Colonel Damoslav looked out across the mountins that would constitute as terrain for the training. He sighed.
"Another training mission, although this one may be slightly more intreasting than the others." He commented to himself. He turned around and trudged through the fields back to the airfield/barracks, five-minutes walk away.
As he walked back, whistling tunelessly to himsef, he wondered what the other members of this team would be like. He hoped that they spoke the common-tounge quite well. If they didn't, this would be a very hard training excercise.
Jera had been given the co-ordinates and showed up at the training facility where she looked for the native participant. She hefted her pack, and wondered if there were any other female participants as she began searching for the native.
*The roaring of jet engines in the background*
"Green light... 3... 2... ..."
Before the drop engineer had finished the count down, Barak had already jumped out and was soaring towards Krendakov. Instead of dealing with commercial airlines and all the hastle, Barak had asked if there were any military transports going to Krendakov. To his surprise there had been - although they didn't tell him the plane wouldn't actually be stopping in Krendakov but rather flying over it. When he learned of the transport method he was more pleased than infuriated - he lived for the thrill and speed, as he was now hurtling downwards like a bullet.

Damoslav continued walking towards the airfield, he was pretty close now. He looked up and saw a military jet flying overhead. He was surprised at this, though his surprised was even greater when a figure jumped out. Running with his head down, trying to minamise wind resistance, he pulled out his pistol and quickly ran towards the barracks.
He ran towards the building, and pushed open the door. Reaching round for the rack of KA-1s behind the door, he noticed that one of the participants had arrived. A woman with silver hair and deep, blue eyes. He shouted at her.
"grab your weapon, someone is dropping down on us!"
He grabbed one of the KA-1s and left the building.
Jera slid a small device from a pocket, and with a snap of her wrist extended the telescope. Looking up she watched the man fall. "He appears to be a somewhat insane participant." she called to the other man.

Damoslav turned round to the woman, looking slightly more relaxed.
"A participant? Can you work out what nation?"
Gazing round, Damoslav watched the figure fall.
*His voice unhearable to even himself at the speed he was traveling
"WOOOOH YEAH!!! Nothing like jumping from 30,000 feet."
"Oh shit... is that gunfire I hear. Now I get to have even more fun trying to dodge bullets.... HELL YEAH!!!"
"Nope, can't make out any insignia." Jera replied
The gunshots subsided and Blane Barak soared down to the ground. He deployed his parachute marked with the golden crest of the Dominion of DMG. He landed in a field in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere and then quickly got up and cut his parachute away. He opened his backpack to check on his posessions and then loaded up his pistols and rifle. On the way down he noticed a military instillation but a short way a way, so he began to walk in its direction.

Donovann hopped out of his rental car, and closed the door. He opened the trunk, and picked up his gear. He closed that, then walked over to two people standing over by a building, one of them holding a rifle. A parachutist had just landed, after dodging bullets. Tim shook his head, then jogged over, weighted down with the abundance of stuff on his back and under his arm.

Alexis Norkovkin had recived his orders.
"uhhh...training excercise, sir" he asked not to fond of the idea.
"yes captain...i know you would rather stay with the boys, but you will be representing the 53rd" he shaked Alexis hand"dont let us down"
"of couse not sir"he saluted.

53rd SORU,barracks.
Alexis packed his things said good bye to the guys and took a jeep to the nearby airfield.

Mirakou military airport.
Alexis boarded the small plane.
as the plane took of he began to sort his equipment out cheacking and double-cheacking every bullet, every pin, every buckshot and every inch of body armor. That was the way he was, even though he proved himself in combat and had the medals and scars to prove it,everything had to be perfect...he never trusted himself enough to just relax before an Mission.
the captain of the plane sent a message ahead to tell of their arrival within 2 hours, that they were givin clearence to land and that their would be a motorcade of somesort waitng for him at the airport.
Alexis was still checking his weapons, and hoped his teamates were not assholes."Time will tell" he said to himself,he then continued to clean his weapons and the silver badge over his left pocket,it was a falcon standing proudly, holding a star in its talons, with two old rifles ,or muskets he could never tell, going through the star.
He was to work with the best of the world,so he had to look his best he had to be at his best...sadly this thought made him clean, shine and buff harder.
Blane Barak strolled up to the gate at the military base with his pack flung over one shoulder and the sun reflecting off his sunglasses. He flashed his ID and then continued past into the base.
*Although Blane didn't smoke, he always kept a lighter with him that he flicked open and lit and then closed again repeatedly. He did this entire walk from the field to the military base. Some said it was a nervous thing, others said he used to smoke and was used lighting up, but the truth was that he just liked the beat the sound made and the heat of the metal after it was lit.*

At Vijay Dashain's house
0600 hours.
The alarm clock went off, signalling Vijay's workout time. He hit his alarm clock, and got up from his bed. He went into his bathroom yawning and prepared his sports clothes. He walked out of his room and grabbed a fruit. He then took out his MP3 and cellphone, and his shoes. He walked out the door and started his jog. While he was running-his cell rang. The Caller ID read: SOCOM
"What is it Command?"
"Vijay, how are you doing? Did I catch you at a bad time?"
"Every day is a bad time? What is the situation?"
"Nothing bad, you have been voluntold by the Joint Chiefs of Staff to participate in a Special Forces excerise."
"Okay, any special equipment neccesary?"
"Standard stuff. Extra euipment will be packed depending on the rules of engagement. A Smartruck 3 will meet you at your garage driveway."
"Understood, Command. Vijay Out."
Vijay punched the end button. He turned around and jogged back to his condo. 7 minutes later, he entered his house. He saw his wife eatting her breakfast.
"Would you like breakfast, Vijay", she spoke in Hindi.
"No thank you. Just toss me 2 cereal bars."
"Were are you heading to?" she was confused and worried that somthing might be the matter.
"You know the drill, I can't tell you. But I can tell you one thing. I will be excerising."
"Okay, Vijay."
Vijay quickly took a shower, shaved and put on his digital pixel camouflage clothes. He then sat on his shine and took out his pooja (Hindu book) and began his prayer and reading. After spending a few minutes, he got up and put on his socks. The didn't want to forget his kukri knife, because if he forgot it, it would insult his race and would have bad luck in battle. He remembered being punished by his father for forgetting it when he was a kid. He strapped on his kukri and walked into his son's room. He gave a small kiss on his son's forehead. He left his room and grabbed his cereal bars. When he was about to leave the door, the black Smartruck 3 SUV arried on his driveway. Vijay gave a kiss to his wife's cheek and walked out the door.
As he arrived to the SUV, at least 2 soldiers came out and saluted and opened the door. Vijay saluted back and entered the van. The SUV reversed out of the driveway and revved the engine and of they went.
It was going to be a 1/2 hour drive to the airport. While the trip he began eating his cereal bars. He watched the LCD monitor to be briefed on his mission.
After 45 minutes thanks to the robots (traffic lights), car acccidents, and other forms of delay. He finally arrive at Bhavan Patel International Airport. The SUV got security clearence to arrive at the SOF hanger. He got out of his car ad shook hands with the commander of Delta Force, Lt. General Mohammad. He was tolded he will be in a C-17 transport and his equipment is packed inside. He was told he would have time to prepare his equipment and his suit.
Vijay entered the ramp of the C-17. The aircraft took a few minutes to prepare and start up the engines. The the C-17 took off the runway to his destination.
TIm looked around. "So... Where is the entrance," he thought to himself. He began scratching his neck, something he did when he was nervous or unsure. He began to walk around, trying to see if there was someone who could help him...

When Lieutenant Glass finally arrived at the training facility he walked to the gate house and saluted the guard. He was dressed in generic military fatigues and black beret featuring a yellow star badge. A knapsack was slung over his back and he held a KA-74 assault rifle on his shoulder by way of a shoulder strap.
The gate guard saluted back. He asked for Micky's papers which he was given immediately.
"Noddestan eh? There's been a lot on TV about you lot these past couple of days, I hope you'll not be bringing that kind of attitude to this base."
"I don't know what you mean," said Micky in his heavy middle-eastern accent.
"No, I don't suppose you do. They say you lot ain't allowed out of the country without permission," he handed back Micky's papers, "on your way."
Glass was puzzled but he saluted and entered the training facility anyway.

In midflight...
Location: unknown
1200 hours
While the C-17 was cruising, Vijay got up and walked around. He mumbled to himself because he should have asked the Lt. General to give him a hoop and basketball. Unlike various SOF missions, he had comrades to talk to. But now, he had to find something to do. The only thing to do is to adjust his gear. So he went to work, he began adjusting his rifle and pistol making sure that it is accurate. He then began fixing and adjusting his Objective Force Warrior gear and making sure that all the componants, electronics, and software are working as well as it was designed. He just remembered, that he was suppose to sharpen his kukri. A kukri wouldn't be what it is called without being sharpened. He then pulled out the knife and a sharpening stone.
"8 hours left." The piloted said over the intercom.

The barracks wasn't particularly hospitable. It was no less than Glass was used to, and it smelled a lot nicer than he'd become accustomed.
He'd expected a single room, since this was Krendakov and not the cramped conditions of a Noddestani barracks, but there were two beds in the dorm; one either side of a pretty sizeable room with footlockers at their feet. A single window faced the doorway and cast a square of sunlight on the pine floorboards. Scratch marks and the slightly faded pattern on the floor suggested that once there'd been as many as six beds in the room, and the remenants of a blue, tacky substance on the walls showed posters had been displayed.
Curious, he went back outside and glanced at the door where he'd seen his name. Before he'd not bothered looking properly after noticing his own designation but now he examined it more closely:
Lt. M. Glass - Noddestan
Sgt. J. Ort - Theao
"Hmf," Glass muttered, remembering the delays at Theao international airport with distaste. He looked around at the other doors in the corridor.
Across the corridor were a couple of majors and further down he realised that the two colonels had their own rooms and that obviously someone had dropped out - judging from the incomprehensible scribble on one of the doors.
He turned back into his own room and dumped his knapsack on one of the beds and then headed back out to the parade square.

Alexis, looked for his room.....he passed a Noddestan soldier, the uniform gave him away.He tiped his head down in a way of saying hello but keeping his face serious.
He then came across a door....the names were scratched off since he was replacing somone else...this must be his room,he could not make out the name of his bunk mate....he droped his stuff on the floor...but kept his pistols at his side.Still puffing at his cigar.
he procceded out to the parade ground....taking mental notes as he went.
He finished his cigar and went back to his bed....he lied down and read his book The Art of War....he put it down abot five minutes later and fell asleep.
Finding her room, and the fact that she had a 'room-mate', she wondered how the Nodd would react to a female 'room-mate', or if the M stood for a female name. Tossing her pack on a bed, she returned to where she'd met the native.

"ETA about 2 hours sir!" said the pilot of the transport helicopter. "great, zenn i shall catch up on zleep."
said mark as he lay back in his seat, dreaming of what was to come when he arrived at krendakov.
he woke up as the helicopter started shifting "what zee hell iz this?!" screamed mark
"just a little turbulence sir, nothing to be worried about" said the co-pilot
"how far are we know?" "about 30 seconds away.now, you know the drill, we
can't drop down there only you can, international orders. so, your going to have to use the rope"
"great, 2 hour flight and your making me jump out....*sigh*"
"ok we're dropping it down" said the pilot.
"drop in 3...2..1..." mark made his way down the zip line and watched the
helicopter fly away. he was finally there.
Donovann, passing by the Noddestan soldier, looked at his boots, trying not to make eye contact. He knew that he would have a bit of trouble getting along with this man...
Blane entered the military base's main complex and noticed a sign that said 'Barracks' on it. He decided he might as well find his room and put his bag down, so he followed the sign until he reached a building that appeared to be a barracks. He walked inside, noticing a few people here and there, but did not pay any attention to them - instead he looked around until he found a door on it with his name...
Major Blane Barak
...
He didn't bother looking at who his bunk mate, but instead tossed his bag on the ground beside his bed, pulled out his Viper R-90 and laid down. He fell asleep isntantly (as was normal with him) with one hand on his sheathed knife and the other laid across his stomach with gun in hand - or at least it looked as if he was asleep - it was hard to tell, as he didn't was very calm and didn't make any noise while he was sleeping and his sunglasses blocked any view at his eyes.
Tim walked over to the sign marked 'Barracks', and looked for his name. At the bottom was "Cpt. Timothy Donovann". He walked over to his room, and knocked on the door. He didn't want to barge in, ruining anyone's privacy.

ooc: Whilst relations may have soured between Noddestan and SkyCapt, Lt Glass is unaware of the situation. He's been in-transit for quite a while and has been warned off exposure to what his government calls 'foreign propaganda'. As far as he is aware all allegations about SkyCapt in The Citizen are true and regards all SkyCapt citizens as thieving immigrant bastards as a result.
ic:
Glass made his way down the corridor, keeping a tight-lipped expression on his face as he tabbed past the other occupants. He didn't recognise a lot of the insignia on uniforms and such, but he did recognise the SkyCapt soldier when he passed.
As a boy, Glass had lived quite close to a SkyCapt family who had always kept themselves to themselves but nevertheless had drawn the scorn of the neighbourhood. They'd be called 'Cappies' behind their backs, the children would throw bricks through their windows and the adults would moan about them, "coming over here - stealing our jobs". They were recognisable on the streets of Hub City for their blonde hair, pale pink skin and piggy little eyes which stood out against the light brown skin of their hosts. None of them wore beards, despite the fashion of the time.
This Cappy stared at his boots as Glass passed him. He resisted the urge to spit, although it was strong feeling and he'd have done it without thinking if he were at home.
OOC: Wait, wait! I've got an idea... No wait, you're already roommates with Theao. *shrugs*

Micky went to the messhall but they'd stopped serving for the night. There were a couple of vending machines but he doubted they'd take his currency; he fished around in his pocket anyway and drew out twenty-six Noddestani units in small change, an out of date half-crown with ex-President Chamberlain on it, and four Phoenixian dollar bills. An examination of the money slot on the coke machine revealed the Phoenixian bills too wide to fit properly and although the units would go into the machine, they kept dropping out again. When he tried the half-crown it wedged itself in and refused to come out until he bashed it with his fist. It dropped through and registered as four cents. He hit the coin return button.

In mid air...
Location: almost to Krendakov
Time: 1600 hours.
Vijay woke up from his usual afternoon knap, to have some tea. The C-17 was filled with the scent of leaf being boiled. The crew chief was on the gas stove making tea for everyone on the plan. So Vijay got up and walked up the stairs to get his tea. He grabbed the cup, dish and a small snack. He walked back down and took a sit a drank his tea.
While Vijay was doing that. The pilot began communicating to Krendakov.
"This is Fatman-10, we are here to drop of the package. Requesting permission that either we paradrop him or should we land in your airport. Over!"
Jera had returned to the room. She stripped down to a short shirt and pair of panties, she then laid down on the bed, on top of the covers and began reading.

Alexis shrugged.
"Anyway, I'd better get some sleep before tomorrow," he shook Alexis' hand again, "good to meet you."
"Likewise."
Micky retreated back down the corridor to the dorm. The door to his room was closed when he got there but he couldn't remember whether he'd left it like that or not. He opened the door without knocking.
"Oh, err, I'm sorry... I..." seeing the half-naked sergeant sprawled on the bed surprised him greatly, he backed out of the room and looked again at the door to check it was his room. It was.
Jera looked up, followed by getting up. Walking over to the stammerer, she stuck out her hand and asked, "You wouldn't happen to be L.T. Glass, would you? Either way, nice to meet you." She commented, seemingly oblivious to her state of dress, or undress as the case was.
Donovann was walking back from the restrooms when he went past what apparently was the Noddestani's room. He noticed a half-naked woman standing in the doorway. "Must be the soldier from Theao," he thought to himself, smiling a little as he saw the Noddestani's expression...

He looked for some other drink, and spotted a fountain. Dumping the can in a trash can, he ran over to the water fountain and cleansed his mouth of the horrid taste. "Like 30 year old coke... "I, uh, I, ah," he attempted. He couldn't stop noticing Jera's nipples. They seemed to get in the way of his eyes and stop him from concentrating, making him unable to speak properly. Even when she glowered at him for dropping the flask on her foot, his eyes remained locked on her chest.
Alexis walked past and noticed the spilt drink...."Ohhh dear...miss please take this napkin i found near the lunch area,i have plenty...my room has no "paper."
she chuckled...Alexis thought she was very beautiful...but maintain control.
Alexis was just leaving when he remebered what Glass did at the cola machine. He turned and poked at his shoulder, Glass turn to him.
"Ohhhh and Lieutenant, stop looking at her chest." he smiled
Glass' face turned red with embarrasment. He said it loud enough for her to here it.
Alexis turned away and smiled he did not like the idea of a Lieutenant correcting a captain.
he turned and started back to his room.
Hearing the commotion in the hallway. Blane woke up with his gun in hand and knife on sheath where he left them. He stood up and walked to the door where he now noticed it said Captain Timothy Donovann. He walked into the hallway and down to where a few other people were standing together...
"So, what is so important that you guys had to make enough to noise to wake me up - huh? I was busy dreaming about these two twins I was doing last week and right as the good part started - I hear these voices coming from down the hall."
At this point he noticed Jera Ort standing there...
"Oh, figures - had to be about a woman. Carry on then, but next time someone wakes me up, this gun..." checking the clip in his Viper R-90, "...well you catch my drift... Carry-on."
Tim stood by the vending machine, watching all the going ons with amusement. A noticeable ruckus had been started by a nearly undressed woman... He chuckled.

Glass took a deep breath in. He nodded once, with a resigned look on his face and walked past Ort into the room beyond. She'd strewn her gear all over the place with careless disregard for personal space.
He turned back to where she was leaning on the doorframe. The way the flourescent light in the corridor lit her from the back was breathtaking. He pursed his lips and spoke, "I am tired. We will sort this out in the morning."
"Good idea," Blane said to Glass. He then turned to towards Jera, "By the way, I didn't catch your name sexy".

Damoslav grabbed the dropped hip-flask from the ground and made his way outside. He noticed that the Roman Republic representative had arrived. Inverting the flask, he shook it several times, getting out the remaining liquid.
"Wlcome to Krendakov." he shouted, while running towards the man, "I am Colonel Damoslav."
"No, you didn't," Jera replied as she headed into the room...
"Oooh. Feisty - I like that."
"Who's there!" cigar still in mouth."
He then walked took a final look at Jera and walked outside. He liked how the cool air felt inside of him - almost as if it were pure and refreshing. He noticed someone with a cigar so he decided to see if he wanted a light (as he always kept his lighter with him), but when he walked over the man pulled out a pair of pistols.
Responding by aiming his Viper R-90 at the back of the man's head, he said, "Easy there soldier - You have two choices, I could either: A, blow your brains across the side of the building or B, offer you a light... I have been wanting to shoot something for a while, but the decision is yours."

Glass blinked. It was as though Jera had blanked him out of her mind completely. He sat down on his bed. Then he got up, moved Jera's gun case out from underneath him and sat down again. He took off his boots and wiggled the life back into his toes.
Then he stripped down to nothing, got into bed and fell asleep. Instantly.
After a while, he began to snore.

Jera looked over as she saw Glass moving around. Seeing him move her gun case, as he got ready for sleep, she realized she'd made a bit of a mess with her stuff, gathered it into a pile on her half.
Checking the time, she flicked the light out and fell asleep.
Tim lay awake in bed, wondering how Glass would fare with Jera in the same room. He rolled over and flicked on the lamp. He picked up his book, and started reading. Before long, he fell asleep, the lamp still on.
There was no reply from the Morvonian soldier, so he shrugged him off and walked back into the building.
He walked back into his room where ne noticed Tim had fallen asleep sprawled across his bed with a book in one hand. Blane pulled off his shirt, turned off the light, and climbed into bed with gun in one hand across his chest and his hand on his sheathed knife.
*Sometime later that night*
A beeping noise from his earpiece woke him up. (His earpiece kept him connected to DMG Strategic Command Center along with all top secret information and the access to call in backup. It was connected to a team that of information officers that served him personally - if he needed any information his team would find it as fast as possible.) Much of the time he turned off the earpiece as he wasn't concerned with the news in the Dominion - although he had been listening to it on his trip over on the transport plane, and had forgotten to turn it off after he "landed". He exited the room and began walking down the hallway as he listened to the earpiece.
The earpiece was buzzing with news reports from the major stations in DMG, "Unconfirmed reports say that earlier events involving a UFO was in fact a sattelite that had crash landed in the Dominion. The military had sent out recovery teams to secure and inspect the sattelite - but we have new reports that fighting has broken out between Dominion forces and agents from an unconfirmed nation. We will continue to update you as we learn about more information."
Blane turned off the earpiece for the time being. A plethora of emotions began filling his body - he felt angry because of the attack, sad because men he knew would die, but most of all frustrated because he wasn't there to help. He slammed his fist against the wall and then walked outside and sat down on the step to clear his mind.

Mark suddenly awoke to the sound of a fist slamming something. "what the hell?" said Mark, as he slowly unholstered his glock and cautiosly made his way down the hall. he felt a cold breeze and noticed the door was opened. he walked out and noticed the DMG soldier sitting down on the steps.
"everything all right?" asked mark, as he sat down next to him. "i just got word a fight broke out in my country." "who attacked?" asked Mark, feeling bad, yet interested to know more. "a sattelite crashed into the dominion and our men are fighting an unknown enemy." "that sucks" said Mark "but theres nothing you can do now. you should get to sleep. we're gonna need it."
as Mark said that, he stood up and headed back toward his room, reholstered his gun, and fell asleep.

He saw Sgt. Klein with Major Blane Barak, outside on the steps.
He knew that it was about the war over that satalite.
"Sir...sargent perhaps you should get some sleep both of you?...and major i think i pick B"he smiled
the major gave a very faint and quick smile and leaned over to light the cigar.
"Would you both like one?"he palmed two cigars and put them forward.
"Good choice. Oh - I dont smoke, but thanks anyway," gesturing to his lighter, "this is just so my hands to get bored and trigger happy. You are right you probably should get some rest - I am going to go for a run and then workout. I need to get rid of all my energy. I will catch you guys in the morning... err... in a few hours."
With that he stood up, holestered his gun, and started to run down the path and around the base.
Jera woke up, as she was use to low sleep, and micro-napping. Changing into a pair of dark green shorts and a dark green t-shirt and headed out to the track.
While he was running around the track, he spotted the woman who scorned him earlier - althuogh due to recent events he had forgotten about the goings on of the previous night/day. Although he didn't really feel like talking to her at the moment he didn't want to appear as he was avoiding her - as she was behind and closing in, he couldn't slow his pace (that would make the meeting faster) and if he increased it to a sprint it would look obvious. He concluded that all he could do was to remaing jogging and trying to keep his mind clear of the recent events.
Seeing the other person on the track, and seeing she was catching up to him, Jera continued running. As she caught up to him, she realized it was the same guy who was 'hitting' on her earlier.
"Hello," She said as she caught up, "I don't believe we've been introduced."
"Funny," he said in a most somber manner, "The name's Blane... er... although you can call me big daddy," he said in a less than convincing or comical manner. He was trying to be his normal self, but it was hard with so much on his mind. He began flicking his lighter open and closed again as he talked.
Tim was taking a walk about the track, with sleep apparently avoiding him. He noticed Blane and Jera running about. "Nice pair," he thought, his hands in his sweat pant's pockets. He could see his breath in the darkness around him, and he gave a little shiver is his clothing.
"Nice to meet you again Blane, Jera here." She replied as she continued running while he fidgeted with a lighter.
As she ran off in front of him, Blane couldn't help but feel bad for the way he had talked to her. He had momentarily stopped fidgeting with his lighter, but as he ran ahead to where she was on the track he began fidgeting again and said, "Hey, I am sorry about the way I treated you earlier. I should remember the teachings of my people..."
"Forget about it." Jera replied, "But what are the teachings of your people?" She asked with interest as she kept up her pace.
Donovann, having loosened up, went onto the track and began jogging. After a while, he shifted to a slow run. He noticed Blane and Jera conversing ahead, and slowed down, not wanting to intrude.
"You are too kind," Blane said in response. "Ahh, the teachings of my people.... indeed... well, they are very detailed and complex, but I shall try to explain them."
"In DMG it is belived that we are here to serve our nation and ruler. We follow the warriors code of ancient ancestors - a code that is built on respect of your friends as well as your enemies. We serve the code in order to serve our leader in order to serve our nation.
Our nation is comprised of three groups of people. The Supreme Ruler is at the top of the heirarchy, he by himself is the first group and rules over all citizens of DMG, the second group is the women of DMG, and the third group is the men of DMG. The Supreme Ruler has complete power and prosides over all - the women are treated as the lords of yester year, and the men serve them. As I said the men live to serve the code and the nation, the code is respect and the nation are the citizens also known as the women.
So, I lived my life serving others and in order to honor my father who was a great military general, I joined the military.
I am sure, I did not explain it well - it is hard for those who are not of DMG to understand why I serve... but I am a soldier, I follow orders and do not ask why. If my ruler was to order me into hell, I would march with gun in hand and chin held high.
I have not been in DMG for a long while... though recent events have made me think about the teachings more and I have vowed to fllow them..."
"I believe I understand." Jera replied, "All in your nation serve the ruler, then the men serve the women. If I understand correct, you joined the military because it would please your father?" She asked
"Well yes and no... you got most of the philosophy right about the men serving the women, although I joined the military to honor my father," stressing honor, hoping that she would understand... but when she didn't he spoke quietly, " he... er... he was assassinated by a rebel sniper," Blane became quiet as he spoke these words.
"I understand." Jera said as she realized what Blane meant. Rather than mouthing meaningless platitudes, she continued to run the track.

Donovann watched as Jera and Blane sobered. From what he heard in the wind blowing his way, Blane had lost a father to a rebel sniper. Donovann sobered too. He knew what that felt like. He began seeing the incident in his mind again. Then he remembered things he loved about his family; His fathers comforting words; His mothers touch; his siblings' playful characteristics... Donovann sighed, and stared blankly at the wall in front of him. "Also... I have more bad news." Donovann took a breath. Nothing could be worse than what he had just heard. The commander continued. Colonel Damoslav staggered down the corridor, a quarter full bottle of vodka in his hand. He came to the door to the exterior and, after fumbling with it for half a minute, managed to open it. Tumbling through the doorway, he noticed Jera standing there. Without warning he marched up to her, put his arms around her neck, shouted
“I love all you guys!” in Krendian, let go, hiccupped, wobbled for several seconds, unceremoniously fell on his rear and passed out.
Jera looked down at the thoughtly soused man. "Is this the guy who's suppose to be in charge of this excersise?"
She was slightly disgusted, addiction in any form was repulsive to her, part of her past that was best and throughtly forgotten.
After Blane finished working out, he took a shower and then returned to his room. As he entered he noticed Tim slumped against the wall, with tears running down his face...
"Hey man, whats wrong?"
Tim was startled, and wiped his face, taking a deep breath. He blinked a couple of times, and stared at the mirror. Was he that grieved? He turned, and looked at Blane. "Uh, ah, nothing..." he paused and watched as Blane stared at him, who obviously would't believe him if his life depended on it. "OK, ok... A rebellion started, and now I'm torn between my friends, or the betterment of the country. That, and... I'll tell you later. How did your run go?"
"All right, I guess. Jera caught up to me and we talked a little. Although it didn't really help me clear my head, which is why I was running in the first place."
Blane walked over to his bag and pulled out a sniper rifle and an M4A1. He then turned on his earpiece to listen for any news...
"Huh, no news..."
He was walking out of the room, when he turned around and looked at Tim for a minute, "I just want to say, I know how you feel... I lost my friends and family during a rebellion; Right now my country is at war right now and I had to make a decision whether to stay here or return and fight. I have made my decision already, but only you can make yours... Just remember not to regret your decision."
Blane turned into the hallway and noticed a drunk Damoslav lieing in front of Jera. He turned back one last time to Tim and said, "Oh, and if you want to talk, I will be at the shooting range."
Turning to Jera, he just looked at her and then at Damoslav lieing on the ground... "Huh"
He then turned and began to walk away towards the shooting range.
Noticing Blane's confusion, she called out, "He came in with a nearly empty bottle, reeking of vodka. He stumbled over, croaked something and passed out." She then closed the door, propping the drunken colonel against it.
Tim got up, and walked out of the room, lugging his AR-80 with him, along with a few of the bulky clips. He began to half-jog half-run towards the shooting range. He walked over to where Blane was, and loaded his rifle. He was hesitant as to where to begin, but finally gave up and stood there, firing.
After noticing Tim walk up beside him and begin firing, Blane stopped and watched him unload a clip. "You are good shot, but I can tell you got a lot of anger in you right now..."
Tim turned, and gave a small smile. He sighed. Might as well start now. "My future wife was had a desk-job at Ravencorps East, an industrial center in the middle of nowhere, 150 miles from the nearest major city. Their job at Ravencorps is to manufacture arms, vehicles, and to test and refine experimental equipment. Anyways, it was one of the first places to be attacked, and the RIA Corps stationed there was outnumbered. Having fallen, Ravencorps East became a major rebel supply center, and was obviously a target for air strikes. But before the first bomb was dropped there, she was hit by a stray bullet, and before RIA Medics could help her..." Tim swallowed hard, and his voice trailed off. He turned, and fired off the last needle in his clip, forcing all his anger into that squeeze of the trigger...
"I understand," said Blane empathetically as he fired a couple of rounds at a tree to the right.
"So... what are you gonna do...?"
"I don't know... The government wants me here still, and since I have no objections, I guess I'm here. But if I get back and find the rebellion still alive, I'm going with the government..." Donovann trembled, then gained control. "Rebels are the ones who have ruined my life. They took my family, and now..." He clenched his jaw, trying to keep his rage under control. He finally steadied himself enough to get off a shot. He missed the target completely, and made a mental note to never shoot his enemy when he was angry.
"I know how you feel..." watching Tim shoot off a round and miss...
Trying to turn the subject away from something that was sensitive to Tim, "Thats a nice gun, you got there... what kind is it?"
"Oh, uh," Donovann fired the last shot, then turned to Blane. "It's actually a Gauss Rifle, the brass let me take it here. Something about sharing tech with potential allies or whatever. Very loud, very powerful... And very unstable. I've had about 20 jams overall, with an average of 2 per day, which makes it unpreferable in combat situations. Of course, new versions are being made, but you know how that is..."
"What if it jams during combat... Do you have a backup? I brought four pistols, two assault rifles, one sniper rifle, and two SMGs... just in case - you know."
Jera grabbed her pistol, some ammo and four rectangular boxes. Heading to the range, she noticed Blane and one of the others talking.
Going up to them she asked, "Would either of mind helping me?"
"I would be glad too... What seems to be the problem?"
"Nothing serious, just target practice." She said with a grin, awaiting the inevitable reaction.
With a inquisitive and slightly frightened look on his face, Blane managed to say, "Wha, what do you mean... Ta-target practice?" Although he wasn't scared of the what the answer was.
At that she smiled and pulled out the boxes, each one contained golfballs. "Could you throw two at a time down the range one right after the other, but in different directions?" She asked as she slammed the clip into the pistol.
Blane let out a sigh of relief when she said that, "Phew... Sure thing," he said as he picked up the first few golf balls, "Do you want them to be thrown fast, or sort of lobbed up there, and just tell me when you're ready for me to toss them."
"Surprise me both when you throw and how, the more randomness the better." Jera replied, "The more balls in air the better as well."
As she was about to finish her sentence, Blane turned and threw two golf balls - one to his left and one to her right... The first one he threw in a slight lob while he threw the second one like a baseball pitch.
As he threw she swung the pistol up into firing position. The second was targeted first, the ball exploding with the impact force, the first was turned into shrapnel as the bullet turned it into fragments.
"Huh, you're a pretty good shot you know that. Where did you lea-" Quite impressed by her performance, he decided to test her again, and in mid sentence he fired away two more golf balls. He threw them in different directions, but this time - as she had not been easily tricked last time - he threw them both as fast as he could...
The first was vaporised in mid flight, while the second was nearing the end of it's arc when it was destroyed. "Next."
ooc: ignoring Roman Republic's post, as we are at the firing range... read back a little

"So its like that, eh." He let another ball fly, "I've got to trust you with my life - but you dont trust me with your past," he let the second one fly.
A beeping sound in his ear... 'important information,' he thought. He touched his finger to the earpiece and his clicked to life. A voice started talking, "War has broken out in the Dominion. Classified sources tell me that the unknown crash from eariler today is linked to a firefight occuring on the eastern side of the nation. Reports of sniper fire were heard, followed by the sound of an alarm and extreme activity in the area. Soruces report that a patrolling helicopter fired four hellfire missiles at the sniper reports. The government is now locking down the capital of Viscount-ania, and defenses forces are being prepared in order to repel an invasion."
"So, it begins..." as he clicked off the earpiece.
"It's not that I don't trust you, it's just I can't tell you." She said as she blew apart ball 9 and 10 out of twelve.
"Oh and it's just training." She commented to the dude with the odd buck-knife.

"Thanks For telling me, that everything is okay." said Vijay looking at the woman who looked very beautiful. "My name is Colonel Vijay Dassain, What are both of your names? I you don't mine my asking."
Vijay then put back his kukri in its sheath.
"Huh," Blane remarked as a man asked if everything was ok. How could he know about the war already...? "Oh," he heard Jera remark that it was just training and realized he was talking about the gunfire, "Yeh, what she said."
Blane turned back to Jera, "Can't or won't," firing off to more golf balls.
"The name's Jera." The eleventh ball was torn apart.
"Both." She replied as the twelfth and final golf ball was turned to powder.

"They're my golf balls, so what I do with them is my buisness, now isn't is?" She asked of Vijay.

"What, did you just wake up one day and knew how to shoot like that... And you certainly don't need to worry about me - I have no plans of dieing anytime soon." He picked up a piece of wood, pulled out his knife, and began to widdle.

"No, I don't know who my trainers were, beyond basic at least." Jera replied
"I dont believe the lady was talking to you... and don't try to threaten her with a court martial - got it."

"Actually what I believe is understood, is that I am standing here with 2 Viper R-90s in my holesters and a M4A1 around my neck, not to mention two more hidden pistols and a knife... Should I demonstrate them for you."
"Man Blane, you don't believe in packing light do you?" Jera asked
"Well you never know when you're going to need to blow some asshole away - Be prepared or be blown the f*** away," staring at Vijay the whole time, "Besides I haven't gotten much target practice today... and a moving target would be nice," Blane uttered as he was grinning.

But I'll leave you alone, but threatening an officer with a weapons is a worse as it gets, but I wouldn't want to mess with your guns." said Vijay to the man with the gun. Vijay reached around his back and pulled out kukri just as a precaution.
"I'm sorry for misunderstand to whom you were talking to. But in Roman rules, all NCOs and lower rank officers have to listen to all high ranking officers. I do not want to judge your military's rules." said Vijay who turned his face towards Jera.
"Both of you quit arguing before I get tempted go after another two sets of balls." Jera commented, her tone leaving no doubt what two sets of balls she was talking about.
"You don't know anything about me or my nation. You don't even know what rank I am, so don't make any assumptions..."
"In general you're right Vijay, but certain branches have rules that superceed the normal military code." Jera commented

But a Major is still below Colonel unless your military's rules say that a Major or other low ranking officers are equal to other high ranking officers."
"Considering our military doesn't have colonel in it and the highest position in the Special Forces is a major than I guess yes my military does say I am equivalent or high rank than a colonel. However considering we are not in the Roman Republic or the Dominion of DMG, it doesn't matter what rank you think you are - and even if it matters to you... it doesn't to anyone else, and there is no way in hell you could court martial me or do anything else to me," Blane was getting irritated with Vijay. He pulled out his lighter and began flicking it open and closed so as to calm his trigger finger. 'Sounds like a pansy,' Blane thought to himself as he considered how Vijays blood would splatter on the ground if he blew his brains out.
Jera gave Blane a look saying to cut the attitude or he might get to see how creative she could get with a cheese grater, a fondu fork, and a brillo-pad.

After recieving a melting stare from Jera that could have killed a horse, "No problem at all. Just know that I don't back down from nothing." He put away his lighter, shot a pathetic glance back at Jera.
Jera noted the effect of her glare, Blane might not back down from nothing, but she was definately not nothing. Vijay heard the comment the the man said. He thought it was stupid to say that. Vijay know for every person who is tough there is a cowardly side of him, their is no such thing as the prefect soldier except an autonomus robot like the Terminator. The man looked younger than him, but never gives respect to his elder even they are not soldiers. It was not for Vijay to judge, but if the man was looking for a fight, then he proves to be a coward that thinks fighting always solves everything and it would get him the ladies.
Vijay decided to leave so he could a good night sleep and it will help him concentrate tomorrow. And hopefully it will help the man think of what he said trying to become the alpha dog threatening to shoot Vijay.
Blane melted as Jera walked away swishing her hips - but he was brought back to reality as he watched Vijay walk away. Vijay thought he had him all figured out, but he didn't know anything. "Maybe he doesn't realize it, but those metals I earned, should gain more in the way of respect than any rank or age. Bow down because he is older... hmph."
Blane fired off a couple more rounds, than pulled out his knife, carved something into a nearby tree, and then left to go back to his room. 'I wonder how Tim is doing,' thought Blane.
Blane entered his room and put his guns away in his bag. Then he pulled wrapped a towel around his waist and headed for the shower. He stood in the shower for nearly twenty minutes - he did his best thinking in the shower, as the water blocked out the rest of the world.
He exited the shower and began talking to himself on his way back to his room, "This crap is so boring. When are we going to start... when is the shooting and excitement going to start?" Blane's eyes lit up as he said the word excitement.

The Morvonian was at the other side of the shooting range with his bizon...no one noticed him...he did not mind.He loved doing this alone to clear his mind he kept shoting getting pefect to near-perfect shots.
One reason he made little fuss about coming here was to show what he can do...but since some members were missing he thought the training excersice might be called off....this frustrated him to degrees he never felt before.
He put his silenced Bizon down and fired one of his p228 9mm pistols.
Jera went to check on the drunken man, see how he was, and, if he was still unconsious, about a little fun.
Blane wandered in his towel from the showers back to the rooms. He noticed that a man was leaning motionless against his door at the end of the hall. He walked down to the end and looked the man up and down, "Ah... you must be the the soldier from Krendakov." Looking past the man at the door with his name on it, "You must be Colonel Damoslav then... Uh, hello..." Confused by the lack of reponse, Blane started waving his hand in front the man's eyes and then realized that he was unconcious. "Well if this is how the Krendakovian military is run..."
Tim lugged his rifle case up the steps into the building, and noticed the colonel on the ground, drunk. He knelt down, and noticed Jera coming his way. He squinted at the man, and patted him on the cheek to see if he was awake.
"Is he still unconsious?" Jera asked the other as he slapped the drunk.
Tim looked at Jera. "Yup. I seriously hope they're not like this during wartime." He looked at her again. "You planning on doing something with him?" He asked with humouros tone.
"I had something in mind, yes." Jera replied
Tim raised an eyebrow. This sounded fun, especially since he was bored and the excercises wouldn't start until the rest of the team showed up. "Sounds interesting. What are you going to do? Or am I prodding you too much?"
"Havn't decided yet, but if you wish, I'll make you a part of my scheme?" She offered
A smile twitched at Donovann's lips. "Why not? Maybe we can think up something together..." He replied.
"You seem to misunderstand, you'll be a participant, not a orchastrator." Jera replied, a somewhat wicked glint in her eyes.
Tim grinned. This promised to be fun, especially since that evil glint was in Jera's eyes. His own eyes had taken on a mischevious look.
Jera smiled and entered her room, what for, was anybody's guess.
Tim walked to his room, and tossed his gun case on his bed, then closed the door, and walked back to where Damoslav was, sipping a bottle of water on the way there.
"Hey hey hey guys... Now wait just a moment... I am not letting you do anything to someone who has not provoked it and is undefended. If you want to get to him, you will have to go through me. So... make your decision," said Blane has he brandished his Viper R-90s.
Tim stopped and looked at Blane with a raised eyebrow, then wondered if Blane would actually pull the trigger. "Are you sure? It's been pretty boring... Make that very boring." He returned.
"Sorry... but I have my morals."
"Might as well wait now, since Jera hasn't come out of that room yet..." Tim said. He shrugged and walked past Blane, tossing the empty bottle in a trash can, and walking into their room.

Sorry For being so late... Ughhhhh!
This is supposed to go towards the beginning.
Master Chief was getting increasingly restless. He had been waiting to land for several hours. The flight was a long one, over 18 hours.
"How long before we can land, Pilot?" Master Chief inquired.
"At least another 10 minutes, sir." The young pilot replied.
The Master Chief let out a sigh. Finally, after around 10 minutes, they landed. He was not used to walking after the long flight. He thought the place was beautiful. He gave the signal, and his Blackhawk Helicopter took off. He was relieved to at last be on land. He was greeted by a few officials. They shook hands and said "hello" and such until the they had all met. They took him to the facility. He saw several other people shooting and excersising and such. He proceded to go to the gun range.
"Wow, nice place they have here," He thought to himself.
He pulled out his SC-2000K. He thought it was a great weapon. He had brought along all of his accessories for his rifle. He decided to attach his silencer and his shotgun attachment. He then loaded the weapon. He took aim, and fired several rounds into the target. Since he was in a fairly controlled environment, he got most of his shots in the center. His shotgun went off, and several projectiles hit the tough cardboard. At least three people looked in suprise to see what the noise was, and looked shocked when they saw the strong cardboard split apart just below the head.
Jera exited her room and noticed Blane, "Hello, what are you doing?"
Blane noticed Jera exit her room and ask what he was doing, "Uh... no-nothing... just watching over the Colonel here. Wh-What about you?"
"Just had a plan for the colonel over there." She commented, flashing Blane a smile.
"And what that plan involve..." responded Blane apprehensively
"Not quite sure, nothing serious thought, or at least I don't think I have anything serious planned." She commented
"Sorry, ma'am, but I can not allow you to cause any physical or mental abuse of any kind to the Colonel. I have my morals and I am standing guard over him..."
"Are you volunteering then?" She asked with interest.
Shocked and taken off guard by Jera's response, Blane barely managed to utter a semi-coherent sentence, "Wha... Uh... me... well... I, uh... I ge-euss as long as you be lea-ve the Colonel... I mean leave the Colonel be." What had Blane gotten himself into...

Jera grabbed Blane by the arm and dragged him into the room, as well as the bag.
Blane was taken a little of guard when Jera grabbed his arm and dragged him into the room. "Woh... what do you have in that bag..." Blane was surprised at Jera's strength as she was able to pull him inside, although because he was taken off guard there was only minimal resistance.
Jera began pulling out a vast number of odd devices, odd stuff, and coils of rope. The devices could be instruments of unspeakable torture or beauty aids, or both. "Oh, just this and that.
Blane looked over the items Jera pulled out of the bag and became very nervous. He thought to himself, 'Sh*t... what did I go and get myself into this time... But I must remember the code.'
"Alright now strip, down to your boxers or briefs." Jera commented as she pulled out a can of shaving cream and a razor.
Scared by the request but obligated to comply Blane responded with a simple, "Yes, ma'am," as he removed his standard Dominion issue military boots and socks, his tank top, his military issue pants, his watch and his special earpiece.
Jera then applied some shaving cream and began shaving odd patterns and funny words into his leg hairs. Once done, she pulled out a small tin and went over the patterns with the oily goo inside. The goo caused a tingling sensation wherever it touched.
"Now what should I do next?" She mused
Blane began to feel very vulnerable as he stood there with her shaving his hair. She had some wierd device that when rubbed on him felt very off, but he stood there and tried his best to show that he remained undisturbed.
When Jera asked what she should do next, Blane had no answer. He just stood there unaware of what was to come next.
Looking up she said, "Come-on work with me here, I asked, what should I do next."
Nervously Blane attempted to answer the question as best he could, "Well, I am not quite sure what you could do next so I am not sure, but whatever you would like, ma'am."
She stood up, a petulant look on her face. In a little girl, spoiled brat voice she said, "You're no fun." And began re-packing the bag.
Realizing that Jera might try to do something to the unconscious colonel who he vowed to protect he decided to attempt to stop her, "Look, I don't want you to be angry with me... but... well I just don't know what to do. I am willing to do what you want so that you stay away from the Colonel. But, well I don't know what you want to do with those ropes and whatever else you have in the bag." Maybe, he had been able to convince her not to leave.
She just shrugged and continued packing. The drunken colonel was in as much danger as Blane was, which amounted to not at all.
Gathering up his confidence, Blane said sternly, "Look, I won't allow you to touch the Colonel. Just do whatever it is you wish to me - shave me, tie me up, hit me, whatever... but that Colonel is the team leader and you will stay away from him."
Jera just smiled, a short sweet laught and left the room, heading back to her's.

Jenz ducked his head back round the door, and waved his arm. The base was in site. Dust spat up into his eye and he turned, cursing loudly into the vacuum of noise. The inside of the helicopter was dark and bare, but the noise whisked up every spot into a twirling maelstrom. He couldn't even see into the heart of it.
There was a jolt, and his pack lurched forward, digging into his knee, hard. He scrubbed at it angrily until the blood pricked up under his fingernails, and then caught the pilot's icy eyes, and settled back to feeling less like an eleven-year old. Even so, the same old thoughts: had he packed everything? What would they be like? What if they found out about him? And his father's cold words still dripped in there too: the glory of the nation, the pride of his blood...a far cry from the once spit-washed howls against his bastard worm.
As the buildings hove up into sight, he began to run through his checklist again. He was going to be woefully underprepared, he knew...in fact, he was so underprepared, he didn't even know how underprepared he was. He sighed, and spat heartily. Well, he could only find out.
As the copter mashed down, he gripped the side hard, his fingers slowly snowing over. It was going to be an experience, he had no doubt. He just hoped he wasn't too late.

After Jera had left the room, Blane checked to make sure that Colonel Damoslav was okay. Seeing that he was, Blane opened his door and dragged him to his bed. He then left the room and closed the door behind him, so that the Colonel would not be distrubed, "Wow, he is really out of it," Blane said to himself.
The man from the previous night approached him and asked what he was doing and Blane responded, "Nothing... just doing my duty," and then walked past him.
Blane heard the sound of a helicopter so he decided to see what it was for. He noticed a man with a foreign military uniform on emerge from the helicopter. "Must be another participant... I wonder when this will be getting started - well, I geuss we will have to wait for the Colonel to regain consciousness," thought Blane.
Feeling like going hunting, Blane suited up in his Spartan Legion spec ops uniform, grabbed his long rifle and knife along with his duel Viper R-90s that he was holding and started towards the woods. While he was passing the shooting range, he pulled out his pistol and fired a shot from behind his back and without looking to see where he hit on the target, he continued walking.
He put on some music in the earpieces of the Spartan suit and began stalking his prey...

“Urrgh…” Damoslav groaned. He rolled over.
“THUMP!”
“AH, YA….!” He found himself no longer on his bed, but on the cold, hard floor beside it. He stood up and looked around. It would appear that someone had been kind enough to put him to bed. He struggled to remember something, anything, from the previous night; he failed. He stumbled over to the door and opened it: the light blinded him momentarily. The bathroom seemed a thousand miles down that short corridor.
Jera was walking down the corridor, headed for the bathroom as well, when she spotted Drunk, as she labled the colonel. "So Colonel, how are you this fine morning." She said in a loud and peppy voice.
Back from his sucessful hunt, Blane walked into his room and stored his rifle away. He checked his earpiece for anything knew on the situation in the Dominion, "No news... huh," and then pulled off his Spartan Legion Suit and put it away. He changed into his normal clothes and sat down on the bed wondering what to do next...

Jenz pushed his pack up onto the bunk. He'd thought he'd travelled light, but there was still an ominous creak that rattled in the still, dark air. He looked around. Pretty barren. But then, the necessities of war were hot red and cold grey, not plush purple and sparkling gold. And this would be war, he knew. Sure, they'd all be going along with it, helping and observing. But if these guys were anything like the foreign special ops jerks he'd met before - and they would be, more so probably - it'd all be one long, protracted battle towards subjugation.
He assumed he was alone - he hadn't really checked the door, but the room was empty - and began to rummage around. He sit down with a light puff of exhaustion. He didn't feel that physically tired, kicking off his heavy boots easily, but he felt drained, the tension that had coiled up on his way in now being slowly, agonisingly released, instead of the spring of action he'd hoped for. Maybe it was his delay, or maybe just inefficiency, but his fears that they'd have started seemed to have been allayed. Instead, he felt a slightly sicker, wetter cold in his belly: that they were about to start.
Blane heard somone enter their room, so he got up, left his room, and entered the room where he had heard the noise from. A man was sitting there on his bed so Blane decided to find out who he was, "So... you the guy we been waiting for, or are there more?"

It was mid-afternoon when Master Chief Derek Vriezlaar awoke.
"Man, That was some good sleep," he stated to himself.
He got up out of bed. He was feeling exceptionally well-rested. As he changed into his uniform he noticed a missed call on his satellite telephone.
"How did I sleep through the phone ringing?" he wondered.
When he was finished dressing, he went to the grey plastic phone. When he pressed the 'Messages' button, he heard his father's voice. The voice seemed distant, almost cold. A shiver ran down Derek's spine as he heard his father say that his kid brother, Kyle, had been killed in the line of duty. Derek was not phased. He knew that his brother was in a better place. Kyle was a police officer in the Capitol City of Asgarnieu, Balkan City. He knew that his brother's spirit would be with him. He went to his guns, cleaned and loaded them, and again, went to the range.
Not long after, he returned to the room. He decided that he would try out something else. He had, suprisingly, grown tired of shooting at targets. He decided upon running a few miles. He went to the track, and started. Within the hour, he had returned. He was exhausted. The 3-Mile run was a long one, for sure. Derek had, for the first time, fully noticed the room. It was a small one. The room was blue in color, with heavy blue drapes over the windows. There were a few small shelves for which one can put items on. There was a small bathroom, with a tiny sink, an oversized toilet, and a small tub/shower. There was no windows in the bathroom, but there was a large sky-light. He took a short shower, and went to bed. By now, it was already about 22:00 hours.
As he slept, he dreamed of his brother.

I'm still going to need to check in with the guy from Krendakov. And I haven't got my rifle yet. And, yeah. It's...you know..."
Jenz coughed over his groan. The guy looked distinctly unimpressed. He was probably right, too. But what more could he possibly say.
"Are we...starting a new op soon?"
Bugger. Jenz had promised himself he wouldn't call it an op. He waggled his leg.
"I see... well better late than never." Blane mached the word late as he explained, "You see, we haven't really started yet... we have just been going about our own business while we have been waiting for everyone to arrive..." Blane paused, "And for the Colonel to sober up. If you need to any equipment or to just check in, the Colonel should be arround here somewhere..."
Blane turned to walk out of the room but turned back to Jenz, "Say.. are you okay?"

Blane turned to walk out of the room but turned back to Jenz, "Say.. are you okay?"
Jenz shook his head hurriedly. "Sure, sure, I'm fine. Just...bit whacked after the journey, I guess. And hungry."
He waited until he heard ten paces, and then slumped. His shoulders were shaking, and the sweat ran down his nose. He sat, Blane's heavy steps melting away into light, rain-like patter.
He coughed again, and stood. "Time to find Damoslav," he announced, looking round in agitation to see just who the fuck he was talking to.
As he wrenched his boots back on, he ran over what Blane had said.
Sober up?
Tim Donovann walked over to the room Blane had entered, and noticed the Gruenberger, who was standing up and coughing a bit. After Blane had left, he talked to the man. "You alright?" He asked tentatively, feeling a little reserved at the moment.

Vijay walked back to his tent to place his bag and have breakfast. Vijay sat down on his bed and pulled out his Hindu book and bagan reading it for at least 15 minutes.
Vijay then put the book away and got up. He walked out of his tent. He began rubbing his head while he was walkiing to the mess hall thinking when the Colonel will begin. Vijay might as well go home to his family. But no, since Vijay is going to retire from the Roman Army at sometime, he might as well use the training to prepare himself for new fights.
It took sometime to reach the mess hall, but it was a good walk to calm down and appreiate his surroundings. He enter the kitchen and grabbed his breakfast. Vijay's plate included a bowl of cereal, cup of tea, pancakes, and waffles. It may seem suprising why Vijay has no meat, but Vijay is a vegiatarian and follows his culture and religion. Vijay sat at a table and began eating his food and drinking his tea.

"Hmm?" Jenz stopped at the door. The guy looked normal enough - slightly stiff maybe, perhaps a brush of red to his eyes - but pretty regular otherwise.
"Yeah, sure, I'm fine..."
He fuddled into the usual awkward twists: who he is, sorry he was late, when would they get started, and so on. And, to his great pleasure, he realized the officer wasn't especially interested. He seemed absorbed in something else, the regular nods and hums of agreement only adding to his impression of semi-stasis. Jenz almost felt like asking back if he too was alright, but thought better of it. Maybe another day.
"Do you know where Colonel Damoslav is? I really should report in."
"Check for an office, or maybe his room. I dunno..."
OOC: Going to be off-line until 8:00 at most.
Jera had heard the person ask about the colonel. She poked her head into the room, "The colonel is currently paying homage to the porcelin god." She said with a smirk. "He's a wee bit delicate this morning."

Alexis was paceing back and forth in his room."When will this start!" he said to himself.
He got out of his room and went down the hall.He saw Jera with Jenz.
"Have you guys seen the colonel,i have some questions for him."
Jera turned at the voice, "Like I was just telling those two, the colonel is busy with the porceline god, he's a wee bit delicate today."

"What the hell happen to him?" he asked he was not a man of humor so did not get the joke.
"If you can't figure it out, I feel sorry for you." Jera replied, "He got piss-ass drunk."

"Why did he get drunk?" he was curious,he had been asleep for some time now.
Blane was getting bored of his workouts and self-training, so he decided to take it easy for the rest of the day. He changed into some shorts, took of his shirt, grabbed a towel, and was out the door. He noticed a few people talking a few yards away but just ignored them and headed outside to a nice grassy field.
Blane laid the towel on the grass, put on his shades, and lied down in the sun. He released one of his Vipers and put it on the grass next to him and then hid the other gun in his hand under the side of the towel.
Blane relaxed and basked in the sun as he remarked, "All training missions should be like this..."
"Why did he get drunk?" he was curious,he had been asleep for some time now.
"Who knows." She said, "But he's suffering now." Her voice held a sadistic tint to it.
Tim walked around the building, and saw Blane basking in the sun. He grunted. It was times like these he wished he was more patient. "I knew I should've taken my notebook," he muttered, a scowl forming on his face.
