Here's a proposal I had in my mind for a little while.

The basic premise is this, somewhere, inside my region of space, scientists are working diligently on experiments involving different dimensions.

Without warning, there is a major screw-up, and the region of space in which they work is converted into that two-dimensional Love/Hate culture icon known as Anime. From there, all havoc ensues, as the scientists try their hardest to get everything back to normal.

It's a strange idea, but it's meant to be a humor RP for those who proudly call themselves Otaku. Casual Anime fans are of course allowed, but at least a general knowledge of Anime is preferred, along with an odd sense of humor that often only Anime can provide. I intend to cover various generic plots in Anime in a sort of parodied fashion, each plot presented as a kind of sub-plot that we'll go through one at a time.

There will have to be some major development before any sort of RP is to begin in order to avoid the RP crashing down, and spiralling into oblivion from people simply not being serious enough. So being serious at times and not just going crazy from the freedom that being in an RP that involves FT, Anime, and Humor provides is a must. Self Control! Therefore, only interested and reputed RPers will be allowed.

Well, if you're interested, sound off here with some opinions if you will.

So...I am a major anime fan, or manga as I like to keep it at. I wonder what types of plots we could draw out, since certain animes are based upon a single theme or a series of themes. Some can even get psycalogical (Evangelion for instance) so.....I can join right? :D

[OOC: Though I have no idea where the Omar Guilds might serve a purpose in this... Odd occurence, I nevertheless would very much like to participate. I am not a huge anime fan, but because of hte the clique I hang out with, I have a pretty extensive knowledge base on the subject.]

I've hung out at Otakon Baltimore a time or two, and I know most of the more prominent American Animes(not just Pokemon and DB either, I know rthe various Gundam Series from original through Wing, or G Gundam, not sure which comes first, anyway, I know NGE, BG, some VT and Macross, and that's the majority of my knowledge)

I might be interested in joining. I don't know too much about anime, just a select few shows (Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, and Paranoia Agent. Inuyasha too, if I feel particularily masochistic). I watch Gundam shows occasionally, but not very often. Of course, as I just got cable, the amount of shows I see SHOULD go up considerably.

I'm in! Perhaps I could be the resident expert on all things that require 'catching 'em all'! Damn my crazy Pokemon-filled otaku brain!

As an aside, I have a much older puppet that has Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist elements. I could be much help in that corner.

Eh, depending on how you actually disrupt the entire multiverse, I might just displace a small group of Trainers from their normal routes. They might assist or they might just go along with the ride. I, too don't really want to pull in Legendaries unless I really need to for the plot...

Hmm, ok. Although, I've noticed many RPs fall through through lack of communication. Whoever chooses to remain in the RP will have to deal with much "OOC" talk throughout the course of the RP. I'm planning on having a separate "OOC" thread, although I feel that messages are often best presented on the spot and on time in order for them to be considered.

Having a separate "OOC" thread, but not checking up on it often, (Bookmarking is helpful.) will lead to some important plot twists and message falling though without regard by others.

Naruto, I have a pretty extensive knowledge of. Same with Full Metal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho and Inuyasha. Some Gundam. Some Cowboy Bebop and I know alot about Tenchi Muyo. AH! Forgot about Rurouni Kenshin!

I'll say I'm interested at the moment. just so you know, I'm not an otaku, but I do casually watch some anime. I have seen some Rouroni Kenshin, All of Naruto up to date, All of Cowboy Bebop, all of Trigun, most of Monster, Berserk, most of Samurai 7, some Samurai Champloo, and a few others here and there.

I dont pretend to have knowledge of some Anime (Cowboy Bebop is one that I have no clue about), although I am fluent in Gundam Wing, Big O, Inzader Zim (sort of an Anime... sort of), Neon Genesis Evangelion (and the attached movies), etc... Pretty much anything with giant robots or a green alien invader.

cause if you think it's going to be fairly long I would like to stay. Also if your only doing it on weekends I would like to stay, because I could catch up, and if you really needed me for anything I would probably have no problem with letting you control my character slightly.

I'm probably only going to have definite involvement on the weekends, though I can't really say the same for the others. They'll have to speak for themselves.

Sure go right ahead. Just so things flow, have him as an isolated guard who's just regained consciousness and with no idea where he is. I'll have the Talons link up with him after the Mini forces land and we're all set up. Some kind of Bio scan that starts up through proximity sensors is what I'm thinking of using to find your character.

Hey, those people that are just preluding to sending units over, it'd be helpful if you RPed your forces finally arriving at the planet.

Call it personal preference. I usually do MT but I do venture into the FT world every now and then, so I know these weapons more than I know FT weapons.

SO I am a big Ken Akamatsu fan, meaning I love the 'Love Hina' series and his newest Negima series. I think that would be the biggest challenge of all, to have us as guys as (like Keitaro in Love Hina, and Negi Springfield in Negima) the actidental intruders of some place that happens to be largely populated with girls. :D All we need is either someone who is good with different sexual personalities or else some real NS girls to rp it with us, to get a true feeling for it. lol. What you think of that?

Um, where ever you want really. I don't really want to restrict you, and if you've got something over the top, I'll just let you know, and try to work with what you put.

As for the other two bits to attend to:

Thrashia, lol, sounds kinda strange. Perfect. Although, now, we're working with the whole horror and monster theme in a rather serious manner. I guess we can use that idea next.

And NoF: Fair enough. I've got no problems with it. The RP wasn't exactly meant to have full continuity anyway, lol.

Kyanges how long do you think the horror part will last? Seems to be a bit dormant at the moment. So I was thinking on what I said earlier. How 'bout it? :D You can't resist the lure to do something like it. Mwuahaha! But seriously, I am wondering when we could perhaps start.
