The results are in!

Colonel Vader Tanakis of the National Fascist Party (NFP) has won!!!

In second place was David Norton of the Gay and Lesbian Rights Party (GLRP).

Acting President, Dr. Karl Buchanan of the Conservative Christian Party (CCP) came last.

Here are the results of the Torontian Presidential Elections of August 2020:

Colonel Vader Tanakis (NFP) 43.48%

Jack Norton (GLRP) 34.78%

Dr. Karl Buchanan (CCP) 21.74%

In three days time, Colonel Vader Tanakis will attend the ceremony where he will take his Oath of Loyalty and be officially decleared the President of the Republic of Torontia.

This is a great day for Torontia, the People, the World and for global security and global freedom.

Seattle, capital city of Torontia

On the front lawn of the Torontian Presidential Palace, Colonel Vader Tanakis stood before the Attorney General of the Torontian Supreme Court.

Then the A-G spoke and read out the introduction of the swearing in ceremony.

"On this day, the 3rd of September of the year 2020, we gather to bear witness to the oath of loyalty that will be placed upon the President Elect. With this oath of loyalty, the President Elect shall formally become the President of the Republic of Torontia."

Then Colonel Tanakis put his hand on the copy of the Holy Bible the A-G held in his right hand and started to recite his oath.

"I, Colonel Vader Tanakis, do hereby swear to uphold the office of the Presidency of the Republic of Torontia."

"I shall execute the powers of the office of the Presidency to the best of my ability and to the advancement of the citizens of Torontia and the Torontian Republic."

And with that the A-G faced the crowd that came to attend the ceremony and proclaimed Colonel Tanakis as the 6th President of Torontia.

A day after the Presidential Oath of Loyalty ceremony, President Tanakis makes his speech to the nation and the wider world on what his government's intentions are and what policies will be implemented in Torontia over the course of this current year.

All across Torontia, TVs are on as Torontians watch the presidential address to the nation. Across the world, global media networks and cable news networks go live with President Tanakis's speech.

In the Presidential Palace in Seattle, Colonel Tanakis walks into the conference room and goes straight to his table, which is covered by micophones and recording equipment.

Colonel Tanakis then begins his speech.

"Dear citizens of Torontia and compatriots."

"Dear nations of the family of the international community."

"I would like to express my gratitude to all of those Torontians who have supported me and my efforts to do what is best for our nation. I would also like to express my gratitude to all nations who have supported my first term in office when I acted as leader of the nation in the capacity of the MCNU chairman."

"The elections that have just taken place and the victory that was won on our behalf now show beyond doubt that the Torontian people do NOT want this so-called democracy. The Torontian people yearn for the security, stability and prosperity that only ever existed under the New Order system under former President Paul Kaufman."

"Given the mandate the voters have invested in me, I will therefore announce that democracy shall NEVER again exist in Torontia and that the elections we have just held will be the LAST election that will take place in Torontia, EVER!"

"Former President, Dr. Buchanan, has supported this move and I will also announce that our two parties, the National Fascist Party (NFP) and the Christian Conservative Party (CCP) will now merge into a single entity. The NFP and the CPP are now one party, the New Order Party (NOP)."

"The NOP will be the leading party of the Torontian nation and Torontia will now become a one party state under the TOTAL and SUPREME authority of the NOP. I, President Tanakis will now declare myself chairman of the NOP."

"The Torontian Constitution has been ABOLISHED and will be replaced by a new consitution within the next six months. The new constitution will make the New Order the sole political system, authority and ideology of the Torontian nation. The new consitution will make the NOP the only party of the state, the Torontian people and the Torontian Republic."

"As of today, I invoke my powers of Presidential decree to order that ALL political parties outside the NOP are now ILLEGAL, as is membership or support of said political parties."

"Torontia must continue the strong record of economic growth that occured under my first administration and that of the Buchanan Presidency. Torontia will expand production, cuts business costs and will have balanced budgets and to eliminate government borrowing."

"Torontia will also work towards building up reserve stocks of petroleum, gas, water, food, gold and other essential items needed to keep the nation afloat should a global economic crisis ever occur."

"Torontians will have to accept that all of this will mean sacrifices on their behalf. Torontian workers will have to get used to NO trade union rights and lower wages. I've not thought yet. Really, there's going to be tones in the people (news reports and such, possibly a few government officials) about not liking Nazis. But I may have the government just say that it's the peoples right to choose. Then again, I could have someone charge you with election fraud. It just depends on what you do next, too. Right now, i'm leaning towards support, but over time it may change, especially as you go around killing homo's and nuking people. :p

Kanos liked Buchanan better than Tanakis, even though he was a lying bastard about his democratization of the country. He's not going to be all that happy about Tanakis coming back to power. OOC: I'm on CST, so we're 6 hours behind you guys on the other side of the pond. As for when I'll be on, it's tough to say. I've got some homework to finish up tomorrow, probably in the late morning or early afternoon, then I've got some other plans that will occupy me for most of the rest of the evening. I'm afraid I can't lock down a specific time, but rather I'll try to post whenever possible. Not terribly convenient for you, I know, but it's the best I can do.

The Premier of Mannatopia announced today that he is accusing Colonel Tanakis of election fraud. He demands that an international investigation take place as to the results of the election, and whether or not the colonel used his military influence to "scare" the populace into voting for him. Mannatopia is refusing to recognize the results of this new election, and considers the previous interim government to be the only valid rulership of the nation of Torontia.

In other news, the safety of comrade Norton, the former left-wing leader of Torontia, has been called into question. Mannatopia had been mantaining an air embargo to prevent a forced exile of Norton, but has lifted thi embargo. Comrade Norton is now encouraged to leave the nation of Torontia. Should it be requested, Mannatopian aircraft will provide a military escort to our base in the region, where we will refuel his aircraft so that he may make the rst of the journey to his chosen country as quickly and safely as possible. If he does not wish to take us up on this offer, than we will wish him luck on his escape.

Our Premier has reassured the public that while our air embargo has been lifted, the 60 JF-17As will remain at our base, as will the ground forces of the 1st Expiditionary Force. Plans are currently in the works to expand the ground forces that make up the base.

Our Premier asks that any nations with military forces in or near Torontia begin an operation to remove Colonel Tanakis from power, allowing for true elections to take place. While our own force is to weak to take on such a task alone, we will assist and move our forces into Torontia should other nations act first.

The Premier has a message for Colonel Tanakis: Your time of rule through fear and murder will not last forever. The world will not stand by while you butcher your people. Your days are numbered.

In a deep underground bunker staffed with only the most loyal of Lone Alliance Soldiers, guarded by multiple Jamming systems, through guarded doors in which all electrical systems are fried systamaticly by EMP fields inside a soundproof room, the Council held one of their darker meetings. "So they won," Said the Council member of the Conservative party, "Well at least they'll try and keep good family values. "But they abolished all rights!" Yelled the Liberal member. "They're executing people of our position," Came the Socialist and Communist members. "They have thrown away all of their beliefs, this is pure corruption of Allah's will!" Came the Muslim Member. "I'd have to agree, all morals are gone." Came the Christan and Jewish members.
Only two people had failed to speak. "Well what about you two?" One said to them. Each was the Centrist and the Nod Fascist. "Well I'll have to agree that this is wrong," Said the Centrist. "I don't care, we've been trying to bring democracy to these people and that damned Tanakis corrupted it, not to mention that the good doctor has also thrown in his lot with those we're trying to keep out of power," said President Berger angerly as she read over the results of the Torontian elections, "Something needs to be done, we can't let this stand!"

"But they've had the elections, madam President," explained Sectretary of State Johnson, "There is nothing we can do."

"There is plenty we can do, we have a carrier group in the area already, it would be nothing to deploy a Marine division as an intervention force," interupted General Saltzman, "If we go in there and remove this Colonel Tanakis and Buchanan, we'd be sure to please quite a few countries that have already removed that Kaufman character."

"We couldn't deploy Marine units fast enough, we need troops there now," said Berger as she stared at the General.

"We could have a JSOF team inserted into Torontia within twelve hours," explained Saltzman, "They could get in and out a lot more quickly and quietly than any regular forces, plus they are best suited for this kind of operation."

"All right, make it so, we need to arrest those troublemakers and put power back into the hands of the people," ordered the president, "But keep it quiet, I don't want them to realize what's happening until we have the Colonel and the good doctor in custody."

Brigadier Sam Carpenter was walking towards the Navy C-2 transport aircraft that the rest of his team was boarding which would take them to the carrier sitting off the coast of Torontia. His mission was one in which the Aequatian Joint Special Operations Forces had not undertaken in a long time, removal of a foreign leader. They would get in by parachute, but have to find their own way to the coastline for their extraction by the Navy.

He took his seat on the bench in the cargo hold of the aircraft while the rear ramp closed and the only sunlight entering the compartment was through the small portholes, "Here's the plan, the spooks are going to give us information once we're on the carrier, but to get close to this Tanakis fellow, we're going to have to play it Bogart and see what we can dig up to track him down."

[OOC: To all those planning on overthrowing the Tanakis regime, can you please wait until I've spirited Norton away into exile? I'm going to have the HCIA question him, and I'll consult with Torontia on what information he can divulge. After that, you're free to do what you want. I just don't want Norton getting killed in the crossfire or by a vengeful Tanakis.]

The HCIA agents had been anxiously awaiting the results of the election, and when the news came that Norton had lost by the slimmest of margins, they immediately made preparations to get him out of the country. They called Norton's cell phone, got his voicemail, and left a message telling him that the Gulfstream was still at the airport, and exile in Halberdgardia was still open to him. They urged him to take it, stressing that he was probably no longer safe in Torontia now that Tanakis was back in power. They also said they'd take in any family members Norton wished to bring with him. They hung up, then pulled the silenced MP5Fs they had brought with them out of the plane's safe, loaded them, and chambered the first round, just in case they had to fight their way out with Norton.

Tanakis was a tempory President during his first time in office.

He then handed power to Dr. Buchanan who was another interim President.

Tanakis has now won the elections has is now PRESIDENT FOR LIFE!

There is NOTHING tempory about this government.

The political system of Kaufman, the New Order, is now back in power.

While disgusted at the insulting comments made about Norton, the HCIA agents relayed their acknowledgment to Tanakis, and two agents left the plane, their MP5s strapped into slings. The agents calmly walked for a few minutes across the airport grounds until they reached the Hilton where Tanakis said Norton was staying. The agents walked right past the front desk, ignoring the wide-eyed looks they got for their weaponry, and took the elevator up to the fifth floor. When they reached the door to Room 556, they knocked on the door.

"Mr. Norton? We're here to pick you and your brother up."

OOC:Sorry Torontia, for some reason I keep getting you mixed up with Vintovia O_O. Also, when I called your president temporary, I meant that HE HIMSELF would be temporary, the Red Tidean goverment fully knows that the New Order is permenant, but they also know that Tanakis is a TEMPORARY President until Kaufmans released.

Hilton Hotel, Seattle airstrip No. 4

It was Jack Norton who opened the door to the two HCIA agents.

David Norton was sitting on the sofa resding the newspapers, all leading on the same story about the New Order being set up in Torontia.

Sitting on the other sofa was a guy who stood up and shook the hands of the two HCIA agents. He introduced himself as Brian, he was Jack's boyfriend.

Jack then told them that they had everything packed and were ready to leave.

David then stood up and started telling the HCIA agents of the massive election fraud that took place in Torontia.

Had the elections been fair and clean, Buchanan and Tanakis would have been lucky to get 30% of the total vote between them.

Another interesting fact that David told them was that Dr. Buchanan was also a secret high level official in the dreaded Torontian secret police, the General Security Directorate (GSD).

The whole election was a con and David went on about how Buchanan knew he would lose and only stood to divide the opposition vote to Tanakis and with the ballot stuffing, gave Tanakis is 'victory'.

The HCIA agents looked stunned at the allegations from Norton, but quickly regained their senses and quickly ushered the two out of the room.

"We thank you for the information, Mr. Norton, but we really should be going. We can set you up to speak with some higher-ranking intelligence officers about what you know when we get you back to Halberdgardia."

With that, the party of four left the Hilton, walking right past the front desk again, doubtless leaving the receptionists wondering just what the hell was going on.

Minutes later, the four had reached the Gulfstream. They boarded, and the pilot began speaking with Control about their departure vector. Just a few minutes later, they had taxiied on to the runway, and lifted off into the sky, headed back to Halberdgardia.

They can talk about how the elections were a con, the election fraud and stuffing of the ballots, how political opponenets and gays and other subversives are now going to prison camps and to their deaths after Tanakis won the election.

Remember for this use US/Canadian geography. Torontia is Canadian BC, US states Wahsington and Oregon.

However the Norton brothers cannot give you the current whereabouts of Tanakis or other leading figures of the New Order regime.

The Torontian Armed forces, including paramilitary groups are about 5.5million strong.

Torontia has HUGE stockpiles of chemical and bio weapons, but no nuclear weapons as of yet.

The Republican Guard, the elite urban warfare paramilitary army that does internal oppression and special ops has been reformed. It was abloshed by the democratic gov. after Kaufman fled as it was used in the university massacre.

OOC:Aquatio, what kind of ballistic missiles are they carrying? Conventional or Nuclear? And what range and acting type? Do they act like an IRBM or ICBM? Or do they act like a SRBM or MRBM? If they are IRBMs or ICBMs, then I suggest you do not utilise them, even the most accurate Intercontinental or Intermediate Ballistic Missiles would miss their targets by 50 meters, the only things they are truly good for is the delivery of WMDs. The aircraft screamed towards the Gulfstream. When they got to it, they confirmed it was the aircraft intelligence had described. They formed up, 25 fighters on each side.

The pilot of the lead fighter sent a message, being careful to try not to reveal the Norton was on board the Gulfstream.

IC:The first K-10B Cargo Plane touched down on the airbase near the Torontian Border. The soldiers got out of their compartments and marched in an orderly fashion down onto the airbase Tarmac, as soon as the plane was empty of soldiers and full of fuel, it rolled and took off, next down was a K-10A Cargo Plane, this one carrying 3 MBT-66 tanks. The 3 person crew in the scaled down troop compartments got out and got into their tanks and rolled onto the tarmac. Then the plane refueled and took off, no sooner did it did then a second K-10B landed, and the pattern continued. The K-10Bs ALWAYS carried foot soldiers and their handheld equipment while the K-10As carried the vehicles.

The Commanding Red Tidean General took stock of the situation, he looked at intelligence reports consisting of what the enemy has, what they COULD reinforce with, yadda, yadda, yadda. Both sides seemed about equal, with the Red Tidean-Torontians having a slight number advantage. He was glad that the attached Anti-Tank Brigade on that Infantry Division sported 175mm Electro-Thermal Chemical(ETC) Anti-Tank Guns, those would cut down virtually any armored vehicle the enemy threw against him, even better, they were easier to hid from the air then tanks. He wasnt to concerned about enemy aircraft, as he had State-of-the-Art MDM-4 Surface-Air Missiles, not to mention the M-1RT Tunguskas. And besides, although enemy aircraft were able to sting him, they cannot seriously hurt them... unless they deployed J-SOWs en-masse. Anyway, his armored division was fully on the ground by now, they were rolling out of the airbase as he thought. One of the two Mechanized-Infantry Divisions were arriving now, the first battalions on the ground.

The commanding officer of the Aequatian Army's IV Corps, General Lauren Adams, was walking across the tarmac of Anson Airbase just outside Magna Casa as her divisions mounted C-5 and C-17 transports for the military base in Mannatopia, where they would launch their assault into Torontia. The first to arrive would be the 16th and 17th Divisions to prepare the area for the mechanzied and armoured forces, the Marines would be under her command as well, but deployed to the same base by the Navy's Airlift Corps. The entire Corps would be deployed to the base within a month's time, however, it would not be combat ready for another two afterwards. The deployment time was not a factor however as there was a lengthy bombardment planned against the Torontian military by the Air Force and Navy, damage would be done, but not finished before ground forces had a chance to mobilize.

The Cargo ship got within one mile of Torontian waters before halting. "You got everything?" "Yes, we do." "Then kill them all," "What you even need to ask me that?" Only when my nation attacks, this is a corporation of mine. Terminus and Other corporations of gyrobot have independant standing armies and range from PMT to FT. Terminus was using PMT weapons.

We welcome any reinforcements you can send to our base. We unfortunetly, have none of our own to send. As a much smaller military, we are nearly stretched to the limit with this conflict. We have a substantial force remaining at home, but it must stay there, as Torontia, Red Tide2, and Leafanistan represent to great a threat to our nation to leave it undefended.

We are becoming concerned that the forces from Red Tide2 may take pre-emptive action against our base. They have built up a substantial military force in a base just across the border, and it is constantly growing. When confronted with this fact, they claim to be carrying out a "military excercise," which we belief to be a cover for an attack on our base. It is possible they may be encouraged by the missile attack you rightfully conducted in Seattle.

We propose a pre-emptive strike of our own. If we combine our forces at the base, we can move in and remove Red Tide2 from the base in Torontia. With the support of your navy, we should also be able to handle the reprisal attacks from Torontia proper.

The Mannatopian military will not act alone, but we believe an enemy attack to be eminent, and therefore request a fast response to this message.

The Halberdgardian Central Intelligence Agency Compound, Somewhere in Halberdgardia, 1536 Local Time

David Norton was slightly worried about his new hosts. The HCIA agents on the Gulfstream had treated both him and his "partner," Jack, rather well. Yet here he was, six hours later, in a dimly-lit interrogation room. There was only one remarkable thing about the room, and that was its spartan appearance. He was sitting at a table in one of the two chairs in the room, the other one set up to face him. Behind that chair was a wide one-way window, presumably where other agents and recording technicians watched him. The walls were a dark blue, almost black color, and the only light was from a single bulb dangling from the ceiling above the table.

Without warning, the door opened to permit a single HCIA agent, clad completely in black, a .50AE Desert Eagle on his hip. He carried a manila folder under his arm. He sat down in the chair, but did not look at Norton, instead setting the folder down, opening it, straightening the papers out. The silence dragged on for a few moments, then several, then several minutes. Norton watched him with a sort of horrified fascination. Suddenly, the agent sighed, and spoke.

"You don't want to be here, and neither do I, so let's get this over with."

Norton simply stared at him. The agent narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Are you just going to sit there, or are you going to start talking?"

"What do you want me to say? You haven't asked me any questions yet."

The agent gave him an exasperated look. "Well, let's start with anything you know about that bastard Tanakis."

"Well, as you no doubt know, he's a fanatical far-right-wing dictator. He sees fascism as the supreme form of government, and condemns all other forms of government as weak and deserving destruction. He hates homosexuals,” he said, his hatred of the man betrayed ever-so-slightly by his tone of voice, “as well as any other segments of society he thinks are deviant or anti-government, and has them summarily executed.”

The agent waved dismissively. “I could have gotten that all off HCNN. Tell me something I don’t know.”

Norton was beginning to get angry at the man. The former President of a regime Halberdgardia had hated, now a valuable informant, and here he was being treated like he was nothing.

“Fine,” he said, letting his anger creep into his tone. “The Torontian military.”

The agent perked up almost imperceptibly, and if the HCIA techs behind the one-way glass weren’t recording before (Unlikely, Norton thought), they certainly would be now.

“The Torontian military is a relatively large military, numbering about five and a half million men, including paramilitary forces. They use relatively advanced American weapons, like M-16s and H&K firearms, and air units such as AH-64s and F-18s. The entire military is American technology.”

“Weapons of mass destruction?” The agent’s stare was piercing.

“Yes.” The word dropped into the silence like a bomb going off over one’s head.

“Nuclear weapons?”

“No. One of Kaufman’s top priorities, and one that Tanakis is following himself, was the acquisition of a nuclear stockpile. They halfway succeeded: they have large quantities of biological and chemical weapons.”

“Do you know where Tanakis might seek nuclear weapons?”

“No. I’m guessing he’ll talk to the RedTide2 government or mafia about it, though. He’ll either attempt to acquire ICBMs ready to use, or enriched uranium and missile components to jump-start the Torontian nuclear program.”

The agent nodded. “How about the recent elections?”

Norton snorted derisively. “I should have beat that fascist bastard, but the election was rigged.”

The agent’s eyes widened slightly at this. He was quite impressed, as proof of election fraud would surely derail the Tanakis regime, but managed to control his reaction. “You have any proof of that, Mr. Norton?”

“Of course I do,” Norton replied curtly. “You didn’t think I’d flee my country without dirt on the new regime, did you? I’ve got documents and photos that detail the suppression of certain demographics, as well as the shipping-off of ‘subversives’ and homosexuals to labor camps or death camps.”

The agent was floored, but again allowed nothing to betray what he was thinking. “Let’s have a look at those documents, Mr. Norton.”

White House Press Conference, Washington, D.C., Halberdgardia, 1800 Local Time

“Welcome to HCNN. I’m Ran Dather, here live at the White House for a special press conference about the re-election of the Vader Tanakis regime in Torontia.”

The feed cut to the podium, where a press spokesman for the White House was standing.

“Ladies and gentlemen of the press, former President of the Republic of Torontia, Mr. David Norton.”

The spokesman stepped down, Norton ascended to the podium to replace him. This was his moment to strike back at those who had denied him his right to the Presidency, indeed, his very home.

“Greetings to the people of Halberdgardia. I know that the name of Torontia has highly negative connotations for many of you, but I assure you that I am not the enemy. Indeed, it was Vader Tanakis, head of the fascist regime currently holding my country in an iron grip, who usurped my own administration and imposed his own extreme-right-wing views on the government. The Tanakis regime is why I stand before you tonight.

“You see, many nations of the international community are highly displeased with Tanakis’ return to power. However, they have had no plausible, tangible justification to oppose him. I come before the people of Halberdgardia, and the world, to offer that justification. The election that brought Vader Tanakis to the Presidency of Torontia was a fraud.”

A collective gasp ran through the press, despite the fact that most of these journalists were hardened to nearly any type of news coming from the government.

“Yes, the election was tainted. Votes were tampered with, intimidation tactics were employed by Tanakis’ Republican Guard henchmen, and supposed ‘subversives’ and homosexuals were shipped off to labor camps and death camps. All this in the name of Tanakis’ deranged thirst for power.

“Now, Tanakis has insidious plans in store for Torontia. He has effectively crushed all freedoms of the people of Torontia, he will seek out nuclear weapons for use against anyone who seeks to oppose his regime, and will stop at nothing to make Torontia a major fascist power on the world stage. To the nations of the world, I say: Vader Tanakis must be stopped.

“I thank you for your time.”

The feed then returned to the anchor.

“That was Mr. David Norton, former President of the Republic of Torontia, speaking out against the Tanakis regime, accusing Tanakis of rigging the election in his favor. The HCIA has released excerpts of documents and photographic images Mr. Norton brought with him from Torontia, and we will display them for you. Please be advised, some of the following images are of a disturbing and graphic nature.”

The images that appeared in a slideshow format showed countless images of Republican Guard soldiers treating voters roughly, beating them near to death in some cases, spy-camera shots of Republican Guard personnel ripping up and burning ballots, the emaciated faces of “subversives” and homosexuals that were shipped off to the labor and death camps. Yet more images showed Republican Guardsmen inflicting Abu Ghraib-style intimidation tactics and even more brutal torture methods on “subversives” and homosexuals. Quotes of heavily blacked-out documents came up on-screen after the photographs, detailing Tanakis’ plans to rig the election, tamper with votes, intimidate voters, and to eventually carry out a Nazi-style mass extermination of homosexuals and “subversives.” It was damning proof of Tanakis’ evil, to say the least.

As the 12 man group snuck into Seattle they readied their weapons and approached the Government Palace. While two of the soldiers set up the Claymores at the edge of the street the snipers took up positions facing the entrance to the building. The hacker planted his online trap and they waited. At 12:01 they struck, the Virus within the Torontia Internet cut the power to the nation, soon after the snipers opened fire upon the twin guard towers. After both of the front towers were downed the Demo soldier ran up to the gate and placed a C4 block, he quickly ran back and detonated it, blowning an opening into the complex. Inside Colonel Tanakis began radioing for reinforcements, his personal guards moblizing around him, the majority of them ran to the front and busted the windows out looking out to the yard. Meanwhile Tanakis's snipers ran onto the rooftop to begin shooting down the intruders, all were cut down as soon as they opened the door, The jet propelled Shells going through all of them at once. Downstairs the soldiers looked out into a smoke cloud that had formed over the gate, then a strange winding sound was heard from the cloud, one of them ran up with IR scanners, and gasped as a figure welding a Gattling gun opened up on the left side of the building. No one in the windows had a chance.

Back across the street the commander began to listen in on enemy Communications, "We're on a time limit ladies," He said speaking into the Two way, that Colonel's got some tanks coming in, blow the back entrance, that that motherf*cker down!" The rear guard tower looked out to see to peopling running at them, quickly the Tower opened up with their machineguns, cutting one of them down as the other reached the base of the tower, The second soldier opened up with a pistol sized weapon, execpt instead of a bang a quiet puff sound came out, it was shooting darts. As the darts hit the two soldiers they instantly fell over dead. Placing the second C4 block at the base of the tower the soldier ran back as it was blown. At the front the M-79 soldier launched a pair of bombs through the second floor windows, with a pair of Booms the Flame Grenades set the 2nd floor on fire. Distracting the guards enough so that the back group could get in.

At the rear of the building 4 of the commandoes ran past the pool into the rear of the house. Taking the rear guards by surprise, and killing them quickly. That done one commando nodded to the Assassin of the group, with a quick nod in return the Assassin faded from view. And departed for his target, Colonel Tanakis. (To be concluded)

While we will not be mobilizing the 1st Aequatian Field Army currently garrisoned in Mannatopia against the nation of Torontia to eliminate the reign of Tanakis and his corrupt New Order. From this point on we will declare our state of war over with the Republic of Torontia and our refusal to recognize the legitimacy of the Tanakis regime as the rightful government of said nation.

However, this does not mean that we will no longer be monitoring the situation within the troubled Republic, we shall be keeping tabs on this nation and intervene against any outwards military actions made by Torontian Republican Military units. First off, don't take offense to my swearing, I don't mean to offend anyone and it is not directed at anyone, I swear a lot and like I said, it's nothing personal and I apologise to anyone who took offense.

I am busy of late, I have commitments at work, I have relationship commitments and I have other things that take up my time.

I was NOT using that as some lame excuse, otherwise I would not have bothered creating this thread in the first place.

The trouble with RPs is they either have to move fast or they die out, one example that comes to mind is an RP I was invloved with with my old nation of Algeristan, the Monitgnac Civil War. It died out because of Monitgnac not having enough time to post on his thread.

With my commitments outside of NS, this thread would have gone the same way without a proper conclusion.

At least I was being honest enough to tell you lot that I do not have that much time anymore to RP.

I hate RPs where you go away for a week or so and then it's 10 or more pages longer as everyone does IC stuff in your absence, this is more true with war RPs.

I doubt most of you would have consented to this R going at a slow rate where it would last for weeks, most of you would have got bored and left, I would be up for a slow RP, but I know most on here would not be.

Lone Alliance, you have a go at me like this is something I do often, I have RPed many times before and always seen it to the end, this is the 1st time, due to non-NS commitments.

Paul Kaufman's trail has only yet to be completed due to Allenmande having to deal with a private RL issue that he informed me about, and I respect his delay as his issue is far more pressing than NS.

I was being nice to you Torontia. I was saying how I could understand if you needed to do real life stuff. But don't think about restarting this after you ended it, swore at us (regardless of whether you apologized), and then go for days letting us think it was over. I have re-deployed my forces that were near Torontia. They are involved in another RP now.

I have had some serious problems with this RP. You spread it over 4 seperate threads, and you made no attempt to tell us that you were ending one thread and going to the next. You never put links to the new thread at theend of your last. I never even found the thread with the poll until after it was closed, and then you RPed based on its results.

Then, when you decided to end the RP, you stated that you were ending it, that the regime and the New Order would simply stay in power (essentially declaring victory), and stating that there was nothing anyone could do about it.

You have done a REALLY bad job here, and you really need to not start it up again. Just leave it alone, let your country cease to exist, and if you ever want to RP in the future, do it with a new country.

Well I never thought everyone would have got so worked up about this RP being called off.

Thus I thought maybe I should offer a chance to finish it off in IC.

Some of the people who took part in this RP, Lone Alliance, Red Tide2, Halberdgardia, Leafy, McKagan, I have had many months of RPing with and Hal, Leafy and McKagan are regulars in my RPs, so I thought maybe we should finish this off to so as not to lose good RP buddies.

I could start a new nation, but why??? I would have to have some nation with a 5 million population again and a shitty small army, at least with Torontia, the nation is big enough to fight wars with other big nations.

I would start over because a lot of nations (like McKagen and myself) will never RP with Torontia again.

As for not posting a link to the new thread, that wasn't the only problem. THe bigger problem was that you would start the new thread without saying anything at the end of the last one. Even if you couldn't post a link, you could at least do a final post like,
"I am starting a new thread titled (insert name) that this RP will be continueing in"
Instead, you just expected us to magically know that something had happened. I wasn't able to figure out that the RP had switched to the one with the poll until after you closed it. That's just not cool.

Also, while you have said that since my forces are deployed elsewhere, you will not ask them to come back, you are missing the point. Had the RP not ended the way you did it, I would not have removed those forces. THey would be there, involved. You have unnaturally changed the entire terms of the RP by doing things the way you have, and made it non-repairable.

If you are going to have a "bad week," you still have to not do things that you cannot take back.

To be in an RP, you do NOT have to have pages upon pages everyday! I've not got time to be here alot, i'm a fucking teenager! Other priorities come first. Look at the Frozopian thread. That's one of my favorite RP's EVER, it's been alot of fun, and it's been going as long as this thread and has like 9 pages. Froz only replies every 2-3 days, and the people who are in it only reply once/twice between his replies. My suggestions are to make it closed, give it some sort of direction that's not too extreme. Like don't start out with a massive attack, or, if you do, can we actually have some units moving around instead of long range ICBM assaults? Like Special Forces raids? Everyone else, lay off dogpiles, don't use 300,000 soldiers when he'll be up against alot of people. Torontia, don't use nukes on frigates. The RP CAN turn out great. Just keep it to 1 CLOSED thread, though. There's no real reason for thread hopping.

So McKagan would you like to conclude this thread properly?

Of course it would need a new thread, with the New Order regime taking power as the catalyst for the war, plus Lone Allince will have to retract the alleged death of Kaufman.

Yes, Frozopia is doing it quiet well. In a 10 page thread, we just now invaded.

What you do is avoid nuclear war, avoid long range missile warfare, and avoid letting a big landing take place.

Make it LOOK hard to get people on your shoreline. That makes the RP go to us just fighting an air war. Perhaps we could have some skirmishes with your navy too? Again, anything is possible.

As a McKagen ally, we are obliged to send forces to aid them and their allies in the removal of this dictator. The 2st Naval CBG and the 1st CNAF is being readied for depature to the warzone, and should arrive in 3 days.

Fleets consist of:

1x Eagle Aircraft Carrier
1x Donnet Helicopter Carrier
2x Gigantor Battleships
20x Frigates, Destoryers, Submarines, Support Ships
20,000 Marines and their equipment and vehicles

That sounds good, and I think I'd like to give diplomacy a chance again, I did drive too hard for war. Perhaps something along the lines of the 1990/91 Persian Gulf War, an ultimatum and a date for which it needs to be complied to, that way it gives you whatever time you need for real life issues.

As for military equipment used by my forces, anything you see in my storefront and as for infantry equipment, basically anything that the current U.S. Army and Marines use (Body Armour and communications, but no Land Warrior-like systems).

Well Torontia is my own USA style nation, just that it's a dictatorship, unlike the RL USA.

Torontians speak English, are either white or African-American (Tanakis is half black/half white), the Torontia legal system is somehwhat similar to the USA in structure, but not it's application in justice.

Torontia is made up of the North Western USA and Canada. Oregon, Washington, Canadian BC all make up Torontia. Seattle is the Capital and Vancouver is the main port city.

ALL the Torontian military is US stuff, the most advanced jet fighter Torontia has is the F-22.

TOrontia's cities are like it was under Kaufman, they are divided into two zones. The city centres, with their skyscrapers, shopping malls and high class nightlife are the rich areas and the poor/working class live in slums that are fenced in.

Poor people need a special pass to move within a city, like South Africa under aperthied, except Torontia's segregation is based on wealth.

Although fascistic, the New Order system is NOT racist in any way, so no comparisons to Nazism.

I know that means alot coming from me with the napalm attack history, but still, lets not completly destroy him. It should be more of a Desert Storm like mission for me. I'm going to go to make myself superior in the region and try to take Colonel Tanakis out with minimal civilian casulties. What does that mean? It means that anyone who doesn't want to risk me attacking them won't carpet bomb a nation with high numbers of my Sierra Force guys in it.

See, it'll probably ease the tensions people have towards me about the carpet-napalm attacks. That doesn't mean i'm not going to use napalm or fuel air bombs, but a large fuel air bomb or burning a forest down would be ALL I would do.
