Good evening. Today, September 13, is a day which live in infamy in Yerengovich. Military installations and public buildings were attacked. We lost nearly 500 brave soldiers from the 2nd Infantry Division. Also, more than 750 innocent citizens were killed in the bombing of an office building. These unspeakable, intolerable acts will not go without retaliation! We believe the mercenaries responsible for both attacks were hired by the U.N. as response to our talks against the United Nations. When we find these cowardous mercenaries, they will be trialed, and either imprisoned or executed. As we spen the entire day of September 14 mourning, be sure that on the 15th all of our Paratroopers, Infantry Divisions, Tank Regiments, Fighter and Bomber Squadrons, Naval Forces, and Nuclear Weapons will be ready to deploy at a moment's notice.
Dear Yerengovich,
While we sympathize with the pain and suffering that you have suffered at the hands of these mercenaries, we plead with you to not jump to conclusions about the whom hired these terrorists. You can rest knowing that we of Haughey hope and pray for the violence to end and these evil men be brought to justice.
However, your threat against, in reality, the entirety of the United Nations is a mistake. If you were to attack, you would be obliterated from the map. So, with respect to the world and yourselves, do not launch a pre-emptive strike.
If the United Nations did, however, hire a mercenary group to attack you, then do the smart thing, not the brave thing.
I must activate the Home Guard and the 1st Fleet dispatch to ViZion is cancelled due to this threat. While we hope no more blood is spilled over this tragedy, it would be a folly to lay ourselves bare. The 2nd Armor and 18th Infantry divisions will not depart tomorrow to fight the Civil War, but will stay here.
Let no more death come to our nations.
