The provisinal govenrnment of Pokos has 500 mobile cavalry troopers in dropships and ready to depart, if you desire, we can send them plus a small group of medical personell and supplies of various types to be at your disposal to help stop this civil war from escalating.

Mondothian forces are already in transit to aid in the overthrow of the psychotic current Narfnone government. If the rebellion is willing to coordinate with our forces we will supply you with weapons and training. We believe this is the best chance to overthrow the eveil dictatorship currently plaguing Narfnone.

Our forces are preparing for our initial move, we will be moving against the city of Nermento to establish a foothold, any support you can give in this venture will be greatly appreciated. As soon as we gain access to the city be ready to take on supplies and training officers.

To The Current Government of Narfnone:
This is a Mondothian Humanitarian aid task force bound for the port of Nermento, please accept our aid to your populace in the form of medical supplies and personell. Be warned however that this is a peaceful mission, any hostile actions wil not be well regarded by the Mondothian governmnet or its allies. The taskforce does include a small number of combat vessels which have been included solely for cargo and transport capacity, any attack on the task force will likely be met by counter attack from these ships.

OOC: assuming you(Pokos) will be Rping them, when you say dropship you mean like a C-5 right because this is MT rp.

Sitting in their dropships, the 5th and 6th mobile cavalry corps looked down on their screens as they dropped towards the earth, down below, there was an island.....in most of their minds, all they knew they were here to help out the government that was falling...some did not think it was the right thing to do, but when they were told to fight, they would fight...as their motto was....any time...any where

At this the Great leader sent several B-52 bombers and F-18s to Nermento to help his fleet. He intended to crush these invaders as soon as they met his forces.

We shall Aid the narfnone government by sending our fleet under general Flappy.

BTW, the High Seas Fleet consists of around 70 ships, most of which are carriers, battleships, dreadnoughts and SDs. It also carries a division of Marines and their equipment.

The attack on Fajito was about to begin. The armor would come later right now it was night and thousands of Rebel infantry moved toward the city.

On the deck of the Carrier/Battleship type Mithril class ship "MNV Mercurial" the IF/A-14 "thundercat" Tomcat interceptor upgrades were quickly prepped for launch, The powerful J-110 engines let loose with throaty roars that would have deafened anyone on deck had they not all been wearing ear protection. The electrokinetic rails sizzled as power poured into them from a series of ultra capacitors, launching the massive fighter/interceptors into the air with in seconds another group of the Thundercats was in the air, and another until a full squadron was roaring towards the enemy bomber raid. almost immediately the intercepotrs overpowered phased radars were sweeping the sky, quickly locking onto the return signatures of the B-52s and F-18s, staying well out of range of any standard radars the planes could be carrying and watching the radar threat receivers incase they were carrying some 'non standard' equipment. less than a full minute after they were launched the IF/A-14s had launched the first shots of war between Narfnone and Mondoth, a flight of Bathor type long range, Scramjet missiles, the massive missiles roared in at Mach 6 carrying a highly explosive load toward the enemy attack, seconds later another flight was on its way and the interceptors dove in with AMRAAM missiles ready for any survivors.

On the "MNV Messenger" A full blooded Carrier type Quicksilver class ship launched a pair of SX-24 strike fighters flying in full stealth configuration flying low to avoid enemy radars and fighters, they flew at their not inconsiderable full full speed towards the city of Fajito to aid the rebellion forces.

“What the? Missiles coming in!” was the first thing said by any of the pilots sense they had left the airstrip. But they had seen the missiles to late, and 5 F-18s went down soon followed by 3 B-52s.

“Where are they”?
“I don’t know, spread out, but don’t fight single ship”
“Copy that”
“There! I have one on eco eco dash 3”
“Move in and engage, all fighters engage”
With that 31 F-18s opened up with AIM-7 Sparrow missiles



At Fajito the Infantry opened fire. But the battle went bad almost as soon as it started. AV-8s and AH-1s coming out of the city began to pin the troops down wile 100,000 of the Narfnone loyalist army began attacking the Rebel army of only half that…

as soon as the sparrow launches were detected, the -14's pread out, wings thrown wide for added maneuverability and the decoy bays unloaded chaff and flares to lure the missiles away from the interceptors. but for two airmen, it was too little to late. IF/A-14 0321B disentegrated under the missile barrage, the airmen not even having time to eject. the remaining eleven fighters dove in launching Goshawk AMRAAM missiles. just before another five fighters exploded from enemy missiles, parachutes appearing as if by magic from ejection seats flung free of the fireballs that were once multi million dollar aircraft. After that the remaining Thundercats quickly reversed direction and engaged afterburners, dashing for the protection of a pair of SF-41 air superiority fighter squadrons guided by E/A AWACS armed with Bathor missiles and a very powerful air search/acquisition radar.


The Fajito air raid was right on schedule, pulling into Fajito airspace the fighters opened their weapons bays and began launching Goshawk AMRAAM missiles at the Cobras and Harriers while more fighters began dropping bombs on the Narfnone troops fighting the rebels. The SX-24's dropped their weapons as fast as possible letting the missiles terminal MMW radars track in on the air craft and the ombs own GOS packages guide in on the ground targets while the stealth fighters made a hasty, and stealthy escape.

F-18s dived twisted and turned as the next missiles came in seven more fighters went down in flames and the remaining F-18s fired Sparrows at what they could find on radar. But it was doing little good. The B-52s on the other hand where gaining altitude and getting closer to Mondoth’s fleet.

The 100 Rebels promised by the Rebels forces moved up to the tanks in Nermento began sabotaging tanks.

Narfnone loyalists at Fajito where facing problems. Mondoth’s aircraft had ended their air superiority on the battlefield and destroyed several key positions. The bombings had cost them several deserters and many of the “front line” solders where reported to be deserting. This had cost them greatly and they where now retreating back into the city, the one place they could be save from air attacks.

As the Bombers neared the fleet they were immediately framed by the fleets defensive BARRIER radar arrays, fully lit up they would soon be in range of the fleets array of Swallow SAM missiles. meanwhile the enemy aircraft would have to contend with agile 'Ruddy Hawk' Air superiority fighters, powerful dogfighting aircraft designed and built witht he sole purpose of destroying enemy aircraft.

The fleet itself was steaming towards shore, amphibious ships began dumping landing craft loaded with troops and AFVs which sped off while Amphibious Tracked Vehicles were deployed, these infantry assault vehicles employed a retracting planing hull, shielded tracks and powerful MHD thrusters to propel themselves through the water at up to 45 knots, while lightly armed and only moderately armored, these amphibious vehicles would provide the opening blows for the Mondothian assault, landing 12 troops each complete with any one of several weapon systems, from a 25mm cannon, to 120mm mortars, rocket pods or even an 85mm short barrel anti armor gun, all were equiped with the usual 15.7mm coaxial guns and 7mm hatch machine guns as well as a dual ATGM launcher each. The next wave before the landing craft and their 'heavy' IFVs would be the Assault tanks, smaller than MBTs but just as heavily armer and armored, these compact killers used advanced electronics, a revolutionary autoloader and powerful armor packagesto safeguard ther two crew members and provide a powerful punch to any landing operation. equipped with either a 75 high velocity gun or a pair of fire and forget ATM missile launchers as well as 15.7mm coaxial guns, 7mm 'hatch' guns and turret mounted 85mm mortar launchers, these mini tanks are a force to be reckoned with.

IC: the bombers entered SAM range, turning back now would be useless, so they continued on. SAMs where fired from the ships, soon after only a handfull of Bomber where left, they unloaded there bombs over the Mondoth fleet. the F-18s seeing the B-52s destroyed turned back to there inland bases.

As the landing craft aproched Narfnonian loyalists moved to the docks and shore to face the incoming craft. M110 203mm Artilery opend fire from inside the city, aiming for the aproching landing craft. BMP-2 APCs Raced to defencive positions, 50 Leopard 2 tanks sat still as the commander of Nermento's forces did not want to use them entil it was nessisary to enssure victory.

the 100 Rebels had done there job, and now sat in shadows or hid in buildings waiting for the battle to begin.

Narfnonian Loyalists had pulled back into Fajito, but where not prasude by the Rebels, they knew that the military would use the citys Civilions to save themselfs. The Great Leader had made sure of that with his mostly brainwashed solders and the baning of medical supplys.

Rebel Command to Mondoth forces

The Narfnonian war fleet is still at sea somwhere, they may try to attack you wile you are unloading supplys in Nermento, that is if you capture Nermento.

As the remaining bombers closed in it was clear that something had gone wrong, but there was no time to dwell on that, it was time to salvage the situation as best as possible. as the bombs fell, it was up to the Black Widow CIWS systems to deal with the threat. Hoever bombs are much hardier than the missiles and aircraft that were the CIWS normal targets and still bombs got through, ripping a pair of Barrier configured Mercury class destroyers and damaging a carrier configured Quicksilver beyond the point of being able to continue flight operations.

Nearer to shore the first barrage of artillery missed the variety of moving boats and amphibious vehicles. in some cases by mear inches, crippling several landing craft which nevertheless continued to creep towards shore. as soon as the artillery fire was detected by the landing crafts Millimeter wave Artillery tracking radar, things became a flurry of electronic activity, the radars tracked the incoming rounds and began immediately crunching numbers until an arc was traced back to the starting point, meanwhile in the fleet, messages were being received and a fire mission was beign set up. 12 and 16 inch naval guns unlocked and began rotating and elevating until the final targets were firmed up. as soon as that happenedthey fired, shifting position rapidly each of the six designated turrets (two 16in. four 12in.) delivered six rounds that would arrive nearly instantaneously, giving no chance for defensive maneuvers. in seconds the massive rounds were over their targets and they immediately nurst open, spewing dozens of little parachuting tubes. each tube consisting of an IRST system and a wireless netwrok bus all conected to a self forging explosive projectile. the network allowed every submunition to communicate throught he ships computers, ensuring that no target was overlooked, the IRSTs tracked in on heat signatures. anything hot was fair game and there was enough explosive to go around. Targets ranged from people to sun heated concrete, to hot engines (either on or recently turned off) and recently fired artillery gun barrells. as soon as every submunition had a target, and every target had a submunition, barely a second after they had been deplyed from their casings, the little parachuting tubes exploded, spitting molten metal lancing towards the ground and the 'hot' targets that were there.

As the ships opened fire on the loyalist forces many APCs and Artillery pieces where hit. With this the loyalist commander gave his new orders. The solders where to hid inside the city, inside buildings in alleys anywhere. They would then attack when passed by enemy troops.

As the enemy artillery died down, the landing forces continued with the remaining ships staying off shore incase of a trap. Soon the first Amphibious Tracked Vehicles landed, immediately disgorging squads of infantry and began to set up a perimeter, the infantry carefully advanced towards the buidlings closest to the dock area, watching for enemy troops and tanks, weapons at the ready. these were not the untested ships of the fleet but combat hardened marines that had participated in countless assault landings and were ready for anything. The troops would establish a perimeter around the docks, using the nearest buildings as observation points and sniper positions to command all approaches. In a little over fifteen minutes, the first 'Tempest' Assault Armored vehicles would arrive, armed with heavy weapons and incredibly strong armor these squat tanks would provide added security for landing operations, and then would move forward to form the iron fist of the Mondothian Military in the region.

As Mondoth troops approached the buildings loyalists jumped out and fired anything from an MP-5, AK-47, or M249, snipers hidden on and in buildings began firing there weapons

Meanwhile a large armada of ships deports from a port many hundreds of miles away (ooc: this fleet will arrive anywhere between now and next sunday). And as the battle rages in Fajito a small group of fast planes zip over the city, attempts to hail them from all sides have no effect and as they pass over what is believed to be a scanning infra red light passes over the city coming from the odd devices on their undersides... this assumption is half right as after the planes depart appozimatly half of the Electronics in the city malfunctions. (this is a non discrimitory technology)

At the appearance of armed enemies, the Marines quickly took cover, a few getting immediately cut down by the surprise ambush, the rest were able to get behind some sort of cover of the sort that abounded in and around cities; cars, low wals and fences, trash cans and the like. The snipers had waited near the rear of the group, they were to have waited until the buidlings were cleared to set up, now the quickly lay prone under whatever camoflauge they could find, wearing Urban Ghilie suits studded with dirty ripped cloth and old cans and food wrappers the Snipers appeared as nothing but piles of trash, though various disguises conclealed lethal 7mm sniper rifle barrels and a small array of vision enhancments including light intensification, magnification and themral viewing. the snipers immediately began training in on the Loyalist snipers taking the shots as soon as they presented themselves. The Regular infantry was taking a slightly different approach, using gun sight cameras to 'peak' over their cover without exposing themselves the soldiers acquired targets, standing up to fire a quick and accurate three round burst from their G-11A2 7mm caseless Assault rifles before ducking again and finding another target. meanwhile, Heavy Support was inbound in the form of Amphibious Tracked Vehicles which had traded their prodigious water speed for a postively crawling land speed, they armored vehicles came as fast as they could, their machine guns ready to take down enemy infantry.

In the name of combating global tyranny the Peoples Republic of Korridan will airdrop weapons and ammunition to the rebellion. About 62 strategic bombers will be makeing the run, more supplies can be sent if the situation requires them.

Mondoth will provide escort for the bombers in the form of SF-41 Air Superiority fighters launched from our carriers in the region as well as provide any support necesary for the aid effort.
