Re: Political and/or Military Alliance

Good Day,

I write to you as the President of the newly formed People's Republic of Uzakastan, a new nation with a population of 6 million citizens. Our new nation wishes to extend a hand in friendship to any willing country who shares the ideals of freedom, democracy, and peace.

As a new nation, we can not offer much when it comes to military support although all will be offered. What we can give is homeland support. We will house any military units in the time of war, with the immediate support of our government to back your country in any crises you face.

We only have one condition, and that condition being is you respect our belief in peace. We will not support any country who declares war on another if it's for the sole purpose of acquiring territory or simply bringing about destruction of a rival. We will support countries in war if they've been attacked, or entered into a war to maintain their independent status, but in no way will we support sinister and unjustifiable acts against another country.

All we ask is for the same. We want to allign ourselves, ideally, with a powerful nation. A country who can help us grow and maintain our independence. We want nothing more then freedom and friendship with our neighbors and if any country out there is willing to support us in our fight for peace, prosperity and friendship please do respond.

We thank you,

President Vladimir Yuklav, The People's Republic of Uzakastan.

The Second Empire of the Golden Throne is interested in a possible cooperation between itself and the People's Republic of Uzakastan. Unfortunately, this cooperation cannot include military cooperation since we never align ourselves militaristically with Communist nations, denoted by your title of a people's republic. That withstanding, we are willing for an economic treaty with Uzakstan, including the possible total reduction of trade barriers.

Also very unfortunate, we are not a democracy, and we are not a peaceful nation per se. Indeed, currently we are in the midst of the War of Golden Succession, and perhaps another military action around Noddestan. Regardless, we believe that Uzakstan would be extremely benefited by tying themselves economically with the Empire. Imagine the influx of money from the Empire's huge economy coming into Uzakastan - it would be largely tremendous.

Nonetheless, we leave the final decision to you, President Vladimir Yuklav.

As a nation of over 30 million people and with a very powerful economy, Athiesism, although currently just recovering from the effects of a devastating Civil War against religious fanatics, is devoted to democracy, peace and justice. We have at our disposal significant industrial resources capable of supplying your army and your country, plus battle-hardened veterans to train your troops. Self-defence is essential in our chaotic world, and we would like to extend a helping hand to one of the few democracies out there.

Hello,

We have received your reply to our message. After doing research on your country, we would be delighted to engage in an alliance with your nation. If you'd like to have a personal representative contact us via telegram or another preferred method to discuss the details and come to an effective agreement for both sides, I have no doubt our Parliament would accept the alliance proposal.

Sincerely,

President Vladimir Yuklav

Good day,

After discussing with my advisers the disadvantages and advantages to seeking an economic treaty with you, we will it's in our best interest to do so in a conservative and limited fashion. We would not like to sign an alliance with your nation at this time, but I do believe an economic treaty would not break our guidelines. Please feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience to iron out the details so I may propose this to our Parliament.

Thank you,

President Vladimir Yuklav
