, the rebel defenders of the southern beaches proved to offer a tenacious defense. A hail of bullets greeted the soldiers in the assault boats, killing dozens before they could get off the landing craft. The tide of numbers, however, combined with sheer firepower, soon began to overwhelm the rebels as Royal Marines stormed ashore and methodically attack enemy strongpoints.

The Marines zig-zagged their way up the beach, in order to make it harder for enemy snipers and machine gun nests to target them. Sharpshooters on empty landing craft picked off rebels whenever they poked their heads up.

After a few brief moments, the Marines reached the main rebel defenses, and used grenades and bayonets to clear trenches and foxholes. It was quick and dirty fighting, and in a short time the Marines were well on the way to clearing the beach of enemies.

The second and third waves of landing craft arrived, dropping of Marines and armor, respectively. Scarcely thirty minutes after the first landing, the Main Battle Tanks and 'Spartacus' Light Armored Vehicles of the 95th Armored Division were pushing toward the rear or the defender's line, probing for weak spots and looking to shatter what was left of the rebel force.

The advance had slowed down, since the fleet no longer fired on the rebels because of the risk of friendly fire. Therefore, Marines had to clear pockets of resistance on foot, which was a costly practice.

Captain Mark Sutherland led his group of Marines away up the beach, looking for friendly troops. Just before the first assault boats had landed, there had been reports of fighting on the beach, and the brass had figured it had been troops loyal to the old government.

Cresting a small dune a little ways from the shore, Sutherland and his men stumbled across several soldiers standing amongst burnt-out machine guns. The Marines immediately brought their rifles to bear on the foreigners, but Sutherland raised a hand to stop them from firing. He used his pistol to gesture toward the destroyed machine guns.

"I guess you guys are friendlies, then?" He looked at the apparent leader of the group, wearing a general's uniform.

OOC: I'm assuming that's a reference to Zunderland's post. If you'd like my advice, ignore it until he rewrites it. I personally don't like to ignore people, but Zunderland blatantly godmodded the assassination of your government [I guess it was yours, he didn't really specify] without so much as a courtesy "I'm delcaring war on you." If I were you, I would just ignore his post for now, and perhaps send him a telegram asking him to fix it.

“GO, GO, GO!” General Fritz yelled at his troops. The invasion had begun: smoke was rising from the rebel emplacements on the beach; the smell of fire filled the air. The Concadorian force had just arrived 15 minutes before, and was eager and ready for battle. The first flanking wave—300 men—were already charging, gun muzzles flashing. The tank group behind him let off a salvo of shells onto the rebel’s heads; their second volley went to machine gun and sniper nests that the spotters had spotted those rebels don’t have a chance, he thought to himself.

Joe Petrol didn’t need the General to tell him twice. He was the first man to charge, his bullets hungry for something to chew into. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the first allied soldiers landing on the beach. He saw a rebel’s eyes grow wide with fear as he turned his head from the amphibious assault to the Concadorian force. Joe gunned him down without a second thought.

As the state armed forces flew in on choppers Zunderlads braveforces knew that fighting on these tearms was usless, setting the chemical charges on the roof they absailed into the buildings lower floor where they knew a room to room fight would be waiting...

The Rebels were alert after the Philthealbinite soldiers attacked too early. They all stood to, checking bullets, helmets and were generally battle ready, then the shelling started, the first missile took them by suprise, then more and more rained down killing many of the rebels there.

The Shelling stoped as suddenly as it began, the remants of the rebels stood up, looked to the water and prepared to fight.

They waited, the first ship drawing closer and closer, eventually the door opened and every gun, grenade, missile went flying towards the water.

Eventually as more men landed, the rebel numbers started to fall, soon the Rebels had no choice but to try and run, those who stayed died, those who didnt died.

one by one the men of Zunderlands 3rd pathfinder unit sliped throught the border a simple snit and the chain link fence was opened, the men snuck throgh the heavly wooded are and waited by the road side anytime soon a milatry convo would be passing there mission to add to the havoc in trhis country and the Brave nation of zunderland will aproach the top once again...

The Rebels obvioulsy have the support of the People. so the Imperial Race will supply aid to the nation that won its freedom from its opressors! Weapons and a volenteer divsion are on their way as we speak. (the Imperial race remains neutral in this conflict but it leans hevily toward the side of the Rebels.)

the Imperial Race has decided to intervine in this situation. The Wehermact is moving in with 5 million men, 500,000 Leapord 2 tanks and massive aircraft. The Highly trained forces of the Imperial race are moving to reinforce the rebel positions. we will use any force to ensure that this rebellion is successful.

If you fail to achieve victory (which I doubt), the Empire of Cravan and her colonies will give asylum to any and all refugees. My Air Force, among the best in the world, is on its way to assist. My people will not allow your people to suffer at the hands of these rebels. I, however, will not under any circumstances send ground troops. Ground troops will not be much good in this fight. At the moment, we will only conduct heavy air strikes on rebel emplacements, convoys, fortresses, and any targets you wish for us to bombard. I am willing to deploy several conventional cruise missiles to aid you, but they are very expensive and we do not want to use many.

Although I am not sending conventional ground troops, the Imperial Guard will be there in a matter of hours. Please, hold on until my forces can assist.

In response to the deployment of the Imperial Guard. the Imperial race shall deploy the waffen PS (elite fighters) we have also deployed several more Luftwaffe to the nation.

While infantry staid back and secured the area, setting up a perimeter and picket line, larger landing vessels came ashore, bringing artillery and more soldiers, always more soldiers. Further inland, the Marines had begun to set up a base camp. It was a temporary measure, and would be replaced once the Royal Army captured a more suitable location, such as a town.

Despite its temporary nature, the Division CP, called Fort Sheridan, was well-guarded against rebel counterattack. Sandbag redoubts lined with razor-wire formed a static perimeter, and was bolstered by makeshift pillboxes and machine gun nests.

Inside the walls of the fort dozens of tents were being set up, for command & communications, hospitals, and storage. Quarters for the soldiers would come later. The two hospital tents, large canvas constructs, the wounded moaned and screamed in pain until anaesthesia was administered or they lost consciousness. The doctors and medics worked as fast as they could, tending both Malkyeri and rebel wounded, but many would die no matter what.

In the southwest corner of the base, an honor guard of Marines stood watch over the dead, dozens of bodies covered with white blankets.

As the General walked out ignoring questions, one of the ninjas shot Jon Smith twice more in the head, and both followed the General out the room.

Your Highness, put your gas mask on, there has been a chemical attack. He Hung up and rang another number Put troops on the streets in full chemical clothing. The General then made his way out into a waiting car, which took him to a secret base away from the city.

As he was driven out of the city he could see bodies on the street, men, women and children, all dead.

He picked up his phone and answered Do we know who did this? a voice answered We dont sir, we think it may have been the Principality of Zunderland. The General sighed Do we know why? The voice replied We dont know, what we do know from the casing surrounding the chemical containers is used by Zunderland. The General rubbed his head Ok, let me know when you find out more. The General hung up and went to sleep, there was nothing more he could do until he got to the base.

OOC: The Imperial Race, leaving aside the whole "I have a bigger budget than you" (which doesn't really matter in RP anyway, and even if it did, its only bigger by a few billion dollars), there is no way you could have done all the things you claim to have done. First, your troops somehow deployed immediately, then somehow attack my soldiers and beat them (without any reply from me), and now you're ten minutes from the capital and threatening to nuke people? I suggest you seriously consider the reprecussions, both IC and OOC, of what you are trying to do. If you want to RP seriously, so we can all have fun, then by all means go ahead. Our air force has begun pounding rebel strongholds. Expect their supply lines to be cut off, soon.

Imperial Guard have been deployed in the country by covert insertion by Blackhawk. They have begun setting up ambushes and raids against the rebels. Expect rebel strength to weaken within the week.

I am not sure. If it did, there is no reason to keep my troops there. I will send some regular infantry for peacekeeping if requested, but I am calling Blackhawks to be ready to extract my men.

OOC:The Rebel Leader is dead, but the capital city has been attacked but there has been a chemical weapons attack, we believe them to have come from Zunderland.

After many days of searching the strike team sent in at the beggining of the war has found and marked on a GPS navigator several hidden rebel bases. Then they suddenly stuble upon the Zunderland strike force HQ. The Imperial Commonwealth hereby offers to hold peace talks in Malkyer, so as to avoid the danger and instability currently existing in Philthealbino.
The areas of Philthealbino currently occupied by Royal Army and Royal Marine forces are hereby declared a Protectorate of the Commonwealth under the Doctrine of Interdiction. The territory will be returned to the jurisdiction of the civilian government of Philthealbino once a peace treaty has been ratified and a date is set for elections.
Any attack on this Protectorate, while under Malkyeri Military Government, by any nation, will be interpreted as a hostile act against the Imperial Commonwealth.

The Armed Republic of Numadia has decided that the country's military assistance is no longer needed. We have begun pulling out. 300 M1A3 Abrams of the total 650 are moving off country, to be transported back to Numadia. 11,000 of the total infantry units are being airlifted out.

However, we will not yet stop sending reconstructional aid. Numadia is sending a total of 2.5 billion Numadian dollars, shipments of water, food, and construction materials to assist in cleanup and rebuilding. Along with that, we are sending 3,200 medical professionals and construction workers to help rebuild.
We hope this issue ends the right way, and no more blood is shed.

The Malkyeri delegation would like to quietly remind the prince of Zunderland that under the circumstances, and with the present company, neither he nor his nation are in a position to make demands of anyone. As the king steped up to speak the commander did one last sweep of crowd outside and the surrounding buildings. Then out of the corner of his eye he spots a glint of light on the top of parking garage. Swinging his semi atomatic sniper rifle to bear on the spot he finds a truck parked on to with its trunk open and two men assembling something beside it. In a moment it hit him-They were getting ready to shoot off a rocket at the podiems that the leaders were speaking. Taking careful aim he gives a command over his headphones "we've got enemy presence, secure the perimiter and get the king and the prince to safty." with that said he fired four shots into each perpetraitor. After watching them fall to the ground, thier rocket falling with them he swept his vision over the other building tops.

The Cravanian delegation was shocked at the sound of gunfire. The Imperial Guard in suits jumped in front of the Ambassador, sidearms in hand, while the fully uniformed ones piled out into the street taking cover wherever possible, assault rifles cocked and loaded, safeties off, and fingers on the trigger. A Blackhawk swooped overhead to get a full handle on the situation. Shots rang out further away in the city. What remained of the rebels began a street war to get to the podium area. When they realised they were as good as dead, they fought to the last man. People were dropping everywhere, and the Guard was trying their best to kill all the confirmed enemies before any innocent civilians were caught in the crossfire. It was too late. AK fire ripped through men, women, and children. The Guard commander ordered that one of the teams move forward. One Guard was hit in the arm. That fueled the fire even more. The Guards ripped through the rebels with forces from the The Broken Tree, Philthealbino, and all others represented at the conference. Hopefully, this would be the last blood shed Philthealbino would see for a while.

While the Zunderland and Cravan forces were fighting the rebels 2 Units of Philthealbinite troops moved in from the rear and set up 4 Heavy machine guns.

With the guns ready they watched as the rebels went to flee towards them.

"Drop your weapons", a soldier shouted. The rebels turned around to see 20 guns pointed at them.

They stoped, looked at one another.

"TO DEATH!" a rebel screamed and all of them took aim.

As soon as the guns came up, the soldiers opened fire, everyone of the rebels was on the ground within seconds. Soldiers ran forward and finished off any rebels that were still breathing.

-The Prince had stepped into the line of fire of the Cravanian soldier
