Ok now my nation has had multiple resests of history because my rps begin to get wierd and my nation starts doing stuff I never intended and if I go FT I end up changing back to modern or vice versa. But I can't leave Dracun out as I planned to and just rp as Eternus Lumen I need Dracun it's just to cute! :P But anyway I want to ask your opinion what should Dracun be? MT or FT thank you!

OOC: Not sure if this belongs in II but if it doesn't please move it thank you!

You should be both MT and FT.

I tried that once, didn't turn out so good.

Then try again, or do MT as the 'history' of your nation and FT as the 'present'

Modern Tech, it's more relatable to all nations and less of a GodModWank RPing.

Future, but only if you can avoid the already mentioned godmodding.

The problem is you cannot. Every FT roleplay I've seen gets bogged down with debates over technology. Which is understandable because you have to explain what an UberHypernator is, how you got it & why it can destroy entire solar systems.

Personally mine in PostModernTech, which is perfect because you are only just pushing the boundaries. There are still very clearly set rules, but you have that freedom to not be held down by entirely conventional concepts.

MT. I think I still have two invasions/liberations pending that never panned out. :p

Anything is good with guidelines.
Unfortunatly, its very hard to guidline FT. If you're the type to ask at the beginning of a war "Tell me how your army works, what vehicles you have, what weapons you have" and can explain why a superlaser that blows things up from across the galaxy wont work, or just isnt feasable, then FT could be considered.
Otherwise Rotovia-, you're right. Pre MT/MT is the "safest" to do.

MT or FT, doesn't matter. It all depends on what's more fun for you. However, if you're MT, you have a much wider spectrum and more realistic and easier boundaries to work with. With FT it's easier to take modified versions of things already used (SW, Star Trek, Babylon 5 - I think), but things are more extreme and thus more 'epic'.
