I have been hammering out the details for this ship on the Lineart forum, and any ideas would be helpful. Here are the specs so far:


Propulsion:
11x JC-X light-weight Nuclear reactors, assisted by a PCX-steam system(Like that on a Kirov class ship.)
Length: 1000m
Beam: 220m
Draft: 28m
Displacement: 2.85 million Tons
Top speed: 35 knots, 35+ With steam system in full use
Air completement: 28 YAK-141's, 25 ASW helicopters
Armament:
12x24in ETC guns, in four triple turrets
30x5in rapid-fire guns
35x 30mm "Metal slug" CIWS
10xVLS 375-celled launchers, containing Willink LNF Long range heavy anti-ship missiles, SS-21-X SAM's, and Tomahawk cruise missiles, and X-24 Nuclear anti-ship missiles if required.
12x 21in Torp tubes, armed with either Mk-46 model 9's or Willink Mk-57 Model 12 torpedoes.
20x Torpedo defense super-cav CIWS
20x Rolling airframe missiles, sextuple launchers
8x LX-15 Microwaves; Oxygen Iodide laser-defense system that disables the targeting computer of anti-ship missiles
40x12.3mm machine guns.
Armor:
Uranium-depleted panels built into outer Hull, Atlantic bow, anti-torpedo bulges, fire redundant F45 Sprayed in a thick layer on walls, Engine armor consists of light Hafnium Carbide armor, after being processed from a powder to a metal, and hardened steel. Hull armor: 1,500mm Magazine and turret armor: 1,650mm, Superstructure and other deck-held parts: 1,900mm, Radar absorbant materials on hull and superstructer.
Radars:
Air search: ITT SPS-48E, 3D; Raytheon SPS-49(V)5, in Phased Arrays
Suface search: ISC Cardion SPS-55
Navigation: Ratheon SPS-64
Fire control: Willink SPC-74, based on a heavily modified RCA SPG-62 system.
Sonars: SQR-19 passivly towed array

Again, other ideas for these ships would be helpful (Ie: different types of armor, weapons loadout, ect..)

Willink plans to build 3 initally, and then a further 3. In the event of war, 6 others would be constructed. To assist alongside willink's 4 SD's. Willink will be accepting orders of the ship, and will build it accordingly for the wanting nation.

Well you coudl always raise a quibble on this being a battlecriuser of any sort, if you were to use the original defination of the BC compared to a BB (ie same guns but faster and lighter armour) you might juts be scarpping it with a 35knot speed, i suppose and compared to a 3.5million ton super battle ship this might be a super batte criuser.

Overall superstructure design will look like this, except nuclear power (no smokestacks) and with obvious weapon diferentials.

Well, lose the quadruple turrets first...their not effective enough due to the space needed and the fact that one shell could nock out alot of your firepower.
So either, dump the quadruples and go for triples or add another turret.

Also, include more VLS cells...and don't forget about CIWS, its realy important when facing a near wall of missiles and such...

As for the entire thing, I think its rather over-powered, take 20' guns or something, it'll lower your firepower, but increase range and amount of ammo you can carry.

That is not what the hull looks like, just what the superstructer will look like. It is nearly 3/4 longer, and with 12-24in in 4 triple turrets, and wayyy more Vls launchers, and totally different weapons than the rendering.

Yes, but it willink will not provide radar and weapon systems, you must use and apply your own.

No, not they actual weapons, the targeting/weapon mangement system.
