Pananab

North of Pananab, across the border, Approx. 300 kil. from Panrabia
True to his word, General Stowes ahd left Pananab, but not forever. They had found a new HQ in Old Panrabia, in teh nation to the north. It was a huge batch of ruins, covering dozens of miles, but most of it was underground to this day, making it ideal for a base. It even had large chambers for his one dozen tanks. He had over a thousand men working the base and they enjoyed a healthy growth rate from the loyal Pananab men and women who wanted to help with Stowes' cause. They resented the fact that they never got the chance to draw up their own constitution before being invaded. But Stowes would take no action until the Pudites, the Red Tideans, and Arakarians got comfortable. Hakunan made sure that the people still remembered that Stowes was still out there, which helped with recruitment and loyalty.
In order to pay for his operations, Stowes hired out his amry as honorable mercenaries. They would not take part in dishonorable activites, liek rape or wrongful pillaging and destruction of towns unless the cities in questtion had done something. Hakunan also sent him bags of money every once in a while from his company's profits.
But what he mostly needed were modern weaponry. Better than old Russian tanks, better than AK-47s and old 9mm pistols, and better than both of these things, Stowes needed aircraft.
Lots of Aircraft.
Stowes was careful to make sure nobody he didn't want to find out did. He stayed well-informed and contacted nations that might need their services. Everything was going well. Very well indeed.
