Lieutanant Adrian Shepard yawned loudly as he watched the foreign ships land to the facility.
"Dammit, today's the tour. Gotta look pretty for the foreigners," he moaned. He stood up and donned his body armor, put his pistol in it holster, and placed his GS ALR-73 laser rifle in the holder on hsi back and walked to the entance hall. There, Dr. Freeman, Coons, and Kats were waiting. A private stood at attention next to them and one of the GASTABA armored gaurds stood next to a to-secret door.
"Where were you, Shepard? They're here," Dr. Freeman hissed.
"Just getting ready, sir," he said sleepily.
"Well, just take your post and smile!"
"Yes, sir," Shepard said through his teeth with a large, fake smile on his face. He changed it to a pleasant, welcoming smile, which would send most small children running and screaming for their mothers. The door opened as the foreign scientists stepped into the facility. A large Green Sun flag was hung behind him and the flag for the Federal Trade Union, which this facility would become a part of eventually, was imprinted on the floor.
"Greeting, and welcome to the Green Restoration Facility. I am Head of Security, Lieutanant Adrian Shepard," Shepard said welcomingly, which sounded like he was about to threaten their mothers.
"And I am the administrator and head of the Terrology department, Doctor Gerald Freeman," Dr. Freeman said, bowing.
"I'm Doctor Calvin Coons, head of the Biology department."
"And I am Doctor Ivan Kats, overseer of ze construction and engineering of ze facility," Dr. Kats said in his russian accent, bowing along with Dr. Freeman.
"We would like you to feel welcome at the GR Facility and if you ask anyone here, they will be more than happy to help," Adrian told them, whose voice made him sound like he was going to say,
"Except for me. I'll rip your head off if you do."

OOC: Khral has left his weapons on the ship. He only has his pistol (conceled) and no armour. Inrios has his weapons and armour. No-one else in my groop is armed in any way. There are two Black Dragons on the ship, nameless grunts whose only purpose is to die.

IC: Xambrios Gether walked down the exit of the Viper, his long cape flapping in the wind of the loading bay. He was followed by Hadria Jyrian, who was in a discussion with a huge thing that could barely be called a man. Unlike the slender, attractive Nistolonians, Khral's face was ugly and covered in scars. He stood about 7 feet tall, and tattoos ran down his muscled arms. Behind all of them came Inrios, wearing the flexible green and brown leaf armour that Nistolonians favored. He had his shadowcape drapped over his shoulder, and it shifted colors as he walked. His rifle was slung over his back, and his sword dangled at his waist. He looked bored, and obviously wasn't as good an actor as the rest of his team.

Xambrios bowed and shook hands with the scientist.
"Pleased to meet you. I'm Xambrios Gethar, Genetics specialist." He smiled widely. Asshole thought Inrios as he stood in the corner, almost invisible in the darkness.
Xambrios continued. "I've been looking forward to this tour for weeks, as any of my collegues can tell you."
In the shadow, no-one could see Inrios rolling his eyes. Xambrios had moaned about going the whole time.
Hadria also introduced herself, stopped muttering about Xambrios to admire he physique. Khral simply nodded his head in greeting, which was good, as it looked like he would have crushed the scientists hands if he had shook them.
"And this is our security on this tour, Inrios Heniss." Xambrios waved for him to come forward from behind his back where the Green Sun officials couldnt see. The scientists jumped (Inrios was sure they hadnt seen him come in) and Adrian nodded in greeting.
"Well, when do we get started?" asked Hadria.

OOC2: Nistolonians are purple skinned, elf like humanoids, with the pointy ears, ect that all elves have, as well as eyes like that of a cat or a snake. They are quick, smart, and good looking, but not very tough. They tend to be sleek and tall, with hair ranging from dark purple to black to silver.

"Thank you!" Schvost said as he walked in the room, (a tall skiny man in a tux with a short sword strapped to his side) "our nation is Honerd that you would let us come. this is Rykov Grunther," he said motioning to a man stnding about 6'2" with arms bilt like a tracter, "...this is Kirk McMaster," he motions to a man standing 5'2" with blue jeans a T-shirt and white bag with a red cross on it, "...this is Henry," a tall man with a white sute and something under his jackit, "...this is Sam Rushingtin," about 6' with glasses and a tie, "and I am Schvost." with that said he took every effert to bow lower then Kats did, the others did so aswell except for Rykov, he stood looking at Sheperd with a very bitter face. "Why did they have to take my gun?" he said in a voice that would frighten brick wall, "WHY DID THOSE..." he stopped after catching a glimps of Schvost, who was clenching his sword "Rykov,"Schvost said "it's time you took another one." Rykov relaxedand said "yes, Sir" vary sarcasticly, he reached into his pocket and shuved a pill into his mouth.

Drs. Weaver, Castanuelo, and Benjamin were suitably impressed with the welcoming committee, security, engineering, biology, everything but high energy physics, but the doctors could forgive that minor lapse.

The Security was suitably impressive to the two Immortals in attendance as well, they were the elite of the elite in the Dominion, born out of the Spartans, 653 deadly capable survivors from an impossible battle against an implacable foe, the Ten Thousand were equip[ped with a motley collection of enemy weapons, railguns, plasma cannon, HVM launchers, if the enemy used it, they had it, these two specimens, Thomas Sunday Junior was nearly seven feet of muscle and bone, while Sargeant Duncan was smaller and lighter, but no less deadly.

The Lieutanant chuckled.
"You have nothing to fear on this facility," he assured the man, "Especially with me in charge. Your weapons will be returned when you leave or in teh event of an emergency, which won't happen while you're here, I assure you."
Adrian turned to Inrios and smiled. He then looked at all of teh bodygaurds and said,
"I hope you don't mind, but I am head of security, so you will have your duties, but all security gaurds, even foreign ones on the tour, will take orders from me directly. Which means you won't be bothered by me except for reports when I ask for them. Thank you."
Dr. Freeman cleared his throat.
"Thank you, Lieutanant. Now, some of you may have seen aliens, some of you have not, and some of your are aliens, so please note that Green Sun is home to many types of non-human beings, so please don't be surprised when you see a Sanghelli, an unggoy, or even a Hunter for security. We actually have a dozen Homo Sanghellis, which Dr. Coon put a lot of effort into helped making possible."
Dr. Coon gave a modest thank you.
"Now, I think we should start the tour now. This is the entrance. The airlock is behind you and this is the front desk, of course. Over there is our secret genetics lab, I can't tell you what's in there. Over here is one of teh Secuirty rooms, there are armor suits and weapons there. We have better ones deeper in the facility."
Dr. Freeman showed them down a hall and the Private handed them all tags.
"The scientists have Priveleged Guest access. You can access almost every science room in the facility and some lower security rooms in addition to the regular Guest access.
"The security Gaurds will have Medium-High Security access. All labs and security rooms except for top-secret ones are open to you. All rooms you access will be recorded, just so you know," the Private told them.

Henry suddenly looked like the happyist one in the room when he herd "genetics lab", but a quick look at everyone els told him that now wasn't the time to be happy, not when you have some one like Xambrios standing 4ft away.

Kirk was starting to sweat, he was 2ft shorter then Xambrios and had Inrios not far behind him. Kirk was a brave man, but he knew that if these guys tride something there would be nothing he could do but die.

Rykov was stairing at the floor, his arms limp at his sides and his head almost rolling on his sholders. he looked like if he where any looser he would fall apart. this seemed odd to Schvost somehow, but Schvost kept his Smile and looked very interested in the facility.

Itching to break the tension of the rest of his team, Sam asked "so the body guards and the sciantists will be seperated into two teams? or will all of us be left to our own devices?"

The Lieutanant chuckled.

IC:

The three Drs had no issue with being recorded, they were scientists for the government, being recorded was what they did on a daily basis, in fact, DR. Weaver was pretty much payed to spout ideas all day, and there were three people payed just to take his ideas down, so he in particuklar was used to being recorded.

OOC: I'm assuming Khral has a security pass
Inrios nodded in acknowledgment at Adrian's command.
Khral chuckled when he saw the two battlesuited troopers. "Hah!" he laughed. "Humans after my own hearts!"(not a typo. Plural) He walked towards them, examining their weapons. Sunday Junior was the only person in the room who compared to the vast height and girth of the Sollion. "Someone who appriciates good weapons, unlike these elf types!" He nudged Inrios with his elbow. Without waiting for a reply from the Battlesuited Trooper, he continued to talk about the varius weapon systems that Sunday Junior carried.
Inrion walked over to where the scientists were talking. Hadria stood to one side, muttering angrly in High Nistolonian. "What is it?" He asked.
"Aliens!" She whispered, as if anyone else could understand her. "Those ugly humans calling us aliens??"
"Hey, calm down." Inrios grinned. "I'm sure their all just in awe of our superior abilities"
She rolled her eyes. "Oh, right."

Khral went to fetch his armour from the ship, and returned, holding his helmet under one arm. He wore his plasma pistol in a quick draw holster on his hip, and a small knife on the other, but had left his other weapons unboard ship. He saw Kirk looking nervouly at the two nearby Nistolonians and laughed again. "Whats the matter, little guy?" he asked, bending down about 3 feet to look at them amn in the eye and clapping him on the back. "They're not that scary, are they?"

Jason walked off the shuttle and took a look around before motioning to the Science staff and his other Guard. "Alright comon lets get this damn babysitting job over with." Joel Thompson looked Jason right in the eye " You will respect me as a vauled member of our peoples Science Team." Jason looked around some more "Yeah what ever old man..." Jason led the Team forward into the group led into the lab tour area waiting for this day to end..

OOC: hey guys? I'm gunna be gone till 5:00 CA time... that would be about 1:00 on this forum. so please don't have anything big happen befor then. thanks

OOC: Body gaurds stick with their respective scientists, but they have to take orders directly from teh Lieutanant, regardless of their rank in their own nation. They all stick together during the tour.

"This is the Experimental Physics lab. It's still being constructed right now, so it isn't active right now. This, over here, is anotehr one of the Biology labs, where we are experimenting with fungus and plants taht can live in the glassed planet's harsh enviroment. Over here is the planning room, where the Engineers are designing the facility..."
The tour went on for several hours. The Lieutanant found himself falling asleep as the Doctors talked.
"Lieutanant!"
He woke up.
"Yes, doc?" he yawned.
"Isn't that right?"
"Yeah."
"So, as you can see, everything is safe on teh facility. Soon, this planet will once again be bustling with life as it once was. Any questions?"

Conor Anderson looked facinated at the fungus and plants:
"Any medical use here?" He spoke excitedly.
His two guards shared a glance. They did not want to be in this assignment, It looked to be a borefest, but orders were orders.
"Oh sorry. Im Conor Anderson, and my two escorts are Richard Sharpe and Patrick Harper."
The two veterans stared at the scientist with hard eyes.

"Yes, we have a full-sized hospital on the facility with a full medical staff. It's about twenty meters from the scientists' quarters. It's nothing compared to a lot of hospitals on Red Hoems or Green Sun II, but it serves it purposes."
The Lieutanant began to nod off again when his communicator went off.
"Lieutanant, we've found something."
He pressed his communicator and turned away from teh group.
"Who found it, where did they fiond it, and what is it?"
"The exploration team. It seems that something survived the battle taht wiped the planet clean a century ago."
The Lieutanant turned to the group.
"I've just heard good news. Something survived the war that turne dthe planet into what it is. I'm sure this can-"
"Adrian, I'm not sure if it's a good thing. I don't recognize these symbols, and I'm fluent in over a dozen languages."
Adrian had a confused face.
"What do you mean?"
"I think I should show you. Go to teh Conferance room and I'll send a camera image."
Adrian blinked and then shrugged.
"It's only a short walk. Let's go find out, shall we?" he suggested.

Dr. Castanuelo was very impressed with the facility so far, but Weaver was disappointed with the lack of a physics lab, and the scientists to go with it.

Little Tommy Sunday was deep in a conversation of various weapons systems with the massive alien, his normal loadout while in a suit included a Squad Terrawatt laser, but he currently only had a 3mm grav-pistol on him, still deadly, but nowhere near as impressive.

The 3 Frozopians turned to follow. Sharpe felt a moments unease, but ignored it. Probaly some stupid science scare over proving some other stupid theory was wrong. Sharpe was never a science man. Conor looked excited, and as he opened his mouth, Sharpe cut in:
"Any problems?"

OOC: Hmm... Well I seemed to have missed the start. Let's just pretend I was there the whole time shall we?

IC: Rosaline stayed at the back of the group and remained silent the whole time. She didn't really want to be here and knew the reason she was forced to go here was so her husband could dabble in exciting experimental physics while she was stuck here looking at rooms that grew fungi. She followed the group reluctantly and only briefly examined each room.

They were led to the Conference room, which had a large table, a projector and screen, and several electronics here and there. The Lieutanant activated the projector and activated it. Three men wearing suits in a reddish room were studying a large, doorlike thing.
"Oh, Lieutanant. Yes, this is what I was talking about. Definitely not natural. What do you think?"
"Creepy," Doctor Kats commented. Dr. Coons looked nervous.
"What is it?" Dr. Freeman asked.
"We have no idea. These symbols are a language of some sort, but none I recognize."
"Sir, I may know what they are," Dr. Coons said. All eyes were on him.
"When I was younger, I, um, I was part of a cult. Part of that cult was studying symbols like that..."

Tommy was shocked, so were the rest of the team from the Dominion, those looked like Aldenata script, but as far as hey knew th Aldenata had never made it this far towards the galactic center...

"I think I have an even better way to identify them. They resemble Aldenata Script, and if they are I would be very worried..."

Inrios was only half paying attention as the scientists walked through the labs, the rest of him was busy scanning the area, mainly because there was nothing else to do.
Hadria and Xambrios were discussing fungi, and Khral and One of those battlesuited people were talking about the many and varied uses of a railgun.
He payed attention, however, when the symbols were found. So did the rest of his team.
"Cult, huh?" he said to no-one in particular, in High Nistolonian. Hadra, Xambrios and Khral, the only ones who could understand him, didnt answer. Inrios nervously began sharpening his combat knife. That normally calmed him down, but this time it didnt.

Dr. Coons read the symbols and started reciting odd incantations.
"This...This is a gateway to hell. It needs a certain spell to open. This should be heavily gaurded and never opened," he said. Suddenly, dark whispers started to chant a similar incantation to what Dr. Coons had said. The door swung to teh right and teh camera went dead, but not the microphone. There was screaming, hissing, and sounds of a struggle.
"Um...That's not what that chant did, I swear..."

Dr. Coons read the symbols and started reciting odd incantations.
"This...This is a gateway to hell. It needs a certain spell to open. This should be heavily gaurded and never opened," he said. Suddenly, dark whispers started to chant a similar incantation to what Dr. Coons had said. The door swung to teh right and teh camera went dead, but not the microphone. There was screaming, hissing, and sounds of a struggle.
"Um...That's not what that chant did, I swear..."

"You just opened a gate to something far worse than hell, I'm sure of that." Tommy turned to the Lieutenant, "Request permission to go back to our transport and retrieve my full combat loadout?"

"Granted. Everyone, suit up. I'm requesting a military investigation and Dr. Freeman?"
"Yes?"
"Permission to instate a full lockdown after everyone is ready."
"Granted."
"Everyone suit up! Red alert!"

Well, thought Inrios. Maybe this wont be so boring after all... He grabbed his rifle of his shoulder, flicked the safety off and attached his combat knife to the front. He flipped his goggles down on his head and heard the hiss as his re-breather started up. Khral had his plasma pistol out and his helmet on, and Xabrios and Hadria looked terrified.
"How far back to the ship?" he asked the leutenant.

"Down this hall and to the...Left..." The Lieutanant said. One of the Elite ((From Halo)) security gaurds was firing off his Plasma Rifle. He was torn in half by some sort of creature. It was long and humanoid with a very long tongue. It turned to the Lieutanant and Inrios and hissed. The Lieutanant drew his ALR and fired, blowing it head apart. It burst into flames and disappeared. There was a high-pitched scream from the conference and gunfire. The Lieutanant went to see what happened. Dr. Kats was gone.
"Dr. Kats just attacked Dr. Freeman, so I shot him...He burst into flames..."

"Granted. Everyone, suit up. I'm requesting a military investigation and Dr. Freeman?"
"Yes?"
"Permission to instate a full lockdown after everyone is ready."
"Granted."
"Everyone suit up! Red alert!"

"Thank you sir. Shari, ready the armory for me and Sargeant Duncan, we need a full loadout, and ready the Reaper if you will."

A feminine voice comes from a black box strapped to Tommy's arm, his AID, Artificial Intelligence Device, everything will be ready when he and Duncan get to the ship, "Armory is open, all weapons and Reaper systems are released, DAEMON variant activated, requires command override to executre full parameters."

"Override, voice and fingerprint match, code Omega-Ten, possible Aldenata technology activated."

"Understood, Omega-Ten active, DAEMON fully active."

Weaver, Castanuelo and Benjamin all drew small bore Bead Pistols, they wer rednecks, they were definitely gonna be packing heat.

The team set off back towards the ship in a reasonably defensible formation, with the three scientists between the two much larger soldiers.

Four Imps ambushed the team after tearing apart a few scientists, assisted by zombies. One of the GASTABA armored security gaurds went to engage one of the imps, tearing it to pieces with its chaingun.

"Back to the ship! Hurry!" Inrios stepped over the body of Dr. Kats and into the hall, followed by the scientists and Khral. He leveled his rifle at the first imp, blowing its head apart with the black energy bolt. Khral unloaded his plasma pistol on the others, spraying them with orange balls of energy. Quickly, they followed the Mini Miehm soldiers. Hadria picked up one of the dead scientists pistols.
"You better stick with us, leutenant" Inrios said. "Safety in numbers..."

Four Imps ambushed the team after tearing apart a few scientists, assisted by zombies. One of the GASTABA armored security gaurds went to engage one of the imps, tearing it to pieces with its chaingun.

The Imps quickly learned what a DU teardrop can do to a body when accelerated up to .3c, specifically it's alot like packing the critters chest cavity with TNT and detonating it, not good for a creatures survival, no matter how messed up and unnatural they are.

Khral grabbed the last zombie and lifted it over his head, ingnoring the blows it rained down on him. He flung it into the wall, making a rude gesture at it as it fell.

The Lieutanant agreed and they headed for the door, but their path was blocked with more imps. Adrian fired his laser gun again and began to clear them, out but there was far too many for the group to handle, even the GASTABA armor's minigun couldn't handle this number.
"We've got to retreat!" the Lieutanant said, throwing a grendade into the large group.

"Fuck, Shari, activate Quarantine, level three, ship interior only."

"Understood Lieutenant, you will not be able to access the Reaper or the DAEMON for 4 hours after initiating level 3 quarantine."

"I know, do it anyway."

"Understood, defensive anti-personnel batteries active."

He knew that the people on the ships would have to find a way around, but he couldn't have the imps following them like that. He turned to his security gaurds, the scientists, and the bodygaurds.
"There's a security room up ahead. We can get armor, ammo, and guns there. We can call for a military strike to clean out the things. We're a big group, so we stand a big chance here. I just hope we can make it out alive with that chance."

"Well lieutenant, looks like we're all back to working for a livng huh?" Duncan had always been a problem child, but he was a good man in a fight, and his 11mm Bead Pistol could rip those fuckers to shit in no time.

The three scientist were already speculating wildly about Dark Aldenata, these creaturees were nothing lkike the Aldenata's oither creations, their allies the Tchpth, the Darhel, and the Indowy, nor were they like their greatest foes, the Posleen, but that writing looked alot like Aldenata Glyphs, which gave a possibility of a sundering at some time in the past, which left a whole shit load of possibilities, most of them unpleasant...

"Oh, baby, I missed using you so much," he said to his rifle and kissed it. He raised it again.

"FUCK!!! Shari, full light enhancement on my glasses, optimum spectrum."

The view in Tommy's glasses passed through a few spectrums before settling down and giving him the best view he could get in thses conditions, then he let loose on anything that wasn't human and was moving, 3mm DU teardrops filled the air with silver lightning as they ionized the gases around them in flight.

Rykov was mumbaling about not getting his gun back. "those F&$@#% things have probly eaten it by now..." he pulled out his MK-42 9mm pistol "not much but it gets the job don" he said with a smile.

The Lieutanant stopped. He turned to the door to hi left and knocked on teh door in a pattern.
"Is someone out there?"
The door opened slightly and a shotgun was shoved in teh Lieutanant's chest.
"Damn, I thought those things got smart."
The door opened.
Adrian turned to the otehrs.
"If you need armor and a gun, you can get it here."

OOC: Any room for some outside reinforcements? I play too much Doom for my own good, at least 3 times a day, only classic!
IC: "Attention UAC, we've just picked up an anomaly in your space, this is Hydrogen-Land IFLA special services, do you require assistance, we have a good man ready to be sent down if it is required!"

besides, in Green Sun, 'teh' is actually a legal word as a replacement for 'the' so people won't get frustrated anymore.

Xambrios was the first person Inrios had ever seen look so terrified and so angry at the same time. However, this remarkable feat didnt save him,and the huge deamon at the door splatted his face in.
Inrios turned and filled it with shadowbolts, but it still came on, knocking him aside as it turned towards the others, who were still equiping themselves. The human security officer (Inrios couldnt recall his name at the moment) turned from loading his shotgun and pumped a slug into its face. It staggered back, and Inrios jumped onto its back, plunging his sword down as he did so. This time, it fell, dissolved, actually, sending Inrios to the ground in an undignified heap. He jumped to his feet immediatly.
Hadira was rooting through Xabrios' backpack, looking for the spare leaf suit that he kept in there. and the others were putting on armour and loading weapons. two stood at the door, watching.

Tommy asked around for a minute, and then selected the heaviest weapon he could find, a massive PPC with an integral ammo pack, he also grabbed a pistol, since he was more likely to find ammo for that than he was to find ammo for his.

The GASTABA armor flinched and opened fire on the Daemon. It was jerked around by the Plasma minigun and then burst into flames, but it was replaced by two more. The armored man kept of firing and firing, with the Private backing it up with his rifle.

Tommy and Duncan both opened up with their sidearms, unleashing a salvo of fractional c rounds and hypervelocity beads at the enemy, nothuing could take that kind of a beating and live for long.

That was frightening, battle armor ripped in half by a demon, and Tommy's gun seemed to have little effect against the massive beasts, well, maybe it was time to use the heavy artillery, "Everybody, take cover!!" Tommy pulled back the charging handle on the gun he'd picked up and prepared to fire...

Pvt. Teer squatted and placed his hands on his head and waited for a really, really big bang.

Jason watched as this large Machine thing was torn in half. "Jesus Christ, Chris did you see that!" The large Marine replied ""Yeah I did." "Chris fall back into the security room now, fuck" A Large mass of deamons were running up to the Marines. Chris movied infront of Jason and unloaded with his Assult rifle spewing Shredder rounds. Jason pinned a grenade and rolled it in the mass of deamons ripping them apart. "Nows our chance, go go go!"

Tommy was ready, Duncan was moving, Weaver, Castanuelo, and Benjamin were all in hiding, the Demons were swarming, not everyone was quite in cover, but it was now or never...

He let it rip, a massive green bolt of energy seemed to move very sluggishly through the air, though it could not have been that slow, since it almost immediately detonated, sending out a blast more massive than any weapon Tommy had ever used before, he barely made it to safety.

Duncan wasn't so lucky, he was picked up and flung bodily into the wall, and not even an ACS trooper can survive damage like the sickeng wet *SQUELCH* of being thrown into a wall at over 60 Gees of acceleration.

Jason made sure all the scientists and Chris got in the vent first then he followed not knowing where he was going..

Adrian pounded on a grate and looekd around. He spotted one security gaurd, whether he was a zombie or not, he couldn't tell. He lifted the grate and grabbed the man. He struggled and bit and Adrian could smell his rotting flesh, so he slit the man's throat. He burst into flames. He crawled teh rest of the way out and offered a helping hand to the next person in line.

OOC: The DOOM Zombies actually are described as smelling like rotten lemons in the books, just a minor FYI.

Tommy was the las man through the gate, and he was hit twice before he made it out, luckily they weren't too bad as hits go, inconvenient, uncomfortable, and rather painful, but not fatal anytime soon, esecially if he could get to his full Suit systems, which were caoable of saving a man from anything that was not a shot to the heart, brain, or upper spine, if they acted quickly enough.

Weaver, on the other hand, was the first of the three out of the grate on the other end, since it had been established that he was not only the best shot, but the best fighter in general among the Miehmish Scentists.

"I think there are escape pods two floors up. We can use those to escape the facility and then send for help. We'll gather whoever we can along the way that's still alive."

Tommy and the 3 remaining Miehmish scientists took up positions on the outside of the group, the rest of the scientists seemed hopeless in combat, and there weren't enough soldiers leftto cover the entiore group, so the three scientists did the job the soldiers would have done, covering the flanks of the group as they escaped.

Tommy wand Weaver were the only ones who had a good shot at the thing, and they cut loose, Tommy fired his pistol off-hand, while firing the rifle he'd picked up in the armory one-handed, it wasn't easy, and it wasn't accurate, but it gave him much needed weight of fire. Dr. Weaver had both Tommy's first pistol, and his own, as well as all of their ammo for those two weapons, he let loose a pair of streams of what appeared to be silver lightning, though in reality it was the ionization tracks of Depleted Uranium bullets going down range in such great quantities that it appeared to be a single shot.

Tommy and Weaver both dove for any covcer they could find, which was minimal in their area, Weaver was hit once, a clean shot through the upper arm, while Tommy managed to avoid the track of the chaingun completewly, if just barely.

Now Dr. Castnuelo and Dr. Benjamin opened up, their heavier Bead Pistols should be enough to handle the armor on this damn thing, in conjunction with Tommy and Weavers backup.

The 4 Miehmish fighters kept up their fire, even though it looked like they'd been abandoned, they couldn't run, if they did they'd get hammered as they left their minimal cover, so they kept shooting, Benjamin ran out of ammo first, every magazine he had was empty, it was cumulative from the fight against the Daemons, while Castanuelo, Tommy, and Weaver kept up with every weapon they had, Weaver evenstopped to fish out a grenade he'd picked up somewhere along the way.

"Fire in the hole!" The grenade landed right in front of the Armored Zombie, and detonated, literally right on top of the enemy, hopefully it would be enough.

The grenade exploded and the armor tumbled and fell over and its shield generator exploded.

Inrios had Dr. Coons blood splatter all over him when the GASTABA opened up.
He dove to the side, firing rapidly, his shots pinging and bouncing off its reinforced armour.
"Run! Get into cover!!"
Lyria dove infront of him, a mono-filiment grenade in her hand. She hurled it.
The twisting strands of sharp metal filled the corrider, ripping, slicing and tearing. (Monofiliment is the sharpest material known to science)

The series of explosions caused the three to stop running. They backtracked and saw the others sighing in relief. Adrian peaked around the corner and sppotted the destroyed GASTABA armor.
"That god taht's not the latest mode, otherwise you'd all be dead," Adrian told them. Then the pounding and screaming of a Daemon could be heard from where Adrian and the other two had run.
"Let's go."

Jason and Chris followed suit with the group making shure his scientists were ahead of him. Jason heard thier "leader" say something about escape pods and sighed in relife."Well Chris it looks like we might just get out of here.."Jason was stopped mid sentance by a loud scream coming from the back of the hallway thier were running in....

Adrian mumbled about the third GASTABA armor being infected and led them to where he hoped would be the elevator to the top floor. There were two imps devouring a scientist and Adrian took them both out.

"Infection of any sort? Complete lockdown. Only those who are scanned are allowed out. But I don't think Green Sun II got any signal yet."

He kept a record file on it and it's been passed down from generation to generation. I came here when I found out about the facility to make sure this didn't happen...And I failed..."

Screams could be heard from the back of the hallway. "Fuck, we gotta go faster!" The screams got louder..and louder....

A giant catline demon, larger than any of the Daemons they had faced, was devouring a human. There was a Sonic Blaster next to him. The catlike thing looked at them and hissed. Dr. Freeman was shocked.
"That's Fluffy! One of our test animals!"

Jason Shot the beast right in the head dropping it. "Let's move!"

The cat collapsed and Jason charged, but Adrian stopped him.
"It hasn't burst into flames like the other demons. It's still...Alive, if you can call it that."

"So..what it doen't die when brain function stops?" Jason shot it in the middle of the chest.

The cat charged and took the bullet to the chest. Adrian fired at it legs. It rammed into the wall, putting a dent in it.

Wishing they still had ammo for the BFG, he let the cat stay distracted by Jason and Chris and dived under the beast and grabbed the Sonic Blaster. Four shots left. Good. He aimed it and fired. The cat's head burst into flames and it fell on Dr. Freeman. Nothing broken or wounded.

"Damn I got two clips left, How about you Chris?" "Well I got two left for the Rifle and 6 left for the pistol." "Hey, give me two clips for the pistol." Chris handed Jason two clips of 12.7mm bullets. "Thanks."

Adrian walked into the elevator and told them to get it. It was a large elevator, enough to fit all of them, but there were three or four dead bodies in it.

Adrian mouthed, "What the fuck?" and the bang could be heard again. The elevator then began to fall. It stopped and then fell again. When it landed, nobody was seriously hurt since it was so close to the ground. The Lieutanant stuck his gun out of the door and decided it was safe. The power was out, so he turned on his chestlight.

"Goddamit!" Jason and Chris both turned on thier torch lights on thier weapons. Chris:"Well this sucks balls.." Hey Chris, shut up and start actin like a Marine." Jason mad shure his scientists were okay. "Hey old man you havent had this much exceietment in years huh?" "Son, what did I tell you about the old man part?" Jason rolled his eyes. "Hey Adrian now what?"

"We take the stairs," Adrian replied, walking further into the room. He hadn't seen this area before. He walked deeper and deeper, backed by Pvt. teer and Dr. Freeman. there was another security arsenal here that they entered. Some armor for Dr. Feeman and ammo for the Sonic Blaster. Pvt. Teer smiled when he found BFG ammo.
"We're in luck, boys!" he shouted.

"That is a GS-SRYNGE. It's an automatic sniper rifle, effective at medium, close, and long range. Best on the market if you ask me. That short-barreled thing is a cross between a gun and a hyperspace engine. Be careful with it. Incredibly careful, make sure you hit your target and nobody is in front of you and only in emergencies. I don't even know why we have that here. Both of those guns don't require ammo, their cores will degrade in about three hundred years if they aren't made obsolete by then."

"Fucking-A no ammo, awsome!" Chris stared unbelivabley at the weapon "Nice..."

"I want one of those short guns, please? That's my kind of weapon, especially if it's anything like our Warp Cannon, it sends the target into Hyper with a near miss or better."

"That's top-secret technology. If you take it home with you, the Forge Force will have to get involved and my ass will be fired. All of our laser-technology is ammunition-free. We can sell you those designs, but the Space Disruptor is out of the question," Dr. Freeman told him, donning his armor and raising a PPC rifle, a shotgun-like rifle. Larger PPCs fired in a strait projectile, but smaller ones fired off like a shotgun.

Adrian looked around and shook his head.
"Sorry, but we don't seem to have another. Besides, I think that one's illegal."

Teer took the rifle and raised it. It was lighter and better fitted for his specialty.

"Yes, let's go," Adrian said, leading them out of the armory. The wandered down the hall and it was quiet.

Adrian came up to a corner and looked over it. There was nothing but another elevator.

"Yeah, this looks pretty bad, what do you guys think is going to come flying out of there when we open it up?"

Adrian turned to the soldiers and simply said,
"Door breach." and walked to the entrance of the elevator, followed by Pvt. Teer.

Jason and Chris moved the scientists who werent armed back and behind a low object. "Chris stay here and cover the scientists", Jason said as he moved up to cover Adrian. "Alright Sir, I'll cover 'em up real good."

Adrian mashed teh button and the door opened to the elevator. Pvt. Terer threw in a Flash Grenade and Adrian spun about and looked inside the elevator.
"Holy...Shit...Man..." an armored soldier said as he knelt in the corner.
"Who are you?" Adrian asked. The man looked up.
"Oh, shit, teh Green Sun Government is here!"
Adrian recognized the Uniform and became enraged.
"WHAT THE FUCK DOES BLACK SUN THINK IT'S DOING HERE?!"

Jason looked about confused "Black Sun? Adrian who are these guys?" Jason had his weaponed trained on the soldier.

"Terrorist group that caused the original Trinary Empire of Green Sun to collapse. They followed us into space afetr their own attempt to take over failed. I've faught them for years."
Adrian kicked the man in his side.
"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS PLANNING?"
"Dammit...It's just a weapons depot down here..."

"Ask him how he got down here maby he knows a way out of here.", "Hey Chris get over here and bring the scientists." "Kay be there one sec." "I said get over here marine, now!" "Yes Sir!" Chris brought the Scientists over to the group...

"What? Huh? What do you mean? Why are you trying to escape?" the sodlier asked.
"You didn't cause the monsters?"
"What monsters?"
"The zombies? Demons?" Pvt. Teer asked. The soldier shook his head.
"I'm sorry, but we've only heard a few booms. we figured you guys were testing new guns..."

"Do you have any idea what horrors have gon on here? Do you! How did you get down here, show us the way!" Jason aimed his weapon above the soldier's head and fired.

"SHIT! Okay, okay! There are tunnels in the depot! I'll show you! Just gen in the elevator, I'm unarmed."
Adiran pulled out the soldier's sidearm and pocketed it.
"Like I said, unarmed."

"Alright guys lets get the fuck outta here." Jason made shure no one was left behind and then he got on the elevator. "Well, here we go."

The soldier punched the button and the elevator went down. He wlaked out of the elevator and was stopped by the elevator gaurds.
"You're supposed to have surface duty!" one of them said. Adrian blew his head off with his magnum .223 and pointed it at the other gaurd.
"We have guests," the soldier told the gaurd.

"How did Black Sun even get here?, Don't you guys have tight sercurity?" Jason trained his rifle at the other guard "Ya might wanna kneel down and hand over any weapons, son."

"We were here first. The commissioner of the abse is a member of the organization...Was before he had a heart attack and died..."
Adrian shook his head to Jason.
"These guys will leave us alone as long as we leave them alone, trust me. They'll be pissed because I just killed one of their guys, yeah, but we have something to offer them. These guys have got to be experienced if they can hide like they do, and they outnumber us."

"Well you know more than I do, So I'll follow your lead on this one." Jason lowered his Rifle and relaxed a little.

"These guys know something, Buck?" teh gaurd asked. Buck nodded.
"Okay. Follow me, I'll take you to the Lieutanant," the Gaurd said as he turned and showed them the way, Adrian's .223 at their heads.

Jason and Chris followed the guards wondering where they were being led too.

The gaurd knocked heavily on the door and teh slit opened, where a pair of eyes looked out. It closed and the door opened. Adrian followed the gaurd in, where he was grabbed by a bodygaurd. Adrian flipped teh giant man and shot his leg off.
"ENOUGH!" a loud voice bellowed.
"What is the meaning of this? Buck? Susan?"
"Sam, sir."
"Whatever."
"These are gaurds and some of the guys from the tour. It sounds liek something bad has happened up top."
"Explain."

Jason followed Adrian in and watch him shoot of the mans leg. He let Adrian explain what is going on upstairs.

"The tour stareted, see? We got to the conferance room where we got a call and then they opened some sort of gate and then all these zombies and creatures appeared in teh base and started to kill and possess people. When you shoot them and they die, they burst into flames. ANd I think you know why it happened."

"Sorry, but the only thing we've done in the last twenty-four hours is move some weapons around and try to get access to the security cameras again. We have no idea what's going on upstairs. What proof do you have that this is actually happening and this isn't just a raid?"

"Because if this was a raid, you would have known that we knew you were here."

"Good point."

"You want proof of whats going on up there!?, How bout I put you on that elevator and you can see first hand!"

"I think I'll pass. Every time Green Sun and Black Sun have had to work together, we've been honest with each other, so I believe you. If you guys found this floor that easily, then I an only presume something's wrong with the other elevator. Is tehre any way we can help rid the base of the monsters?"

"Unless you know God, then there's little you can do."

The Black Sun CO smiled.

"I know God. I know him very well."

"So what is your plan of action to get out of here, we can still make it to the docks I don;t think they were overrun yet."

"We have docks," the Black Sun CO offered.

"What about survivors?" Pvt. Teer asked.

"We'll come back. If nobody is alive, I'll activate the nukes."

"That sounds good to me., What about you Chris?" "Well sah I personelly just wanna get outta here." "Well Arian it's fine with us."

"I agree. The military can finish up here. Call for the complete evacuation of the base, Lieutanant and get us a ship ready."
"I'm sorry, but we only have enough room for all of my men."
"Then let's leave a few here and we'll have a reason to come back or I can just kill you cna a few of your men and steal one and just activate those nukes you were talking about, hmm?"
"They can survive for a few days down here."

"Adrian I love your way of negotiating, so where is this dock?"

The Lieutanant punched a button and alarms sounded.
"Follow the fleas," the Lieutanant said.

"Damn, an old 239 Paradrop ship. This thing's a classic," Adrian said as he approached the dropship. He banged on teh door and it opened.
"Hello, my name's Chunk and I'll be yer pilot t'day."

"Hey man I don't care if it's rock, just as long as it gets us the fuck outta here."..Gunshots could be heard from the far side of the hallway. "I think we should hurry, and I mean it."

"Leaving!"
the door closed behind them and teh engines clanked on and they felt the dropship lift off and leave the hangar. It was quite uncomfortable when they hit the atmosphere.

Jason leaned back in his seat and took a deep breath. Chris started to laugh and buried his head in his arms. Dr. Freeman rubbed his temples and sighed.
"Hey Chris you think that's enough fun for you?" "Hell yeah sir!"

Adrian just leaned back and slept while the ride kept going. He wopke up a couple hours later and nobody was in the ship.

Except an Imp. It charged and slashed his belly open before he could react.

He woke up screaming.

Jason Snapped awake and grabbed his rifle "What,what's going on!?" "Easy Sir, Adrian just woke up screaming.." "Oh, jeez I though we were back on the front lines against the Bugs." Jason Shudders "Ths Bugs...goddamn..thank god we wiped them out." "Sir..can you please not mention them."

"Sorry...I had a nightmare...Hey, Chunk. Where are we headed, anyways?"
"Red Homes. Banaan's there."
"Stop at Station Nine, I have a contact there that can help us."

"So who's this contact?" Jason rubbed his eyes and made shure Doc was fine.

"Hasu Ha'amamee, the Sith Lord of Green Sun. If we can get the Sith academy on our side here, we can wipe out all those demons, especially if he can convince the Jedis to help, too."
