4 runways (each long enough for an A6E Intruder (those are the only planes we have right now having just acquired 500 of them).
We would like two aircontrol towers. One tower per two runways.
Enough hangers to hold 200 aircraft.
5 barracks buildings.
A guest hotel.
A main HQ building.
A dining facility.
A couple of stores.
A storage depot for plane parts.
A storage depot for auto parts.
A storage depot for ammo and bombs.
A missile depot.
5 target practice ranges for the pilots to practice dropping bombs on.
20 buildings for storing fuel and oil.
We will also need roads and communications infrastructure.
and 1 hospital.

We would also like to have one built at Daru to the same specs.

Also we would like an emergency backup control tower that should be placed underground at each airport.

We will be willing to pay the same price for both air bases.

Following is a map showing the locations of the cities where we want the air bases built.

However long an aircraft carrier deck is.

However long an aircraft carrier deck is.

Considering that aircraft carrier's use catapults to launch aircrafts, I don't think that will be right.

tokera: just use a standard sized runway. Nothing fancy. check out an airport info site. maybe they'll give you some numbers. If it can support a wide-body aircraft, it can support a A-6 Intruder.

Why is one runway smaller than the rest?

CSJMI has noted that the nation of The South Pacific- is lacking in air-to-air capability. Since the cost of these airfields should be well under the amount allotted, we would like to extend an offer for expanding the capabilities of the air force. Thus, we invite you to take a look at our selection (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=278767) which includes a number of low-cost, reliable, yet effective designs.

As a gesture of good faith, we will provide the information regarding the runway requirements for the A-6:
Minimum takeoff run is slated as being 3888 ft (1185m), with landing run being 1709 ft (521m). However, for the sake of greater efficiency, and maintaining additional runway for aborted takeoffs, we recommend a runway of 8000 ft (2438m). This will also be capable of handling the vast majority of fighter and attack aircraft available, ensuring greater growth potential.
However, for further growth potential, a 12,000-14,000 ft (3658-4267m) runway would be needed if you want it to be capable of handling "runway hogs" like a fully loaded 707 derivative (E-3, E-8, KC-135) or C-5.

Edit:
If bidding is still accepted, CSJMI is willing to provide for construction of one or both bases at $500-750 million each, depending on exact specifications.

I dont think so because I already agreed to build the two bases for free, but its up to him.

How interesting as we have learned that we will be needing air bases in Mount Hagen, Kundiawa, and Goroka. All of them are located in Papua New Guinea.

We are pleased with the work your company is providing with the two airfields we have asked for.
Because of this and due to our strategic needs we would like to offer you a contract to build a third airbase near Devonport on the island of Tasmania.

For the third base we would require either a donation or money for us to pay for the equipment being used. Also we would like to use your workers, for this project. The Other two bases were complimentary but we cannot keep building and putting out money without anything coming in. We hope you understand.
