OOC: Ignore this if the OMP is still around and kicking...I've been gone for a while.

Now that the Naval Empire of Unum Veritas has returned to the world stage, the government has seen fit to resurrect the Organization of Marine Powers (OMP). This alliance was once one of the stronger naval alliances in the NS world and it orchestrated one of the more creative surprise attacks seen in recent years. The alliance is dedicated to preserving the freedom of the seas for all, but is specifically designed to combat pirating and other malicious sea-going acts.

Membership in the alliance is an agreement to enforce international maritime laws and to supply ships and materiel should the alliance decide to take military action against a piratical or otherwise dangerous nation. However, the decision to take any such act is a democratic one in order to prevent a misuse of power.

Any nation interested that feels it has something worthwhile to contribute to the OMP should post here. All former members are highly encourage to post as well so I can get an accurate measure of interest.

While we are unable to join this organisation, we commend the members, both present and future and wish them the best of luck.
