Voxyn Information

Characteristics: Voxyn are eight-legged reptilian creatures of immense strength and speed cloned in a special facility deep within Talaaxian territory. They hunt force sensitive individuals through the force and will stop at nothing to kill any force sensitive they encounter. Extremely resilient and aggressive, voxyn are more than a match for most Jedi.

Weapons/Defences: Voxyn are, as with all Talaaxian creations, completely organic and use no mechanical abominations whatsoever. They are able to spit an extremely powerful acid at their prey capable of stripping flesh off bone in mere seconds. In addition, their tail barb and claws contain incredibly powerful poisons able to kill even the strongest humanoid in a matter of two or three hours, generally in under an hour. Their saliva contains numerous infectious and fatal diseases of Talaaxian concoction. As well, voxyn can screech at supersonic volumes. Their screech is loud enough to temporarily deafen unprotected ears as well as knock over and momentarily disable most humanoid species.

In the way of defenses, the voxyn's hide shares many of the same qualities of voduun crab armour making it capable of absorbing some blaster fire and temporarily ( 3-4 seconds ) resisting lightsabers. As well, voxyn blood, when mixed with an oxygen rich atmosphere, creates a powerful and immediately disabling neurotoxin that will disable or kill most species.

Do they hunt only thru the Force or will they attack those wielding lightsabres, even if they aren't Force-sensitive? Also, is it possible to indicate those users of the Force that are not to be harmed, such as how Palpatine and Skywalker were exempt from Order 66?

They hunt force sensitive individuals, not those with lightsabers. However, they will attack and kill anyone if threatened. They sense their prey through the force, meaning that just having a lightsaber won't fool them.

As for selective targeting, in theory they could be trained to not attack certain individuals, however the instinct to attack force sensitive individuals would still be there. They make no distinction between the light and dark side when hunting. They were orginally bred for the destruction of all force sensitive individuals not just Jedi. One could train and condition them not to attack certain individuals, if enough time is put into training them. The best way to avoid being attacked by one, however, is to not come into contact with them.

OOC: I know what Order 66 entails, but it's as close as I can get to a canon example of Force-sensitives killed. The Jedi trainees in the temple wouldn't be considered Jedi, especially the younglings, yet they were still killed because they were training to become Jedi and were Force-sensitive.

OOC; if their in training then they are part of the Jedi order. The idea was not only to wipe out the organisation, but also the teachings. The only Force Sensitives would be trained in the way of the Dark Side. I.E The Emperors Hand.

Order 66 was more of a planned murder of a specific faction; rather than the indescriminate Vong massacre of Force Sensitive, albeit in the aftermath of the Empire's fall these would mostly be Jedi.

@Prates: We do not care who purchases some of our voxyn, so long as they are used to destroy Jeedai. Some exceptions can be made when dealing with certain like-minded sentients, even if they do subject themselves to the use of mechanical abominations. ( OOC: ie, The Peace Brigade )

@Chronosia: We would be willing to sell several packs of voxyn to you. In return we would like either the unrestricted use of one or more of your Rimward hyperspace routes or at least 10,000 individuals for use as slaves.

@Hive Fleet Nergal: We will not sell voxyn simply for the purpose of obtaining their genetic materials. The only reason we are even offering them is so that they may be used against the Jeedai infidels. If you will not be using them for this purpose, then you will receive no voxyn.

Breed? No, voxyn are cloned sterile. As for cloning them yourselves, in theory you could but we do not grant permission for this. We are willing to sell you several packs, in exchange for slaves and any living Jeedai captured.
