http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/abrams-122.jpg
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/m1a2-001.jpg
Description: When Mannatopia was refused sale of M1A2 tanks, they stole the blueprints. Mannatopian engineers have since upgraded it, dubbing the new vehicle the M1A3. An automatic loader has been added, removing the need for a fourth crew member, and many systems from the Russian T-90 tank have been added, such as the main gun. This gun is capable of firing the AT-11 Sniper ATGM through the main gun, giving it the ability to accurately destroy armor at ranges exceeding that of other tanks, although not as many of these missiles can be carried as normal tank ammunition, so normal ammo is still the preferred choice in battle. For added protection, Mannatopian engineers have added explosive reactive armor, again adapted from the T-90.

Stingray II
Manufacturer: Mannatopia Armored Vehicles
Crew: 4 (Commander, Gunner, Driver, loader)
Weight: 20 tons (50,000 lbs) fully loaded
Length: 30 ft 5 in
Width: 8 ft 10 in
Speed: 45 mph
Range: 300 mi
Armament: 105 mm main gun with 24 rounds, 7.62 mm coaxial, 7.62 mm cal. commander’s gun
Price: $1,600,000
http://www.wapahani.com/image28.jpg
Description: When Mannatopian spies were stealing the plans for the M1A2, they came across blueprints for many other vehicles, some of which have become more important to the military than even the M1A3. One of these was the Stingray II light tank. It was produced nearly “as is” for the Mannatopian Army, and is currently the most numerous tank in the arsenal. This is because it is much cheaper than the M1A3; in fact, you can buy almost 3 Stingrays for the price of one M1A3. It is far less capable in many respects. Its standard armor can only protect against 7.62 mm armor piercing rounds, although Mannatopian engineers have added limited appliqué armor plating, so it can now withstand .50 caliber armor piercing shells. It is armed with a far less powerful 105 mm gun and only 24 rounds of ammunition, and no auto loader. The gun cannot fire an ATGM, but it can still defeat 90% of current armored vehicles. It does have an advantage of most other tanks in speed, and its fire control system is very accurate.

M1128 Stryker MGS

Height: 8 ft 8 in
Speed: 60 mph
Range: 330 mi
Armament: 105 mm main gun, 7.62 mm MG, .50 cal. commander’s gun
Price: $4,100,000
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/images/stryker-MGSinSand.jpg
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/images/stryker-MGS-firing.jpg
Description: As the Mannatopian military grows, we find ourselves capable of handling more than just homeland defense. To that end, a force was needed that could respond faster, and with an element of surprise, while still having significant firepower. Recently, our engineers have come up with the answer: a modified form of the American M1128 Stryker Mobile Gun System (MGS). This is a lightweight, wheeled armored vehicle, armed with the 105 mm gun tube from the original M1, and fitted with an autoloader to reduce crew and size requirements. The original vehicle could barely withstand .50 caliber armor piercing shell fire, so explosive reactive armor has been added, allowing the vehicle to survive attacks from RPGs. The key to its surprise is its ability to be air-dropped. The original vehicle was sized to fit in medium cargo aircraft, and Mannatopian engineers have added the parachute system from the cancelled American M-8 AGS.

Infantry Fighting Vehicles/APC

M2A4
Manufacturer: Mannatopia Advanced Research
Crew: 3 + 6 infantry
Weight: 20 tons (55,000 lbs) fully loaded
Length: 21 ft 2 in
Width: 10 ft 6 in
Height: 10 ft
Speed: 40 mph
Range: 250 mi
Armament: 30 mm modified aircraft cannon, 7.62 mm coaxial
Price: $3,700,000
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/m2-bradley-ds.jpg
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/bushmaster-dvic484.jpg
Description: Mannatopian engineers took the design of the M2A3 as a base, but they had to do a fair amount to it. Mannatopia lacked a suitable ATGM to use in place of the TOW missiles normally found on the A3, so to give it a limited anti-tank capability, they modified the main gun. In place of the 25 mm chain gun, a modified aircraft cannon was installed, firing depleted uranium shells at about 2000 rounds per minute. This installation is not without problems; first off, the ammunition is exhausted in about 15 seconds of continuous fire, secondly the added weight of the gun and ammunition reduced the vehicles speed and range. The cost of the vehicle also was drastically increased. In return, the M2A4 can destroy almost any armored vehicle it encounters. The crew is very well protected thanks to the already excellent armor combined with the addition of explosive reactive armor.

BMP-3
Manufacturer: Mannatopia Armored Vehicles
Crew: 3 + 7 infantry
Weight: 18.7 tons (37,400 lbs) fully loaded
Length: 20 ft 3 in
Width: 9 ft 5 in
Height: 7 ft 4 in
Speed: 43 mph
Range: 375 mi
Armament: 100 mm main gun, 30 mm coaxial cannon, 7.62 mm coaxial, 7.62 mm anti-air
Price: $190,000
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/row/bmp-3_9.jpg
Description: It quickly became obvious that the Mannatopia was not going to be able to purchase enough M2A4 IFVs to fill the Army’s requirements, so an alternative was purchased. The BMP-3 is a far cheaper combat vehicle, but with many of the same capabilities as the M2A4. The 100 mm main gun gives it limited anti-armor capability, but more importantly, it can be used as a support weapon for infantry in battle, destroying obstacles, and firing on enemy positions. The 30 mm cannon provide excellent support ability against lightly armored vehicles, while the 7.62 mm guns provide support fire against enemy infantry. Explosive reactive armor has once again been added by Mannatopian engineers, allowing the BMP-3 increased combat survivability.

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/china/images/fc-1_06.jpg
Description: Mannatopia’s first indigenously built fighter, the JF-17A Lightning is a modified version of the Chinese JF-17 Thunder. It retains that crafts outstanding flight performance, which in most respects is equal to that of an F-16, but at a more affordable price. Its electronic systems are equal to an F-16, and its control system is a mix of manual and fly-by-wire, taking the best of both to enhance the crafts maneuverability. The main modifications are in its armament. First, the Chinese AAMs have been replaced with the best Mannatopia currently has to offer, Sparrows and Sidewinders. The original 23 mm cannon was been replaced with Mannatopia’s 30 mm cannon (the unmodified cannon that the M2A4 gun is based from) based off of the GSh-6. This was done to allow the firing of the depleted uranium anti-armor shells, vastly increasing the aircraft’s close air support capability. The drawback of this is the increased size of the new gun, fuel supply and therefore range was sacrificed in favor the cannon.

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/yak141a.jpg
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/yak141.jpg
Description: With the expansion of the Mannatopian Navy, our engineers became aware of the need for a carrier based fighter for any future aircraft carrier design. When the navy told them the carrier would be a STOVL design, but that they still wanted supersonic performance and high capabilities, the engineers turned to the Russian Yak-141 design. The design was acquired, along with that of newer guided missiles. These new missiles are being incorporated into the Mannatopian military, and include, but are not limited to, the AA-11 Archer (a far more capable missile than the Sidewinder) and the AA-12 Adder (giving Mannatopia a weapon equivalent to late model AMRAAM missiles). The AAM hard points were modified to carry the AA-12, and new radar was installed to best take advantage of the new missile; the Mannatopian MAPG-1. This radar is equal to that used on block 50/52 F-16C/D.

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/il-76-73p01.jpg
Description: While the Mannatopian military is quite capable of defending the homeland, it has long been lacking in an ability to project force abroad. This is mainly due to a lack of transport capacity; the military simply did not have the ability to bring troops and equipment anywhere. This fact has changed now that Mannatopian factories have begun construction of the IL-76MFA Assault Candid. The design has been modified to allow airdrop of vehicles, such as the M1128 Stryker airborne tank. This aircraft was picked because of its price, $40M, while newer designs such as the C-17 are priced in the $200M range, something the Mannatopian people cannot yet afford. The limitations are obvious, while the aircraft is long enough to accommodate 2 or 3 of most Mannatopian vehicles; it is only wide and tall enough to carry one in the rear. All vehicles except the M1A3 can be carried, though only the M1128 is configured for airdrop. In addition, the Assault Candid can also carry a large number of infantry or paratroops.

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/roo03.jpg
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/roo04.jpg
Description: Mannatopia’s first combat attack helicopter, the Rooivalk is made from design plans purchased from South Africa. The already capable design has been modified to suite Mannatopian needs. First off, the original heavy air-to-air missiles have been replaced with the more capable AA-11 archer, and the weapon officer’s helmet has been modified to accept the Archer’s off-aspect targeting ability. The original 20 mm cannon has been replaced with a 30 mm cannon firing Mannatopia’s depleted uranium ammunition, giving the helicopter far better tank stopping power even after the missiles have been depleted. The original design of this helicopter was seen as the “bigger brother” to the Eurocopter Tiger, and this design carries on that legacy well.

Description: To fill the role of the Anti-Submarine Warfare helicopter, Mannatopian has a modified form of the Ka-27 Helix-A. Our Helix-A2 has a number of upgraded systems. The torpedoes have been replaced with the far more accurate and capable Mk. 46 mod 5. The surface search radar has been replaced with the modern MAPS-2, and the dipping sonar has been replaced with the MTS-2, all of which give this helicopter far expanded abilities to locate, track, and destroy modern submarines. This design was selected because the coaxial rotor system allows for heavier lift in a smaller footprint, important for shipborne operations.

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/row/sa-14-image18.jpg
Description: Mannatopia’s forces have been building up in preparation for conflict with Torontia for some time now, and in doing so, a number of lessons have been learned. Chief among these is the desperate need for air defense of our forces. In that spirit, Mannatopian engineers have started production of the SA-14 shoulder launched Surface-To-Air Missile. This missile gives our soldiers the ability to engage mach 2 aircraft from any angle, including head on. The main limitations of the system are that it is easily fooled by countermeasures such as flares.

http://www.fas.org/spp/starwars/program/h4.jpg
http://www.fas.org/spp/starwars/program/hawk_02.jpg
Description: The heavier component of Mannatopia’s missile based air defense, the Hawk SAM is another design stolen from the Americans. This missile provides excellent local area coverage against all air targets up to mach 2.5, and has limited capability against ballistic missiles. Mannatopia prefers to use this missile to defend bases, as it does not have the range to defend large areas, like Mannatopia proper, and it is too large and heavy to travel with the troops. Each fire unit comes with the targeting and tracking systems necessary to fire the missiles.

RIM-7P Sea Sparrow
Manufacturer: Mannatopia Missiles
Weight: 500 lbs
Length: 12 ft
Diameter: 8 in
Wingspan: 3 ft 4 in
Propulsion: Hercules MK-58 solid-propellant rocket motor
Speed: More than 2,660 mph

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/images/seasparrow2.jpg
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/images/seasparrow-atsea39.jpg
Description: Mannatopia’s principle ocean air defense missile, the Sea Sparrow is a highly capable system despite its age. It is quick reacting, maneuverable, fast, and accurate. Its medium range allows Mannatopian vessels to intercept aircraft at ranges that exceed their ability to launch many anti-ship missiles. Don’t be fooled by its age or its price, this is a very lethal system. Mannatopia fires theirs through Mk. 48 VLS launchers.

AIM-7M Sparrow
Manufacturer: Mannatopia Missiles
Weight: 500 lbs
Length: 12 ft
Diameter: 8 in
Wingspan: 3 ft 4 in
Propulsion: Hercules MK-58 solid-propellant rocket motor
Speed: More than 2,660 mph
Max Range: 30 nm
Min Range: 48,000 ft
Guidance: semi-active radar
Price: $ 125,000
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/images/aim-7-wsmr.jpg
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/images/aim-7-dvic402.jpg
Description: A medium range air-to-air missile, the Sparrow is being phased out in favor of newer systems. It is mainly kept around due to its low price and the fact that it is still a lethal system. While early Sparrow missiles were unreliable, newer versions, such as the M, are quite capable. These missiles have solid state seekers in place of the tube based systems of the original missiles. They are also quite maneuverable, and have been nicknamed “dogfight Sparrows.” While the original missiles had only a 10% chance of hitting their target, the new Sparrows have a 80% chance. The main reason for their retirement is that they are not fire-and-forget, the launch aircraft has to keep pointed at the target, painting it with radar for the semi-active guidance.

AIM-9L Sidewinder
Manufacturer: Mannatopia Missiles
Weight: 190 lbs
Length: 9 ft 5 in
Diameter: 5 in
Wingspan: 2 ft 1 in
Propulsion: Hercules and Bermite Mk 36 Mod 71, 8 solid-propellant rocket motor
Speed: Supersonic Mach 2.5
Max Range: 10 nm
Guidance: Solid state IR
Price: $85,000
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/images/aim9.jpg
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/images/sidewinder-f18.jpg
Description: A short range air-to-air missile, the Sidewinder is being phased out in favor of newer systems. This missile is among the earliest capable of all-aspect engagement, you do not need a rear only lock to fire. While this was quite an achievement, they missile has a number of shortcomings. It does not have much in the way of counter-counter measure capability, so it is easily confused. In addition, it does not have off aspect fire capability; the aircraft must be pointed at the target to fire the missile. These shortcomings aside, the Sidewinder is still a very capable system, and an inexpensive one.

AA-11 Archer
Manufacturer: Mannatopia Missiles
Weight: 231 lbs
Length: 9 ft 6 in
Diameter: 6 in
Wingspan: 1 ft 7 in
Propulsion: One solid-propellant rocket motor
Speed: Supersonic Mach 2.5
Max Range: 16 nm
Guidance: Solid state IR
Price: $125,000
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/russia/images/aa-11_1.jpg
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/russia/images/aa-11.jpg
Description: A short range air-to-air missile, the has become our premier frontline system. It is highly maneuverable, able to handle sustained g-forces far above any manned fighter, and has multiple systems to pick out real targets out of both background and flares, making very hard to confuse. This missile can also be fired off-aspect, the seeker head pointing the direction of the pilot’s helmet. This is an obvious choice for a new high tech missile to replace the Sidewinder.

AA-12 Adder
Manufacturer: Mannatopia Missiles
Weight: 275 lbs
Length: 11 ft 8 in
Diameter: 7 in
Wingspan: 1 ft 2 in
Propulsion: Solid propellant
Speed: Mach 3+
Max Range: 32 nm
Guidance: inertial, active radar
Price: $250,000
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/russia/images/r77_aa12.jpg
Description: A medium range air-to-air missile, the Adder has become our premier missile system. It is maneuverable, accurate, and fire-and-forget. With a range and speed exceeding the Sparrow, and a maneuverability exceeding the AMRAAM, this missile is an obvious choice.

Description: Our first naval project, the KDX-1a also represents a technological leap through for Mannatopian engineers. This is our most advanced design of any kind to date. Mannatopia has long lacked an effective navy, and decided to start with an effective multi-role destroyer. The ideal design came in the Korean KDX-1 for the reason that a number of its systems were common with what Mannatopia already had or was producing. For example, the Sparrow missiles are almost identical to that used by our JF-17A, and the CIWS fires 30 mm rounds used by Mannatopia rather than the 20 mm rounds common on most other CIWS (especially those of the Americans). Most of the electronics systems have been left untouched, but a towed array sonar of Mannatopian design has been added to increase ASW capability.

Description: Our second naval design was a frigate, again from Korea, selected for its high firepower/weight ratio and commonality with our KDX-1a. While technically a frigate, it has the firepower of many other nations destroyers, with 2 76mm main guns and 4 30mm guns modified for Mannatopian ammunition. Our engineers elected for a design combining the more advanced electronics and armament of the later versions of the Ulsan with the 30mm guns of the early ones, to increase commonality with other Mannatopian designs. While this vessel is cheaper than the KDX-1a, it has a number of reduced capabilities. It is faster, but has a lower range. Its hull mounted sonar is less capable than the destroyer’s, and it lacks a towed array, which combined with the lower number of torpedo tubes greatly reduces the ASW capabilities of this ship. It also lacks CIWS for air defense. The Ulsan is still very capable in surface warfare, escort, and coastal defense.

Description: The addition of the R-11A “Lion Pride” V/STOL Carrier to the Mannatopian People’s Navy greatly increases the force projection capability of our nation. Mannatopian engineers started with the design of the Spanish R-11 Principe de Asturias carrier due to the commonality of one of the largest parts, the engine. This carrier uses the same engine as both our KDX-1a destroyer and Ulsan mod-a frigate. Some parts of the design were modified, mainly the replacement of the 20mm Spanish CIWS with the 30mm system from the KDX-1a, allowing for more commonality, and revamping the hanger and flight decks and elevators to accommodate the Yak-141A Freestyle II carrier fighter.

Description: A powerful, yet inexpensive cruiser design, Mannatopian engineers have finally completed work on the refit of the old CGN Long Beach, resulting in the Long Beach-M. This ship has been extensively modified, practically building a new cruiser on the hull of an old one. The nuclear propulsion has been replaced with 4 of the LM-2500 gas turbines from other Mannatopian designs. While this has reduced the range of the ship, it vastly decreased the time needed to bring it into service. A Nixie torpedo decoy has been added, as has MTS-1 towed array sonar. The original cruiser design also lacked the ability to carry helicopters, only having a landing pad. This has been rectified. The original SAM armament has been replaced with our Sea Sparrow. This required the addition of a VLS, which gave our engineers an idea. They removed the original armored box Tomahawk launchers and box ASROC launchers, and replaced them with VLS. The ship has a total of 48 VLS cells, 32 Sea Sparrow (double that of other Mannatopian ships), 8 Tomahawk, and 8 ASROC. The original CIWS system has been replaced with the 30 mm variety used on our ships.

Description: A diesel electric design, Mannatopia’s first combat submarine is based off of the British Upholder class. This design combines high underwater speed, long range, high endurance, and excellent combat capabilities. The design has been little modified. The main changes are the addition of the MTS-2, which is a new towed array sonar for submarines, and the ability to fire harpoon missiles out of the torpedo tubes. This is an outstanding design for the price.

While we are happy in your interest in our M1A3, you have miscalculated the price of your order. 50,000 M1A3 tanks will cost $225,000,000,000, ten times what you have offered. In addition, your defense budget of $40,000,000,000 is not high enough for this order of 50,000 tanks.

We would be willing to sell you 5,000 M1A3 tanks for $22,500,000,000. We would also suggest a purchase of our Stingray II tank, which is more suited to nations with a small defense budget.

ooc: again, the XB-70 is an expensive, very technologically advanced aircraft, and my military currently is a less advanced, but FAR cheaper force. As for the Eurocopter Tiger, I am electing for a different attack helicopter, the CSH-2 Rooivalk (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/rooivalk.htm) . Interestingly, though, the company making it is in a joint agreement with Eurocopter, marketing the Rooivalk as the heavyweight chopper, while Eurocopter markets theirs as the lightweight.

In addition to the research that I do for exact numbers for my storefront, I actually know quite a lot about combat aircraft from all around the RL.

Effective range for AK-47 and derivatives is 300-400m, maximum range would be around 800m. The AK-103 is a far more modern weapon then the AK-47, it only looks the same on the outside. In addition, I have a friend in the Marines, he says the AK-74 (not 47) is accurate to 600m, and the AK-103 is much newer than that. It is much newer than the M-16.

Hence the higher accuracy. Also, I did research this accuracy rating before posting it.

Would you accept any foreign designs on your storefront? (I.e., post designs offered by foreign nations)

new designs:
CG Long Beach-M cruiser
SSK Upholder submarine

future items on my list:
artillery (self-propelled and/or towed)
more airplanes (ground attack, bomber, tanker, recon/situational awerness, large cargo)
more helicopters (scout, transport)
munitions (putting up weapons I already use, like some of my missiles and torpedos)
infantry weapons (RPGs, anti-tank missiles, more small arms)

I don't know how long it will take to get all of these, and they won't be all at the same time, but they are coming
