St. Augustine, Iesus Christi

John Moses Johnson shrugged uneasily in his suit – he did not understand how the locals could tolerate wearing those kind of clothes for any longer for ten minutes – but then again, he did not understand what kind of mother would give her son a name like John Moses Johnson. Those Iesusians were a weird folk, all right.

But oh well – after all, if they were civilized folk, John Moses Johnson (aka, Agent 456) would not be needed, would he? So far, he has arrived into Iesus – with more success than was expected of him – carrying only a tourist bag of personal belongings, fake documents and a fake barcode that would pass casual inspection.

Mind you, he wasn’t the first to have tried that. He was very lucky. Agent 432, codenamed Joshua Wallace, was shot to ribbons from a watchtower as he stepped on the Iesusian shores. Agent 300, known as Liberty Still, actually made it a mile in country before stepping on a landmine – and taking several hours to bleed to death. In total, nine agents were lost before Agent 456 could be smuggled in-country.

This was well – but J.M.J. still needed to find a job. Some day laborer thing would probably fit the bill…
