INTERLOSIA NEWS TONIGHT

After the reports of the nuclear weapon documents found in Interlosia and the acts of terrorism in USAV, St Lucia and Julio is looking like turning to its shady past. The problems of the past are seeming ever present. However, with the exception of "Bordering Countries", Conflict between the nations in St Lucia and Julio is for now lessened. Of course, as we all know, an assassin killed a member of the "Bordering Countries" some months back which caused so much unrest that nations were forced to leave St Lucia and Julio and start of new life in Julio Verdy which is now a barren wasteland. Interlosia survived the quarrels of the past and are setting up a new life in a New St Lucia and Julio on the old ruins of the old St Lucia and Julio. A new and better region was built up and will prosper. Interlosia want to remind everyone in St Lucia and Julio that they can prosper. But only if they stick with the vastly superior nation of Interlosia. Thank you and goodnight.

After the obvious gloating of the larger country Interlosia, representatives on the USAV's senate have issued this short statement.
"We are greatly disappointed that Interlosia describes themselves as 'vastly superior'. In our view this comment is not a quote of which is sanitary to keep a region peaceful. We believe Interlosia is only superior in citizens. But after saying that, they clearly lack in Brain power. Good Luck and Peace to the nation. USAV RULES"

Well a clear reaction there, it is unknown as to whether or not Interlosia will respond, however let it be known, The People's Republic of USAV is a non hostile nation, we are keepers of peace and wish to live our happy unoppressed lives without the bother of war. Thus we hope that the Interlosians do not take this the wrong way.
In other news it is believed that President Patterson is interested in trading with the nation Economia Turbo, and is also wanting to make inroads into becoming allies with the Dark Church.

This a statement sent to the USAV from Dictator Marriott:

"Hello and good morning. I see the USAV are not happy with my comments that we, Interlosia are a vastly superior nation. Now there is no point in getting angry about words. All Interlosia want to do is allow you to prosper with us and it will be much better to all of us if you join us. I know that Interlosia has got the most number of citizens but that does not mean we are better than you in this way. So, if I offended you, I did not mean too. However, we are vastly superior with our money and we have surpluses of Uranium deposits at our disposal plus much, much more. You must realise that Interlosia will not be told what they can and what they can't do. But, I do not want conflict, so I wish for The People's Republic of USAV's leader to join me at my palace in the nations capital for a dinner, where we can sort out all our problems. EconomiaTurbo may join us but The Dark Church will not be joining us as they and their beliefs are not welcome here. Thank you."

In a surprise move, economiaturbo has released a statement.

Whilst not of the power in this continent, i know one thing for sure, and there is no way of OTHER countries prospering if any countries take the attitude taken by interlosia. 'You must realise that Interlosia will not be told what they can and what they can't do.' you must realise that this is the kind of thing that leads to war. every country must make sacrifices, and if interlosia is too stubborn to realise this, then so be it, but it will not share in our future prosperity, and i for one will condemn the country, in the event it continues to stage such a stupid way of life.

an angry statement from an angry nation. a recent survey taken on the ETBC (economiaturbo broadcasting company) website suggests that 93% of economians feel the same way. A nation united it seems?

The Interlosia Dictator speaks out:

"Who do you lot think you are. USAV and EconomiaTurbo! You must realise that without us, Interlosia, St Lucia and Julio will rot and die. I for one am surprised that you don't rate me as the dominant one in this region. Without me the trade of Uranium would not take place and many other things. All the people of EconomiaTurbo and USAV owe your lives and luxeries to Interlosia. I have therefore taken the measure of abandoning trade between the nations of EconomiaTurbo and the USAV until you realise how much you need us. I do not wish for this to get to a personal matter. However the country of The Dark Church who wants our uranium not be affected even though we are disgusted with their beliefs. Thank you and goodnight"

Dictator Marriott banning trade with EconomiaTurbo and the The People's Republic of USAV. Tough and possibly harsh words. Tranquility in St Lucia and Julio? Not a chance.

I understand that my nation is tiny compared to some of the super giants in this great region but it doesn't mean we're not good at things. Just like the Swiss, who pride themselves on efficiency we pride ourselves on cheese making techniques. Now in the Pacific, my nation's ancestral home there was some anti-cheese protests & some arrogant SOB tried to take our hobnons, but as God as my witness no-one and I mean no-one, takes our cheese & biscuits.

Well erm that was certainly an interesting conference, what I believe Patrician Woodhatch was saying is that Hobnobia will not be pushed around by the bigger nations in our region, and that whole thing about the big hats whereas it was an interesting way of putting it i don't think some people will appreciate it. We'll just have to wait and see.

There has been a lot of speculation about the patrician's mental health. Reports that he believes he's a hobnob & that he dresses in squirrell outfits and calls himself nutkin are ENTIRELY untrue. He does however have a rather strange thing with all inkblot tests looking like lumps of cheese....

ignoring the irrelevent comments of the hobnobians,the economiaturbons spokesperson has left the following statement when asked about his thought on interlosia.

'we have no time for your pityful nation. the only thing you exceed us in is your age. even then, if our country had the experiences of yours we would have twice exceeded you. your failure to capitalise on past experiences leaves you weak and feeble. when we catch up to your country, we will not be mice, but men. we will take advantage of our strength in different ways, instead of using it to bully smaller countries. if you think you are the best, move. economiaturbo for one do not tolerate incompetence. if you think you are better than us, got something we haven't, leave us, go to a place were you aren't the best.'

the spokesman then left, with a roar the crowds around broke into chant.
'HEAR US SHOUT. INTERLOSIA OUT.'

On a more serious note the Foreign Secretary added," This meeting sounds like the perfect opportunity to enforce & repair the bonds between our nations."

'HEAR US SHOUT INTERLOSIA OUT'

A trial should be given to the Interlosians. I believe that Interlosia needs to lose this attitude and leave the region, also its sister nation the Dark Church.

A recent news report on HBC (Hobnobian Broadcasting Corporation),showed angry Hobnobians shouting abuse & tomatoes at the Interlosian embassy, right here in our capital city of Andkel- Nob. This has led to mass spread rumour & speculation about the fate of Interlosia. Marchers within Hobnobia, USAV & EconomiaTurbo, all shouting the now popular,"HEAR US SHOUT. INTERLOSIA OUT", have marched on their nation's respective capital cities and this has led to an outcry of anger towards Interlosia & the Dark Church, within the general public.
The question, however, is will Interlosia leave? Military Analysts here in Hobnobia have come to the conclusion that unless a 3/4 pronged alliance is made against Interlosia, they could force their survival within the region because of their nuclear weapon capabilities. The question that the population of this region should be asking is:" Do we want Total War?"
The Hobnobian government is yet to make an official announcement on this, but this channel has recieved leaked documentation that implies they would favour USAV & EconomiaTurbo in an alliance if it came to all out war.

Hobnobian News Tonight

Our main story is the continuing protests against Interlosian Foreign Policy. Some protesters have already turned violent and riot police had to be deployed to disperse the crowds in the publishing town of Lancbia. No one was hurt but 15 protesters have been arrested.
In other news a car crash on the M78, heading East towards USAV has resulted in 3 deaths when a lorry was pushed over a bridge and fell into the river Hobnar.

Interlosia News can give you some breaking news that has just come to us from the Interlosian embassy in Hobnobian. A group of about 50 or so people outside of the embassy fired shots at the embassy. Witnesses there, say that they saw at least one man from the embassy who was shot and has been taken by an Interlosia helicoptor to a hospital located in Interlosia. The Hobnobian police are trying to stop the rebels... for now. Interlosia and the Hobnobians are not on the best of terms at the moment and... we have just recieved some breaking news that has just come to us right now! Dictator Marriott has just given the order to get his people back and out of Hobnobia. Helicoptors are on their way to Hobnobia right now. Dictator Marriott has also just given the order for the helicoptors to fire at will if they are shot at. A warning to the rebels at the embassy. The Hobnobian Embassy in Interlosia has not been attacked but Dictator Marriott urges Hobnobian officals to leave now. Tension between the nations at the moment. We will bring more news as we get it. And breaking news just in, here are some pictures of USAV's mighty armed forces combining in aid of Interlosia, the army the navy and the air forces are combining to help the stranded Interlosians stuck in the Hobnobian capital. These pictures are truly remarkable events. What is going on? and what is this??, shots are being fired, and it appears that 3 Hobnobians are down, I repeat 3 Hobnobians are down.

What has happened on this day?, what will happen to the strong HEAR US SHOUT INTERLOSIA OUT campaign in the USAV now? Will good ties between the USAV and the Hobnobians be severed. What is for sure is that this day has changed this Civil war for certain. We expect comments from all the nations in coming hours.

"Hello to all the people of Interlosia and to the nations of St Lucia and Julio. My nation will not be leaving St Lucia and Julio and I must thank USAV for their kind offering of help towards my people in Hobnobia. Also the man who was shot is recovering well. Hobnobia, I have noticed that you have something against my nation and yes, Uranium trade will still be banned between My nation and yours. If this tension continues between my nation and Hobnobia then I will be forced to stop trade by use of my navy by restricting Import and Export. Thank you."

Dictator Marriott angered at Hobnobia still. What will Hobnobia have to say?

"What is all this ridiculous nonsense from Interlosia? Ban uranium trading, we hardly have the resources or the people to need or use nuclear weapons and uranium was only been used in our power plants and nowhere else. Interlosian foreign policy is like comparing a giant to a pygmie, you rattle the saber at us and act like an imperial power, banning uranium trading will force our powerplants to shut down, resorting to emergency power supplies that will not last long, this will result in more riots and possibly more attacks against Interlosian nationals within Hobnobia. I urge the Interlosian government to recover any nationals and quickly, I also cannot be held responsible for the actions of a few fanatic militants. If Interlosian governmental aggression continues towards Hobnobia, accelerating to the point of war, I should hope that some of my fellow nations will aid in my defence as I cannot withstand the full brunt of an Interlosian attack, especially involving nukes or cruise missiles. May I also point out that it was Hansen who aggravated the original situation not I, with the protest marches. I am anticipating the worst and guerilla contingencies are already in place, along with the elite forces, to fight any Interlosian invasion."

"Tonight, I interview the patrician and the families of the three Hobnobians shot. Mr & Mrs Zimberdeedoo, are now coming to terms with the loss of their son, Zimberdeebeddlebox Zimberdeedoo. He was a student in the university of Hobnob and was killed in the shooting most probably by Interlosian troops. Mr & Mrs Gallaxico have also lost a daughter in the same way. Now erm, the next family now realise he was one of the militants and so understand why he got shot but if I ask the other two families to sum up how they feel in a sentece."

We have just got some footage of the Interlosian air force and naval units being set up and manned for something. Now, we do not know what this is for as yet. It could just be a training mission. But the amount of people involved in this seems far too great for just a training mission. Dictator Marriott has yet to comment on this, but according to some reports, it is just a training mission. However this training mission could be for an attack on a nation. We do not know as yet. Although Dictator Marriott did have this to say earlier:

"I have a brief statement to say. Hobnobia, your nation is against my nation for some reason and I for one am not happy with this. I know we can sort things out and there is no clear reason for war to take place. However, your people are one of the reasons why this tension has occured. My police and army are on clear instructions to arrest or kill any Hobnobian who comes in Interlosia. Basically for the reason that they may want to harm our Country. Im sure we can resolve things. Thank you."

OOC: Sorry but a nation of your stature and experience should really be trying find out how to play this game via other means. This thread is for nations that at least know what they are doing. Personally Zanem, you are doing yourself no favours at all in blatently disrespecting my nation in spelling it wrong. If you had even read the thread you would know that Interlosia and I are on great terms at this moment, and surely had you read that you might have replied differently. You are welcome to join in, just lose your UN status. Or at least come up with some good roleplay. If not why don't you make your own thread. Either way at the moment you had better understand that anything that I say I am saying under character, and my nation dislikes the UN as a result thats why I have said the previous. I hope you understand all of this and hopefully will join the roleplay and have some fun.

Today it is reported that USAV officials are in war preporation. With rumours that a nation with UN status is ready to come to the assitance of other nations within the region, led to a high alert being placed on the country. With the nations strong forces and guerrilla warfare it is believed that the USAV could withstand any nation that is up to around one billion in population. Although a non hostile nation, the USAV's President has released this short statement.

"With the UN's threat looming I cannot afford to let guard slip, anyone with suspisions of the UN shall be and will be terminated on the spot, I have nothing more to say. However I would like to send my best regards to the nation of The Dark Church"

A simple message there, will there be any replies or any nation willing to respond to the USAV's obvious hatred towards the UN?, it also seems like The Dark Church has something to do with this too. Only time will tell. Surely the citizens of all the nations in St Lucia and Julio will be wishing for a swift end to the war threat. However USAV, we will not attack any nation with UN status. We are a non-violent nation unless attacked. If we are attacked we will battle to the last man. Interlosia's Third in command Sir Martin Tine has given information to everyone in St Lucia and Julio

"Hello, on behalf of Interlosia, we have decided to cease trade with all the nations of St Lucia and Julio. We have done this for the reason that there are many traitors in St Lucia and Julio who may and will want to do harm to our country. We may suffer a bit from this but we shall soon recover. St Lucia and Julio is a mess. Hobnobia, USAV and EconomiaTurbo all should be ashamed of yourselves for the vicous words you have used to describe Interlosia as. USAV, you may have helped us in Hobnobia but this is no friendship. We have only an alliance to ourselves and our people. Tonight, the borders of Interlosia will be sealed and be manned by our armed forces. I warn any people to not go anywhere near our borders as a Fire on sight order has been given. Our reasons for this are simple. Assassinations have happened in the past. We will not let this happen this time. Thank you."

Interlosia are in a foul mood. Trade cut, troops on the border. What will the nations of St Lucia and Julio say about this?

Finally the nation of USAV has put its foot down. Enough is enough. Also in a foul mood the nation USAV had this comment to make.

" We have had enough and that is it, once again we find ourselves divided, and finally you will all feel the pain of it. Interlosia you should have stood down a long time ago, you and I will go our seperate ways. I am going to join a new region, and feel free to join. Interlosia and The Dark Church you are to be thrown the hell out of St Lucia and Julio, then find your own way around. For the rest of your foolish nations you can sort yourselfs out, but I am sure, if your head is in the right place, you will join me.

Well it seems that is it for the USAV, they want to go their own way, and will not be posting on this thread again. However there will be a new thread.
