Eternus Lumen

King Adrian looked to his chief advisors, Madeline Timvervan (Diplomatic Chief) and High Commander Valkan (Military Commander) and they said nothing. Adrian's popularity was at an all time low with being involved in two wars and his leaning towards democracy in a country afraid of any corruption. The people called for resignation and demanded someone more pacifist take over and bring Eternus Lumen back into isolation from the world and its corruption.
After a long silence Madeline being the boldest spoke first, "M'lord if you order the beginning of democracy things will not go well with the people." Her words were short and simple but to the point. Adrian nodded in agreement but spoke differently, "Why can't these people see what is good for them... they are too afraid of change, they cling to the all days when wars hardly if ever occurred."
Madeline stood up, her finger waving angrily, "You will listen M'lord you're father's last words of advice were to continue to stay in isolation and you should've listened! Now look at your country... they hate you and I'm beginning to hate you as well. You speak of them as if they know nothing! They aren't afraid of change you, yes you are afraid of the old times!" And with that she stormed out of the room.
Adrian looked at her confused, "Why, what changed her?" Valkan only shook his head, "She's afraid, she's afraid she has already been corrupted by the world. I would watch her m'lord we may have trusted her with our lives in the past but now... now I think differently." Adrian ran his hands though his long hair when an aide rushed in, "Sir! Rector has gone to hell, riots and looting is everywhere they are screaming for your end!"
Adrian looked at Valkan, "Oh no...” Valkan was already gone in his office ordering the mobilization and deployment of the military, "How could this happen, who is responsible John?" He asked the aide, "We don't know but armed militia man are running around in black outfits with long black trench coats and full face ski masks."
Adrian's mind clicked with realization, The Outfit of ELRA. The Eternus Lumen Revolutionary Army.
Rector
In Rector, guns shots rang into the sky and fires ran rampant, dominating the streets. An orange sunset was in the sky as it seemed fitting for the fiery city. The police were trying to restore order, even being forced to shoot their own people which caused them great strife. The military had been called in by Valkan and within moments forces from Guardian Base were on their way. They would arrive in full force within the hour.
Guardian Base
Michael J. Carter watched his helicopter lift from the ground and storm off for his home city, Rector. According to the briefing the entire city had gone to hell and everyone had gone crazy demanding the resignation of Adrian. Armed Militia men wearing the uniform of the Ancient and thought to be defeated Revolutionary Army were apparently leading the mini-revolution. It was up to Carter and his squad along with several dozen others -over four hundred men to be exact- to restore order and bring the city back to its former glory. Michael’s best friend, Thomas Johnstone sat next to him, “Ready to kill some RAs?” He said with a tone of joking but you could tell he was scared but Michael couldn’t lie he was scared shit too.
The squad commander, Sergeant Nickolson began to speak, “Alright ladies, in fifteen minutes we’ll be over Rector, I want quick and swift kills remember everyone there has gone nuts! Also I know many of you are from this town, so you have to realize your families are there to, it is up you to protect them got it boys?” A chorus of “Yes sir!” answered him.
Every minute seemed like an hour and every minute Mike spent preparing himself for what he would see but he never expected to see what his beloved city had become. As they flew over, the machine gun rattling as people actually shot as the Helicopter, “They’re shooting at us! They’re actually shooting at us!” Jake Cleversan said in surprise. They landed at an RZ different from other squads since we have volunteered to be the first ones into the heavy hitting areas. Military vehicles would be on their way, but they wouldn’t arrive for a couple of hours so it was up to the troops to secure the area.
“Move, move, move!” The Sergeant screamed, and they all slid down the rope as the machine gun continued to fire and they jumped straight into hell…

King Adrian appeared on national television that night and in some parts of the world, their regular news channel. His tone was serious and somber showing how bad he felt about everything, “I come to you not tonight as a leader but a mourner. Today in Rector a massive riot so massive it has been classified as an attempt at revolution. They call for my resignation and I know many for wish but I say this, No!” He said with a triumphant cry. He then continued, “I will not bow down to the wants of a population who will go beyond it’s beliefs and to the point of hypocrisy to remove a leader who you say wants nothing but war when all you are giving me is war. No, until this revolution is put to an end I will stay your leader but when it is over I will carefully consider it if only for the better of the people. That is all I have to say, the international community all I have to say is simple words, your help is welcomed but not nessecary. Thank you.” And Adrian walked off the stage without even looking at the crowd, he had tears in his eyes.
