OOC: Trying again, following GMC's suggestion. To everyone else, please vote for what you judge to be the most effective weapon. Including an IC post would be helpful. Participants: DO NOT VOTE FOR YOUR OWN WEAPON.

IC:

Open Letter to the World:
Delegates from all interested countries and corporations are invited to attend a symposium and contest on biochemical weapons between the sovereign nations and corporations of Pale Rider Arms Inc., Mini Meihm, Solid Water, and Jenrak. Delegates are invited to act as judges of the quality of the agents shown therein. All delegates shall be given a free PDA, which will contain all relevant information on the weapons. Booths shall be erected, where delegates can have any questions answered. We eagerly await your attendance.

David Quetzal, President and CEO of Pale Rider Arms

At the convention center, attendants stood ready and waiting to hand out PDAs.

Jenrak:

Name: Black Fog, Level 3
Category: Suppressive Chemical, Riot Control
Symptoms:

-Numbness
-Light-headedness
-Loss of vision (Temporarily)
-Hallucination
-Slight Seizures
-Unconsciousness (Lasts for a few hours)

After-Effects:

-Energy Awareness
-Increase in Strength
-Dependency
-Numbness
-Depression

Information:
The Black Fog is a new, advanced version of suppressive chemicals, designed to adhere to civil riots, and harsh labor, as punishment for disobedience of the government in which they are so rightfully bound to. The Black Fog, named after the dark misty lanes of smog that trailed through the early days of Jeviz’Kraa, give an eerie black smoke-like visage, intent on the numbness and disruption of civilians who have an outburst against the government. This affects the skin and lungs, being fairly humid, and volatile, and when drying, it beings to form a sticky moss-like form, slowing whoever is touched by it down. It was meant as an energy saver for the oppressed, knocking them out and placing them in a sense of numbness for hours, unable to move. This restricts all bodily activities save only for the necessities, and when they are awaken their nerves are lessened, but muscles are now placed with the conserved energy.

The poison is aimed at the specific portions of the brain, while another chemical placed separately are used for masquerading as flaring 'hotspots', for many other doctors and people to attempt to rid. The poison is non corrosive, and despite the humidity, there is a certain amount of liquification, meaning that a gassing of an entire group in an underground bunker can be utilized, while the electronics in the bunker still working. The gas leaves behind tiny traces if gone wanton, but usually can be easily cleaned up with cold air.

This is a neurological poison, affecting the brain mostly, not designed to harm people but merely stop them temporarily for later usage where they can be an asset to the rule, instead of a hindrance. The after-effects, which would be the effects they are given after they wake up from the first dose of the poison, include depression, lowered morality and numbness, as well as energy increase. This would prove useful for heavy labor, lessening their vulnerability to pain, destroying their will to revolt, and increasing their energy, allowing more things to be done in the time they most likely will have. Many people would assume this poison is required in heavy doses. In two carefully placed gasses, they complimentarily block each other, and they manipulate the brain with small tweaks, instead of large changes that could be easily tracked down. Using tiny changes every time, the body’s defenses become less and less aware of this poison, thus being more prone to attacks of this particular poison.

This poison is not only effective against people, but it provides monopolist advantages as well. Why kill your people when you can use them later to do your bidding before they die?

Nation: Otagia

Agent: KoloBac
Category: Riot Control
Symptoms: Possible numbness, possible light-headedness, near instantaneous unconsciousness (duration of approximately 2 hours after exposure)
Possible After Effects: rarely nausea, headache, tiredness
Vector: Inhaled, contact

An excellent choice for crowd control, KoloBac is a bacterial crowd suppression agent. Feeding off of other microorganisms, KoloBac digests them, and secretes an aerosolized form of Carfentanil (arguably the world’s most potent analgesic), as well as a specialized chemical that blocks certain receptors for Carfentanil, preventing lethal dosages. KoloBac covers an area with a cloud of these chemicals, which will last as long as the bacteria are still present. Clean-up is relatively easy, simply spray high powered bleach on the effected area, and the heavy ground-clinging bacteria will be killed. Within twenty minutes, the cloud will disperse.

Protective measures can be taken to prevent exposure to Carfentanil. The suggested method is a sealed NBC suit, with gas mask or independent air supply. This is due to the fact that Carfentanil can and will penetrate the epidermis, reaching an effective dosage within seconds.

Agent: Agent Pink
Category: Riot Control
Vector: Contact, Inhilation

Symptoms:
Irriation of skin
-slight rash may occur
-may trigger scratching
Constriction of blood vessels
-drowsiness
-possible heart failure

Possible After Effects:
Prolonged exposure may cause severe burns
Prolonged exposure may cause internal bleeding
Prolonged exposure may cause brain damage
Prolonged exposure may cause death

Description
Agent Pink is named after Agent Orange, the defoliating chemical sprayed over dense jungle areas to thin vegitaion. It is sprayed as an aerosol. It remains airborne for several minutes, after which it settles on surfaces. Agent Pink functions much slower in the presence of liquids, although blood vessel constriction will occur regardless of the presence of liquids.

During the time it is airborne, Agent Pink, when coming into contact with exposed flesh, will begin to deteriorate the top layer of skin. With the skin being eaten away by the chemical, scratching and a slight rash are not uncommon.

If inhaled, Agent Pink constricts blood vessels, thus resulting in less circulation. In individuals with heart disease or heart problems, the inhalation of enough Agent Pink may cause a stroke, and later, death. Generally, the constricted blood vessels mean that there is less circulation and brain activity is therefore slowed. Shortness of breath will occur during strenuous physical activity.

After laboratory experiments, the concentration of the chemical was found to play a major role in the effects. Although Agent Pink will slow down the process of breaking down skin once the skin begins to bleed or secrete liquid, in sufficient quantities, it can continue to destroy flesh until the muscle is fully exposed, and if the victim does not bleed to death, he or she will surley become infected with a variety of common bacteria.

More laboratory experiments found that, although Agent Pink is not created to destroy internal tissue, sufficient quantities of the substance began corroding the inner lining of the respiratory and circulatory systems.

In sufficient quantities or during prolonged exposure, blood vessels have been shown to contract heavily, and permanent brain damage may occur due to a lack of oxygen.

PLEASE NOTE that the use of Agent Pink when following proper protocol will not cause more than the irritation of skin and a decrease in the effectiveness of the respiratory and circulatory systems. The above warnings are valid if and only if an individual has been exposed to low ammounts of Agent Pink for over twenty minutes or has recieved more than a liberal spray of the chemical.

It is simple to use and comes in standard aerosol gernades for effective riot control.

Meanwhile...

A GECSW Product Design representative and a Sales representative have set up their booth and are available to answer inquiries regarding Agent Pink.

Walking into the huge room, the Captain began the tour of the area.

"As you can see, the contest related booths are in the central area. There you can get the answers to any questions you may have before making your judgements. Around the outside of the hall, the competing companies have set up booths displaying their other wares, from other bioweapons to small arms to body armor."

Erendal turned to see if there were any questions yet.

“Go, Major.” said the Lieutenant Colonel. The Major headed over to Jenrak booth and gave a piece of paper to a Jenrak official. It said Count JWolf would buy this bio-weapon, a huge amount.. Now, the Major waited for an answer.

Did I tell you how this one works? I did not. My bad. Basically, the system funnels the sound of a breed of cicadas native to Falcania, which, coupled with several amplifiers, and a resonance chamber, makes people poo, vomit and fall over.
