This might belong in NationStates, but I don't go to NationStates, and I don't know anyone there (thus having me no incentive and whatnot). But hey, after reading a blizzrd magazine and playing Diablo for a few days as well as reading Legacy of Blood, I was thinking, 'Holy crap, I should RP this!'. Then I most likely forgot about it.

But now, I just remembered it, and I want to RP a bunch of Diablo RPs, like sets. I'm not going to make a forums, mostly because they tend to get forgotten and slowly die after a few days. Three weeks at most for normal RPs (like the Starcraft RP).

I'll be Role-Playing the special monsters, like Pindleskin, The Zakarum council, and the Prime Evils, and then some. Just tell me what class you want to RP.

Layout:
Name: Your character's name.
Meaning: In times of old, most names had valorous or great meanings to the language they were usually native to, or a language that they have strong connections with.
Skill types: For example, Necromancers can focus on Bone spells and recurrections, poison spells, or curses. Or Paladins can research defensive auras, offensive auras, or holy spells. DO NOT say that you have skills in all spread out, because that can be manipulated by crafty RPers into Godmoding.

Acts
Act I: Andariel
Act II: Durien (sp?)
Act III: Mephisto
Act IV: Diablo
Act V: Baal

Special Rules
1: You are not allowed to kill other RPer's characters, whether they allow it or not. Characters can only be fatally wounded, but nothing else. The rule will apply to me. Since I will be in charge of the unique animals, I will not claim to kill anyone.

2: If you have nothing to do, interact with others or go to a tavern or do a quest, whether from the game or make one up.

3: Magic spells all have the same level of potency. Destructive spells such as Blizzard or Armageddon will not affect anything in a giant radius, and keep it fairly reasonable. As such, no massive bone armies are allowed from Necromancers.

4: No flaming. Nuff' said.

5: For normal, to champion to strong monsters, you can RP fighting them all you want, especially when I will be away. However, you cannot make a move against a unique monster unless I am there.

6: If you really want to fight a special monster in a special way, please telegram me and ask. I will see, and reply as soon as possible.

7: The first person to start a quest, will be the architect for the other RPers. for example, let's say Player A says that they will start to cleanse the den of evil, then the rest involved in the den of evil will join, if they want to, or just hang out. They will NOT make another Den of Evil quest.

8: Quests are recommended to move in the way they go, like in the game. Do not go straight to Andarial's quest when you have started the Den of Evil (unless you want to get maimed).

This will be hard. Super-hard, and it's going to probably be complicated as hell. But let's give this a try, shall we?

Cleave is basicaly an attack that does double damage, litteraly cleaving the opponent in two, it would be used at most 3 times a RP day against 1 opponent at a time

Turn Undead is a paladin speciality spell, where the Paladin forces undead to flee from his pure soul, so for example when surrounded by undead in a grave yard turn undead would force the undead to flee away from the Paladin, it would last for a duration of about 5 minutes at most, and could be performed 5 or 6 times a day, this is of course at your approval

So in other words you're using the spells Sanctuary and Zeal.
