Van Luxemburg

OOC: Remember that my Space agency, the Van Luxemburgian agency for Space Exploration and Information (VLASEI), is more advanced than the US NASA and EU ESA, and can fund way more than those two. also, this project has been started about ten years ago, and this is completely fictional. no actual planets were hurt during this RP.

Ten years ago
The Spaceshuttle orbited earth, ready to deploy it's load.
"this is Luxembourg space control, deploy Solar sails"
"Roger"
The enormous solar sails were deployed, and the craft began to move.
"I'll see you in a few years, Explorer 1 out."
"Roger, Zeus cannot wait anymore longer."
The Solar sailer moved away from Earth, and headed for what was a vague object on the horizon.
18th of September, 19:00 Van Luxemburgian Time.

The Grand Ducal Prince Anno Van Luxemburg walked through the enormous building of the VLASEI, heading for the control room. he had heard of the Explorer 1, which had reached Planet Zeus, and they were trying to contact it now.
"Explorer 1, this is Luxembourg, come in... Come in...."
a loud crackling filled the space and the voice of Lead Operator Liv Grunström filled the room.
"This is Explorer 1, it's good to be back!"
a large cheer went up from the room, and another one when a monitor showed the face of the lead operator.
"Explorer 1, how is it there?"
"we don't kow yet, we're entering orbit now"
"let us know"
after several minutes, the voice of the Lead operator was back again.
"it's... absolutely... Beautiful here....."
"Could you please send an image of it?"
the monitor began to show some stripes and afterwards, a picture was shown.

"Isn't it beautiful?"
"Eh, Yeah, where have you landed?"
"it seems a top of a mountain, possibly a vulcan, on an island, with several other islands in the region."
"okay, this is now falling under Total secrecy, we're claiming this, aslong as no-one knows, we have it. try to settle yourselves, and we're sending some more people, but could you send more info about Zeus?"
"Yes, that's a roger we'll send some."
The face of the operator vanished, aswell as the connection with Zeus.
On Zeus
"okay, we'll have to do it on our own for now, more people will be sent."
Liv talked to the 100 or what van Luxemburgians who had arrived with several ships, of which some landed elsewhere.
"we're building a camp for now, unload all communication euipment, and all transport equipment, we're lucky we can breath on our own..."
The Craft was being emptied completely, and the astronauts began with colonising Zeus. prefab houses were built, water was being filtered, food was produced, aswell as hunters were being recruited. there was however no Van Luxemburgian Flag outside, to evade discovery.
