"Two funerals and a wedding to plan," Heidi Equanant said, sitting next to her fiance, James Theao, and her brother, Jordan.
"It's going to be quiet without mom and dad around. They really lit up the house. The Three Uncles are going to go on tour and find wives and you can James are going to marry. It's just going to be me, Andromeda, Earnest, and-"
"Me," Taylor said, walking in, "Perhaps we should have the wedding before the funeral."
"Why?" Jordan asked, curious.
"It'll be symbolic. Shaku, Ishmael, and Natasha's souls will not be at rest until their funerals. With their souls still here, they will attend the wedding."
"That's pretty clever," Heidi remarked, impressed, "What do you say, James?"

"It seems appropriate." James replied, "Something they'ed like."

"Shaku, anyway. Ishmael would have gotten confused and it would take an hour to explain it to him," Jordan told him. Heidi changed the subject.
"Our immediate families should attend. Who else should we invite? Emperor Scorpius and his family, of course...Let's see...Any ideas, James?"

"On my side, both Saras, Harold and Margret, Veronica and Sean. Raphael would want to come, as well as I know there are a few of my ministers who want to attend." James replied

"Let's send an invite to the leader of the Borman and Generic Empires, we have yet to directly meet them," Jordan suggested.

"That'd be fine." James replied

"What about my son?" Taylor asked.
"You have a son?" Jordan asked.
"err...Yes...I was lonely, see, and-"
"That's enough, we understand. We'll track him down for you, Taylor," Jordan assured him.

"Yes, I'm sure it's possible to track him down." James replied

"He should be living in Green Sun. Besides, how many people in Green Sun has silvery hair other than the Royal Family?" Taylor reasoned.
"What about Hamanistan?" Heidi wondered out loud. Jordan mouthed, "No." to her and she shrugged and thought some more.

"There are the 'counter-royals'." James commented

"Counter-Royals?"

"The black-suns." James replied

"Counter-Royals. That's pretty good," Heidi said. Taylor frowned.
"No, I don't that's a good name. I mean, they were around before some of us were even born."
"But here it works," she reminded him. He smiled and shrugged.
"I guess that works."

"Ya it is appropriate, but what would you use to term them?" James asked

"I dunno. Banaan doesn't seem to want to kill us or topple our government altogether, he just wants power in the nation. Lots of it. But I guess Counter-Royals is teh best name going."

"So any other guests that you think should be at the wedding Heidi?" James asked

"Nobody that comes to mind immediately. Perhaps we should allow people to request to join?"

"Sounds good, thought we should be careful of who we allow to come." James replied

"True, just people we know we can trust not to blow up our cars as we drive off."

"Ya." James replied, "Beside guest list, what goes into wedding planning?" He asked, clearly out of his element.

"Cake. Lots of cake," Earnest said, entering. His clothes were torn and singed and his hair was moreso of a mess than it had been before. He looked at James and said,
"Lots and lots of cake."

He looked at Earnest, "What happened to you?"

"I tried to eliminate a really big problem. Didn't work. Don't ask. Oh, and Cherry's hanging from one of our Satellites up in space, Jordan. Might want to get her off before she collides with someone else's."

"Alright." James replied, as he turned back to Heidi, "What kind of cake would you like?"

"What teh hell? Where did they come from? Jordan asked, startled by the sudden intrusion.

"Spayed cats?' That sounds like that would have made Ishmael very happy, he hates cats.." Heidi said. Earnest pulled out a flyswatter and bug spray.
"Damn noobies! Git! Shoo!" he shouted as he swatted the flyswatter and sprayed the repelent.

"So, Heidi, what kind of cake do you want?" James asked as Earnest dealt with the oddity.

"Strawberry ice cream has always been my favorite," she said, wandering off a bit into space.

"So a frozen cake?" He asked as he leaned over and gave her a kiss.

"Frozn cake," she confirmed, accepting the kiss.

"Alright," James said as he made a note of the cake type. "What other things go into a wedding?"

"Uh..Someone to marry them?" Earnest suggested.

"Do you have denomination or faith you'd prefere?" James asked

"Not particularly. I suppose the closest thing to one would be a muslim wedding, but I've never really wanted one."

"We could do a fusion wedding." James suggested

ooc: Muslim wedding, what's involved in one of those?

OOC: No idea.

"Sounds good. Jordan should know how that works better than I."

"Alright, we can talk to Jordan about that facet, so what other areas are there, I know there's clothing, but that's it." James admitted

"Well, decorations...Security...Seats...the party afterwards..."

"Secruity," James turns to Jordan and asks, "Do you have any branches or groups that are certainly uncontaminated?"

"The Forge Force. They take orders, pure and simple. They may get faulty orders when misinformed, but they're not corrupted in any way."

"So if they were told to guard the wedding by you, they would, even if given contradictory orders by a military officer of superior rank?" He asked

"They take their orders directly from the Generals, yes, but if we tell them otherwise, they must follow our orders. That's one of the Royal priveleges. We are the most superior officers to the Forge Force."

"Alright sounds good, we'll also have some of our forces." James replied, "For seats, we need a full guest list, and decorations..."

"Base the entire wedding around the cake," Earnest suggested.

"So a pink theme?" James asked

"Cake theme," Heidi corrected, "Everyone has to be dressed like a cake or have some sort of cake-related article on."

"Mind providing an example." James asked

"I'm going to have a cake-shaped dress."

One of James' eyebrows raised, "That sound unusual to say the least, but if anyone could make it work, I know you can, and will. It's one of the things I love about you."

"It happens when you have a grandfather like mine. Besides, I've always wanted my wedding to be a rather odd one, to reflect my life."

"Alright." James said, "We shall have a cake themed wedding."

"I'll go arrange for the announcemnet to be made," Earnest said, walking out the door again, getting pestered by advertising noobs again, swatting them away, and walked off.

"What do you want to do know?" James asked, now that much of the preliminary wedding planning was out of the way.

OOC: He's going to have the announcemnet that people can be invited to the wedding from overseas.

ooc: Alright.

"That should really be it for the wedding plans..."

"Alright, so what would you like to do now?" James asked his fiancee.

"I just had a sudden urge to play RISK, but we can set that aside for later. We'll need to have a lot of arrangements done, so we best get started."

"Then shall we get started?" He asked

"Let's," Heidi said as she picked up a phone. She turned to James and asked,
"Will this be in Green Sun or Theao?"

"We could have two ceramonies, one in each, but I'd sort of prefere to have it in Theao." James replied

"Just one should be enough. We'll have it in Theao."

"Alright." James replied, "So what else do we have to do on the planning side?"

"Well, we need a location. In front of the palace?"

"For the ceramony, you mean?" James asked

"Yeah. In front of the Theao palace. Or behind it."

"Alright, we'll hold it at the palace," James replied, "It'll annoy the palace ground keepers to no end thought."

"They should be glad they don't work for my grandfather then," she replied, laughing.

"I'm sure Gerald would be driven up the wall by Earnest." James replied

"And Earnest would have so much fun with it, too, which is what would make it worse."

"I can just imagine Earnest doing it as well." James replied with a grin.

"Music...Your brother and the Three Uncles can supply music, wouldn't you say?"

"Ya, I'm sure they can." James replied

"We'll need a baker to make the cake."

"We do have a few good bakers in Theao, how about in Green Sun?" James asked

"I know of one really grand baker in Green Sun. Believe he baked the cake when Green Sun won its independance."

"Should we have a cook-off?" James asked, "Each one makes a small sample cake."

"That sounds like fun!"

"So you contact your baker, while I contact ours, alright." James said

"Sounds good!"
Heidi flipped open her cell phone nad dialed the number. It rang. It rang again. Twice more until someone picked up.
"Yes?" a raspy voice asked. He coughed.
"Yes?"
"Yeah, Green Sun City Bakery? This is Duchess Heidi."
"Duchess Heidi? I thought you were in Theao?"
"I am. I'm calling on my cell. Listen, we're planning teh wedding right now and we want you to bake one of the cakes."
"We would be honored to bake your wedding cake, Duchess Heidi."
"Good. When we get a date of when the wedding is going to be, I'll call you."
"Alright, we'll be waiting!"

James also called the bakery he knew and arranged the cake set up.

"So what about teh date? How about two weeks from now (Next sunday RL time)?"

"That should be good, but it'll involve a good deal of work to get it ready, that and you should get the dressmakers started almost immediately, same with the bridesmaids dresses." James commented

ooc: Sounds good

"I'm sure we can handle it."

"I'm sure we will." James said

Heidi and James spent teh rest of the day making the arrangements for the wedding and Earnest returned and slept the rest of teh day. Jordan and Andromeda explored the Theao palace with Jordan's nephew, Chong, who had seen two people get themselves killed or shot and was now recieving therapy. Being an Equanant, he was recovering very quickly.

As they explored they came across a number of rooms, with decor ranging from grunge/metal to 12th century Japanese. They came across one hall that seemed to be wall-to-wall pinball machines, while another that went in circles. Lastly they came upon a garage that had a number of what appeared to be, very odd looking cars under sheets.

"I haven't seen anything that ooks like these before.." Jordan remarked. He looked around for someone who might be of service to show them the cars.

Someone who looked somewhat similar to James was walking down the hall when he noticed the door to the garage was open, poking his head in, he noticed the three people, "Could I help you." He asked, "And who are you by the way?"

"Hello, I'm Jordan, Heidi's brother. I haven't seen any cars like this before. Are you someone that could show them to us? It would make my grandfather happy if I told him about the cars, he collects them and he would be interested in purchasing some."

"Yes I could tell you about some at least, as a few are mine." He said, "I'm Raphael, James's brother. I don't know about him, but there's one car of mine I'd never sell." Raphael said, pointing to one of the three most unique looking that were under sheets.

"Well, not these cars, of course, but ones like them, if there are any."

"Each of those were and are completely unique, even the parts were each made from scratch." Raphael replied

Jordan whistled.
"Must be hell if they ever break down. What do you call them?"

"That it is, mine is the Black Dragon, Sara's is the Green Dragon, and James has the Red Dragon." Raphael replied as he lifted the cover off his, revealing a night black car, done to look as if it actually were a dragon's head, down to the finest scale work.

"makes you sound like you're after-dark vigilantes," Andromeda humored.

"James wanted a unique car, and pestered dad to no end about it. Eventually he caved and got him his for his 16th. Naturally me and Sara had to get one to." Raphael replied

"Sounds like a Saturday for Earnest. Build a car and put it in his museum," Jordan said, studying the car as he walked all around it.

"We use to drive them, I still do, fairly often, when I'm home at least." Raphael replied, "It's both good for my image, and handles like a dream."

"Well, I bet Heidi knows what driving a dream car would be like. I never learned, I've always been hauled around in a Limo," Jordan replied.

"You've never driven yourself anywhere?" Raphael asked in partial disbelief.

"Never had to. I can fly a chopper and a plane, but not a car."

"That seems odd." Raphael replied, "It's nice that you can fly a plane and chopper thought."

"But I've never really had to," he admitted.

"So, anyother questions?" Raphael asked, "And who is the beautiful lady on your arm, and the young man?"

"Thios is my wife, Andromeda, my nephew, Chong, and these are my siamese twins, Lucy and Belle."

"You're a lucky man." Raphael replied

"I was born very fortuneate, indeed. I have a wonderful family. As you do, Raphael. They may say they think you're really annoying, but they truely care for you, I can tell."

"I know." Raphael replied, "So would you like a tour?"

"Of the palace? I've already had one last time I was here, but these four haven't, so why not?"

"Alright, any perticulars you want to start at?" Raphael asked

Andromeda shook her head.

Raphael led them out, giving the tour.

Earnest and Taylor made plans for the three funerals. They would have a Neo-Islamic ceremony, celebrating their lives and their accomplishments and then a mourning for their early and unnecessary death. Ishmael would have a military funeral in addition to the Neo-Islamic funeral. Homer's head would be shot with Ishmael's revolver at the end.

ooc: Neo-Islamic funeral?

OOC: 65% of Green Sun are members of a new form of Islam, based on Muslim and Buddhist teachings.

As they finished the tour, Raphael asked, "Any questions?"

ooc: Meant what's involved in the ceramony

OOC: Before: A ceremony with an outline of their lives told with readings from the Torah, Bible, Koran, Second Koran, and quotes from Buddha.
During: The burial cermony and mourning ceremony. Homer's head (Since he murdered them indirectly) will be shot afterwards
After: Ishmael's military funeral

"When was it built again?"

"Somewhere in the 19th century, but it's been renovated and modernised so often it's hard to say." Raphael replied
As he was talking a small mountain lion snuck up on Raphael and began butting his hand with it's head.

"Oh, a lion! I didn't know you guys had one!"

"Sasha's mine, and she's a mountain lion." Raphael said as he scratched her head.

"We have a herd of Rhinos in our front lawn. We really only have one that's anything like a pet. You must have Sasha very well-trained."

"Sort of, Sasha's part of a domestic line of mountain lions." Raphael replied, "She really likes to play with children." He commented

"So she wouldn't hurt Chong?"

"Under any normal circumstance, no. If he attacked, me, Sara, James, then yes. She's similar to a dog in that respect." Raphael replied

Chong wasn't that used to large animals so he slowly approached Sasha and stuck his hand out for Sasha to sniff.

She sniffed Chong's hand, then began licking it with her raspy tounge.

Chong giggled as the tongue tickled his hand. He used his dry hand to pet the lion on its head.

Sasha began nuzzeling Chong's hand.

Chong was now petting the lion with both hands after wiping off his hand on his pants.
"She's a sweet cat," he complimented.

"That she is." Raphael replied as Sasha flicked her tail against his leg and continued to nuzzle Chong's hands. "Do you like cats and kittens?" He asked Chong.

"My dad and Jordan are allergic to cats," Chong told him, "Not sure about lions, though."

"Jordan doesn't seem to be allergic to Sasha." Raphael replied, "And a slight miscommunication, I call all felines cats."

"It's all right, Raph. I get whatcha mean. No, I don't seem to be allergic to Sasha," Jordan said. Belle gave out a little sneeze.
"Sounds like Belle is, though," Andromeda said.

"So Chong, would you like a mountain lion kitten?" Raphael asked, "Sasha's latest litter has just finished weening."

Chog' mouth dropped. he looked at Jordan adn Andromeda.
"That would be up to your parents," Jordan told him. Chong turned to Raphael and nodded.

"Then we just need to secure your parent's permission, shall we go see them about it?" Raphael asked

"Sure. They're both in a hotel in Theao and we have their number, so..."

"Then we shall go." Raphael replied as they headed toward the garage. Sasha purred, gave Jordan, Andromeda, Chong and Raphael a lick and left.

They arrived at the garage, and Raphael lead them to a spacious Mercades-Benz. Holding the door open for Andromeda, he waited for them to get in.

They went in and sat. Jordan was a bit uncomfortable since he was used to riding in a limo or airplane and therefore more rrom, but eventually they were all comfotable.

Once all were settled, Raphael got the hotel name, and set off toward it.

"Where is Chi and Ali Equanant?"
"ID?"
Jordan handed her his pilot's liscence.
"Okay. Room 19b, third floor."

They head upstairs to meet Chong's parents and to see about getting permission for Chong to have a pet.

"What kind of pet?" Ali asked, eyeing Raphael suspiciously. He didn't recognoze him, but there was something familiar about him.

"A kitten of Sasha." Raphael commented, "You must be Ali." He said as he offered his hand, "My name's Raphael."

"Raphael...Sasha...I don't recall-"
"He's James' younger brother," Jordan told him.
"Oh! The musician! Oh! Well, you see, I'm alergic to cats, so I'm not sure-"
"We have the same allergies, Ali. I'm not allergic to Sasha. The twins are, though."
"In that case," Chi said, "We will have to inspect the pet in question."

"Then shall we go see them?" Raphael asked

"Perhaps tomorrow, Raphael. Our reservations at this hotel expire tomorrow and we'll come to the palace then."

"Alright." Raphael replied, "We'll see you tomorrow then."

"Woiuld you liek Chong to stay here?" Andromeda asked. Chi nodded and Chong walked over to his mother.
"Well, let's head back. It's good to know that you two are okay," Jordan said.

As they left, Raphael having said good-bye, he commented, "I hope they let him have one, I could tell it'd help him out."

"It would. It looks like he's recovering well, but he was attatched to Ishmael and Natasha homeschooled him."

"He really needs something to help him deal with the loss." Raphael replied, "One of Sasha's kittens should do that."

"It'll be the first Equanant pet since my grandfather's parrot, 'Damn lucky'."

"People should have pets as they grow up." Raphael commented

"My grandfather hate snature, so he hates animals. He never let us have pets in the Palace."

"He should adapt, nature's here to stay." Raphael commented

"Not in hsi house, anyways," Andromeda laughed.

"You should tell that to great-uncle Jerade, his whole house is completely open to nature, and is in fact a large tree house." Raphael commented with a grin at the memory of playing games in the house.

"That sounds like fun!" Andromeda said, smiling.

"It is, bit cold in winter thought." Raphael replied with a chuckle.

Andromeda looked down and noticed that the twins were fast asleep in her arms.
"Look don't they look sweet?" she asked. The twins were hugging one another as best as they could while sleeping. Jordan awed. He looked up and spotted police lights.
"Oh, dear..."

Raphael checked the spedometer, making sure he was in the clear as he pulled over.

The policeman pulled up behind them and walke dup.
"You're Raphael Theao, right? Jordan, Andromeda, and the twins? Good. Raph, you got a missing taillight. And Heidi's been arrested, you might want to hurry to the palace."

"Alright, and thanks officer." Raphael replied as the policeman left. He then headed to the palace.

"Wonder if she intended to get tossed in the slammer." Raphael commented, "Shouldn't have happened thought. The cops are obviously falling down on the job, Heidi still has DI protection."

"MAybe she did something serious," Andromeda suggested.

"The only crimes that would override DI are murder, or possession and/or transporting class five banned goods. The first I doubt, the second, I find it nearly impossible to believe she could have gotten her hands on them." Raphael replied

"I just hope Earnest didn't cause any with that trick of his..." Jordan said, observing the events through the window.

"I sort of doubt it, cop cars are quite a bit more durable than any general civie model." Raphael commented

ooc: Assuming you meant the car thing

"Our police have access to tanks. Nobody screws with them."

"Our's arn't quite tank, they have bad millage." Raphael replied

"I said they have access to them, they don't use them that often."

"Our police force can requistion tanks, but there is never a need in normal life." Raphael replied

"Well, anyway, care for brunch?"

"Sure," Raphael replied as they headed to the dining room, "What do you want to eat?"

"A homemade recipe. You'll be the first time anyone that's not from Green Sun otehr than foreign chefs have tried it."

"What's involved in the recipe?" Raphael asked, interested, as he was an amature chef, or at least had culinary tendencies.

"Octopus, cheese, caviar, and bird eggs."

"What kind of caviar, cheese and birds eggs?" Raphael asked, his stomach trying to figure out how the four would go together for a decent meal.

((Damn now I gotta think.))
"Any freshwater fish would do for the Caviar. Cheese is usually Muenster(SP) or Mozerella."

"Alright, know what about the bird eggs?" Raphael asked

ooc: LOL

"Doesn't really matter, I usually use Duck, which is widely use in Green Sun."

"Would chicken eggs serve?" Raphael asked

"Yeah."

"Then we have everything, so let's get started." Raphael said

Jordan followed Raphael to the kitchens.
"Do you gusy have a full octopus?" he asked.

"If you need an intact octo, then no." Raphael commented

"I do, but if taht's too much of a hassle, I can deal with cut octpus."

"I don't think we have any sushi resteraunts, or at least we didn't since I was last here." Raphael replied, "I'll check thought." He began leafing throught the phone book.

"I don't have any degrees in cooking, I learned the recipe from my uncle, he's got a degree."

"Ah, we do have a sushi resteraunt." Raphael said as he quickly placed the call.
"So, you're uncle's a pro chef?" He asked

"He got a minor degree, it's not his major. His major is politics."

"Ah." Raphael replied

"See if they have a whole octopus while I get everything else ready for cooking."

"They do and are bringing it over." Raphael replied

"Cool," Jordan said as he laid out a few eggs and prepared the cheese.

Around fifteen minutes later, the resturant delivered the octopus.

((Any idea on how to cook octopus?))

ooc: pretty sure you boil it, but that's just a guess.

Jordan began to boil the octopede whole as he started on the eggs.

"So what's this dish like?" Raphael asked

"It's different. The octopus is placed on top of the scrambled eggs and the cheese is sprinkled on top of the whole thing. Simple, really, but it's won a few contests."

"Ah." Raphael replied, "Sounds unusual at least."

Jordan took out four plates and divided the scrambled eggs among them. When the octopus was done, he took it out of the pot and placed it on top of the eggs, cutting up the fourth octopus and spreading cheese over three of them. HE instructed one of the servants to bring it up to the balcony where he would meet Andromeda and the twins.

Raphael took a bite of the breakfast, tasting it.

((Brunch))
The octopus had no spices because it was good as it was, but the scrambled eggs had onions and peppers in it, making it more of an omlete with a few spices. Jordan was right. It did taste different, but it was good to the Equanants.

Raphael commented, "Not bad," As he took another bite.

ooc: Breakfast = Brunch
Lunch = Brunch

OOC: I know. It's when you miss breakfast and it's almost lunch.

"Thank you, I've wanted some critique from someone outside of Green Sun."
The twins dove their fingers into the pile of eggs and octopede and ate it up.
"I've never had this Jordan, it's good. I didn't know you could cook..."
"I don't cook much."

"It is good," Raphael replied

"Thank you."

"While good, don't think it will catch on in general, it is an odd recipe afterall." Raphael replied

"It was designed to be specifically for Brunch. It's a hobby of Uncle Taylor's, inventing brunch meals."

"Odd hobby." Raphael said with a grin.

"The man's been drug-addicted for the last half decade with no money thinking he was dead and in hell. He needs a hobby."

"Ouch." Raphael replied, "Well it's as good a reason as any."

"He seems to be recovering well, though."

"That's good." Raphael replied

"As is Chong. He's been playing with other children as of late. He seems to adore Timone."

"It's good that he is, I knew he'd do well with a kitten, and it's good he's found other children to play with." Raphael replied

"The otehr kids will think it's really cool thathe has a lion."

"That's sort of like when I was a kid, with Sasha." Raphael replied, "Only a few lines have worked on taming the large wild animals. I believe there are jaguar, tiger, possibly a hyena, Sasha's line, and I think someone's trying to get a successful, fertile ligar."

"I wouldn't know much about our wildlife programs. Earnest, as you know, hates nature."

"These arn't really wild-life projects, more like the personal hobbies of certain families." Raphael replied

"Technically they are, but I see your point."

"I'm pretty sure no one's tried to tame and domesticate any herbevoirs thought.' Raphael replied

"I've known a few peopel that have tamed Rhinos before," Jordan replied.

"Tamed, or domesticated?" Raphael asked, "Sasha is domesticated, as are most of the other animals I listed." He thought for a moment, "I forgot, the line that is working on the ligar, is actually a merged branch off of two lines that domesticated the tigar and lion respectively."

"Tamed, I know. Domesticated, I heard something about it."

"Then that's fairly interesting." Raphael replied

"It's only something I've read, I can't confirm it."

"Even still," Raphael replied, "Most herbs, that would be interesting to tame, are expensive, ornary, and impractical."

"I don't know anything about critters."

"That's alright." Raphael commented

"You're a musician, right, Raphael?" Andromeda sked as she cleaned up teh twins from their foodfight.

"Correct." Raphael replied as he turned to face Andromeda.

"Do you know if it's true that certain types of music help the advancement of a child's brain?"

"Well, when mom was carrying me, and shortly after I was born, James was playing various really odd music combos, like Heavy Metal and Classical, Jazz and Country." Raphael replied, "And in all fairness, I am quite a bit smarter than either James or Sara."

Andromeda laughed.
"Okay. I want them to be unique but be loyal at the same time to their nation. What music would you suggest?"

"Do you and Jordan like different musics?" He asked

"Not really."

"Does anyone who spend a great deal of time at you're house like different music?" Raphael asked, "You could try playing 'contra-dictory' musics, see how that works."

"Earnest listens to everything and anything," Jordan said.

"Then you could have him play music as well as yours, but it's only a suggestion." Raphael replied

"That's what I heard. I kinda wanted a second opinion, thanks."

"That's alright." Raphael replied

"So will you be attending teh funerals?"

"Yes, I will." Raphael replied
