The news reports regarding widespread famine in our country are sensationalist in nature. We have NO problems with mass starvation at this time. It is true that our crop yields have been disappointing this year, but the stories mentioning looting, civil disorder, cannibalism, etc., are fabrications and exaggerations!

Several media outlets have reported gunfire in the streets of New Paris, allowing their viewers' imaginations to run wild. Let me assure you that the gunfire is simply overly exuberant celebration over a proposed national holiday. We are in complete control here.

In unrelated news, we beseech the UN and humanitarian agencies throughout the world to send food, potable water, medicine, ammunition - anything. We desperately need grain to avert a catastrophe this winter.

The Annunakian Kingdom of Concremo would be more than willing to send aid in the form of surplus military rations and lots of old firearms left over from the Revolution. In return, we ask for 10-20% of all Capital Criminals (or merely violent criminals if you do not have the death penalty) to be shipped to us every month for as long as our aid is delivered. We should have large ammounts of medicine available shortly, and if required can take more direct action to aid Tanry-Vu.

Official Response from the Sucellan Governance

The Sucellan Governance, a nation priding itself in furthering medical and educational pursuits, will openly accept any citizens of the nation of Tanry-Vu, where they will be given shelter, food, water, and medical treatment.

Additionally, the Sucellan Governance will be producing medicinal components and food and water rations to send to the nation.

A note about our food: We culturally have beef and salsa as staples of our diet, so our food may seem odd to your nation as our cultures are no doubt very different. Do not worry for your health, however. All food that will be prepared is to be prepared to the highest standard of health regulation.
