Geckoid Representative Sworn In

Random Kingdom

In a ceremony this morning, the first ever Geckoid Representative, Aztor, has been elected and sworn in. Alongside the Human Representative, Acoran II, Aztor will express the will of the growing geckoid population.

Acoran will now only preside over relations between RK and nations with a human majority. Aztor will now take over for all other nations.

This change was approved both by the Human Representative and a Core poll, although those that rejected the proposal (mostly human) are discontent with the new system:

"What is this nation coming to? First we scrapped the government, and now we're throwing away the chance to make alliances with non-humans? This is political correctness gone mad!" one protester declared.

In his entrance speech, Aztor, a "synthetic" geckoid created in a human-run lab, declared that "today was the start of a new age for both humans and geckoids" and that "two races combined will give Random Kingdom an identity to be proud of".

I am absolutely sure that geckoids nad human beings can live together peaceful and in freedom.. why should there be reasons for conflictions.. we are all united under one blue sky, no one more...

(OOC: BTW, for those who don't know, geckoids are mutants, originally spawned from geckos entering the off-limit radioactive zone at Confusion City, which are humanoid in function (but reptilian in appearance). "Synthetic" geckoids are geckoids created intentionally by institutes to study and eventually to place alongside humans as citizens. The former never really took off...

I know this sounds far-fetched, but it all stems from being bored with humans a few months ago.

The word "geckoid" is now somewhat seen as a racial slur. A new term, "Cipheron", is gradually coming into use (named after a former Geckoid leader))

OOC: Sorry to bring the hammer of the mods down (not that I am a mod, of course, I am a mere mortal), but tags are now delete-on-sight:

This hasn't really been inforced at all, but there will be an attempt at making sure that this trend is kept to a minimum. "Tags" ruin the structure of RP's, and promote spam.

<snip*>

Extra Note: "Tag's" will be deleted upon sight. You will still be subscribed to the thread though.

Anyway, nice to hear from a former LWA member... I still don't know whether to reincarnate the alliance or not.

*by the way, no offense intended by this snip

APPEND: maybe there's a bit of leeway if the post is more than a tag... who knows...
