Sanctions Placed Against Dumpsterdam

Random Kingdom
20-09-2005, 21:02
In an unaminous vote carried out today Random Kingdom has decided to place a trade embargo, tourism ban, and warning on Dumpsterdam.

All trade with Dumpsterdam and allied/affiliated nations will cease immediately - all current cargo is to remain at Random Kingdom, and all outgoing cargo shipments have been cancelled.

A transport ban has been initiated - no citizens from Random Kingdom may enter Dumpsterdam, or vice versa. All Dumpsterdamians (excluding those who have been granted RK citizenship) will be required to leave (special transport will be arranged).

The Human Representative, Acoran Smith II, has urged all other nations to impose restrictions:

"The governing body of Dumpsterdam has issued two death threats both to me and the entire nation. We are reluctant to go to war over these petty threats, but action must be taken."

To whome it may concern. We here in Colorado and Texas are interested in expanding our list of those we trade with. We are interested in exteding a hand in friendship to you.

We will match your sanctions, and top it off with the threat that if any RK shipping is found in the Empire's water, we will capture or destroy at our leisure and see about returning the crew after where done.

Do not provoke the Empire any further, you will not like the results.

Erik Solar,
Imperial Councillor,
Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Due to the above, and a watertight ban on any Dumpsterdamian craft, the transport for Dumpsterdamian citizens has been cancelled, and they have been detained indefinately until either an alternate method is arranged, the sanctions are lifted, or the citizens apply for RK citizenship. All three methods are unlikely.
