OoC: I Fat Monkey 13 and Potty 5 are both my accounts. I created the disputed territories of Fat Monkey 13 in order to have a country that Potty 5 could invade to gain access to the sea (as Potty 5 is landlocked). Both nations are modern tech nations and have extremely mountainous terrain with many rivers. The temperature and humidity are high and most people live in rural town. The disputed territories are a long strip of land running from north to south on to the east of Potty 5. “Fat Monkey 13” is the name of the emperor of Potty 5 and he claims the territories belong to him. The disputed territories lack decisive leadership and have been in a state of civil unrest with two civil war in recent history. Manny of the refugees are living in Potty 5 where they are treated just like citizens. Both countries have extremely low population densities as most of the land is not suitable for living on or farming (it is also very rocky).
Today 50,000 troops from potty 5 marched into the disputed territories along with armored support. They currently are engaged in the occupation of the city of Ka’plut. Ka’plut is home to half a million people who call the disputed territories their home. The unexpected attack occurred at 1:00 AM when 20 Leopard 2 tanks rolled through the border and progressed 50 miles to the city. Arriving at 11:00 AM most of the members of the Militant Southern Capitalists believed to be as many as 100,000 thousand had already fled further south to the countryside. The potty 5 forces have encountered sporadic resistance and reports claim that one of the Leopard 2 tanks has lost its tread due to resistance rocket fire. While the Empire of potty 5 claims that this is to bring stability to the region many believe that this is invasion is for the sea access that the costal disputed territories offer.
