The State of the Imperium
The Imperium of Ankhmet has recently come up against a lot of international flak because of a policy intended to secure the Imperium against the Imperialistic advances of larger nations, and the opportunistic actions of smaller ones.
True to form, the large countries bluster, brandishing their militaries in displays of complete impotence.

Does so small an empire show a tendency to imperialism? Yes. But if the Imperium had intended to sieze power through violence, all of these nations would have a quarter of the population they do.
We question your nation's actions and the taking over of smaller nations.
Or perhaps the Imperium would not have any population to boast at all. For it seems that many nations have brandished against you. We could not more or less of this doctrine, but we would know that many nations (who we've had economic alliances with), would, thus making it harder for us to keep things the same, while the rest of the world burns under their pride.
We question your nation's actions and the taking over of smaller nations.
All of these nations volunteered themselves, apart from Boris III, who was frankly offensive to any open-minded human being.

If these little countries want to break off, can they do it? (they'll be as big as you some day soon...)

OOC: Unless he gets deleted for inactivity, he'll have around a few months worth ahead always.

[I have a big head start on these people.
The Doctrine doesn't allow for breakaways. If it happens, it'll be Soviet-style. Not under the threat of war, but internal instability.]
OOC:
Otagia is content to be a province, assuming that no taxes are enforced, no outside laws are implemented, and your ships do not enter our space without going through appropriate channels.
Right, if you can call that agreeing to be a province, fine. But at least acknowledge my special priveledges.
[Your special priveledges aren't officially acknowledged. They exist, but the Ankhmeti government won't admit it.]
OOC: Then Otagia wouldn't consent to being a province. We laid down our terms, having them officially accepted was a must.
[Way to screw up my system.]

OOC: Actually, I think you screwed it up yourself when you tried to impose taxes on most of the nations on NS.
[If you people can read, you'll know I haven't tried to impose taxes. And you'll know that these are laws I want to use, not things I will use.]
