It was true what they had heard before departing, the capitol of the Zetan territory, Bevelle, never sleeped. It was midnight, yet people still swarmed the streets, going about their busy lives under the light from both the moon and the various lights of the city.
The trip to Bevelle had been a boring one, as each of the agents of Blackbox had been sent at different times on different public transports, but they had successfully infiltrated Bevelle, that was the main thing.
There was seven of them. All of them the most elite agents in the Taledonian Empire, and the agency liked to boast itself the best in the whole of the Republic. They had come as tourists and traders several days before war was officially declared; and had orders to scout the area incase war came, and it had.
They never contacted each other, but reported back to Taledon every once in awhile. They had found lodgings in seperate parts of the city, but all of them had been in strategically placed locations for easy access to the Royal Palace, just incase they had a change in orders. They were also placed in strategic positions to ensure easy access to the various Zetan shipyards in the city.
A slight rain started to come down, then continued to grow until it was a heavy rain. Agent 7, or as he called himself on this mission, Alex McFerson, stood under the cover of a buildings parapet. He tried to stay out of the rain but had the unfortunate luck of being caught out in it when it hit, and was now soaked. Looking around, he noticed some Zetan police pass by, but took no worry and looked away as he knew his presence and that of the others wasn't known to the Zetan government. Stepping back out into the downpoor, McFerson made his way to the nearest public transport, and headed back to his lodgings.
Later that night, near two in the morning, Alex reported in to Taledon for the first time in three days. He gave his report quickly, and then listened to his change in orders. The Emperor himself had instructed the Blackbox agents to assasinate the Zetan leader, giving them a heavy drop in morale during the war, and leaving them leaderless to run around like rabbits. But it would take some time to get to know the area around the Palace better, and annalize the best plan, so he would continue his cover life as a tourist.

The City that never sleeps as Bevelle was called was seemingly unaware of the war that was going on. They went on with their partys and lives. The police presence was low for a time of war. The enemy could never make it to Bevelle they said. The Royal Palace had sent many of the Jem'Hadar and Reman Guards away to fight the war. This made the Child Emperor a easier target then should be expected in war time.
Section 9 was also relaxed as they had just ended a month long mission to round up anti communist who refused to pay taxes. However the palace was still one of the most protected places in Neo Zeta.
And with Maester Seymour the greatist Summoner and all other summoners gone off to fight this took away the trump card the emperor had.
They were unaware of the plans on the Emperors life. Even if they had heard word of it they wouldnt bealive that they could get to Bevelle.
OOC: sorry if my post isnt as well worded as yours Taledonia ^^. Btw very nice post.

It had been a rather eventful week for the seven agents. Everyday since they had recieved their new orders, they had been going around to both the Royal Palace and the shipyards of the city; scouting the areas for anything they could find that would make their jobs easier. It wasn't that hard either, as "tourists", it was natural to see many people taking pictures of the great Palace and the various shipyards to show their interested children at home.
But the most important thing that was taken into account was how often security went around the places, and at what point of the day, or night, would be most benificial to implement the plan.
Each of the agents, on seperate days, went to the stores, markets and other places where items could be purchased. There they each picked up a special container of "pickled onions" that had just been delivered that day. Through a well planed operation involving a Republic member that has dealings with the FTU, each shipment contained high powered energy explosives, cleverly designed to be passed off as the onions. They were first shipped to thirty other nations before arriving in Bevelle, and placed in the designated store. They would play a crucial part in the coming events that would shake the Zetans to the very core.

It was nine at night, the "deadest" time in the city. When everybody was at home preparing to go out in a few hours. It was time to strike.
Agent 7 sat on the wicker chair in his room, looking over his equipment on the desk infront of him for the third time that day. He got up and put on his camo suit, then placed his plasma pistol into his holster. Picking up the other spyware, he placed it into his pack along with his supply of energy bombs.
Going to the roof of the building without being noticed by anyone, Alex slipped out the top window and activated his cloak that would make him completely invisible to both man and machine. He then took a run and jumped off the roof. His suits anti-grav system allowing him to slow fall and land safely on the ground. De-activating it, he started making his way towards the shipyards on his side of town.
A few hours later, all the agents met up in an alley near the Palace. They remained cloaked but with their suits censors that were designed to pick up their comrades, could still find each other. They reported that they had completed their first missions, and then split up, making their way to different sides of the Palace.
As the time clicked to three in the morning, the buttons were pressed. The energy bombs went off in the shipyards, and the shear power of them and the positions they were sitting in would ensure that they destroyed the shipyards, but that wasn't the goal of the operation; it was to create a distraction.
As everyone in the city looked around at the massive blasts, the Agents quickly made their way to the top of the palace, and entered through windows. They were cloaked, and would not be noticed unless they did something stupid; however the whole city, nay, the whole of Neo Zeta would be alert now. But the main thing was, they were in.

The explosions rocked the city. As alarms went off the police and section 9 took to the streets at once. As the fire department begian the work of bringing fires under controle Section 9 was already on the hunt for who did this. Police secured the area as The Military begian to moniter every in comeing and out going ship to Bevelle.
The people were all in shock that this had happened in Bevelle. And many came out to see the fires.
The Palace was on high alert as Jem'Hadar and Reman guard 30 in total stayed in the throne room were the Emperor had moved too.
A divison of Section 9 troops would arive in 20 mintues to help in secureing the Palace as well.

They had to move quickly, or risk detection and failure, something that was worse than death. They moved with quick speed, and as silent as a calm wind. A few of them had to dodge some rushing guards, but managed to stay undetected. When they arrived outside the throne room, they activated their particle disrupters, and passed through the walls.
They looked around at the many guards, and at the Emperor sitting on the throne. It would take extreme skill to take him out, but that was what the agents of Blackbox had, and they would get the job done.
They knew there was little chance that all of them would get out, or any of them at all, so they decided to do it the quick way. Moving to behind stationary guards, and the Emperor, the agents drew their small energy blades. They looked around at the still oblivious room.
The Emperors head rolled off of his body and onto the floor as the energy blade made a quick, clean cut. Simultaniously the other agents plunged their blades through the necks of those they were standing behind. Activating their anti-gravs again, they floated to the roof, and looked down at the startled guards, wondering if their position was given away or not.
And then it happend. Agent 13's anti-grav cut out suddenly, and he fell to the ground, his cloaking deactivating. He was now out in the open surrounded by enemy, so he did the only thing he could. Thrusting his energy blade into the eye of the closest man, he drew his plasma pistol and fired rapidly at the others; trying to take out as many as possible instead of actually trying to survive.

The a few Reman guards were killed by the shots. But the others opened fire with military disrupter rifles at the agent. The Jem'Hadar being clever seeing the agent had fallen and the sound it made pointed to he was off the ground they figured more maybe up there. They opened fire at the roof and upper areas of the throne room. Fireing at random hopeing to hit anything.
The Palace went on lock down as Military and Section 9 troops and tanks patroled the city and begian make raids on suspected safe houses.
They didnt know if it was the Republic but they were almost 100% sure. Weyoun 2 shut off all media networks and transmissions untell he could figure out what to do.
However the Crusaders were told of what happened. This would light a fire under them. They would get their revenge. at 8 am it was announced the Emperor was dead.
Weyoun had planned for somthing like this and sent orders to the Crusaders to make what happened to Deatharon Prime years befor look like a small thing.
Deatharon would be punished for this act first.
Weyoun made a speech saying this action was agianst that of the universe and made a call that The Deatharon Royal Family will soon know how it feels.
He then announced the new Empress..... Mukuro.... This was the worst case for Deatharon in The Republic. She would bring total war to them. Plans were already underway to reclone the Emperor but Mukuro shut them down.
The Morale of Neo Zeta fell but the Military Zeal shot threw the roof. They would avenge the Emperor.... Even if it ment destroying Everyone in Deatharon.

"For the Empire!" yelled the other Agents as they shot down from the sky, energy blades swinging and plasma pistols firing. They took out a good number of them, leaving only 7 still standing, but they had all died.
The die is cast...
