Royal Consul Daniel De Vito landed at Northhampton International Airport, in the diplomatic terminal. Guards lined the ramp, saluting him. Trumpets blared from behind him, and he stepped onto the tarmac. He turned around, saluted, and shouted,
"Hail Cherry Ridge!" Turning around, he entered a black limosine, with Ridgian flags on the front. He arrived at the First Speakers office. Saluting Imitoran guards, he walked inside. He emptied his side arm, and walked briskly up to the office, and waited. He was wearing shiny black shoes, black pants, and a white shirt, with black uniform jacket. His chevrons had an olive tree. Duty belt around his waist, with holster attached.

The door clicked silently, and slowly swung open. The Consular was ushered into the room, where he quickly came under the watchfull eyes of four men, all wearing black suits with black shirts, and crimson ties. When the men moved, the pulling of their jackets revealed holstered UMAC models of SigSaur P228s.

Another man, dressed similarly, stepped up from behind the Consular, and spoke softly. "Sir, if you'll follow me." He stepped around the Consular, and into another room. The door to the ante room clicked shut quietly.

Fratelli was sitting behind her desk, jotting down notes of some archane nature. She looked up, and smiled, standing. "Consular De Vito, its a pleasure to finally meet you," she said, walking around the desk. The young leader had a slight, almost non noticable limp, but her gaze was firm, and so was her handshake. "Before we get down to buisness, can I get you anything to drink?"

"Im fine." he snapped. He was nothing like King John, or his namesake the Cardinal. His cold eyes glared at her. he had heard the Cardinal telling the King that it was a bad choice. He had never liked his uncle since confirmation day. He had lvoed him until then- even picked the same confermation name. His uncle, then only a monsignor, had warned him about the dangers of sex before marriage, and to continue to attend church. He had exploded telling him to stay out of his life. He was known as a ruthless leader, but to the public, he was a charmer- until you met him personally.

"Ms. Fratelli, lets get down to business."
