[OOC: This is the first time I've tried designing anything like a rifle, SMG, or anything of the sort. Constructive feedback is welcomed.]

Background With the recent acquisiton of Pomentane Ballistics CFGP by the Incorporated Ordnance Company and following up on extensive recommendations for reform by the Senate Military Affairs Committee, the Incorporated Sarzonian Army determined that it was sorely lacking a submachine gun that would serve its army combat units in urban warfare situations. It found that the F-530 6.76 mm 40 round SMG, while excellent for the Blue Cobras special forces operations that required a compact unit, the Army found the F-530 didn't have the killing power it required for urban combat. Thus, engineers studied previous designs and came up with the Quinn and Collins S-120 .40 calibre SMG.

Development Inspired by the Brugger and Thomet MP9 submachine gun developed in Switzerland, the S-120 is designed for ease of concealment for elite units, but is also designed to provide the killing power that the F-530 lacked, and better logistical coordination than having an unusual calibre of weaponry would allow. The use of polymers allow the unit to be employed in a variety of combat theatres beyond simply urban warfare. It is designed as a short range, fast-firing weapon that can ensure a quick kill. Like other SMGs, it sacrifices long range and accuracy for the ability to get ordnance fired quickly and for ease of logistics by operating pistol ordnance.

Features: Along with the normal ordnance, which can provide ease of coordination with shotgun-carrying soldiers or officers, the S-120 comes equipped with a red dot sight, iron sighting for emergency use, and noise and flash suppressors. Its light weight allows it to be operated with one hand by a soldier while his or her opposite hand is occupied with another weapon or with stores. The S-120 also has versatility which allows a user to change its barrel to fire nine millimetre weapons, which ensures that police units can also operate this weapon.

OOC: A nice, individual weapon, of believable capability. Some people just use massive-cal weapons and call it better. All the stats are good, and the rpm is medium for an SMG.
All you need is a picture. I draw most of my own weapons in paint, but I've done other people's just for fun. If you want to tg your msn (Provided that you have msn), then it'd be easier to work it all out to your desire.

An example of my most recent weapon, the Sturmgewehr 2008 Model 1;

OOC: Thanks for the comment and the offer (I TG'd you the answer about the design this is based on). If you're going to be on later tonight (I'm in Eastern Daylight Time -- New York's and Washington, D.C.'s time zone), I'll remind myself to get on MSN.

I use the stirling submachine gun

it fires a 9mm pistol round so compatable with most guns of the same type

it was developed real world in the closing days of world war two to replace the makeshift sten gun (which while giving valuable service up till the 50s was very much a child of the crisis of the war)

it is big and quite heavy but it is also robust simple resonably accurate cheap and generally quite a good gun (though due to its side mounted magasine it does have problems with jungle)

it is quite good all round especially it is mainly used with my militia forces

OOC: Listing the muzzle velocity would be good, and when listing the stats something with more detail would be better, like this.

Other then that, it looks pretty good.

Accuracy and range were also abandoned in such weapons as the Scorpion or the old C96 Mauser. Both weapons are very impopular with their users and were only used because there was no other alternative or because the user liked the weapon (dont ask why, I do not know). It doesnt stop you from producing the weapon but it probably wouldnt be used, most professional soldier will use and train on the use of a pistol.

You also say you can change the barrel to fire nine millimetre rounds, but those are 9x19 instead of 10.16x20 so it would require a complete recalibration set.

Thats all, looks ok for the rest.
