In an effort to expand my limited Wiki page about my nation I've decided to take questions.

To sum it up, Leafanistan acts like the Soviet Union, plays like China, and is in reality, a failing Republic that is more of a Confederacy with corrupt officials on the payroll of "State-owned" Corporations. But that is a bit dry. You can ask specific questions about Leafanistan here. Like lifestyle questions, economy questions, even sexual habits of Leafanistanis questions. I'll try my best to answer them.

You can do so, also, this can help make my RPs more expansive as you can bribe officials and the Leafanistani Mafia to do things. I'm thinking of working like the international arms dealers in Lord of War and going around arms embargoes. You can even steal my weapons as Leafanistan falls apart (soon.)

A couple of things that might help you in your quest to flesh-out your nation's character:

1) To what degree are personal luxuries centrally planned? And, in turn, how does that affect the consumption patterns of the Leafanistani citizens? In a similar vein, how vigorously are the aforementioned luxuries and how does that affect Leafanistan's citizens?

2) Are Leafanistanis more of a home-owning people or an apartment/flat renting/owning people? Is this because of some predetermination towards urbanization(or lack there of) or simply because of the space situation in Leafanistan?

3) Is the popular culture in Leafanistan privately or publically funded?

1) Do you support gay marriage?

2) Have your politicians given 'the finger' to any other politician from another country?

3) What is your best asset, and what is it's biggest annoying attribute?

Are only women genetically enchanced in Leafanistan? That question has been keeping me up in the morning for the last month or so.

About 45 or so NS years ago, I entered into an agreement with a start-up "nation" that called it self "So and So Corporation" that helped design a genetic template for me. We then applied it to everyone that could reproduce in Leafanistan, and used our Education, Law and Order, and Defense Budget to pay for it. So everyone is.

Women just respond better to the strength enchancements putting them on par with men. We believe it has to do with the strong women reproduce best nature, and our enchancements work best on them.

Of course there were problems. We had a plague of odd cancers called Tetranomas I beleive, where body parts that don't belong start growing. It was all RPed in the original thread, which I can't find. It may have been done by Telegram, I forget. Anywho, we solved the problem by letting those who had these be, "weeded out" of the population. Being a closed nation, no one found out about it. Sorry I couldn't be more detailed on it.

A couple of things that might help you in your quest to flesh-out your nation's character:

1)Good questions, with a 100% income tax, people only get money from "Rebates" where based on how hard you work, (Lots of survalliance on the people). People live conservative lifestyles, there is a class system and private enterprize is being allowed for the first time. Most live in government built apartments or government built houses and pay a rent, since the government owns all the land. So people live a basic lifestyle with few luxuries.

2)Due to space concerns and to maximize living areas most people live in rather large apartments, the lower classes live in smaller ones, and those best off live in conservative houses, though no mansions with 50+ rooms, that wouldn't serve the people.

3)Popular culture recieves no public finances beyond small public arts projects, like poetry on the light rail system, or colorful station murals.

1) What has become of the Red Brigade since the Hebrides Islandia conflict? As I recall, the High Father purged the entire military of Leafanistan because the Brigade had skillfully permeated the armed forces.

2) How, exactly, does the High Father choose his appearance?

3) How are corporations treated in Leafanistan? Are foreign companies allowed to sell their goods in or produce their goods in Leafanistan?

1) Gay marriage is allowed, because the government takes the extreme right position, its not our business. Local townships have outlawed it, but they can just go to a friendly township. The government recognizes it as a social contract, and they recieve slightly more money.

2) The Senate consists of 1 house, for every 10 million people they vote for 3 Senators. Its liberal like the British Parliament with not many regulations so Senate meetings can get pretty wild. Their have been shootings and large fights. Politicians sometimes openly snore with their mics on as loud as possible to irritate others. C-SPAN gets much higher ratings though ;).

3) The best asset would probably be the near fanatic devotion to the nation people are indoctrinated practically at childbirth. The annoying part would be the slow Senate which can take forever to make a decision. That is why High Father our leader can make military decisions without Senate approval for at least 1 standard year.

1) The Red Brigade's leader Comrade General was assassinated by 255070625 operatives who used WMDs to mustard gas an Autonomous area's port city. Of course I'm about to engage in war wth 255070625 for this action. The Red Brigade now is mostly underground, working with the Mafia to rebuild its ranks. The purge caught many and the increased surveillance makes it hard to operate inside the Glorious Republic. They now mostly operate in autonomous areas, dealing arms.

2) High Father has died, many times. Thanks with a deal with another one fo the corporation states wandering around NS we've obtained advanced cloning equipment, the Constitution of Leafanistan says a national public vote will be convened upon High Father's death. Of course, to retain his power, he is "reborn" whenever a body becomes weak. His memories are stored digitally thanks to innovations from another nation. The cloned bodies only last so long, so they are grown to at least age 18 before they are given conciousness and when a High Father dies, another one is substituted, their average age is 55, though some lived up to 70 before massive organ failure. He cannot choose his appearance so readily, so he just picks a body and the one he is in is destroyed, his memories moved to a new one. He has made one alteration, the eye color was set to blue. However, that is where the cloning process gets buggy. The eye color now moves around, blue when he is calm, yellow to red-orange when he is angry, green when he is happy, and brown when he is apathetic. He also has limited psychic abilities, such as telekenisis and the ability to read minds. However, it is only 50-50 at best, he uses it mostly to reinforce his power base and psyche out opposition leaders.

3) Corporations are supposedly 'state owned' but many now practically own the state. Foreign companies are allowed, just that they have to pay for shelf-space or store-space because all land is government owned.

1) Originally inhabited by nomads and a few city states in the Southern areas. Conquered largely by the Mongol Nation. After that broke up, it returned to feudalism. After a while the Imperial Russian Empire conquered the area. Soon it became a Soviet Confederation nation. After the Soviet Confederation fell High Father took power.

2) I'm Chinese-Austrian, High Father is vaguely Middle Eastern-Kazakh, just with odd eyes that tend to change in color.

3) Various, they range from the major language of Anglish to Zantriwian, since we have progressive foreign language programs.

4) We enjoy using obscene amoutns of brute force, along with high technology and unorthodox weapons. Simple feints and complex ruses are also part of this.

5) The first major conflict would be the Saharistan war, after that Leafanistan has had a massive arms buildup, and now engages regulary in international politics.

6) Tourists rarely visit us, when they do they aren't allowed out of New Meiji city or the Sierra Visions Inc. campus. There they can visit monuments to Lenin, Hammer and Sickles, the major musuems, art institutions and a few statues of High Father.

7) Imagine part of Siberia, Korea, China and Japan. With a few modifications that'll probably be it.

Well, I do things to freak people out, I'm the kind of person who while you are talking to, I can suddenly appear on your right, left, in front or behind you. I like psyching people out. You'll see me pull some feints, misdirection, and unconventional warfare.

You've been a good customer, but we have yet to interact muct on international politics. I do play a lot of Red Alert 2, so I'm very experienced in making things come true. It would be nice to use the Giant Squid as weapons. And I'm not really in charge o the WACI, that is The Lone Alliance.

Halberdgardia is a good ally and trading partnet. We can acheive much together, and many more compassionate Leafanistanis identify with Halberdgardia.

I've always acted like the commander but treated Halberdgardia with respect. Leafanistan since it it the largest nation believes itself more powerful. Ih ave no problem with it.

1) I heard you were a godmodder, or just a bad RPer, though IC'ly I don't have an opinon on you.

2) The Army and Marines are focused on heavily, then comes the Navy, followed by Missile Command, then the Airforce.

As for my Airforce, its mostly Lame Bums Su-82s and other such things. With the UC-16 also in significant stocks. In high altitude bombers we have the B-72 Fulcrum which is a high altitude precision bomber. We do posses large amounts of stealth aircraft.

And I'll work with you as long as you PM me the details.
