Well the idea of the thread is to outline my own military reforms, not foreign reforms/designs in their military, so yes, the thread should more or less follow my own reforms. However, if you wanted to do something similar just make your own thread! That way you can continously released projects on your own thread, without mixing them with other people's stuff.

As for the heavy SLBM, that might not begin for a while if we do, I have a strict time schedule for development as it follows my needs for the war, and post-war, military. As for the Broken Dawn, it's open, but I don't suggest you get involved since I'm not going to be very cooperative - the Order of St. Atmos likes to work alone, and kill alone. But it is open.

For those training exercises yes. But I think, anyways, that since I missed your first exercises I'm going to have a bit of trouble understanding everything, so perhaps we should just null my entrance? Unless, once you start the second exercise it's easy to understand where I am...It's hard to explain and sorry if this was a bit confusing. But, do you get what I'm trying to say?

Damn, that looks good, but I think that if I do join in I'm not going to be very stable, in terms of quality and how much I can do, since I'm very timestrapped with four RPs on here, W@W and Earth Six. But, if you ever have a second one, count me in!

mmh, why did you think it was MILEX VL '05?

Alright, I have server space that I don't really use anymore [just for W@W that is dying down anyways] and there's a general problem with out of character and people's technology, and taking an example from the NS Wiki, I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a Wiki purely meant for technology on nationstates?

Of course, me knowing nothing about Wiki, php and how to prepare it all, could use a little help from experienced Wikiers, and I would be glad to give adminship access to the Wiki [if that's possible], and of course a large string of moderators that know what they're doing on Wiki.

Regardless, what should be focused on is whether people would use it or not. Would you guys?

Guys, I won't be able to respond to any major RPs for a while. I just a bad cold on Monday, with a sore throat, and a never ending headache, so I have my limits - especially with class. I'll still respond on the Draftroom, and on Kriegzimmer, since that doesn't require much thinking - but otherwise, no long, drawn out story posts. My sincerest apologies. In further news, SafeHaven2 got a new computer! Yay, A Passion Play can now continue with full force!

Mac, you said that you kept a "fluid history" (IIRC, that was what you said)....so you keep on changing your nation's history. What were it's other histories?

I'll reveal the long story, in nutshell form. In 2004 I was rather embroiled in World at War, and I came back to NS, and back to the RWC alliance, and decided to pick a fight - and so, I started to goad NATO and AMF, and AMF began to deploy in order to goad me, and I ended up launching anti-shipping missiles at his fleet from a submarine. It could have progressed, but I broke my arm in a skating accident, and it turned into a real flamefest. And so, when my arm partially healed by January, I came back and restarted my history as the Golden Throne. From there, I've been keeping up a history of my nation, and making sure it all fits and such - although my early history is a little weird [the Kahtan Crusade, and the Melgerian Conflict].

Hehehe, I figured that, but, I'm not aware I had terms of alliance - can you link to where Hal uses them? More accurately, yes I probably could link you, but I've never used the term before so I don't know what it refers to, so I would need an example as a definition.

Bah! Where is that? The only guide I know of his is the site, and he doesn't have it there. In light of this, I should also make note that I don't remember setting down any specific guidelines for an alliance.

Would you object/suggest/care if I joined into A Passion Play?

Not at all, but it's been going pretty damn slow. And by damn slow I mean nobody has posted in over a week. I expected it to pick up pace because SafeHaven2 got a new computer, but it hasn't, and it saddens me because I can't just have it end like that - it needs a conclusion..specifically, at least another month worth of roleplaying to get everything I have already planned into the roleplay.

OOC: Erm, can you please remind me what I said in the TG? And say, would you be willing to help out with Kahanistan's military reforms rp I'm planning (Doom is considering of having a hand in the reforms, like he did with Sarzonia) after he surrenders to CAD forces or gets turned into a CAD colonial holding and his military goes underground and bide their time to take back their country, during which we have a secret conference or after they retake their nation, there's a meeting in the Supreme Soviet (the DSRK's legislative branch) on military reforms.

You pointed me to a thread about some person accepting industry in his country. And sure, I can help out.

I know that. But if you and Kahanistan can't work a way out ICly, there's a way OOCly. Maybe you could do a design succeeding his old ZSU-23-4 Shilkas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZSU-23-4_Shilka) for him OOCly and let him say ICly it's a domestic design.

I don't have a definate ending yet - but he will either die or be executed as a traitor. The second one to ever receive that ending - the first would be Prince Heinrich of Dienstad, who was just taken prisoner, along with much of the Weigari rebels, at the River Nestor.

I don't know your nation too well, either ICly or OOCly, so I really can't say anything. Your storefronts I haven't looked into, but from your ability to receive criticism [on the Draftroom] and your willingness to listen to other people's opinions, I would garner that your storefronts are rather accurate as compared to those of others.

I know, but what exactly defines a happy ending? He gets executed the kosher way? He doesn't get executed at all? He falls in love? Et cetera.

He realizes his mistake of Absolute Capitalism and becomes a philantropher. Right now for me, it's 11:32 p.m. at night (I reside in Hong Kong - GMT + 8.00 time), I'll detail more when I have more time to type.

About Harbinger - perhaps he takes whatever money he can, runs off to some nation with little to no extradition laws, takes an alias, and spends the rest of his days quietly living off of the remaining money...

I don't want the Knights of Pir-Sar to die off as an organization in this roleplay, so perhaps they can be extracted to another nation and base future operations from there in a series of other countries? But Harbinger is much too greedy to realize any mistakes. :P

He still makes money, but instead makes it off via writing - writing about the NS Military Industrial Complex. It's a brilliant idea for a role-play, and he gets to do something good as well, he rakes it loads of dough and donates a lot of dough to the poor (and because he is so rich, he can donate loads to help while his wealth is relatively unaffected).

Macabees, just out of curiousity, I just remembered something I should've asked some time ago - what does the Macabee Imperium think of the Woodstock Pact member-states in general and it's mutual hate-hate relationship with an alliance the Golden Throne has friendly relations with, CAD?

I'll get to your question on Kriegzimmer next, by the way! In any case, you'd be suprised. Despite lack of large scale relationships with the Woodstock Pact's defacto leadership, Sarzonia, we do have limited relations with other member states, including The Silver Sky [who was kicked out], Space Union and Izistan. The latter actually had the HMS Izistan, a battleship, engaged 'by accident'by the Halmilcar [a huge ship] - which is Gerfaanlichi. Since Gerfaanlich is also at war with the Empire in the War of Golden Succession, Izistan is more or less now an ally of the Golden Throne [more or less] - and if that front ever progresses, there will be cooperative work. Izistan is also supposedly a major monetary partner in the Rolu.21 Boneharvester attack helicopter. Specifically Sarzonia, relations are less than good - especially after that entire Space Union economic depression debacle, and Sarzonia's [ICly] attack on Absolute Capitalism as fascist. Personally, Fedor is rooting for Doomingsland - officially, we don't really care and consider it a duel between two lesser powers [ICly, Fedor is a very cocky emperor]. CAD wise, we have had no relations actually - the only real allies we have in there are the Parthians and Doomingsland who are both part of the Triumvirate - this would have become a stronger alliance, but I had left for Spain just when it was formed... so we never became as strong as we should have.

[OOC: Macabees, you planning to join the "Changes in Kahanistan" story? My defense minister has already cracked the Kahanistanian defense ministry's shell - as in to say, they have been convinced into thinking that buying from Kriegzimmer may not be a bad idea after all, note that his military reformations role-play preludes Harbinger's death. The Democratic Soviet Republic views the Macabee Imperium with caution due to the alliance it has with Doomingsland and Parthia, but would the Feurmak send a few generals to help out Kahanistan and garner it's favor?]

The very first post of the thread in question states that many generals, politicians, and advisors, etc. from "various foreign nations" were in attendance. That gives anyone who wants in a way to RP having someone there without having to even RP an arrival.

Yea, but I figured since I was >100 posts late there would have to be some different way of getting in...but I'll do it that way later.

I have an idea - why not simply make your Generals arrive late? Say Fedor ordered them to go, but thanks to a plane mishap at the airport, they came later.

So, I am not alone in that roleplaying belief.

From what I can tell about the Greater Dienstad region's geography, my guess is that it is somewhere in the North Atlantic and close in to the equator, or in the mediterreanean.

The laws of climates and wind patterns don't apply to Greater Dienstad. :P It should be noted that Zarbia's interior is a lush rainforest, while parts of his north and my panhandle are blazing deserts.

Mac, how long have you been RPing for? Also how many regions have you been in/created? and how long have you been designing for, because to me it looks like you get rid of old designs after you make new ones?? Although i may be wrong....

I've been roleplaying and designing since June 12th, 2003. My first designs were more or less copies and 'improvements' on old German armour from the Second World War, since I had just read the book Panzerkrieg, by Peter McCarthy. My first region was Grossdeutchland, I believe, and then I moved into Guffingford's region of Imperial Armies, and when he was deleted we moved to Greater Dienstad. Those are the three major regions I've been in, or remember.
