The Second Black Crusade Mk.2

Chronosia
17-09-2005, 04:09
The drums of war echoed once more above Chronosia Prime; the throbbing songs of blood and thunder, showered the world in righteous celebration. Even the Sorceror Lord had come from far off Glyph Worlds, to wonder at the spectacle. Seven Thousand ships held orbit about the world; docks of the Mechanicus hissing in production as they worked to adjust and perfect the many vessels of war and transport that now held court about the Jewel in the Chronosian Crown.

Upon blood encrusted throne; ringed with jewels and bone; silks pouring about that honored seat, sat Marcus De Drakan, the Emperor. He let a wry smile cross his needle fanged mouth, his black lips set amongst that angelic face of daemonic glory; watching the preparations., Before him, the countless Marines of his Legions, knelt in solemn oath. Before him, at the very foot of the Throne of Chaos Ascendant; the 8 Primarch Sons of the Emperor, knelt, and offered up their honeyed words of prayer and worship. Each one was as a god amongst mere men; the superhuman fount from which all the Legions sprung.

"My children" His voice echoed, conveyed across space, across the galaxy, to all who would hear him. "We are to be glorious once more. Our armies shall reclaim the stars; we shall spread the words of our great gods from our own borders to those who would oppose us. Those who do not yield, we shall convert by force...We shall bring the very fires of the stars to their knees; and we shall claim all before us for the Great Powers...For Chaos!"

"FOR CHAOS!" The words echoed from each and every Chronosian tongue.

"Thus, here endeth the lesson. And here begins, our day of glory."

Banaan mouthed "For Chaos" as he relived his past conquests. Once he was the Chaos God of Conquer in his own dimension, but he was defeated by his own strengths used against him. He was forced to expel himself as a mere avatar of what he once was. He knew not if his God being still exsisted. He only knew he would have it once more.

The fleet, miniture by any standards, was in orbit around Chronosia Prime, its signatures being disguised to prevent teh Green Sun vessels from firing on them. Admiral Jones was here creating his battle plans. Banaan could sense that someone touched by Chaos was aboard the Andromeda. Banaan closed his eyes and looked through the Cadet's. He still had this power? He thought it was lost. At least he would finally have a true use for it.

"I've recieved word that we are invading the Scandinavians first alongside Chronosia. I have yet to identify our other allies, but I'm confident that this battle will be a victorious one."

"Admiral, why are we fighting this war again? It is not our fight. If this war is to merely improve relations with Chronosia, I simply have to question the President's motives."

"It goes deeper than that, Admiral Ken. This is to prove that our navy is as strong as we have made it. To show that we are not to be underestimated. And the fact that the President thinks that the Imperium of Man needs to be crunched every once in a while to prevent them from causing trouble."

"Not very deep."

"I'm sure the President and teh Emperor have their reasons. We're just here to fight, alright?"

"Yes, sir."

Banaan had enough. There was confusion amongst Green Sun's ranks. This was good. After this war was done, he could use the aftermath of teh war to his advantage. Once more, the universe would fear and respect the name Banaan!

Within a black-walled fortress on the daemon-world of Verghast Primus, Vakumann Soresh - Lord of the Obsidian Guard and ruler of the system - anointed his armour in the four millennia-long tradition of his Chapter. In the eight centuries since they had been denounced by the Inquisition, the purification ritual had survived.
He stood naked before his armour, facing it as though looking into his own eyes. His body was decorated with tattoos of enemies, symbols of devotion and hundreds of battle-scars. Yet mounted upon his left breast, like a pebble within the eye of the storm, was the Imperial Aquila.
The Obsidian Guard had renounced their service to the corpse-god under his leadership, and had prospered since, yet he would not allow their history forgotten. As each marine bore scars and tattoos to remind him of hard battles won and dangers braved, so did every recruit wear the Aquila - that they may never forget when it was cast down into the dust...
Vakumann mind-summoned his implanted carapace vox-link, and spoke directly to his captains;

"Ready the troops. We march into the crucible of war in three days"

OOC: I spoke with Chronosia over msn, and quote him as saying "Sure".

The Palace of the Unliving One, Planaria Nebulous
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The cold eyes stared out at the men who stood against the wall. Frightened men they were, afraid of the wrath of one who had as much power as a god. They were scared of his temper, of his ruthlessness, his minions, the dreaded Skull Elves, but, most of all, meeting his eyes. There had been a legend, once, ages ago, that spoke of the hypnotic power of his eyes.

These men believed it. Once they had believed that Skarn Kazask Al'Koraya was a myth, made up by savages, generations ago, who sat, warming their hands on a fire. They believed, once, that he had been a chief, or maybe a president, of men who still used that outdated tool electricity. But now, they knew better. Thousands of years made no difference to Skarn, he was still as cold as stone, as evil as the creatures that infested earths, killings all that came near them.

"So you say that Chronosia has declared a 'Black Crusade', Gorthanere?" Avoiding his master's eyes, a man stepped forward, unafraid, but at the same time, more afraid than any man could be. He was Draga Gorthanere, a Flotilla Commander who was in charge in the absense of Charles Gudanov. He was the one who had seen the holographic projections of the Daemon Emperor address his dread sons atop the barren world that was Chronosia Prime.

"Yes, your powerity. They said that the Forces of Chaos will again cleanse the galaxy." Gorthanere's voice did not waver, an achievement given the fact that he was facing a being with the magnitude and presence of Skarn. However, that note of fear was very evident, which would obviously have made Skarn smirk...

...on any other day but this. The Unliving One sat upon his throne, thinking. Skarn, despite his vanity, was a very good general, who would recodnize a threat when he saw one. That was what he saw now. "Gorthanere, take Boarag Fleets IV and V to the outskirts of Eastern Chronosian space. It has been a while since the Chronosians last moved...and it has been a while since they engaged the armies of Yafor 2. Let the wrath of Skarn fall upon the Chronosian Imperium!"

He raised his arms in a gesture of celebration. The men lining the walls were quick to acknowledge him and they bowed, their voices at last being found. "May Skarn triumph!" they said, "May all his enemies fall!" they said. Praise rolled off their tongue like water down a waterfall, but Skarn ignored it. Marcus would be angry. And Marcus would know the wrath of one greater than he could dream of; Skarn Kazask Al'Koraya!

The portals to the warp yawned like thousands of mouths, intent on consuming an denveloping the ships that slid forth into the unpredictable eddies of the Warp; twisting and terrible currents of unfathomable power. Severino let a wry smile cross his aged lips; his hand grasping at the staff as his battlegroup slipped forth into the embrace of the Immaterium. His ornate helmet, fitted with archaic devices; a prototype psychic amplifier; even powerful psychic shieldings, gleamed in the sickly light of the dark dimension of the warp. His was but one of three Warfleets on their way to begin the war.

Far across the planes of reality; Remiel sat, reclined like some decadant idol upon his throne; perfumed and incensed, like myrrh annointed pharaoh of some ancient world. He was Lord of Pleasure; chosen of Slaanesh. And as the throne of bone and flesh, silk and gold and platinum caressed his own skin; he let his gasps feed his patron God. He was the Warmaster of the Imperium; his Father's right hand. He was the cleansing wave of Chaos upon the material plane. He was the instrument of his delightful Dark Prince. A laughter bubbled from his throat, echoing about the ship; as the thousand ships of Remiel; and the thousand ships of Severino Jeriacor; moved to war.

And war was what beckoned. No honeyed words of magickal power was needed for triumph, nor pleasure, nor power held any allure for he; Cabot. Warlord of Khorne, Chosen as the taker of Skulls; the spiller of Blood. Upon an ornate throne of gilded skulls; running with the lifesblood of his victims; he let his wild blonde hair throng about his head; running a steady hand through it, before placing that great Skull-faced Helmet upon it. He was the Lord of Blood; he was the taker of Skulls; the devourer of souls, bringer of death, and as his two great Chainaxes roared to life; he cackled with manic glee. War had come; war had come at last.

And so it was; that 3000 ships struck in one blow, against the borders of the Eternal Empire. And the Second Black Crusade; was begun, by the Gods, it had begun....

"My brothers, let me relive the Second Crusade again!" Banaan announced over all frequencies, even amongst the ones belonging to teh Green Sun fleets. The Green Sun fleets were a bit confused by the sudden Black Sun signatures and at first thought that they were simply just error mistakes, but then they realized that when the Black Sun fleets were actually there and warned the Chronosian ships of their presence.
"Fear me not, Admiral Jones, this day we do not fight as enemies, but as conquerors of our true foes, as you and I rightfully are! Let the battles begin!" Banaan told the Andromeda. They continued to join teh Chronosian fleets. Green Sun was either moving to open fire or simply moving to join the Chronosian fleet, but either way, blood would be shed this day.

Just as Banaan liked it.

In space, no-one can hear you scream.

Sixty thousand miles from the surface of the planet Marralax Secundus, the fabric of space ripped and tore, vomiting forth a fleet of warships in haunting silence. As the last escorts passed into realspace, the gateway to the empyrean closed, and the stars were still again.
The ancient Repulsive-class Grand Cruiser, Hand of Unrelenting Fate - captured from the Khornate warlord Jeruuzai the Blood-Mad three hundred years previously - headed the chaos fleet which sank into orbit around Marralax Secundus.
Four Battle-Barges of the Obsidian Guard, festooned with weaponry and daubings, followed in her wake. Behind this clutch of capital ships swarmed a myriad of frigates, troop transports and gunboats, their decks bulging with the professional army of Vakumann Soresh.

-----

On the bridge of the Hand of Unrelenting Fate, Vakumann Soresh gazed from the observation window at the blue-green world below. Suspended in space, illuminated by twin suns, and mirrored by a single forested moon, Marralax Secundus was a paradise of sorts.
A single hive-city lay like a cancer in the nortern hemisphere, the land around it scorched and poisoned with landfills and the air grey. Ninety percent of the world's population, and nearly every PDF trooper Marralax Secundus had to offer lay within the city and the rapidly-growing defences at it's feet.
Vakumann turned, facing the cruiser's captain. Captain Duranis was a veteran of more than a thousand years service in the Chapter. He had personally led the assault on this ship during it's change of alliegance, slaying the Khornate champion in single combat upon it's bridge and losing his left eye and arm in the process. He was now physically bonded with his ship, seeing, speaking and acting through it. He had lost both eyes now, his skull grown over the sockets, but it mattered not. When he cast his gaze he viewed the universe as only he could, through his sensorium and logic cores.

"You may open fire, Captain" whispered Vakumann.

Duranis spoke, and as he spoke his voice echoed from every speaker on the bridge. "As you wish, my lord. Fire torpedoes at pre-designated targets, full spread"

"Aye, sir" replied the adept, "Firing in five...four...three...two"

-----

Six specks of light sped from the prow tubes of the Hand of Unrelenting Fate. Each was a copy of the original STC templates that the Imperial Navy had bombarded it's enemies with for the last ten thousand years, and now they were employed against their former lords. The machine spirits, tortured into submission by ritual after ritual, filtered constantly updating guidance information through their systems, carefully calibrating the strike paths of their charges.
With no effective defence, the six warheads detonated high above the hive-city, releasing their energy in a single, beautiful, cataclysmic blast. The city shook to it's foundations, then died as one.
Close to four hundred million dead inside an hour of the Chaos fleet entering the system.

-----

"All payloads successfully delivered, sir. Target destroyed"

Captain Duranis' voice sounded from the vox once more, "Eighty percent power to engines. Set course for fifth planet, Marralax Primus"

OOC: Random world in Scanda's territory. I ONLY DESTROYED THE HIVE, NOT THE WHOLE PLANET. TARDS :D .. They died because there was nothing to be gained from a ground assault, and the planet was as vulnerable as anything. Fleet now on course for Marralax Primus, the fifth planet in the system, which is well-defended and might prove a bit of fun. I won't give exact numbers right now, because I don't believe that the planet will actually survive. If we do end up losing...? Meh.
Scanda, take your pick of terrain and battlefield, I've purposely mentioned nothing about Marralax Primus for you. My force is mostly made up of professional soldiers rather than untrained cultists, and is about equivalent to Imperial Guard, or Blood Pact, if you've ever read Gaunt's Ghosts.
I'd much rather not lose the Hand of Unrelenting Fate during this rp, as that's my flagship and I'm rather attached to it and it's Captain.

Let's get cracking with this crusade, then.

IC:

Only 14 ships picketed this out of the way system for the Dominion, and they wer not even frontline Dreadnoughts, they were third-tier Battlecruisers and their support units, fighter and frigate wings, as well as a few gunships and a single Arbiter. They were doomed against any real fleet, their only task was to buy time in this scenario, and they would buy as much as they could with their lives...

An armada of Eternal warship numbering 2800 capital ships under the banner of the Eternal Lord Tervica advanced forward to meet the advancing fleets of Chronosia. There the banners of the countless worlds and cultures of the Eternal Empire. As the fleets of the Eternal came within near firing range of their enemies’ fleets they all began to sing a song in the Eternal Tongue to raise their hearts against this great threat of chaos and darkness ahead of them.

Each ship opened its weapon bays and charged their weapons to prepare to fight on the fools who dared to invade the empire of the Eternals. The carriers poured out ten of thousands of fighters that went ahead of the fleet to strike the enemy first and engage the smaller ships before the main clash of the fleets actually began. Meanwhile on the command ship the Admiral of the Eternal fleet looked and stared at the vast of Chronosia and said,” By the Eldest One is has begun. May the Highest One be with us in this battle.”

__________________________________________________________________________

Upon hearing of the attack on Marrralax Secundus an Eternal army of Lord Tervica’s landed on the it’s barren moon where one of their bases was located there an army of 18,000,000 warriors of the younger races had been assembled with a further army 7,000,000 Battle Droids to further supplement their force. On the planet airfields were busy as the fighters were being prepared to cover the ground forces during the assualt. With that they activated their artillery and waited for the first enemy assault to come….

Raising a hand that stopped the massive fleet in its tracks, Remiel stepped forth, with honeyed voice to address the Eternal Empire. He smirked softly, amusement crossing his lips as he began to speak; voice amplified across the vast communications arrays; to all ships present; friend and foe.

"Great Warriors of the Eternal Race. I offer you a chance to save your race; to end this war with words and spare yourselves utter dissolution. We are the warriors of the Gods; the grand servants of Chaos. Relent. Accept the Warp and the Four Powers as your Masters; or burn forever in its embrace. You have our offer; our mercy, before you face utter destruction. I ask you; in this moment-" The weapons of every ship were ready; the shields raised and mighty; the great fleet like a shoal of utter destruction; a vast armada come to pillage, slaughter, destroy and consume...

"Save yourselves; unite with us; serve Chaos. Or Fall forever."

You are a fool to think that we are Eternals or even think we would join your fleet as we all refuse to betray our kin and the Eternals. We would no even consider bringing chaos and destruction to the Eternal Empire which has taken billions of years to forge. We fight now hear to repay the Eternals for bringing order and light to all of our worlds so forget utterly about us joining your force we would rather die then do that.”

With this the Eternals activated their shields and the fighters charged directly at the enemy’s fleet heart hoping to cause them to lose order allowing the initial bombardment by the capital ships to do more damage.

Thousands of fighters poured forth; weapons roaring as the armada poured forth; larger capital ships opening fire with waves of strategic weapons bombardments; the glema of fusion and gravitational weaponry, along with cyclonic torpedoes crackling in the void. The hissing warp cannons of the Imperium roared in fury as they let forth prolonged and terrible blasts of the Immaterium. Lances fired, turbolasers and ion cannons screamed; and torpedoes and missles hurled forth from the vast bellies of the countless battleships.

The fighters dove and whirred like an insectoid swarm; fighters and bombers plunging into death or glory against the Eternal fighters; and onwards; towards the larger ships; ducking and dodging amongst the vast opening Chronosian bombardment.

War had been joined.

The fighters of the Eternals engaged the Chronosian fighters and entered into a bloody battle in it’s own right. While the main capital ships opened their main guns and fired directly into the large ships of the Chornonsian line. The capital ships began to also fire at the enemy fighters with their anti-fighter weapons. Though the battle waged around the non-Eternal Admiral of the Eternal fleet looked at the battle and though was a well seasoned commander he did not what would happen in the battle. In knowing this he decided to order 700 of his capital ships to forms a separate battle group 10 km forward of the main Eternal fleet position. So he hoped it would noticed well, but something may go wrong.....

OOC: I said in the first post that Marralax Secundus' moon is actually forested, not barren. If you've played KotOR II, think Onderon and Dxun, sharing some atmosphere.

IC:
Lord Vakumann Soresh stood at the observation widow, watching his fleet manouver for the jump to Marralax Primus. He could still see the hundred and fifty mile nuclear wasteland that had been the largest city on Secundus.

"My lord" spoke Captain Duranis, "I am registering fortified structures and...troop movements on the surface of the moon"

Lord Vakumann's eyes darted, "Estimated strength?"

"Approximately twenty million individual life signs, my lord. I am also picking up small-scale energy readings interspersed with the troops, possibly infantry power units" he paused, "or combat droids"

"Do you detect any warships?"

"Negative, my lord. Though, it is possible that they have been hidden below ground"

"Deploy all available interceptors to the fleet's starboard side, and divert all shield power to the starboard generators, then continue to Marralax Primus with our defences facing any attack from the moon" Lord Vakumann returned to the observation window, "I will not be drawn into attacking a world of no further value to me when the prize is within reach..."

OOC: I must say that was a bit suspect. Marralax Secundus is attacked and suddenly a 25 million-strong army appears from nowhere, avoids my fleet's sensor sweeps and manages to land on the moon without getting shot out of the sky? And you say I'm godmoding.

The fleet now continues it's advance towards Marralax Primus, it's enemy still ground-bound on Secundus' moon.

The Eternals' soldiers mounted up their defense and began to buil a second lower lying defensive wall around the command center for the added protection and a place to strech out enemy forces further. Meanwhile the High Command of the Eternal forces under Lord Tervica was worried about the fall of the moon so they began to teleport in food and muntions for the effort on the moon. Also the Eternals' armies were unsure of their fate, but feared not defeat or the prospect of death caused by them figthing for the Eternal Empire in this war.

The Green Sun fleet moved to engage teh Scandinavian fleets. They were outnumbered, yes, but far from outgunned or outarmored. Green Sun chose quality over quantity. Large Green Sun ships often had two bridges, Fleetships (Primary ship in a fleet) always did. The GS Flagship had three bridges and could split into three seperate Very Large Battleships it was so huge! Even the fighters were of high quality. The carriers fired off half of their fighters, one thousand fifty in number. Each capable of Hyperjump and could take a beating before they were destroyed, the fighters joined their Chronosian allies and engaged the Scandinavian fighters. Admiral Jones sent out a message:
"If you do not enjoy Chronosia's offer as much, let us make our own: Declare yourself as an ally to the Imperium and the Trinary Empire, and you will be left alone. You will have no obligation to join in on our warpath and we will not excersize any direct influence on your nation. Should you refuse this offer, them it is to war then."

The small system picket moved in, only 14ships strong, but with the sudden arrival of the Eternal forces, they might just have a chance.

As one 3 older Behemoth battlecruisers, much like the modern Leviathan, but minus the Yamato cannon, moved, they may not have been as deadly as most of the enemy ships, but they were likely heavy enough with the fighter support they were now recieving.

The 3 carriers of this older picket were also rather outdated, not even being given a class identifier, simply Carriers, and, with only 50 robot interceptors each, they were rather limited in what they could do, but they moved out too, their close in defenses were going to be needed in the batle to come.

The remaionder of the force was early-model Grizzly Gunships, heavil armed, but lightly armored, they were there to be the fire support for the small unit deployed to defend this out of the way system against pirates and such, now they were not nearly enough, but they would fight, and die, to buy a little more time for the defenders below to prepare for battle.

Mechanisms which had not moved in decades moved again. The Chronosians were going to gain more reinforcements...

Monitors and dreadnoughts moved from their moorings on the Worlds Which Must Be Defended and moved outwards, the Datalink again flurrying with energy and purpose. The lighter ships embarked from their spacedock units, and it was time. The blue-black spheres accelerated into the Outside, then reentered space just outside and behind the Chronosian fleet.

Clouds of missile-busses, the Mechanized equivalent of a fighter in size and shape, erupted from the carriers. Missiles themselves, as large as the MBs, rotated out of their ports on the sides of the dreadnoughts and the Monitors rotated, bringing the single abnromal lumps on the spheres onto alignment with the chosen targets....

Same response to Green Sun.

To ONI Concordiat:
The reinforcements for the Eternal fleet had arrived the dreaded Guardain class ships of the Eternal Empire that were miles long, tall, and wide had come to supplement the Eternals' armada already there. The new fleet numbered 1200 capital ships, all of them Guardian class ships, as well as countless other thousands of smaller ships and fighters along with them.

This new fleet went into the center of the fleet whoely as they were the strongest ships in the armada while the fighters and bombers of the fleet joined in the battle with the other ships of there type. The battle group of seven hundred capital ships that had been disptached took formation at 10 km away and began bombarding at the Chronosian fleet's capital ships.

The Sentiences encased within the warhulls of the ships took note of the new arrivals...their power, their potential abilities. With dismay, the Sentiences noted the Organic crew. The ships, then, were not as large as they seemed, and certainly not as large as a Concordiat monitor. The ships must have a web of hollow, pressurized spaces inside of them. The Sentiences lept for joy, for it was a mistake all Organic ship-builders made.

The Monitors, the size of and harvested from entire planets, were rock solid, save the gunports and armored sensor screens. Kilometer after kilometer of armor plate stood beneath the battlescreens and shielded the tiny computer core within the ship. The abnormalities on the hull were these weapons systems...

Suddenly, like silent machine-guns, the Monitors fired. The gunport shutters opened and closed with a rapidity surpassing that of most space-age weaponry. Slugs with a diameter larger than three kilometers sped from the shutters as they opened. Missiles erupted, each one with a downloaded Sentience hungry for prey. The Monitors each fired three rounds from their main guns within three minutes and stopped, waiting to see the impact. Their computer-targeting would not miss, so it was up to the shields and armor of the weak Organic targets...

Since the enemy seemed distracted by the Eternal fighters, now seemed a good time to strike, so they did, first 3 KEWs headed for the large Concordiat ships that were engaging their Eternal allies, then those were followed up by missiles, a couple hundred, since the grizzlies all flushed their racks, sending out 36 missiles each, then the heavy burst lasers of the Behemoths chimed in, spewing coherent light at the huge targets the ONI vessels represented.

The Arbiter, however, remained silent, it did not move, it did not fire, in fact it seemed totally inactive except for its station keeping drive and reactors being online...

The Arbiter, however, remained silent, it did not move, it did not fire, in fact it seemed totally inactive except for its station keeping drive and reactors being online...

The Concordiat Sentiences reacted with a speed that only a computer can. Point-defense turrets rotated from the hull, opening fire on the inbound missiles as soon as the missiles flashed through the battlescreen. The battlescreens flashed and crackled as the light beams and energy weapons collided with them, lightening arcing between the screens and the capacitors which powered them.

The capacitors soaked up the charge, rerouting it to the selfrepair systems and the point-defense subprocessors as missiles slammed into the planet-sized Concordiat monitors. The tiny missiles spewed death and destruction, rippling the blueblack armor. Of course, the kilometers-thick armor was not breached, not by a long shot. But several sensors were sheared off, and missile-ports ravaged by ions. However, back-up sensors and weaponry again appeared from within the dark ship, and began firing.

The Sentiences continued firing the main-guns of the Monitors upon the Guardian fleet, but the smaller dreadnoughts turned their Hellbore and Hellrail cannons onto the Arbiter and the attacking ships. Directed nuclear blasts exploded from the barrels of the cannons, relatively short-ranged. The spheres fired missile after missile, each one weaving with the purpose of the Sentience encased within it. The missiles streaked outward, followed by the railgun shells. The dreadnoughts unleashed this barrage while closing with the Enemy, doging and weaving with reactionless drives.

The lighter Gunships dodged the fire coming their way, the older Behemoths were less lucky, one was destroyed outright, while another was crippled and badly battered, the third, through some miracle of fate or shiphandling, escaped relatively unscathed, just being grazed by a hellbore blast, instead of taking the full brunt of the firepower sent its way.

Again they fired, and this time the Arbiter moved, no fire came from the seemingly dead ship, just a seemingly harmless energy buildup, that quickly culminated in a less than harmless Warp Tear(not like FTL warp, different type of thing altogether), it was not a weapon in the conventional sense, but, when targeted close enough to an enemy ship, it could make itself a very deadly attack option. Which is why 3 more KEWs suddenly traveled through the tear, to within a few kilometers of the hull, nothing could react fast enough to stop KEWs at that range.

The Carriers deployed their robot interceptors, 150 of the tiny automated fighters swarmed the enemy ship, moving so fast they were almost impossile to hit, and when they were hit, it would usually take at least two to kill the thing, since shields usually took the first shot n full measure.

Since every other Weapon they had was in play, the fighters were deployed as well, Behemoths only had 6 Wraiths and another 12 Valkyries, but the throw weight of a Valkyrie was easily worth that of a light cruiser, with their massive missile pods they could shred capships in short order when they swarmed, sure, they couldn't swarm now, but they could sure do some damage.

The main fleet was on its way, almost the entirety of the Dominion had mustered to fight these bastards, hundreds of thousands of ships were on their way, all three of the Dominions massive Battleglobes would arrive within hours, and then the tide would surely turn in their favor.

The Eternals sent in the Ver'nica class fighters to counter the Nymph Fighters and they were able to hold their own against the little devils. Meanwhile, the man fleet had opened fire on the Green Sun Capital Ship group and had begun to lay heavy fire down on the shields of the ships. Also the bombers began to target the carriers hoping to cut off the fighters and bomber restocking sources.

OOC: Let me make it clear you are NOT fighting actual Eternals. You are only fighting members of younger races that reside in the Eternl Empire.

OCC:Yes, Bolo Hellbores and Hellrails...and I assume KEWs are solid, as opposed to an energy weapon or missile, like a bullet? I will edit this post if they are otherwise.

IC:The numbers arrayed against the Seventh Fleet were large, but the Sentiences were not distressed. Fire pounded their hulls, the outer surfaces glowing white with the heat. Energy weapons continued to ravage the battlescreens, which recycled the energy into the cannon and the screens. The dreadnought group was ravaged, several ships intact but with severly damaged firepower when the gunports melted shut. However, the Monitors were readily intact, their simple planet-bulk and endurachrome-iridium armor diffusing the heat effectively into the cold of space.

Like angry giants swatting at impossible gnats, the Monitors swiveled, firing their main cannons at the organized groups of enemy ships, openeing fire with their own smaller cannon and point-defense on the fighters. Concordiat missile-busses ripped across the surface, tangling in dogfights with the manned fighters, ripple-firing the AFHAWK missiles from their racks and then diving to ram the manned ships, exploiting the sheer gravity of the planet-sized Monitors to increase their speeds to ones which would prove fatal for any organic organsim. Suddenly, three KEWs appeared seemingly out of nowhere and slammed against the Monitors. The battlescreens bled the energy away, but the armor bore the brunt of the attack. The large slugs ripped into the armor of the Monitors and lodged their, infernal spikes stabbing from the heated and slightly molten outer surface. The monitors wheeled, their cannons losing the targets while the intertial dampeners and reactionless drives strove to right them.

The larger missiles swerved onwards toward the Arbiter and the ships accompanying it, their antimatter warheads arming themselves under the watchful eyes of the inhabiting Sentiences. The first wave screeched something similar to joy as they impacted upon the shields/armor of the Enemy ships, their purpose fufilled.

OOC: Scand, what's the surface like on Marralax Primus?

Realspace buckled, screamed and ruptured, spilling forth the fleet of Vakumann Soresh. Ninety-two thousand miles away lay the civilised world of Marralax Primus, where frantic defensive preperations ensued.
Vakumann strolled along the bridge walkway aboard the Hand of Unrelenting Fate, occasionally glancing at the observation window. He paused, then turned to the motionless seated figure of Captain Duranis.

Anti-missile systems strove to defeat the enemy tracking systems, countermissiles flew out to destroy more attackers, even actual weapons were deployed to target the oncoming swarm, in a last ditch effort to survive the onslaught.

But it was not enough, the Behemoth was done for, the gunships were battered and bloodied, only 4 remained from the original force, the fighter wings were pared down to almost nothing, the interceptor squadrons were still at full strength, but only because the replacements were just keeping up with losses. But all was not quite lost, not just yet, because, at that moment the first of the Eternals allies arrived, huge warp tears allowed the ships through any protection the enemy might have put up, and allowed them to get withing range when they arrived.

4 massive ships led the vanguard of Leviathans, three were smaller than the other, since the first Metal Militia II class ship was 6 miles long, compared to the original Metal Militia classes 4 miles, it was a rather impressive van for any force, and more so for this one, 30 massive Leviathans followed up on the MM ships entrance, and that was just the Vanguard of the coming backup...

The MM II and its smaller Consorts all turned on the embattled Monitors, unleashing a coimbined fire of 129 Yamato Cannon Blasts targeted one kilometer of the enemies shields, not even a concordiat battle screen could take that kind of damage and hold...

The Eternals' fleet noticing that they had begun to lay down heavier fire with the Guardian Class ships concentrated on the largest of the enemy ships while the other capital ships of the Eternals launched missiles at the fighters and homed their main down on the support capital ships around the Chrononsian center hoping to take down as many of them as possible.

The Admiral looked through the ship's onboard library and found out that if they were defeated many of his men's skulls would be taken as trophies. He then and there vowed that his skull would not be taken without great price of enemy ships and soldiers. The Admiral picked up his speaker and said to all in his fleet," These forces seek to claim our skulls. Will you let them steal your skull from you? Will you let them gain that honor?"

All the forces of the fleet responded," No we will not let the claim victory as well as our skulls!"

Onboard the ships of Lucian and Remiel; other troops prepared; the manipulative Sorcerors readied in foul droves, ;runes dancing across their ornate and intricate armorsr; while the Noise Marines of Slaanesh prepared their sonic weaponry; and readied themselves for pleasures absolute.

Three Primarchs stood ready; even as the ships shuddered from Eternal fire; one or two ships torn apart; as the Chronosians returned fire with ernest; war was their calling; their vessels were great temples of war and Chaos...Despoiler and Desolator class battleships took the brunt of enemy fire; returning it with an unholy fury and rage, that permeated every action. The Khornate fleet launched its boarding pods; and engaged its teleporters; as did the Tzeentchian and Slaanesh fleets; and with a single terrible stroke; lashed out to take these ships by force. A mighty ship larger than any in the Eternals' fleet so far came out of hyperspace. Upon it was an Elite Guard of the Eternals. He though outranked the Admiral could not take command of the fleet as the Admiral was the only one with the proper training to maintian and command the fleet. The Elite Guard has brought with him two legions (5000 warriors in each) of warriors all of them trained and empowered by the Eternals.

As the ship took center of the fleet four hundred Gurdain Class ships and another six hundred capital ships rallied behind the ship. After gahtering his force the Elite Guard led the charge to meet the oncoming Chronosian ships in open fighting. Yet before the charge of the fleet were the remain of many of their figthers and those of a few dozen small capital ships.

The Andromeda didn't even flinch from the shots fired on it. The Reynolds took moderate damage, but no serious damage was taken by any of the ships. The shields were holding and holding fast. Even the Reynolds, whose first-line plasma shields had dropped, was restoring the collapsed shields.

The Nymph fighters took several casualties at the beggining of the fighter-on-fighter onslaught, not knowing teh strengths and weaknesses of the enemy fighters, but they soon pushed back. Two hundred fifty funerals, however, would have to be arranged for the fighter pilots, while another fifty for casualties on the Reynolds, and one mortal wounding and three injuries on the Andromeda, and the dieing engineer on the Andromeda was rushed to Cyro.

The ships charged their MACs and lasers for another volley and aimed true once more. More fighters were released from the Carriers, Flagship, Destroyers, and Battleships to help the Nymphs in their battles against the Scandinavian fighters.

In space, a seemingly lone ship seemed to float in the black abyss that is space. The ship was a ship of the old Imperium, a strike cruiser, adorned with the sigils of the Ordo Malleus, and the Grey Knights.

Abored the ship, the new leader of the last remaining Azahan Grey Knights, called out with his mind. He was near the border of the chaotic heretic nation that was Chronosia.

Come to me, denizens of Chaos. Here we are, you wish to consume us, maim us, kill us? Come to us, and try. The last major small-force opposition you will probably ever encounter waits for you. The Azahan matter, however, was most most interesting; and the flagship of Archon Lash, the Manus Celer Dei slid forth from the labyrinthian folds of the warp; to meet them. The cruel mocking laughter of its dark lord bellowed across the communications arrays.

Ah, so there are few good foes left still in the Universer. They hide and cower but when they are challenged; they come forth; and fight with righteousness. A pity it shall end so swiftly. Ricaud hissed with his mind.

Your death, Fallen Brother.

Behind the strike cruiser, several disturbences in space occured. It was not FTL drives remerging, but rather ships shimmering back into existance, from their silent cloak. Several medium sized ships appeared, all the same exact class, but many of them. Three runways jutted out from the front, and a large tower-bridge sprung up from the spine of the ships. The ships fromt he front were triangular, in the middle of the ships on all three sides were massive shield generators.

These beasts were the pinnacle of defense capabilties for their relatively small size compared to the rest of the massive ships in the universe. They had a slight offensive capability, four huge rail-guns hithced to the side of the bridges'. These were carriers (http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/7504/carrierfront4dd.png), carrying the symbol of old Azaha, but with a blue fist jutting infront of the old symbol.

Behold, the separatists of old Azaha. They did not like the coming of the Ordo Mallues so long ago, so they broke off and formed their own small empire. Now they aid *us* in the time of need, and we shall crush you... brother.

The fifteen or so small ships(slightly larger than escort size) sat in space, seemingly unstirring. Until they started to spew multitudes of fighters, small ones. Numerous fighters and some bombers flew out of the fronts like bats out of hell.

Archon laughed, a guttural laugh as his great ship opened fire at the central Azahan vessel with all it had; fighters and bombers peeling off from launch pads to assault the others; while space rent behind him; a hundred Black Order warships tearing into existence.

"We expected you to come with trouble on your heels" The other vessels opened fire in a steady, unified wave of concentrated fire. "Allow me to teach you lessons brothers; in death. For, you seem to have trouble learning the basics. You seem to realise that the cause is lost; your people are dead...But I endure. I. Am. Power."

"Unable, commander, we are having a hell of a time dealing with these-Shields 50 percent? 20? Jump out of he-!"

The chatter continued, each radio wave quickly being cut off. The order was given to return to the ships and jump away.

Meanwhile, Ricaud's ship was buffeted by the first wave of firepower. his strike cruiser barely holding against the first attack.

"Admiral, fall back, tactic AMB MK II, disperse!"

Each carrier started to make short hyperjumps, seemingly unable to make longdistance jumps. The strike cruiser on the other hand ripped open a hole in the warp and slipped in, barely dodging the other waves of firepower.

Drenched in blood; claiming skulls with wild abandon; the forces of Chaos plunged headfirst into hell; while other marines opened fire with bolters and plasma rifles. "Bring everything to bear" he whispered "bring them crashing from the stars; and let us feast"

Upon another ship; Cabot watched; eager to take part in the slaughter, hungry to cleanse and kill; to bestride the decks of Eternal vessels and purge them of their filthy inhabitants; robbing them of blood and skulls.

Though many fell; they surged forward as a living wave of destruction and Chaos. Chainaxes were brought to bear; chainswords and terribly hissing Power Weapons. Terminator armored juggernauts opened fire with Storm Bolters and slashed with immense Power Claws; Obliterators stalked forth in all their mutant glory; laying forth the black thunder of Autocannon and Lascannon. Berzerkers fell left and right, Marines were hurled aside; but still they fought; till their last, blood-soaked breath, they fought.

As the vessel advanced; the Imperial fleet; all 3000 vessels, turned their weapons against it; focussing above all on this ship; as the three Primarch's watched on. A wry laughter split Remiel's perfect face; a black howling hysteria seized Cabot; and Severino merely smiled; watching them as each vessel focussed its tremendous power upon that single ship, before the weapons returned to dot the fleet with scathing fire.

At the order of Remiel; they fired at it once again; a strategic bombardment of missles, torpedoes and lance fire; before once again aiming at the fleet. To his right, an explosion split the void; a vessel disintegrating; as he kept his rapt attention on the battle.

"Go forth my children; cleanse! Kill!" Cabot bellowed; while Remiel and Severino each gave the order for Teleport. Sorcerors materialised; hurling bolts of warpflame from their finger tips; driving their wickedly crackling staffs towards the enemy with zealots fervor.

Sonic weapons roared and screamed; sending blasts of raw, visceral sound against the enemy; enough to buckle steel; the amplified pain and suffering rising in crescendos of agony and exhiliration. This was a great day for the Gods.

Warrior preists of the Eternals engaged the dark sorcerors whose power derivied from Chaos and Darkness. This signal fact about them enraged the preists to so a point that they were willing to die to prevent them from teaching their dark teachings to new people. The warriors preists summoned the power granted ot them solely by the Eternals and with they cast fireballs at thier foes to consume the evil and destroy it utterly. Is what they hoped would happen.

The great ship bore great damages at it's outer hull was smashed and many holes open and many lives of both boarders and even more soldiers of the Eternals were lost from the vancum of space consuming them before the air locks in the damaged passways were destroyed. Then concretrating all the mighty ship's avaible energy fired it's main weapon that was already fairly damged and was sure to be destrpyed after this shoot, but they didn't care so they fired the weapon directly at a large group of enemy capit ships.

The immense blast utterly destroyed three ships; a forth torn clean in half; vomitting debris and personnel into the void, before it too succumbed; plunging through the abyss like some vast, injured monolith, exploding in a rain of flame and warp energy. Remiel bellowed in laughter; ordering the immense weapons batteries of the fleet to open fire; the sundering blow against ship and fleet; "Crush them!" Came his order "Bleed them dry; let them lose and see the futility of opposing Chaos! The Gods are with us, brethern! FIGHT!"

And fight they did; the warp cannons roared in daemonic discharge; missles and torpedoes howled through the void like banshees; intent on bringing death to the enemies of the Imperium. Lance batteries sent their deadly blasts forth; as another wave of Dreadclaw assault craft scythed through space towards the Eternals.

The sorcerors cackled in insane glee as their warp spawned magicks met those of the Eternals; a vast arcane cacophany filling the surrounding areas; as some fell; bursting into eldritch flame; consumed by the Warp they had served, in death. Warp vortexes were hurled forth with mere flicks of the wrist; Sorcerors, many of whom were Alpha Class Psykers, set their powers against ship and flesh; setting their immense psychic gifts to tear and rend and punish; they would warp this ship for Tzeentch.

Slaanesh's devotees howled in unknowable pleasure as they were cut down; while the Sonic Cannons still blazed; combat drugs coursing in visceral sensation through their tarnished veins; opening fire over and over and over; laughing like madmen, snarling like Daemons, crazed with lust.

The Khornate attackers kept on fighting; weaponsfire poured into their tormented flesh, and only at the last moments did they succumb; others fought on; gore stained; belts wreathed with skulls; sloshing through blood as they sought to take more skulls; or to drive Chainaxes in carnal union through ribcage and viscera.

Lord Malice had again sensed something in her meditations, something that interested her greatly. So she had called her top-ranking commanders to the bridge of The Wraith, and now they knelt before her.

"Rise."

Malice spoke, though, it was not her true voice, but again whispers in all of her men’s minds. They did as they were told immediately.

"I have sensed something in my meditations...a war is brewing. One that will give us the chance to expand our borders...this 'Black Crusade' and these forces of Chaos will be of great use indeed...leave only a small detachment here, the majority of our fleet is to assist Chronosia..

Each of them nodded and let a small "Yes, Lord." roll out of their mouths. A small smile drew across Malice's face, for she knew that the blood that was already being drawn on the battlefields of the Second Black Crusade were but droplets of what certainly would be rivers...

Statement from the Sith High Command:

The Empire announces it's official support of Chronosia in this conflict, as we our selves walk a similar path. We, like them, are called heretics and traitors by the ignorant. It is high time we show the ignorant the true strength of the Dark Side...

By the time this message was sent, the Sith Fleet was already in hyperspace, destined to arrive at the sight of the battle within a few minutes...

The main ship of the Eternal fleet that was leading the charge after suffering great damage the Elite Guard commanding it ordered it to go along side the flag ship of the Chronosian fleet. The great ship after bearing much enemy fire came to the enemy ship's from there many thousands of warriors both teleported and boarded the enemy ship's outer interiors areas. Immediately they engaged any enemy soldier or ship personal that they could find.

The priests of the Eternal fought hard against the worshippers of the arcane around them though groups of them fell. The priests held the line with discipline thought their enemies were turning into demon like fighters they did not flitch from their attackers though the troops nearby were disheartened and some fled the priests rallied them and renewed their hope. The priests them led charges against the forces of Chaos leading their allies around them in battle none of them fearing the darkness that they faced as they knew the Eternal were watching over them and if they died they would go to never ending life and be taken to perfect paradise for the rest of eternity.

No man can simply walk into a Chaos vessel; no interloper can chose to stroll into Hell; far from being lined with good intentions; the interiors of these vessels were lined with bolter turrets; roaring bloody,. almost carnal discharge; as though the turrets themselves were alive. Areas writhed with flesh and sinyew; moving and twisting; figures reaching out with clawed hand to grasp at the intruders; even as the first roars of lasgun fire echoed; the defence teams moving; Guardsmen firing with lasguns; hurling grenades; while behidn them came their terrible Masters. The Chaos Space Marines offered only death to those who came before them; and upon the Transcendant Humanity, one of the Eternal's servants had the misfortune of appearing before Remiel himself.

A Power Clawed, hissing, crackling hand grasped the beings throat, lifting him into the air; static with the energy of the claw, hot with psychic force; as Remiel focussed his considerable talents on the beings form; something popped within its skull; it's mouth went slack, a hoarse whisper creeping forth with almost languid breath, a trickle of blood slid from his nose. His flesh seemed to undulate; the popping noises increasing now; it's whimperings unbearable, intensifying into sobs, screams; as every single nerve in his body was torn apart by sheer pain and unknowable pleasure. Remiel tilted his head slightly, then tossed the body to one side; drawing the great Daemonhammer from his back; it's symbol that of the Inquisiton; it's surface alive with psychoactive crystal and hissing with the power of his own mind. In his other hand, he bore a Stormbolter. The bridge had emptied, none remained, all had gone to fight the insidious Xenos foe; but he remained; rerouting Vox throughout the ship to his own frequency

"BROTHERS! We fight this day, we fight our enemies; that we may bring them salvation in Death! They fight because they are Alien, they fight because they are Heretics! We have seen the light of Chaos! We have seen the doom of Worlds! Let no man tell you we are filth and degenerates; let no one say we are inferior! WE ARE LIONS!" His voice boomed; he spun, moving through the Corridors; openign fire with Stormbolter; swinging with great arcs of his Hammer; roaring in primal fury; a Squad of Terminators had moved to defend the Bridge; throughout this ship and others; there was frenzied claustrophobic fighting; firefights between zealot and heathen.

"This day, we are their Servants! We will know no fear! We will know no surrender! By the Throne we shall drive them back; and by the Gods, we shall purge them! WE ARE HIS CHILDREN! WOuld you fail him in Death!? Would you deny him in Imperfection!? NO! WE SHALL NOT FAIL! FOR THE EMPEROR!"

And his cry echoed on the lips of every warrior upon this vessel; and across the fleet. The Emperor watched this day! The Emperor protected! The Emperor was with them; all about them; his power fuelling them; his aura enveloping them! He was their Master; their Father; Lord of Mankind! Let the Xenos stand against them if they could!

The soldiers of the Eternals refused to give in to these darkc reatures while their lvies lasted, but yet they fell in great numebrs brining down as many enemies that they could reach before they meet the end in this battle. Yet slavation yet be achieved for all the souls of the fallen if they remained faithful to the Eternals till the end their souls would be saved and paradise would be their forveer more.

Meanwhile the fighting on the flag ship raged as the boarders on the ships in their sperate areas were either pushed back or they gianed ground. Confronting the commander of the Chronsian fleet the Elite Guard of the Eternals drew his blade to face him. He then said," You have come challenage me who was trained by the Eternals themselves and given great powers and ablities beyond all normal peoples. But,I sense that you are different then many of those that I have faced so far. That you are empowered to a greater degree then the rest of them."

"Yes" Remiel chuckled, cackling in insane, sadistic glee. "Yes, come; taste death; let me bring you eternal pain; unlimited pleasure. Come little beings; let me shatter you" Lashing out with Daemonblade and Power claw; he growled; roaring in raw indulgence as he attacked; power overwhelming him as he lashed out, over and over again; each marine about him fighting with limitless power and desire; some falling; while others plunged into the fray; chainswords whirring; grenades detonating; weapons roaring.

The vessels opened fire, hurling their destructive payloads forth in black indulegence; weapons howling like banshees; alive with agony and roaring with destruction. .Plasma and lance fire annointed the void; missles and torpedoes hurtled forth; even as warp cannons fire. Shields flickered in the void; while other hulls tore asunder; spiling contents into the void; personnel and debris pouring into the abyss; as the black laughter of the three Primarchs echoed; and they fought onwards.

This bastard race and their infantile servitors would not defy the mighty Imperium; they would not survive the wrath of the Emperors chosen! Not here; not now; not under the fire of the glorious Imperium.

The Elite Guard said," Let us begin our own personal battle.'

Upon saying this he lodged forward with his longsword directly at the dark being that he was about to face, but his fae was full of the light of the Eternals and it seemed he was entirely empowered by them.

The soldiers saw their leader face the enemy with such valour it raised their morale very greatly and thus they fought with all their might, skill, and being against the Crusader of darkness and chaos. Every one of the soldiers then lodged into a great charge trying to grab victory for the glory and life of the Eternal Empire and for the good of their home worlds. Many priests of the Eternals also joined in the charge agiant the Chronosian hoping to be of some use in order to attain victory over the darkness and chaos that they faced that day.

He lashed out with the mighty Daemonhammer; slamming it towards his foes as he opened fire with stormbolter; the HE shells pouring towards the foes he now faced. The Terminator squad fired as they moved; autocannons cutting into the masses of Eternal troops; while death held sway all about them. Sonic weaponry cut through the screams and anguish; Noise Marines fighting with devotion to Remiel and Slaanesh.

A parrying blow from the longsword of the Eternal's warrior knocked the bolter from Remiel's hand, his fingers closing around the hilt of the Daemonblade; it's whispering voice echoing in his mind. It burned for him at heart; it yearned to feed; and as he drew it forth, the blade seemed to dance with absinthe flame; emerald vitriol coruscating across the weapon; his laughter echoing as he lashed out; Hammer and Blade eager to feast

Darkness and Chaos ruled this day upon the black vessel; Bolter turrents and other defences howled like lust-maddened banshees; Daemonettes flitted about like shadows; seductive harpies, Sirens to lure them to the rocks of heresy and damnation. A raw chuckle echoed; as a Keeper of Secrets rampaged through the corridors; it's gaze showing every secret lust that man held in their pulsing hearts.

The taint of Chaos was everywhere; the bridge and corridors adorned with runes; the pathways faltering into flesh, a thousand entombed, half-mad beings clawing at them through a sea of gibbering corpses. A fine example of a vessel of the Gods; a floating war-machine and temple; an altar of direst perversions to sacrifice to Slaanesh, with all their lusting hearts

Many of the brave warriors that served the Eternals fell that dya as the Termiantor unti destroyed those that were in their way, but the priests fought back against being able to hold back at last their orginal assualt tatic. While Knights of the Eternals began to arrive in the hardest of the fighting to reinforce the lines and attempt to gain ground in this battle.

In response the Elite Guard then said," Maybe our nations may reach a compromise in order for your forces to withdraw and that peace may be restored?"

Remiel chuckled, spitting at the Elite Guard as he lashed out again; both weapons alive with daemon soul and resonating psychic force. "Perhaps you can grovel before me like the worm you are. We do not abandon that which we come forth to do. We shall not falter in the face of your arrogant taint; we shall not leave without reward and prize for my Father!" Again he attacked; his will focussed against this warrior; this gnat to be crushed.

All about; fire lit the ship; bolter turrets firing; Terminators laying down waves of Autocannon fire; even as one of their number fell. Obliterators shambled forward; lascannon blasts tearing at the priests and the knights as they moved forth; flesh fused to armor; weapons merged as one with fighters; their obscene bellows echoing as they attacked. Raptors plunged forward; sailing on jet packs while chainswords howled in raw, animal passion.

These filthy degenerates; these misled lesser beings who followed the fool Eternals as though they were gods; would be cleansed and purged of their tainted heresy. And a new era would rule the stars; an era of Chaos and Darkness; for the Eternals did not rule the stars, nor govern the universe; they were another foolish race; another prostrate being, lapsed in awe and fear before the true gods. They needed only to be enlightened...

OOC: The reason why I want to leave this thread is so that i cna recoencrate on the Eternal race and the Dark Eternals in a major war against each other because it has nearly been half a real year since the last one.

IC: The Elite Guard said," The Eternals are forgiving of thee not wage war directly against you. For they find a war against you may draw out your kind. But, yet even their power is not infinite as the Eternals since the start of this war have not sent us here. We all came of here of our own free will, but I have betryaed the Eternals themselves who raised ans perserved my life on the verge of death have forgiven me, but have withdrawn their gifts. Yet in my death is the salvations of all who have fought here on both sides of the battle as my blood shall be an offer of sacarfice. This is not a victroy for your forces nor the Eternal Empire, but for the hope of salvation of all. The corruption of my betrayal and this battle shall not consume me. Hallowed are the Eternals and great is their mercy!"

Upon saying this he struck himself with his sword killing him instanly, but instead of his obdy dropping to the ground it was engulfed by a light entirely and there his sould and body were brought to an unknown place to those around him. So all the forces that were fighting on behalf of Lord Tervica surrdnered their utterly and with them came worlds in other galaxies that were nearer to the Chronosain borders where most of the of the warriors fighting there had been recutied from. In hopes of attaining peace with Chronosia seeing as the Eternals had punished them for disobeying him gave them and from the worlds that had surrnedered offered ten million sacarfices a years for the next ten years for the gods of Chaos, but yet the Eternals had will not abandon those that had remained faithful to them and in response and therefore had blocked the area leading to the Eternal Empire by some energy that prevented the forces of the Black Crusader from waging futher war agaisnt the Eteranl Empire. It was hard to determine if this was the power of the Eternals or techhonlogies or maybe perhaps some mix of them, but only the Eternal truly knew the answers to this.

We're here to help Chaos. So let's make Chaos.
They were small ones, but they would work well against the Fighters. Most of the Black Sun ships opened airlocks and entire squads with what seemed to be anti-tank weapons. They aimed at areas with more of the Imperium of Man fighters in them than allied fighters and fired. Dark orbs flew towards the clusters of fighters and time and space itself was distorted.

Only Banaan himself knew how they had acquired such devatating technology. Green Sun had developed the Space Disruptors as a new weapon to prove to its more advanced allies that they were a force to be reckoned with. Space Disruptors bended time and space itself and dissentegrated its targets into antehr dimension. The process usually killed the people inside it and destroyed the target into scrap metal in the other dimension.

During the tests, Green Sun used a disabled Large Cruiser with a large model of the Disruptor. They have yet to find any trace of the cruiser, save for an Escape Pod seat.

The disruptors did not open any wormholes or accessed Warp or anything of teh sort. They mere tore space open and quickly closed it. Space Disruptors are highly experimental and much research has yet to be done on them, but nonetheless, Admiral Jones had them installed on the Primary Fleets (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Mechanized). Black Sun was able to use the technology to create smaller versions to be rifle and bazooka-sized versions of the cannons.

"They yield! The cowards yield; and such rewards! Such gifts!" Remiel cackled insanely; grinding his boot into the ground where the Elite Guard had stood; whirling, eyes blazing as he surveyed the departing fleet of the Eternals. "You see! They are not Gods! They are not all powerful! They are swine! Hiding behind their veils, technology hiding them from our righteous Wrath! They are cowards and fools; defiling the universe with their self-righteous, fear-ridden taint!"

"Now; where next?" He chuckled lightly, a hand reaching out to cup a star caught in the viewscreen "Where shall we go next? What horrors shall we unleash..And upon who? Old enemies? New Foes? We shall slay them all; for Chaos wills it!"

And it was over, just as the Sith fleet appeared in normal space. Many of the soldiers and pilots were very disappointed, their first chance to draw an enemies blood was gone, but Lord Malice was not so sure...

"Should we withdraw our fleet?"

One of her advisors asked. She shook her head.

"No...I am not quite sure the Black Crusade is over...we shall remain...Tell Jade to inform the forces of Chaos of this..."

The advisor bowed, and it was done.

Fools; it is never over...Chaos is endless in its hunger! From black depths we rise to consume worlds! To burn them to ashes in our wake! We shall sunder systems; we shall shatter all before us, till none remain! Over! It is just begun!

It would never end; gods willing; it would never end. Stretching out upon infinity; looming over the galaxy like some tyrant fiend, the Crusade had wrung its first victory from Eternal neck. Now others would succumb; others would fall before the blades, and be consumed; devoured, bled dry of all that was of worth...

The only quandry was who? Where to begin? Who was worthy to be converted...

OOC: I'm tired of waiting for ONI to respond, so, here comes my fleet to kill you all...

IC:

Approximately 30 minutes after the appearance of the Vanguard, the rest of the Terran Dominion fleet jumped into the system, hundreds of Leviathans, nearly 1,000 Carriers, thousands of Gunships of both models, nearly 3 million fighters of various models, all were tasked to the defense of the Eternal Empire against the Imperiums expansion, they were more than the Dominion could really spare, and they were leaving the rest of the forces of the Dominion over-extended in the extreme, already a Civil War was brewing as the main forces of the Terrans prepared to deal with the Chaos warped enemies of their allies.

The emerging fleet had only one real target, the Chronosians, once they were done with, the rest would break, or so they hoped.

The Leviathans all struck, Yamato Cannons sent condensed energy towards the Chronosian heavy units, while Carriers spewed interceptors, and Gunships readied their heavy weapons for battle, Valkyries, Wraiths, Genesis Interceptors, Corsairs, Scouts, and Bloodbath Interceptors all went to maximum speed and closed with the enemy, they were nowhere near as powerful as the Capships, or even Gunships, that were deploying alongside them, but they had a lot more in the way of numbers, and approximately 1\4th of them were invisible to the naked eye and sensors under their cloaking fields, sure, they could be backplotted, but with something moving as fast as the fighters were, it was going to be difficult.

OOC2: I have returned.
