Leafanistan has legalized consensual murder, as long as you give consent and pay for a "Death Permit" ($170,000 New Rubles) you can murder someone as long as they are okay with it. Obviously the state sees the entertainment portion of this, so they have a plan, give people guns, tell them to go shoot each other for entertainment.
It will be called the Tournament, teams are being invited from all over the nation and abroad, this is the first time foreigners are being invited to Leafanistan, albiet its for killing them or at least maiming them. It will last 1 week or whenever the objective is accomplished.
The grand prize is $55 million US per team member that doesn't have to be taken off the island (heavy injuries, death). People who violate the rules will die. We have an Ion Cannon, with such heavy surveilliance on the island, Camera Towers, satellite imagery with infrared and the tracers on your clothing we can find you if you break the rules, its $3 million a shot, but the increased ratings if we do fire it will make up for it.
Every person will wear a special battery powered vest (Don't worry, the standard battery is Lithium-ion and only weighs a kilo, and it'll last a month at standard usage.) with a magenetic induction field and a small radio transmitter. This allows us to detect hits and where they are. So we can score. You can kill, you can set up tiger traps, rig mines from the vehicles we supply. Do what you will. As long as it gets us ratings.
The Tournament is point-based. Hitting someone with your rubber bullet, (magnetic core to help our specialized vests and magnetic induction field helmets detect hits), is 15 points. Hitting someone with shrapnel from a exploding rubber rocket or disabling them with a tear gas grenade is 50 points. There are medals for achieving certain tasks, such as being a sucessful sniper is 25 points since sniping with rubber bullets are hard. Stealing an enemy vehicle while they are still in it constitutes more points. Whomever has the most points will recieve an extra $10 million US at the end, the second most will recieve an extra $3 million US at the end.
The first Tournament will be Neutral Flag. Each person has a Flag Base, which consists of their team color flag. 3 times a day there will be a supply drop. Unless someone takes down your team's flag. Then there will be none and you'll lose 500 points.
It will be broadcasted on Pay-per-view (cheaper for Leafanistani viewers) domestically and abroad. Only $7 US a day!
OOC: I'll create a map of the island that is being used, and you submit your registration fee (Death Permit along with Ammo Fee, $350,000). From there you can grab any weapons and ammo in small little huts on the island and your base. It is a snowy island with lots of caves, hilly yet with a small evergreen forest. Varied landscape, cameras everywhere (Interfering intentionally with the cameras (Visible, Ultraviolet and Infrared) is illegal and results in point deductions and possible disqualification. As for rules I need you to help me create rules. Like things and such and sign up. It'll be intricate. I want to see if we can do it. Sign up.
