4th, 6th, 10th, and 11th fleets…

the masses of ships floated in the dark void of space as they rumbled along orbiting Savoy station, the ships saucers and nacelles glowing in the light, a few seconds passed, until a few more ships warped in, they were ships not seen in over 100 years the Constitution class heavy cruiser many considered them obsolete, they would be proven wrong the Constitution, the concord and the Yorktown were 3 newly refitted ships.

Mean while on the bridge of the USS Enterprise J Admiral McNamara was sitting on his soft leathery chair as the 3D holo panels popped up tactical sensors blaring every witch way and stations devoted to weapons worked busily, mean while officers worked franticly but quietly around him he stood up his black Grey uniform shuffling as he got up.

He spoke loudly “Get the fleet ready for departure I want you to target the closest Kazecistanan system”

The tactical officer nodded and said “Sir the fleet is ready shall I tell them to warp out?”

McNamara Nodded and said “affirmative, helm engage tacyon warp drive factor 15!”

With that flashes of green blue light filled the area as streaks of particles raced in to Tacyonic sub space .

There destination Multiple enemy systems, the 2500 ship fleet would attack 5 systems, 500 ships to each system .

ooc: So much for peaceful relations? Alright. Oh, but then I can't really effectively battle Chrono. *goes and pouts*

I have a few things I think we need to agree on before any major RPing, which can all be done in two posts, yours and mine, if you agree.
1) I believe it might be best to RP this one system at a time, to avoid confusion, and act as though they all happen at once.

2) Some of the systems attacked will be resource or outpost systems, hardly worth the number of ships, but acceptable.

3) We will both try to keep in mind that we are not invincible and take a few losses.

4) Don’t all dog pile me!

Go ahead and ignore the beginning of the IC post if you are short on time or not interested in its subject.

Ic: The see was like glass near the Cashwa island cluster, just off the east coast of the central continent of Kazec. It was a beautiful 85* out and the warm salt water sprayed up into Terak's face as he made a slow tack in his 19ft Beach Cat. The sail slowly luffed overhead as his 3 students crawled across the tramp to the other side of the boat and clicked themselves in. As the sail filled with air once more, the boat began to move, its windward hull lifting from the surface. Slowly he began to hike out, his head inches from the water's surface, feeling the breeze on his face. Unsurely, his student’s followed. A beautiful afternoon it was becoming. He knew, however, that the weather in this reign was subject to rapid change, and was thus always alert.

The sea beside the tiny vessel began to boil. Immediately he released both the main and jib sheets, brining the boat to a hard halt and letting the second hull slam back to the surface. he watched as the military submarine rose from the depths and came along side.
"Commander Ferzli?" a man on deck shouted.
"I'm no commander-"
The submarine's captain came out. "Kazecistan in under attack, you have been promoted. You are now commander of the K.N.S. KieNavar."
"What?!"
"You are to report to your ship within the hour."

Ferzli yanked in the main sheet with all the force he could muster. Slowly, the windward hull began to lift from the water. "You guys think you can handle a race?" he called to his students, each just months out of the Awakening, to which he received a unanimous "Yeah!".

The boat sped forward as the sails gained power. They hiked out as far as possible to keep the boat from tipping as it gained speed. Suddenly, he called out "Ready tack!"
"Tack Ready!"
"Tacking!"
The boat slowed to a halt as they moved across the wind to a new heading. Now on a beam reach, the boat moved as fast as t ever had, speeding towards the nearest Yacht Club, on a near by island.

"Should we let him go?" asked the crew man to his captain while standing on the submarine's deck.
"Yes, he will be fine."
"But orders-"
"Let him go."

The wind picked up and the boat moved faster. He flicked on the military flasher ayt the top of the tall mast, giving him right of way over any other boats. As they entered the bay, groups of children learning to sail in Optimists scattered from his path. He headed straight for the beach of soft sand. "Daggers up!" he called just before they made land fall. The Beach Cat had been moving so fast that most of the body left the water and slid onto the gentile slop of the beach without jerking it's crew too much. The children busied themselves talking about the fun and exhilaration of the ride while Ferzli ran inside. A crew came out and dragged the boat the rest of the way on to shore while he got on to the subway that would take him to the mainland, just a few miles off.

Reaching the nearest landing port, he commandeered one of the Bullet Transports there to take him to his ship, claiming official military business.

The ships soon reached their destination, and with in moments drooped out of warp. With in seconds they targeted the nearest Defensive platforms the ships rumbling towards them at amazing speeds.

Mean while the enterprise J split off and went in to the center of the massive formation.

Admiral McNamara Spoke looking at his tactical officer “All hands battle stations target enemy platforms and ship, and fire full phasers and torpedoes!”

Wit that the massive fleet, charged up there emitters and arrays with crimson orange beams of death, seconds later discharging a huge barrage, galaxy class dreadnoughts fired there main anti nadion cannons located on there ventral saucer sections. (basically an anti matter phaser), huge bursts of fire raced from every ship multiple beams pouring out of every ships, quantum and photon torpedoes following behind phaser fire
(I agree with those rules actually, I hate dog pilling its been done to me so many times)

(OOC: my ships are small the enterprise J is only 1.3 km long the rest are around 700m – 150 m long to supplement this problem my ships are often very high tech and have powerful weapons / shields. But I cant have many weapons mounted on most of my ships excluding the enterprise J, so while large ships can have tons of guns and missile tubes I cant, but the power of my weapons and shields outweigh my lack of guns and armor. ooc: Alright, then it's on. I must ask, though, that if you gain the upper hand and my doom is imminent, that you head any TGs I may send, about how I would like to finish it. (I have plans for both victory and defeat.)

Ic: The first system attacked was a vital economic center, containing Kazecistan's largest trading post and its largest mining operations. Both TS-22, Optica Haven (a major trade station) , and MBS-15 (a major military base station) resided in the system. None of the planets were habitable but most contained many recourses. They had light orbital defenses for pirates and illegal traffic, but most of the military might for several sectors in all directions came from MBS-15.

Sirens began to go off, their long slow rise and fall becoming almost unbearable at its peak. Immediately, all non-combat Kazeci ships in the area either jumped out or ran for the nearest dock. It was programmed into the mind of every Kazeci what the siren meant- evacuation. It struck fear into the hearts of most as they never ran drills for this siren. They knew death was near.

Being the military station that it was, many ships were stationed there, so that they may patrol the boarders and greet incoming ships. 15 were true military ships, the rest but police ships, useful against little more than pirates. Nonetheless, all of them raced toward the attackers, intent on nothing more than staying alive long enough for reinforcements. The smaller ships did what they could to be agile and dance around their foes, but it was a difficult task for Kazeci ships as they were designed for close range slug fests. Larger ships lumbered around the formation at long range, letting loose with all they had in an attempt to draw fire from the weak orbital stations.

Calls went out for aid, some official communications to fleet command, others desperate pleas from terrified individuals. All, of course, on closed and encrypted channels.

ooc: My ships are mainly large, slow, heavy hitters designed to slug it out at close range with other ships. As such, their defenses are specialized. Energy shielding that works primarily for energy weapons, Magnetic Particle Shielding that works exclusively on fighters and missiles (venerable to EMP), and armor supported by dampening fields. They should last a long time in battle, but their weapons are only mediocre.

A single Godulan Heighliner materialized at the edge of the system, disgorging a massive cloud of black... somethings... and taking up a sensor scan of the area. For the most part, it looked as if it had just materialized and dumped a massive load of space dust.

A single message went to what appeared to be the lead Fedral vessel.

Depart this system. Now.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, a single message came through to Thorn.

Commencing Project Onslaught Testing.

(AHH well that’s good make sure to take damage form this and my last volley of weapons fire)

Defiant class star ships broke off form the main fleet and began taking on the smaller ships firing there powerful pulse phasers and quantum torpedoes.

Pulses of blue and yellow flew out of the defiant class ships every witch way even a few enemy capital ships were being fired upon, Excelsior class ships and galaxy class ships, began firing multiple crimson beams of powerful phaser fire. Multiple orange glowing beams of extremely powerful phaser fire (say 4 Exwatts a second) lunged towards the enemy capital ships.

The larger galaxy class ships maneuvered rather quickly firing twin beams of phaser fire out of there arays, multiple ships began out flanking the enemy attacking from above below and behind.

Akira class cruisers launched massive volleys of photon, and quantum torpedoes, gigatons of fire power raced forward as the pulses of blue and crimson orange raced towards the enemy capital ships.

Fedral Ships raced forward flanking and maneuvering whooshing in all directions attacking the enemy from every place massive ammoutns of fire poured out of Federation ships.

On board the Heighliner, two men watched as the sensor sweeps returned telemetry of the Fedral assault on the Kazecistani defense forces. For the most part, the Fedral fleets had not even made any maneuver of acknowledgement in regards to the Godulan message.

"You know," one man said as the sensor computer swiftly distinguished friend from foe, "I've never been able to understand why a nation professing to champion freedom and democracy has fallen in with a bunch of warmongering dictators, AGAINST nations that hold philosophical notions similar to its own. With this level of enthusiasm no less."

"I know, right?" Replied his partner, not taking his eyes from the display screen. "Just goes to show that bullies can take any form. Ah good, friend-or-foe is finished. And here comes the second carrier."

The two men turned the screen such that they could momentarily watch a second Heighliner materialize into existence and immediately begin disgorging another cloud of strange black stuff.

"Transferring sensor data to Heighliner 14-B. Do you think we should send another warning message before we begin?"

"Yes, lets. We should make this one somewhat more forceful as well, I think."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

To all Fedral Union Vessels

Depart this system now or we will render you unto ash. This is the second and last time that we will ask nicely. You have one minute to comply, and any offensive measure taken towards the Heighliners will be taken as negative response and reacted to accordingly.

Do not make that mistake.

~Triad Consortium Heighliner 08-G

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edited to add:

Meanwhile, in the remainder of the Kazecistani systems, one could not help but notice the sudden presence of the massive Heighliners materializing at the darkest fringes of each system and unloading clouds of 'Space Dust'.

In these systems, the only sign of communication they gave to anybody was a simple "Howdy! Heard y'all were in a bit of a pickle! Just let us drop this stuff off and we'll be ready to take any evacuees that want to get out before the enemy forces come a-rampaging through this system. Just send a message with whatever whenever you're ready."

OOC: Well, the basic concept. Biiiiiiiiiiiiig honking transport vessels. The ones I'm using here are the merchant marine ones, cheap to construct despite their awesome size, since its really just a big concrete tube with a shield generator and probability drive attached and a small habitation pod to house the two pilots.

Uses different transportation technologies as well. I could have called it a megatransport, but Heighliner sounds better.

OOC: I'd like to get involved in this. I'm a new FT nation so most of my ships have been out exploring. I think it'll be interesting to have one wander into a warzone. If I can't get involved, let me know and I'll delete the post.

IC:

The Explorer Prime, a Kalden exploratory vessel, was safely ensonced in it's artifical wormhole as it travele towards it' destination. The vesel it self was an elongated oval, with round bumps dotting the surface. It as a dark grey and 250 meters in length, with no evident viewports.

Seconds later the Explorer Prime dropped into a warzone with a bright flash and a nearly invisible ripple.

"Senior One!" screamed the sensor officer, his eyes flickering in fear and astonishment, "The energy readings are incredible. Multiple alien ships enaging each other with energy weapons!"

The Senior Commander hissed in annoyance and rage, "What in the name of all the Gods is going on? Battle Alert, Level Five!"

Klaxons sounded throughout the ship as the ship entered combat mod. All over the hull's suface matt black armor began to deploy from the potrubences. With in seconds the ship was blanketed in over-lapping amored plates. Several of the roun bumps slid open and rail-gun barrels emerged. Torpedo tubes yawned open at the fore and aft ends of the ships.

"Ship is at Battle Alet Five, Senior One. Awaiting your command."

"Do nothing, yet. Hold position and observe."

"Yes, Senior On."

The drives of the young ships; almost 500 in all; slid gracefully and delicately from the many shimmering wormholes that formed; surroundign a greater vessel; if a vessel it could be called. An immense web-like structure, cracklign with free energy; it opened fire; hurtling webs of pure energy towards the Fedral vessels, even as so many Insect like fighters hurtled forth. The cruisers and battleships that disgorged them, were like immense machines; covered in carapace; a fine line drawn between insect and machine.

The great war chants echoed on speakers and across the void of space; the final death chant of the Brunnen G. Their warriors came in their bright colors and their high spirits; all save the leader, whose garb was dark, and spoke with the tone of one who had seen many battles and many moons.

"Brothers; our one chance, our only chance, is to bring this enemy to submit. If we do not fight for the common good today; then all shall live tomorrow as slaves."

"Vaiyo A-O

A Home Va Ya Ray
(For their homes and their heart)

Vaiyo A-Rah

"Inform 14-B to depart this system and move to assist any necessary evacuation efforts elsewhere. We'll coordinate the experiment from here."

"Sure thing."

The second Heighliner vanished from the system as soon as it had disgorged its cargo, leaving the lone Heighliner amidst a cloud of what appeared to be space dust.

On the Heighliner a small beeping caught the attention of one of the pilots.

"Hey, another fleet has moved into the system and is engaging the Fedral forces."

"Hold experimentation. Initiate program only if they make any overt moves in our general direction, or if enemy reinforcements arrive. Oh, and send a better taunt to see if they'll bite."

Thus, another message was sent to the fedral forces:

A message was sent to Darth Vicious heading the fourth fleet of the Abh Empire that was assisting Chronosia. The thousand ship fleet was in Space Time as it made it's way back to the Empire. Word was sent that the Federal Union was apparently being ganged up on and needing an ally to even the fight a bit.

Doron smiled as he read the report. "How long until we reach the system?"

"We are exiting the Sord now."

Doron nodded his head to show he heard. "Send word out to these thugs."

This is Darth Vicious from the Abh Empire. Our fleet has arrived here to keep this battle between Kazecistan and The Federal Union an honorable one. Brunnen, you are to withdraw your "forces" immediately. Children should not try to play soldeir unless they want to end up dead. Godular, you warmongers should learn that somethings are not your affair. If you move on the Union's vessels, then we shall erase your existence from space.

Patrolships unlocked the safeties on all weapons and fueled their supply of mines. Frontlineships fueled their mines but all ports remained closed. Attack vessels raised shields to maximum and powered their anti-proton cannons and powered up all laser cannons. The Patrolships broke away from the Frontlineships giving them a large buffer zone to launch their volleys from afar. Attack vessels mingled in with the Patrolships and flew as cover for fighters and other small vessels.

Ic:
The Kazeci ships were built to last in combat, but not with such odds. All but the two most agile police ships had been lost and one of the military frigates had went with them. Just because the rest were not totally destroyed does not mean that they were unharmed, however, they had in fact taken heavy damage. Most were missing part or all of their engine scaffold* and were scarred from bow to stern with burns, their energy shields having failed under the shear number of shots.

Ferzli looked upon this with a sinking heart as they completed their jump. He brought with him 150 ships: OF-1, DF-1, and half of DF-2. The sirens had gone, replaced now by music. It was sickening to Ferzli, the music, as he knew that people, Kazeci citizens, had chosen this to portray the mood of the battle. Sickening that they could mock death in this way. He despised those people, but he had little choice other than acceptance.

FA Lockhart wasted no time in giving orders, and his commanders wasted no time acting on them. Words would not suffice for the rage that burned within these hot-tempered people, and so they avoided them all together. The two 61 ship fleets came from opposite sides of the battle, closing their foe in the middle. Massive turrets fell back from the recoil of their powerful weapons. Lethal ion cannons- 4 on every super cruiser, 2 on each of the heavy battle carriers, and 1 for the torpedo ships. Thick golden beams shot through space, several converging on what appeared to be the weak spots of each target. A hail of blue Zat fire puddled over the shields of their foes, intended to drain them, opening them to attack. The golden beams ceased, their charge expended after 30 seconds of fire.

ooc: HBC from now on is Heavy Battle Cruiser
SC is Super Cruiser
and TS is Torpedo Ship (heavy hitter frigate)

The cloud had been drifting quite aimlessly, for all appearances registering as highly metallic space dust, swirling in space around the great gray cylinder with a prominent golden G etched on the sides.

Then, a simple signal radiated from the massive vessel, and the massive cloud burst into life with a grim vibrance, and stopped swirling. The Heighliner, its initial business done, rematerialized in the position of the second cloud.

After the passage of several seconds, the cloud took a strange formation and began to fluctuate strangely.

ooc: Cool, what's this cloud-thingy do? Kill I hope?

Ic:
The Kazeci ships had managed to lumber into range. They forced their massive hulls to become intermingled with the smaller, more agile craft. They came up in fours, boxing in their prey. Then the slaughter began. Red beams lashed out, attempting to create temporary holes in the target's shields; within them, two photon torpedoes fired in quick succession, hopefully slamming into the hull with out the interference of shielding. They aimed for the key systems of weapons and propulsion. Zats continued their hail in an attempt to weaken the shields. And perhaps the worst at this range were the EWCs. Their transparent waves of power crushed and shoved all that they impacted. It was as if the target ship was being rammed by solid matter. They were pounded in this manner until they either escaped or were destroyed, in which case the 4 SCs would simply find a new target. Similarly, the weapons unable to face the entrapped ship were used to defend the formation.

The HBCs clustered together, affording protection and the ability to dominate an area with large numbers of drone fighters. All this while the TSs stayed out of the fray, using their long range arsenal to inflict pain with some protection.

Then this is the moment. This is when the night comes down, a hammer on an anvil. And the only absolution accepted is a legacy of brutality. A single note rings on.... Words of prophecy and pain punctuated cruelly with blasts from the Foreshadow; that great and ancient weapon, coldy crackling with energy and darkness. And On. The Insect craft dodge and dive amongst the void; tails like scorpions, folding up from bodies; but do they drip poison? Nay; I fear some darker venom courses there. And on

"Stingers!"

The tail barbs open, missles gleaming in the darkness of the abyss; night, unfathomable and terrible as the dawn looms in solemn garb; wherer stars burn like pinpricks in the curtain, holes in the veil; tiny suns; so tiny, from here, gleaming like firelfies amongst the void. And the missles hurtle forth; the Brunnen G's honorable assault now turned to the Abh.

We bring you madness and pain; and shadows...Oh God, the Shadows The leader of the fighter assault whispers into the communications; an donce again the missles come; the cruel and thorned roses of the stars; unfolding now for these, the errant children; who know not their place in the Universe.

Akin to a red rain bombardment, but far more ferocious and destructive, the Fusion mines materialized mere meters from their targets and slammed into them like mass driver shells. The fusion mines would rip apart shields, hulls, and entire vessels with abandon.

However the mines Neo Zeta luanched were maybe not as deadly but they were deadly none the less. They would pound the shields of enemy ships and once those shields failed the mines that hit the ship after would rip it apart.

Neo Zeta also was expecting reinforcements soon.

Suddenly, all long-range radars in the system detected a large cluster of objects, heading straight towards the system at speed well beyond the speed of light. Before anyone could act upon this knowledge, a fleet numbering about a hundred battleship-class vessels materialized to the side and above Abh fleet.

“So these are Abh,” Rear Admiral Haruto muttered to himself, “One of the most renowned interstellar empires… I’ve always dreamt of facing them in battle.”

“Sir, they outnumber us at least ten to one!” his first lieutenant exclaimed, “We cannot possibly…”

“CANNOT?! I don’t know the meaning of this word! It will be quality that will bring us victory, not quantity that will cause our defeat! Besides, our orders come from Supreme Empress herself. We will give them a formal warning, and should the fail to heed it…”

Rear Admiral Haruto let the phrase hand, and sent transmission to Abh flagship.
This is 1st Strike Force of the Planet Jurai.

By an order of Her Imperial Majesty, Supreme Empress Ayeka of Jurai Royal Family, we are here to stop farther hostilities towards Kazecistan and their allies. Cease your attack immediately and withdraw your forces from this system, otherwise we must attack. This is your only warning.

Rear Admiral Haruto watched the larger enemy fleet as he waited for response; he already knew what it will be like, still, battle etiquette had to be followed.

Multiple ships were struck by the mines, many of those ships were only moderately damaged mainly there shields were weakened.

As for the barrage of other fire, several Fedral ships were destroyed (mainly small ones) burning husks of ships floated in to the dark void as the fleet covered all sides of the enemy with in seconds massively huge barrage of fire poured out of every ship, fire form all sides swiped the area.

Defiant class ships and saber class frigates moved in as fire poured, there extremely versatile close combat and fast attack capabilities doing them justice. Firing barrages of powerful phaser fire and quantum torpedoes they moved every witch way crisscrossing whooshing up down side to side attacking enemy ships with massive bombing runs.

Mean while the enterprise J rumbled along looming, ominously over the battle its massive type 21 mega phaser arrays charging up, targeting multiple enemy flag ships the massive arrays discharged with a massive force of energy, (the phasers on the J have a ½ power of the eclipse SSD super laser). As multiple beams ripped through space the massive bursts of crimson energy filling the dark void, the enterprise Unleashed another hellish barrage, this time its phase shift cannons, and transphaseiuc torpedoes , flew out towards enemy ships . The Enterprise J rushed in to battle its mega phasers and torpedo tubes blaring, along with its phase shift cannons, it unleashed yet another weapon as it swooped over the enemy flag ship, white hole torpedoes.

The Planet Jurai, I'd really rather keep this thread small, so do you mind leaving, at least until the next battle RP starts?
Neo Zeta, as you are already here and a major part of this, I'll allow you, but would you mind keeping the numbers lowish? Same for ABH.
HT, I think it will make for some good RPing to have a few of your ships here. You may need to stay on the other side of the battle, to avoid the wrath of the temperamental Kazecis.
Objections?

Let's roll!
Ic: The Kazeci SCs continued to pound it out at extremely close range, intent on total destruction. They traveled in packs of 4, entrapping and attacking any ships unlucky enough to be targeted. Weapons not capable of facing the target which had been surrounded were used to keep other ships at a distance while they beat upon the unlucky one in the middle. Such was the battle technique of the SCs. TSs would charge into the battle from afar in formations of 3 and 4, weapons blazing, only to pull back out while they recharged.

However, these mines that the Godulans sent out were not any ordinary mines. They didn't just sit around waiting to be shot down, oh no. These things completed transit already moving as fast as a mass driver shell.

Expending their munitions, entire sections of the massive cloud began to vanish, engulfing the enemy fleets in veritable mountains of mines. So many mines, moving so fast, without any time to react. Within a minute, the cloud was gone, having relocated into the enemy fleets with a fury of fusion blasts that could rip entire fleets asunder in one fell swoop.

Such had been the legacy of Thorn. Such had been taught to the Chronosians on parchments of scorched flesh and in ink of curdled blood. Such would now be taught to this... Triumvirate... not with Red Rain, but with Onslaught.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the first cloud was depleted, The Heighliner was already preparing to launch the second round. This new group, dubbed 'The Magnificent End' were very much unlike their counterparts. They sacrificed their massive fusion warhead in favor of a power core, a grav-flux engine, and a medium grade capital class flux cannon.

The second wave consisted not of mines, but of droneships.

As explosions continued to erupt throughout the enemy fleets, the second cloud formed up around the Heighliner, preparing for word to move.

ooc: TFU, sorry, we both posted at the same time. Here's more death for you!

Ic: The Kazeci ships were well protected from all angles, such was necessary for their fighting style, but too much concentrated in a short time or slightly more over the long term brought them to their knees. 2 TSs were lost on one of their runs and several others weakened severely. None of the capitol ships had been lost yet, the HBC's large formation and the SC's durability providing protection for the time being.

Ferzli felt the ship shutter as the police ship that had been following them was obliterated; it left behind little more than small debris, one of its reactors having overloaded. Briefly he felt sorrow, but it was shaken from him as his tactical officer spoke.
"We have the next target selected sir, that medium ship just ahead."
"That's one of their larger ones-" he trailed off in thought. "Alright, tell the formation to move in, full speed."
The four SCs surged forward, the blue beams trailing behind the result of their engines. They moved into position around the ship, Ferzli's ship on the left, one each on the top, bottom, and right. Torpedoes streaked through the close gap, their trails plainly visible. Each would fire a high powered Zat shot just before impact with the shields, in hopes of getting through. Missiles left strange winding trails as they sped towards the smallest of enemy ships. Once again the bright golden beams split the space between ships, using their massive power to cut and burn. Zat fire made a constant hail, draining shields.

When the ship attempted to speed away or out maneuver them, as it undoubtedly would, the EWC waves would be used to slam it back into place, jolting it violently. Ferzli felt pity for those in this ship as he watched it fight against superior numbers, feudally attempting to escape. He knew they would die. He soon filled with anger, hoping that those bastards would burn in whatever hell their foolish religion proclaimed.

And yet Ferzli was such a small part in this battle, his actions being repeated by commanders throughout the area.

ooc: I realize that the post may verge on posting your losses, but it was not intended as such and feel free to contradict what I say in the matter of trapping your ship, as you have final word.

Also note that although my losses are low now, once the battle goes on, they become exponential.

The Diminsonal Shields were weakned but most did not give way. Some of the Smaller ships did but the lessions Neo Zeta learned from The Gaians had readyed them for these tricks. And that is what they were tricks nothing more.

Koga smiled " Mines alone wont even prick our fleets. However we must not jump in there head first."

The Battlecruisers and Battleships begian Fireing their Diminsonal Cannons. They were fully capable of ripping apart battleships of lesser races with one shot. But Godular was no lesser race. They knew it would take a few hits to take them out but they would get the job done.

Meanwhile They fired their chaos missles over 600 of them at the Godular fleet. They looked very big and bulky for a missle. To those who never had seen them befor they would look like sitting ducks.. How wroung they would be.

Very soon after launch the ression for their size became apparent. They were equiped with Fold Drives. They folded in near the enemy ships. Some could still be stoped but many more were to close and would hit them dead on.

Okay, first thing's first. Ta point out a couple things real quick.

Bullshit, homeboy. You just got slapped in the face with the rough equivalent of fifteen Red Rain torpedos. That level of firepower was enough to knock out a very decent portion of Chronosia's fleet, at the battle of Thorn, with EASE.

Gaians Schmaians. We're a whole 'nuther ballgame.

And the same goes for you Abh. You have been struck with approximately the same amount of firepower. Unless you have shields that could enable your ships to wade through an enemy battle fleet focusing all fire on your vessels, and suffer nothing more than a momentary hull-heating, far more than a few vessels would have been turned into molten slag.

The Godulan Heighliner... ONE VESSEL, not a fleet, is resting at the very edge of the system. Its not firing a thing apart from launching massive numbers of Probability Jumping mines down your throats. See my first comment by the way.

Very soon after launch the ression for their size became apparent. They were equiped with Fold Drives. They folded in near the enemy ships. Some could still be stoped but many more were to close and would hit them dead on.

That's all well and good, but just remember, you've been ransacked first. And its only one vessel... one particularly expendable vessel... that is controlling the swarm. Really, y'all are just attacking a very large concrete tube.

Didn't I tell you we were a whole new ballgame? You're getting the crap kicked out of you by the merchant marine. The actual fleet hasn't even arrived yet.

You've been experimented on by one of the Godulan Superweapons.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

IC: The Heighliner had turned its massive bulk as enemy vessels began to focus somewhat more attention on it, so that the pilots would remain unharmed until the Godulan fleet arrived. Its shields were prodigious, and if need be, they could reduce the size of the field to better protect the habitation section. This they did, and the Heighliner's underside crumpled under the concentrated attacks, the wonderful thing about the underside though, was that it worked as a second shield. The missiles and cannonfire had to first punch through the thick concrete shell before breaching into the upper divisions and, finally, the habitation section.

"I really do wish those guys would freaking get here."

"So do I... waitaminute, I have transit completions, about twenty five AU out from the system. Holy hell those things are big!"

Need some help? came a rather light voice on the intercom.

"Glad to hear your voice General... ah... Arcturus!"

Give us a few seconds, we'll show these fools what it means to challenge us.

"Sending telemetry data now. Knock those schoolboys the hell out, and a second time for me, if ya don't mind."

OOC: Alright first things first, the idea of a concrete tube withstanding and nuclear blast is ridiculous. Why do you think castle walls were obsolute after the invention of gunpowder? And people wonder why they need to learn history. A concrete tube would be destroyed with just one hit from any of our mines.

Second, if you've thrown just 15 missles at me then I laugh at your definition of an Uber weapon. The Abh have been fighting mine battles on larger scale for a far greater time. With this experience comes improvement in tech. Their point defenses are immacculate. This doesn't mean they are perfect and that's why a few ships can be destroyed. If you are going to fight a mine battle then you have to be prepared for it. The hulls are reinforced so that if a mine does connect and detonate then damage is superficial and takes more than one mine to do the job on a Patrolship. Each ships is eqiupped with numerous laser turrets to fend off an attack.

So before you start crying "no fair", you better do a little more research. I'll wait for an IC post when things return to sanity.

Truespace, ETA to Kazecistan Battle, four minutes

A shimmering light was shown in Truespace, as the small fleet sped through it, the tunnel, half-collapsed, being painstakingly cleared again by the mighty engines of the twin ships, and their followers. Only twelve ships sped through Truespace this time, but the Admiral had no doubt they would be sufficient to deal with the puny fleets assayed against them; the cardboard fleets, they were as ants to the might of the Soul of the Galaxy, the mightiest dreadnought the League had to offer. Streamlined, black, slim, yet deadly, it was doubtful that the enemy could, in any way, destroy it. The nigh-instantaneous FTL engines, added to the six layers of shielding, well, it was indeed a ship to be reckoned with.

The other eleven were Warcruisers, large ships, each over a kilometre long, but nothing compared to the three-kilometre long dreadnought, indeed, he was chuckling, thinking about the Finance Minister, who would probably be sitting in a corner, crying, because of the sheer cost of these ships.

He was slightly worried he was going to be outnumbered, but he dismissed it as mere pre-battle worries. The pitiful fleets he had seen could barely stop a single Godulan merchant ship, with all their 'vaunted' power, let alone a true ship of the line.

"Admiral, we are leaving Truespace. All weapons powered, and ready to fire on your mark. We will exit Truespace in firing range of the outskirts of the enemy fleet."

"Very good, AI. Are the Stinger Units prepared? Are the Devastators likewise prepared? We need Kazecistan, at the moment, as their loyalty to the Republic gives them credit, and, indeed, when can such loyalty go unrewarded? Indeed, if the Republic falls, they make seek shelter within the Iron Fist. If not, we gain a valuable ally, and manage to deal damage to the traitorous and wretched Fedral Union and Abh.

Message to Union, and Abh.

"You have ignored multiple warnings to leave, and you will now die. Furthermore, your entire misbegotten races will be exterminated, leaving no trace behind. You have attacked the peoples of the League, for no reason, and with no warning, and now, your pitiful fleets will be swept aside; the planets whom gave you birth will be burnt unto the ground, and what cries of mercy you may have left will be ignored, as we brutally exterminate the last of your warmongering races. Kazecistan, these pitiful insects have annoyed us, and so we have pledged our help to you. Their dreams of conquest have now fallen short, an entire Allied Fleet is prepared to help you, although they are a long way from here. Our only request is that you help us hunt down these traitorous, pathetic fleas, and treat them as they deserve...

The fleet of twelve ships appeared, firing no weaponry, as if they expected the enemy fleets should run. Indeed, they were quite right in their expectations. Of course, if my enemy is stupid, more power to him....

"Darth Vicious merely laughs at the spectacle of the Brunnen attack. "They really don't have to try to show us that they have no idea what they are doing. Activate point defenses. Shoot all missles down and send attack vessels in to destory the insects."

Hundreds of Attack vessels struck out at the swarm firing their anti-proton cannons and using laser turrets to shoot down any missles. They divided into groups of 5 to pick off individuals and utterly destroy them."

Less ooc and more Ic = good.

OOC: Godular, amazing as it may sound, RPed these well. He gave you plenty of warning, indeed, he stood there for 3-4 posts, simply 'summoning' these mines. Lookit this little equation

Firing time/number of cannons*disadvantage = Effectiveness. For instance, his firing time was very long, so you can forgive him for having 'ubermines'. You, however, Abh, just have a crapload of mines fired instantly, with nothing worth mentioning, blah blah. Essentially, you're just crying because you didn't fire on the Heighliner earlier, and now decide "OMG-I-FERGOT-TO-HIT-ITI-NOW-IGNORED-IT-LAWL-LAWL-I-AM-KEWL-RPER"
Yup, that's basically what you did. I saw the battle of Thorn, Godular did some pretty damn cool stuff there, as well as RPing it well (Something just about everyone in this thread is failing to do), and I have no doubt that you're just ignoring this because, like a 3 year old, you don't want to lose.Well, guess what. Nobody does. I don't want to lose, TFU doesn't want to lose, Godular doesn't want to lose, Kazec certainly doesn't want to lose. But, if you find yourself outsmarted, then you take losses, and you admire the cleverness of the person doing the attack. You certainly don't go "OMG! ME LIKEZ TRO WIN! ME TAKZE NO DMAGGE LAWL LAWL LAWL"

The Battlecruisers and Battleships begian Fireing their Diminsonal Cannons. They were fully capable of ripping apart battleships of lesser races with one shot. But Godular was no lesser race. They knew it would take a few hits to take them out but they would get the job done.

To quote Godular, "bullshit, homeboy". NZ, you're not a good RPer. You simply have no idea that effort=damage, overall. The effort you put into an RP should ALWAYS equal what other people get out of it. You've done a one-liner, no description, and there's no reason whatsoever anyone should even accept this weapon, let alone be destroyed by them. Either start writing your RPs with descriptions (Hell, I don't care if they're GOOD, I just want to see that you actually care about RPing, that you want to give the time to make your RPs good, that alone wins you respect), or risk having your dimensional cannons be hit with a post like this.

"Admiral, we've taken approximately 1% shield damage. Seven of those pitiable 'dimensional cannons' hit us, but we're fine. The shield damage should take about two seconds to regenerate, so it's not a problem. However, they do make me feel rather ticklish when they hit, so if we could destroy those little cannons, I'd feel a lot better, y'know.

Now, you don't want that, do you? You're simply being annoying, now, and, OOCly, I'm tempted to bring this little alliance down around your ears. ICly, of course, my nation is slightly cowardly, but I doubt you can defeat me without Chronosian support, so either start putting the effort in, or watch your attacks do nothing, please.

The Akira class ships shielding was only down to 65% (its hull integrity was down to 90% ) as it was being fired upon, as the federal fleet continued to out flank, and match the enemy maneuvers pouring fire from all sides.

The ship that was trying to be trapped maneuvered rather quickly firing multiple beams of phaser fire in several directions at the enemy ships, very precise beams of crimson yellowish orange fire flew out of the phaser arrays.
Mean while the enterprise targeted, multiple ships and fired again anti capital ship mega phasers flew out of its arrays towards enemy heavy ships. Massively powerful crimson orange beams of fire charged up and fired ,again and again.

Anti time beam cannons fired white beams of fire distorting space and item as they went along, phase shift cannons blared out, as white whole torpedoes and quantum torpedoes flew out in rapid fire volleys

(well once you get my ships shields down they basically suck because they don’t have good armor ST is beyond armor, so when ships shields are down they are dead, same goes with mine but it takes a while to drain my shields.)

If we could create a combined FTLi field, we could easily obliterate these pitiful ships, not to mention our Anti-Anti-FTLi field, which will keep the TFU ships here, long enough for us to unleash a weapon we have already used on them, much to their dismay."

The sleek ships opened several small, lithe ports on their sides, tiny cannons protuding, and yet, they did not fire. Large cannon ports began to open, the long, powerful Ripper cannons aimed directly at the enemy fleets, and yet, they did not fire. The fleet itself was small, compared to the raging mass above them, and several misdirected shots dispersed themselves on the benign blue glow of the shielding, yet they did not fire.

They simply stood there, as, unnoticed, the underside of the Soul of the Galaxy, as the Abh shots rained downwards, nearly there, nearly there, they were about to hit! But they hit nothing. The ships were no longer there. Heralded by a blue flash, the ships were suddenly far above the Abh ships, as the fire rained down uselessly into a nebula, far away.

The Admiral chuckled, and opened a commlink to the Abh. "Would you like to try that again, little one? Perhaps you may have more success, next time? I think not. Why don't you simply go home, and cry to your mother?"

The Admiral closed it, and chuckled again. The foolish Abh and Union had forgotted one thing; a small fleet was far more manueverable than a large one. If needed, he could snap around their ankles for years, simply firing when they least expected it, and travelling far away from their puny wrath.

Still chuckling, he opened fire, hundreds of tiny blue bolts travelling down to the mass of ships below, aimed in dispersion, to simply annoy the enemy fleets, he knew his bolts weren't especially powerful; they weren't designed to be. However, the severe itching feeling anyone inside those ships got as a result of those bolts would be well worth it, especially with his mocking laugh still echoing in their ears...

He suddenly looked down, and saw the Neo Zeta fleet explode in a mass of methane, their ugly bodies flying everywhere. Oh well, they were useless gits, anyways. He didn't really care. He hummed a little tune, and continued to fight, the merry little tune echoeing through his head...

It had taken several days, but they were finally there. The Nirsian reinforcements to the Kazeci, 15 starships, all fresh and ready to defend the Kazeci from the Federal Union and their allies.

They slipped into the system, taking their warp drives offline and activating full impulse power to make their way towards the battle. They broadcasted a message to the Kazeci, as well as all other Republic nations and allies in the area.

We're here, where's the fire mates?

The sleek vessels split up and started firing their torpedoes and blasters at the enemy ships. The long red beams of energy emerging from the Nirsian starships and sliding along the shields of the enemy.

Now let's see the Kazeci complain about taking on the enemy alone.

OOC: Ummm... I didn't attack you... but anyways.

IC: Doron gritted his teeth and clenched his fists as the bolts rained down on the ships. "Those bastards. Tell all Frontlineships to hold their fire. Send the Attack vessels to engage the warcruisers. They want to try and annoy us, lets see how they handle small gunships. Tell them to use the anti-proton cannon. They'll have to get close to even be effective but it will keep them busy. I want the Patrolships to lock on their fleet. If they remain stationary, tell them to open fire with their electromagnetic rifles."

250 attack vessels screeched off to attack the newly arrived enemy fleet. Patrolships fired at the fleet if for no better reason to remind the enemy that they are still there. The other half of the attack vessels were still busy engaging the brunnen ships.

Patrolships began to fan out and circle around the enemy vessels to keep them from darting around and avoiding attacks.

OOC: I LIEKZ! As I have said, description = damage. You just won yourself a nice big juicy engine asplosion, m'boy.

Not a single Abh vessel backed away. One dreadnought may be more powerful than any ship that they possessed but sheer numbers could bring it down. A slugg fest isn't the most artistic way to fight but whatever works.

I'm assuming you were aiming at my dreadnought then.

IC: "Sir, they're attempting to engage us at close range. I have no doubt we can take 'em, but the third engine's showing an anomaly in the shield... wait! What's that?!

The huge warcruiser had smaller vessels darting around it, annoying it, prodding it, firing again, and again. The excellent point-defense cannons would make short work of that, he thought...

"SIR! WE NEED TO GET OUT!"

The Admiral jerked upwards from his chair, and spoke quickly. "Damnit, what's happening. You have my permission to get out, and get out quickly. Move over to the 'left' side of the enemy, and continue these tactics, ok?"

Then, in the momentary millisecond in which the green flash appeared, a single shot from an Abh ship, normally not enough to scar the armour, hit one of the engine funnels....

A crackling of green energy was heard, and, as all the ships suddenly appeared again on the other side of the enemy, the sparkling energy ran down a Warcruiser's engine, and.... exploded. The safeguards kept the ship safe, but a huge funnel of multicoloured fire ripped out of the engine, pouring into the blackness of space. The engine gave a weak splutter, the insides totally ravaged by the explosion, and died. Although each of the ships had three engines, the severe internal damage, mainly to a lower shield generator, could prove the ship's death, here.

The Admiral swore, and damned himself for underestimating his enemy. He reminded himself, again and again, that technology didn't win wars, intelligence did. And, he must admit, he had shown remarkably little of that of late.

He opened a comm with his damaged Warcruiser, and began to speak rapidly, his voice layered with anger and self-loaithing. "Damnit! Move into Truespace! Guide the fleet here! We can't afford to lose one of these, it'll be my neck! Begin implementing the secondary Auxilith engine at once, I need this ship back on the double.

He swore again, and then gave new orders, ones detailing precisely what the fleet was to do. "If they get close to us, get away. Activate the short-range FTLi generators, so no FTL missiles or smaller ships warp in on us, and continue moving. We want to deal damage in a ratio of 20:1, and I want it done NOW!"

The fleet truly opened fire, this time, huge blue bolts, crackling purple spheres of energy, no missiles, kinetic weaponry was too crude, and far too slow, to be of any effectiveness, and FTL missiles were expensive, however, the Admiral simply used the basis of probability for his hitting, there were so many ships, no matter how many times they dodged, he had a high likelihood of hitting something...

OOC: Who are you talking to?

Sorry HT. I'm a little slow at typing and yes I am targeting your dreadnaughts
IC: Doron saw the arrival of the new Starships and began to worry about fighting on two fronts. "I want all Frontlineships to prepare for a volley against the Nirs. Have all Patrolships to watch their backs. Keep the radar active."

The Frontlineships prepared a volley of mines to launch at the 15 ships. Hundreds of mines were launched into the enemy leaving blue anti-matter trails behind them.

Doron turned back around to look at the tactical display map. His eyes went wide but a smile spread over his face. "So they are going to stop playing and are going to fight. Excellent. I want all patrolships to open fire immediately. They have permission to use their supply of mines."

Communications officer looked at the Sith. "Sir! We've just lost both our escorts!"

"What?! I want all forward turrets to open fire at once. Pick off the dreadnaughts first. Once they are gone we can swarm the bigger sucker."

10 Patrolships went down in a blaze of glory from the first assault. 5 attack vessels were lost to their point defenses. The remaining Patrolships continued to tighten the ring.

The small ships, which were dwarfed by the other ones in the area but not necesarrily weaker, spread out, and attempted to dodge all the heavy fire coming from the enemy. The small fire was inevitably hard to avoid, but the torpedoes, missiles and mines were different.

The crystalin skin which enwrapped the ships glowed as each hit against the vessels was absorbed by the shielding, tho, with the shielding being so close to the actual hull, the ships shook from the force of the blasts that resulted.

The small starships started doing what they knew how to do, and started skimming the surfaces of the larger enemy craft, their blaster beams sliding along with them on the enemy vessels. The torpedoes being launched at that close would be assured hits, but then, there could be the odd misfunction that would send one of course, or the enemy defenses would take them out.

"Status report!" yelled Captain Orik to his crew onboard the Deviant.

"Captain," came the voice of the science officer, "The battle seems to be more or less even at the moment. Perhaps our involvement will tip the tides for the Kazeci and enable them to repel the invaders."

"Excellent, Peace to the Republic!" Orik said proudly.

The reply from the rest of the small crew on the bridge came back in unison, "Glory to the Protectorate!"

(HT how dose your FTLI work.. because my current drive nullifies all gravity based FTLI’s )

OOC: It's fairly basic, actually. Based on studies known of enemy ships (Such as yours, Abhs, and just about anyone who's fought me and used FTL within range of my scanners), it nullifies the energy transmission used to make the jump into FTLi, because, when the ship makes the jump into the Warp, Hyperspace, whatever form of FTL you use, the field immediately either ignites the energy, damaging the FTL engines severely, nullifies it, via electron-stilling, or reverses the neutron-proton relationship (Note: This all comes out of my head. I'm definitely not a scientist.), and thereby cancels FTL. However, it is effective against all forms of known FTL, but it does eat up energy at a progidous rate. I can generally only afford to keep it on for a matter of a minute or so, unless it's planet-based.

Kazecistan responded to HT with reluctance, realizing that they needed them weather they liked it or not. We possess limited FTLi capability. It destabilizes large energy build ups causing the jump to become random in destination, though it is rarely powerful enough to actually stop a ship from jumping. It has yet to be tested on all but a few jump techs.

The usual battle plan was failing for the Kazeci ships and it was quickly growing apparent as they were repeatedly struck by powerful weapons. The third ship in Ferzli's formation was missing a good chuck of the bow, it's shielding becoming erratic as it tried to compensate for the abnormal shape. Some of the ships who had taken more substantial fire began to lock down, becoming stationary weapons platforms and hoping that the ship's sheer mass would protect its core, where the bridge and fire control resided. These were the last moments before death. Massive chunks of hull floated through space, probably containing at least a few pressurized areas with life, but their life support would soon run out.

A new plan was enacted. The weakest of the ships in the battle were painted, their signals becoming magnets. The Kazeci ships plotted random courses through the battle, looping around indefinably. When one of the pointed ships came into range it was immediately fired upon with all available weapons. In this manor, the Fedral ships would be exterminated; everywhere they went being constantly fired upon by Kazeci forces. Golden Ion beams lashed out at two-minute intervals, tracking their targets mid-shot. Zats continued to slowly drain enemy shields with their numbers while SPPTs attempted to penetrate the shields and deliver their Photon torpedoes directly to the hulls of their targets, aiming for maximum structural damage. Torpedoes were of little use, as they were out maneuvered by the faster Fedral ships until they had no fuel. As such they were used only on ships who's engines had been disabled.

But now it was the time of the fighter. From all of the carriers issued fourth drone bombers, drone heavy fighters, and drone light fighters. They traveled in fives, controlled by pilots on board one of the carriers. They strafed and made bombing runs. The double-hulled bombers were smaller than normal fighters due to the fact that they needed no life support. They were fast and agile, releasing deadly plasma through their duel heavy plasma cannons and using their PD zats for defenses. The Light Drone Fighters were of little use, even before they expended their 4 small missiles, as there were no enemy fighters in the area, but they did draw fire from the bombers, which was what mattered. The heavy drone fighters, on the other hand, carried two anti capitol torpedoes each, which were used to deadly effect when released at close range. This plague of smaller ships was used to dominate one section of the battlefield. It moved and spread like a swarm of insects, schooling together and stinging in masses. Hopefully the targets were allergic.

ooc: Thank you for the stats on your impressive ship. Last I saw it was discussing tea time though...

Could you possibly move towards the military station and perhaps board it? It would make for a sort of ground war. (don't worry, no super weapons on it, in fact, nothing you haven't seen already.) I suggest moving for one of the small craft bays (huge actually, you could fit one or two of your ships in) as it will be much easier than cutting through the hull.

IC: Probe 114687

The small probe (http://well-of-souls.com/homeworld/hws/hw2/images/display.htm?demo_090303_03.jpg) that was in the near system, known simply as probe 114687, picked up urgent signals from Kazeci registered ships, and send back a single transmission: 'Signal Detected'

Defense Station Sjet, Hiigaran-Controlled Space, Hiigara

The day was slow as the time wore on. Barely seventy ships had come in this day, and the traffic controllers were entertaining themselves with games at the moment, as the next arrival of ships wasn't due for another three hours. Then a single transmission came in: 'Probe 114687 detecting Kazeci SOS'

The man at the control station immediately stopped what he was doing as he watched the message repeat: 'Probe 114687 detecting Kazeci SOS'.

"What do we do?" he asked his superior, who was also staring at it by now.

"Get in touch with the Diamid," he said back.

Fourty Minutes Later

"Roger that command, jump clearance is green," said the same controller.

Ic: A voice came across secured channels to the HiigarensGlad to have ya! Tactical analysis shows that you and your fleet will be of most use against the Fedral ships, fighting alongside the Kazeci. Minimal protection is available for your carrier if it joins up in formation with ours, as they seem to be receiving little fire and appear to dominate at least that section of the battle. The Habitation module had detached from the shattered Heighliner and iterated out to meet the Godulan fleet that had just arrived in-system, but not after activating the signal to send the massive cloud of Flux Cannon Drones swarming into both enemy fleets.

The drones themselves materialized within the largest concentrations of enemy vessels, but these were far more maneuverable than the simple Fusion mines that had been brought out initially. They took almost random movements, launching volleys of cannonfire at enemy vessels in order to capitalize on their weakened shields and distracted nature. Indeed, it seemed that now each of the enemy fleets was engulfed in a veritable swarm of black spheroid bees that zipped about hither and yon with tremendous agility.

As for the Godulan fleet, as soon as the Heighliner's pilots were on board, the fleet prepared to move in, charging up weapons and shields, and a special present for the Fedral Union vessels, locked in combat even now.

As if in unison, the entire fleet, several hundred Mako Star Destroyers, all told, iterated directly into the midst of the enemy, launching massive salvos from their main cannons, focusing their fire into single points on enemy vessels in order to magnify the damage a full ten fold. As soon as they materialized they were moving, bucking and weaving with a quickness that would have startled any fighter pilot right into his grave. Launching their capital class Flux Cannons do most of the work, while phase torpedos and Protium Arc Disintegrators laid waste to enemy vessels.

Godulan fighter craft slammed into the fray as well, materializing in the same manner as the Godulan Makos, and leveling withering barrages of rapid cannon fire to knock out any enemy fighters, or switching to charged shots to make strikes against their larger foes.

And finally, as if things weren't bad enough already, three massive vessels came into existence a small distance away from the battle, moving towards the Fedral fleet. The Archonal Command Ship Apocalyptus and its two Widowmaker Siege Dreadnoughts Demonwing and Diamondeye deployed their missile bays and launched a full salvo of very special torpedos against the Fedral vessels.

Tachyon Torpedos had been invented by the Godulans more than a score of years before this day, and had a singular purpose in war: Turn the enemy's shields against them.

The concept was quite simple. A torpedo designed to fire off a directed surge of Tachyon radiation at its target upon detonation, simple in design, devastating in effect. Tachyons are typically harmless, simply passing through vessels and people without their knowing about it in every sense of the phrase. Upon incidence with any form of energy shield, however, or even those that supposedly muck about with space-time, the beam of Tachyons essentially 'redshifts' into a burst of high-energy plasma, essentially turning an otherwise harmless beam of non-interacting particles into an energy bolt equivalent to a heavy turbolaser round.

It was a wonderful weapon indeed, but often found itself rarely used due to the fact that most enemy vessels have enough armor that a single bombardment wouldn't make much difference...

But not today... now, a new cloud of missiles struck out at the Fedral fleet...

Ic: The Kazeci vessels moved away from where the Godulans had appeared, their ships becoming closer together and thus even more effective against the painted ships. As one flew it's agile course, it was repeatedly struck by the powerful golden ion beams which followed its movements mid-shot. Each ship it passed discharged at least one of their ion cannons along with a hail of other fire. The ship appeared to be a magnet, attracting countless colorful lights to its shielding. The red shield piercing photon torpedoes, bluish purple Zat fire, golden beams, and the white tails of torpedoes. A swarm of Kazeci drone bombers made repeated runs on the ship, pelting it with heavy plasma shots while guarded by drone fighters. That ship was deemed the weakest, and as such it attracted the most fire. No matter where it turned, it would receive devastating blows from all directions. In other areas of the battle, other weak ships recived the same treatment.

The fleet began to attempt to heard and draw the TFU ships towards the station, hoping that it’s weapons, while no better than theirs, would still be of aid. They also hoped that this would not lead to its being boarded or captured.

OOC: Nirs, could you post something about your ships and who you are attacking? My ships aren't uber huge so your post may not add up to what would really happen. Thanks.

IC: The bloody Godular onslaught again thinned out the Patrolship ranks. The fire from the Drones' cannons were absorbed by the shields but the fact that they slammed into the ships themselves was what caused massive damage. Point defenses lit up space with blue fire streaking out everywhere trying to take down the Drones. So many ships were damaged in the attack. Smoke from ships could be seen all over the battlefield and about 15 Patrolships were destroyed in the attack.

Through the rain of death, the Patrolship ring held around the HT fleet as they maintained their fire on the ships. Attack Vessels continued their strafing runs. This time focusing on important engine locations and anything that might bring their shields down.

Fedral Fire power increased a several smaller ships and 2 medium ships were knocked out . Phobos class torpedo ships shifted in to position and fire long range mega torpedoes (basically slow but very powerful missiles that produce a heavy shock wave).

The missile flew in several detonating as the fleet pressed on increasing in are a as it takes in new stations and ships to surround, the enemy fleet was surrounded by federal ships at this point.

Phaser fire and torpedo fire poured out like a massive fire works light show thousands upon thousands of beams and pulses of various fire filled the dark void of space with light.

Mean while ships that were hit were either destroyed completely or heavily damaged floating in space, dead and burring there hulls charred.

Mean while federal ships armed multiple Quad cobalt torpedo volleys flew out federal torpedo tubes heading towards the massive enemy capital ships, Blue white pulses of fire barely stood out upon the other array of colors and light, however these torpedoes were meant to kill capital ships utterly destroy or damage even the largest capital ships a fleet could throw at it, but these torpedo’s were useless against small ships.

A strange black mist began to flow throughout the battlefield, along with fake Mako images that moved about and even mimiced firing on enemy vessels, courtesy of holoprojectors on the Godulan Makos, combined with signature fabrications that would work to confound enemy sensors and prevent visual identification

The Apocalyptus and its escorts, not intending to give the Fedral forces one iota of recovery time, continued their assault, focusing on ships of the line and other critical vessels. The Makos engaging the Fedral fleet joined in as well, using their own agility to get into close range with the enemy vessels, so that when they launched a full salvo of torpedos, little to no time existed to dodge or strike down the projectiles.

At the same time, the colossal Archonal Command and both of its escorts commenced focus fire upon the Fedral vessels, slamming anything that even remotely looked like a major contributor with full broadside strikes.

"Charge up those weapons! I want every ounce of juice our Death Darts can give us! I want that allied task force half dead before we even USE the damn things! Be ready to give them everything on my mark!"

The pinecone shape of the Archonal Command Ship shimmered slightly as more and more power from its passenger ships fed into it. The Kython Death Darts that now made a mainstay of the structure of every Archonal Command were rigged to provide massive levels of additional power to feed into shields, weapons, and even motility.

As the shields themselves began to crackle with excess energy, General Arcturus said one word: "Pulverize."

The Archonal Command Ship shifted its focusing of all main batteries against primary vessels and instead switched into a secondary mode where several charged batteries focused on their targets like a magnifying glass, giving the normally dull blue hue of the Flux Cannon bursts a vibrant electric glow. As the cannon blasts converged on their respective targets, they generated a strange rippling sphere of space that seemed to crack and break into pieces. These 'Shatterspace Anomalies' as the Godulans called them, derived their effective size from the amount of energy poured into the shattering mechanism, in this case the Flux Cannons. A typical flux cannon blast created an explosion maybe a few dozen meters in diameter. A combined strike by six or more supercharged flux cannons? Easily enough to engulf a medium sized vessel and rip it to pieces.

The primary weapon the Widowmakers utilized were Protium Arc Disintegrators, firing bursts of malevolent purplish blue energy that sucked energy away from shields and tore molecular bonds apart and promptly detonated in secondary explosions that only served to kick the enemy while they were down. The bursts from these cannons actually had limited seeking capability, adjusting their approach against an enemy vessel with the assistance of the guiding arc that provided the actual weapon lock.

And as usual, the Makos continued their onslaught against the enemy entire, matching the Fedral vessels shot-for-shot in melee, and letting their psionically enhanced shields take the brunt of the enemy counterattacks. The enemy fire was quite powerful, but the Godulans were fresh to this battle, with their weapons, shields, and holoprojectors fully charged and ready, while the enemy fleets had taken a beating from Kazeci allied forces as well as the surprisingly destructive efforts of the now-ruined-yet-not-really-much-of-a-loss Heighliner.

However, even with all this, a couple Godulan Makos found themselves picked out well enough to be subject to combined fire strong enough to shatter their shields and compromise their hull. As per standard procedure, the two Makos activated their Self Destruct Bombs and charged the nearest enemy flagship. A plasmatic pulse bomb in the energy core of each Mako enabled them to give a final 'screw you!' to any who would dare to defeat them, and upon collision with the enemy vessel, the bomb, a souped up Protium Disintegration surge, would vaporize the vessel, and take the enemy vessel it just rammed with it.

One of the 'mega torpedoes' sped for Commander Ferzli's ship. A quick, sharp alarm shattered the dull ones that constantly wailed. It all happened so quickly, yet it seemed an eternaty. Shouts went out through the massive bridge. sensors platform reports incoming torpedo, it's big! Evasive action!... The dazzling white light came closer to the ship, unable to miss. Being pulverized by the MPSing of the mighty ship, it detonated some distance off the hull, and that was all that saved him. The powerful shockwave slammed into the port side of the ship, crumpling its armor like a tin can. Loud groans could be heard as the empty hallways and rooms on the outer portion of the ship were crushed in, the shockwave still caring yet more power. It rushed inwards until it had pressed to the ships core, four massive rooms, one of which was the bridge. People were thrown from their feet, out of their chairs, and across the floor. Ferzli could hear people calling for med teams as his vision blurred to black. Music began to play, a mournful and deeply emotional tune in his head. He was swept back, out of the ship, he could see the battle, the faces of those pour souls who were dieing, the best made plans of mice and men. He coud see how meaningless it all was, the suffering, the pain. He was powerless to do anything but watch.

"Sir, they are within weapons range, and closing fast!" Soon the enemy fleet would surround the Kazeci military outpost. Its weapons began to lash out viciously, cutting and burning with such hate that it would strike fear into almost anyone. Lethal ion cannons fired at three times their normal rate of once every two minutes. Between 4 and 8 of them would converge on the weakest point of a single ship's shield. They went for the medium and large ships, as did the Kazeci SCs. SPPTs on the station carried twice their normal range and were able to fire more often due to the immense power supply. Their red beams parting shields and delivering photon torpedoes directly to the ship's hull. The hail of rapid zat fire was parted only by the presence of a Kazeci ship, wildly pounding anything not of Kazeci or allied origin. Ships, missiles, and fighters that came close enough were repelled by EWC waves.

Massive bay doors yawned open revealing massive interior bays with many decks stacked like shelves and protected by shielding. Kazeci drone fighters poured out like hornets from a hive, engulfing and stinging repeatedly the weakest prey. The Kazeci carrier formation moved over to the station, becoming more of a blob than sphere. They used all the weapons of a SC, just in lesser numbers, and their hulls appeared almost identical from the outside. The TSs, though lacking 23 of their companions, continued to make runs at their foes, unleashing their payloads to deadly effect.

"Aye aye, sir, plotting course now. Engines nswer flank speed."

The ships lurched as it hummed alive. The engines spun-up as the mighty vessel, a full three kilometers in length, lurched forward at an ever-growing speed. The massive hangar of the ships was also coming to life as the swarms of fighters and corvettes within were activated, and piloted out under emergency scramble procedures. The four mighty Destroyers formed up in a box formation, and the six Flak Frigates made a crude sphere around the entire formation as Strikecraft poured out.

IC: Ten Minutes Later

"Form up in front of the Kazeci line, hold formation. Slow speed to one-third."

"Yes sir, slowing speed to one-third, keeping her steady as she goes."

"Tell the Strikecraft squadrons to open up on the enemy!"

The Strikecraft, which had been silently waiting behind the Kazeci line, suddenly burst through it like Jackie Chan through stage glass as they moved in, targeting their preferred targets; Interceptors, true to their name, intercepted enemy fighters, moving in for close-dog fighting where they could slice enemies apart with their fast-firing autocannons, Bombers targeting precious sub-systems on large enemy vessels such as engines, hangars, and bridges. Gunships moved in to provide cover for the bombers, picking to pieces any smaller craft that would dare target them, and the Pulsars careened forth, thirsty for blood, hunting the larger ships with their deadly pulsar beams.

The previous docile Destroyers now turned broadside to their enemy, and although they stayed in formation, they opened up their cannons and torpedo tubes, launching firepower that had devastated many a ship larger than their one kilometer size, with enough accuracy to hit the occasional unlucky fighter if they so pleased. But for the moment, they were content with the larger enemy vessels. The Flak Frigates, on the other hand, loved to massacre strikecraft. Their powerful cannons lit-up, porpelling forth shells that shotgunned strikecraft down with black plasma, filling the sky of space with their fire.

All the time, a single message was sent to Kazeci forces: 'The calvary has arrived.'

OOC: Sorry for crappy/late post, but my internet is down, and I'm typing this during marketing ed. Post to hopefully come tommarrow.

A few seconds passed, just then a massive fleet jumped in it was very different. From the other ones, the largest ship in the fleet were 3 Gettysburg-class Mega dreadnoughts measuring over 3500 M in length these massive ships carried tons of weapons. The large ship fleet gleamed along the stars as it rumbled in to battle its engines slightly pushing the ships along its shields activated.

150 Eagle-class Heavy missile cruisers
10 Nimitz class CVDF" Carrier vehicle dark fusion
50 Washington –class Light battle cruiser

With in seconds the fleet opened up there massive dark fusion cannons firing in massive volleys, beams of dark fusion fire and dark fusion pulses spread across the system, the volley of massively powerful fire power was followed buy another and another now photon cannons Massively huge barges of ZPE missals anti matter cannons, Gluon and Dark neutron fire from the Dreadnought.

"Sir, we're under heavy attack. Main fleet inbound ETA twelve minutes. We're losing shields faster than we should be, I'm advising a Sphere Blast, and a jump out."

The Admiral sighed. Again, he had forgotten the effect sheer masses of firepower can have on ships, irrelevant of whether they're hi-tech, polished ships worth trillions, or rusty tin buckets, shields don't last forever. His were doing an exceptionally good job of it, but still...

"Ok, fire a Sphere Blast. Damnit. I was hoping to at least fully charge it before we fired, but now, we need it more than ever."

(OOC: Essentially, a Sphere Blast is just like it sounds. A sphere expanding outwards, ripping apart everything it hits, when it's fully charged. I'm assuming a half-charged blast should at least heavily damage your Patrolships, depending on where they are, seeing as it's essentially my OMGUBRWEPPN, however, it takes a long time to charge. It probably won't do more than a little bit of shield damage in the main battle below, as it loses power the further it goes.)

From the warcruiser, a glowing white bead of light appeared, slowly expanding, at first. However, within a second, the ship could not be seen for the glowing light, and it began to rush, faster and faster, outwards, enroaching on the patrolships surrounding the League ships...

OOC: I thought this took awhile to charge up? In any case they aren't that close. You'll probably destroy more attack vessels than anything. I was just making sure you couldn't manuever your bigger ships.

IC:Energy spikes were being ready on the Night Hawk. Doron didn't know what it possibly was but he wanted his fleet away from them immediately. "All ships, break ranks and rendezvous behind the Frontlineships! Move your a@#es now!"

The night hawk was relatively out of the battle in the first place so it could give orders. Several Attack vessels were destroyed because of their close proximity to the ships. The rear line of Patrolships were also losing their shields in a hurry from the Sphere. All engines were sent to maximum to help get them the bloody hell out of there.

"I want a volley of mines to be ready once this Sphere Blast passes us." He looked back as ship reached the rendezvous point. "Bravo. Bravo. I'll acknowledge that bold move. Next time we will monitor your energy readings more closely."

ooc: No, you didn't kill my main character (Ferzli), in case anyone wanted to know.

Ic: Years Later

Ferzli sat up in a relatively dark room. There were three people standing over him. For a moment, he was bewildered.
"You are back on Kazac, you were pulled from the history lessen."
After a moment, he replied. "No! You can't just leave it like that! Put me back in, finish it!"
"We can't, not now that it has happened. The program was designed to have that feeling at it's end, one that provokes thought and instills certain values. Going back would ruin the ending, thus setting you back in your education quite a ways."
"I have to go back! He lives, I know it! I need to se the rest of the battle!"
"You can read the rest. It's all in text."
"It's not the same! I must go back!"

After much more insistency, he was allowed back in.
______________________________

Ferzli awoke in the med bay, his head throbbing and his leg numb. He attempted to sit up, but was forced to lay down. "Not until we're done with you you don't." Soon another ship came by, picking up all but a skeleton crew. This striped down crew would run the ship as a stationary weapons platform until it was destroyed or the battle won. Ferzli was taken to command another vessel.

OOC: I wrote about charging up a weapon in one of my earlier posts. And I meant the ones that were in close proximity to my ships, sorry if I posted the wrong type of ship.

IC: "It's gone, sir."

"Very good, engage the engines".

The fleet, heralded by (what else?) a blue flash, disappeared, appearing once again, far to the 'left' of the enemy. They were somewhat battered, now, their appearance less grand, yet still deadly.

"Well, captain, it appears we'll have to wait for a long time to get an efficient Sphere Blast up again, eh? Ok, here's the strategy. As soon as they get into range, with their smaller ships, open fire, and, if they're getting within range of us, move. We don't want to get into a pitched battle, we'd lose horribly."

The ships' weapons were firing once more, hundreds of cannons over every ship firing again, and again, their blue blasts and green, the occasional sphere of red energy crackling down towards the enemy, and the very, very occasional missile being fired into the midst of the enemy, after all, there were so many of them, the chances of hitting were, it must be admitted, very high.

"Well, I want you to target Fedral ships above all, reduce fire on Abh ships by 92%. We've just recieved reports that the Abh may be joining the ESUS, from spies in the Abh nation. I'm assuming it wasn't very secret knowledge, as our spies have a bitch of time getting into a restaurant, let alone a fortified military compound, but, if it turns out their application is accepted, the politicians certainly don't want an angry allied nation, who'd be willing to give out information about us. Reduce it over a period of five minutes, as we don't want to seem too obvious."

The ships began drifting away, hoping to lure out some small contingents of ships...

OOC: No big. Just clarifying

The Abh fleet had lost about half of their attack vessels in the attack so there was no way Doron was going to let them lead the way for an attack. The Patrolships weren't looking too good either. It was true that he still held the bulk of his fleet but time was running out. They were going to need a supply fleet to help them out if they wanted to continue.

"All Frontlineships, launch mines to the left of the fleet but hold status. We'll use the mines as a shield from their fire."

The crew looked at their commander curiously but he only nodded saying. "They are backing off. They must have been more damaged than they let on to be. Keep all engines ready and monitor energy output. I want us to be able to leave the system at a moments notice if they try to unleash that 'thing' again. Take time to load weapons and tend to wounded on ships."

A large wall of mines was assembled to the left of the fleet to protect it from any fire. They could be redirected to take up an offensive at any time if he so desired or the enemy made a move forward.

Fedral Ships turned their turrets again and fired another huge volley, dark fusion cannons, photon beam cannons gluon cannons (they basically disrupt matter) dark neutron cannons all fired in succession with missiles.

Fighters from the super carrier began flying out huge waves of thousands of fighters raced out, over 1500 F-16 Fighting star flacons (they kind of look like futuristic F-16’s) , maneuvered around flying at enormous speeds.

Radio chatter :

“Alpha Nike Yankee, this is sierra alpha mike , we have bogeys in sight..”

“Alpha Nike Yankee responding affirmative “

“Zulu X-Ray mike reporting in beginning bombing run”

With In a few seconds the large numbers of fighters raced towards the enemy capital ships and began drooping there Pulson missiles, the missals detach from the Star flacons and then engaged there engines zipping passed over at .50C, mean while as they fired there missiles they began shooting followed by. there meson gauss cannons.

As soon as the ship were over the planet tellportation of troops began. Over 950,000 troops, tanks, gun ships, assault mechs were being beamed down to the planet.

The dreadnoughts began targeting major power stations and other important stretchers and began bombarding them with its powerful photon beams and dark fusion cannons.

"Incoming fleet."

"Ours?"

"You could say that."

"Kythons?"

"No. General Fleet."

"Holy shit."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

At about that moment in time, somewhere in the region of two thousand massive vessels materialized over the Kazeci homeworld. Gothic edifices of steel and reworked weapons several kilometers in length formed a double-wall formation between the enemy fleets and the Kazecistan Defense Installation.

These vessels were of the Alliance of Naggeroth General Fleet. Control of the fleet had been passed to the Godulans in order to defend and expand Godulan interests, and for the past several years, the Godulans had been modifying and upgrading every possible system on each of the massive vessels', bringing them in line with Godulan firepower and making them a massive force indeed.

An audible static could be heard over comms as the sheer energy of the firepower they started preparing began to crackle and shimmer amongs the fleet, but the massive convocation did not open fire.

Mean while 8 more ships jumped in the system watching the formation of a Godularan blockade around the station, the ships rumbled in there massive guns and weapons targeting the capital ships while fighters were lunched to take on the smaller ships .

Commander, bastidas on the massive Bengal class battle station was standing on the bridge, his blue black uniform glimmering in the light on the bridge of the massive 25-km long ship. The ship moved its hundreds of powerful weapons in to place as the smaller ships beside it did the same.

Bastidas ordered in a brash loud voice “all stations fire!!”

With in seconds massive beams of dark fusion, photon beams, anti matter beams and all sorts of weapons flew out of the ship followed by thousands upon thousands of ZPE missals, the other ships followed in suit firing there weapons and missals, Triple Dark Neutron Turrets powered up and fired beams and pulses of powerful fire targeting capital ships.

OOC: That's okay! Really! You shouldn't have brought them at all.

"Oh look," General Arcturus said as the newcomer Fedral vessel arrived, "The Fedrals wish to continue the conflict. Damage report?"

"Minimal damage sir, we're sharing shield strength, they're trying to hit everybody at once, but that spreads them out WAY too thin."

"How annoying," Arcturus replied, then brought the entirety of the fleet, Godulan and AoN General into selection. "Select targets, prepare Simultaneous Fusillade. Ready for my mark."

If space were capable of carrying sound, it would have thrummed rather vibrantly with the sudden rush of power going to all ship weapons.

"And us, sir?"

"Focus fire on a single point, I want a Shatterspace anomaly the size of a medium asteroid centered right smack dab on that superdread's command structure."

"Aye sir, notifying the Demonwing and Diamondeye."

Arcturus checked back to the holographic representation of his fleet, he could see the Fedral fleet attempting to level what it thought was a tremendous amount of firepower at the combined Godulan fleet. The Godulans had only taken up the position to enforce the cease-fire that had been called. But those fools who thought themselves as for democracy and freedom yet threw in their lot with warlords and despots, just didn't know when to back off.

Well, today it would cost them everything. The Godulans were only too willing to bolt off a good old Return to Sender.

All the ships in the fleet had a small icon next to them indicating "Ready"

He selected the entire fleet again, and uttered a single word:

"Mark."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a spectator were to have blinked at the wrong time, he would have missed it.

For a split second, the entire battlefield lit up with the combined firepower of the Godulan and AoN General, as it focused a single concerted and heavily charged salvo on the Fedral fleet. An eerie blue light seemed like a miniature supernova had flashed into existence and flashed right back out.

For that one moment, every vessel in the Fedral Fleet fell victim to the combined firepower of up to ten combine vessels at once. It was a single concerted salvo where every single ship in the fleet aimed its weapons full forward, all targeted on the Fedral vessels, charged up each weapon to maximum firepower, and hit the Fedral fleet in perfect simultaneity.

It was like one big shot. One giant pyramid of firepower with the Fedral Fleet at the tip. There was no way in hell, as they say, that anything would be left living, much less left at all.

The simple collection of firepower alone would have caused a Shatterspace anomaly that could be seen from the other side of the system, and the Shatterspace anomalies were only a secondary effect, intended to punch through enemy shields and rend enemy vessels with impunity.

As for the vaunted Superdread, it fell victim to a special favor. Particularly one by the name of Apocalyptus and its Widowmaker escorts. The Apocalyptus an Archonal Command Class ship approximately 30km in length and one third that wide at the base, and its two 10km escorts, were often enough to end a fight before it started, simply because they NEVER came without lots and lots and lots of backup. And its hundreds of Flux Cannons were just as easily focused as the rest of the fleet's.

Boom.

OOC: Sorry dude. Could've just left like the Godulans told you to, but nope.

The enemy barges only took out several smaller ships as the larger ships took it their shields
Withstanding.

The Fedral ships charged up there weapons again and fired massive barrages of fire power tera tons upon tera tons flowing out of the ships every second more and more fire power concentrated on the enemy ships. Some other ships targeted the large enemy flag ship and fired their Phased transit cannons (take a look at it this way a phase transit cannon on the Bengal can destroy a planet.. punch a hole right though it, the smaller ones are about 1/4th of that power) .

On the bridge commander bastidas looked over to his tactical officer and said, “target that big ship…. And fire the main phase transit cannon!”

The tactical officer nodded as the bridge got more noisy due to the fact of the battle the ship shook, the officer taped a few buttons with in seconds the ship turned still firing its massive weapons all of a sudden stopping.. a few seconds passed and then a hugely massive burst of fire power raced though the voodoo of space, a blue white and Grey beam over 50 meters thick flew across the void towards the larger ships, as the others covered the enemy ships.

Losses: 4 smaller ships 2 medium ships 1 large ship minor damage to others, 50 fighters )

ooc: It's all good. How about a station assault if you plan on dragging this out? Unless none of you want a ground battle.... It's fine with me either way.

Ic: The Kazeci fleet was being beaten back, despite the fact that enemy firepower was more distracted from them. The redundant power systems ensured that none of the ships had a 'critical core overload' as there were many small cores all working in seclusion from each other. While the ships may have lasted a short while longer, what remained of the destroyed ones became a hazard, floating free in space, ready to collide and cause damage. They began to fall back to the station, the worst off entering the massive bays for quick repairs.

They fought even more fiercely now that they were cornered, making unexpected charges and bursts of weapon fire. They began to over work the cooling systems on their weapons, meaning that soon a break would be needed. The station's weapons had greater range and power. The many massive ion cannon emplacements lashed out with unforgiving force. They had the power to cut an undefended ship to pieces in seconds and took every opportunity to do so. SPPTs fired again and again, each time attempting to bypass the enemy's shielding all together and deliver their photonic payload to the ship's hull. The Zat fire came at unbelievable rates, never ceasing to bombard their targets with purplish energy.

You are going up against a fleet of 2500 vessels with firepower and shielding that can and does match yours in strength. You are NOT going to get off that easy.

My vessels Flux Cannons generate a region of distorted space time that severs molecular bonds on a macroscopic level, essentially turning anything caught within into floating husks of scrap metal. I also utilize Protium Arc Disintegrators which are essentially nuclear weapons focused into a single bolt of energy.

With the strength of the weaponry focused upon your entire fleet, there is presently a Shatterspace anomaly the size of a very large planet that will rip and rend your fleet to shreds. Shielding or not. Were you to challenge my Makos alone, this would be a relatively fair fight as your vessels have lower numbers but larger size than the makos. However, against a fleet of 2500 vessels, two thousand of which are SEVERELY upgraded vessels ranging towards several times as large as a Mako and several times more powerful, you're a skidmark.

These vessels are arranged in a double wall formation that allows them to coordinate strikes against your fleet with a particular cohesion, which enabled them that particularly scathing assault upon your fleet.

Do NOT think you have superior technology here.

FURTHERMORE, if you fire any major buildup weapon, it WILL be caught by a particularly happy little countermeasure I have which will make you regret EVER using an uber weapon. You may not have noticed that thus far, I have pulled out no one-shots, just combined salvos and mine barrages.

Give it up dude, you made a dumb move. Time to pay the piper.
