Today, Febuary third, the Republican Rebels launched a terrorist attack against General Franco's Convoy on his way to a meeting in Gibraltar. Thirty two Republican rebels, armed with various small arms, grenades, knives and the element of suprise attacked General Franco, killing over twenty guards, destroying several vehicles, and leaving the General with critical wounds, including a bullet to the abdomen, a shot to the leg, and a terrible scar over his right eye, down to his chin. The terrorists were narrowly defeated, and Franco did manage to escape with his life.
Not a day after the attack, the "Guardia Nacionalista de Libertad", or GNL was formed. The GNL is to be the elite police force of the Nation, with unlimited authority reguarding the security of Spain. Their jurisdiction is has no bounds, anything deemed a threat to the nation is by law, theirs. No warrants are needed for arrests they deem nessecary, any means needed to extract information from terrorists are allowed, they awnser to no one, and are granted any and all permissions.
Peoples reported of contradicting or opposing the Nationalist Party are to be watched by the GNL. Their persons may be searched, their mail read, their houses ransacked without warning. Any and all persons found guilty of opposing the party will be forced to turn over their allies, and tried by GNL Officials. In most cases, those found guilty will serve a period of time in forced labor camps, in rare cases, they will be exectued.
