The evening was cool and beautiful as ever. The stars in the evening sky were glimmering down, and it was quiet. That was, untill the first of the F-22N Sea Raptors took off from the flight deck of the ICS Tellus, a aircraft carrier in the Universe class. The battlegroup had just been informed that the Zeees were plunging into a state of anarchy, and that there were reports of looting and violence in the former Cottish protectorate of French Polynesia.

The Tellus recieved her orders that same moment, which clearly stated that she and her battlegroup was to head for French Polynesia immediately and assist the 6th, 8th, 9th and 17th Assault Flotillas in restoring law and order there. Also joining the fleet was the 2nd Battleship Flotilla, which was still in the Pacific after the Yelmian conflict. If the shit hit the fan and the Zeees resisted, and the worst-case scenario, the Kreynorians intervened, the more than hundred ships and more than fifty thousand Marines would resist with all the military might they could muster.

Secret plans between the Layartebian and Cottish government were in hand. At naval bases in western Hawaii, Layartebian controlled territory, all forces went on immediate alert. The real scare, to the Layartebian military, was that Kreynoria would anticipate a Layartebian attack to support its ally and pre-emptively attack its naval bases in western Hawaii. All bases and military assets were placed on full alert and any submarines that could be surged were, putting a total of six Seawolf Flight III Class and four Scythe Class attack submarines as well as four Centurion Flight II ballistic missile submarines at sea. A pair of carrier battlegroups were also put to sea as well, taking a northerly course to avoid Kreynorian waters. Aircraft were put on constant patrols and strike aircraft were protected even more.

In Zeeeland's territories of French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Namibia, Botswana, Equatorial Guinea, and Rwanda, where the Divine Empire of Kreynoria had established military bases, Kreynorian troops had deployed from the bases to establish order and security once again. Because of the friendliness between Zeeeland and Kreynoria, most Zeees were willing to submit to the Kreynorians. The Kreynorians had been pumping the Zeees with propoganda about "delivering them from the wrath of Cotland and New Jyria." However, when several Cottish assault fleets were detected en route to French Polynesia, the Kreynorians were angry. The Zeees had been their friends and allies, and thus their land should rightfully be inherited by Kreynoria. Emperor Constantinius I sent an encrypted message to the Cottish Emperor Thomas I.

Heavily Encrypted Message to Cottish Government:
We know of your intentions to annex French Polynesia, and we have also laid claim to Zeeeland's former lands. We wish to challenge you for their control. A limited war will be fought, involving only French Polynesia and our armed forces within its territorial sea and airspace. Neither of our empires will call upon nor accept military aid from allies, nor attack any targets outside of French Polynesia and its territorial air and waters. Kreynorian nationals in Cotland and Cottish nationals in Kreynoria will not be detained nor interrogated, but are not to be used as spies or informants. Kreynorian and Cottish assets in each others' nations won't be frozen, and weapons of mass destruction are not to be used. You have 120 hours (NS time) to close your embassy and respond to this challenge.

The Emperor looked at the message recieved from the Kreynorians and laughed. They really thought that they were in a position to issue demands? Well, then they surely were mistaken. Contact had already been made between the Empire and members of the October Alliance, and he was waiting for word to come from the members. In the meanwhile, the Pacific fleet would continute their operations and assume command over the islands there.

In the Pacific, the first ships were arriving at the island of Mangareva, one of the eastern-most islands in French Polynesia. It held on it the city of Rikitea, the provincial capital, and home of 16 000 people. There were also a small army garrison and some old Zeeelandish warships. A couple of frigates and destroyers. They were targetted by the massive 16-inch cannons on the Ragnarok class battleship ICS Dødsengelen and engaged. The nine barrels on the Dødsengelen sent nine massive 16 inch projectiles straight into the ships, sinking them all. Another Ragnarok, the ICS Djevel sent volley after volley of 16 inch shells into the shore and anti-air defenses on Mangareva, terminating any resistance there. Soon, the Dødsengelen joined in. After two hours of non-stop bombardment from the two battleships, two battalions of Marines were sent ashore in the CH-53E Sea Stallion helicopters and LCACs, setting up a military garrison there. The people weren't overly happy, but they accepted the situation. After all, the Cots did have weapons, something that the civilians didn't. All in all, the occupation of the first island had gone off without a hitch.


Another battlegroup, this one consisting of a carrier group and two assault flotillas and an attached battleship group were steaming towards Tahiti, which was the capital of French Polynesia. Seven Virginia class submarines and four Seawolf class submarines from the 11th Submarine Flotilla (SSN) were being dispatched towards the western side of Tahiti with orders to sink any Kreynorian warship attempting to intervene. Two Ohio class SSGNs would also be in the area around Tahiti, laden with Tomahawks for assisiting the fleet.

The Emperor hadn't really expected the Cotts to agree, the days of honourable, limited battle being extinct. He ordered two Montana battlegroups and two Kiev battlegroups to French Polynesia (I'll post rest later, got school)

There are 4 military bases in French Polynesia, 3 bases in New Caledonia, 4 in Namibia, 2 in Botswana, 1 in Equatorial Guinea, and 2 in Rwanda. Each base has a garrison consisting of a single Guardian Brigade of 10,000 troops, specially trained in defensive fighting. Each base has 10 12-inch artillery pieces, 26 6-inch guns, 400 machine gun emplacements, 30 M-163 Machbet Flak guns, 20 ZSU-23 Mobile Flak Cannons, 16 Avenger SAMs, 4 MIM-104 Patriot launchers, 64 Stingray Light Tanks, 12 M-46 field guns, 24 Predator II MBTs, 6 MLRS units, and 180 M2A3 Bradley IFV's. They have enough stockpiled supplies to last through 4 months of siege on strict rationing, in theory. The walls are reinforced concrete 14 feet wide and 20 feet high, topped with 5 feet of barbed wire. Surrounding the walls is a moat 20 feet wide and 10 feet deep, with a spiked bottom. There are automatic security systems, a labyrinth of underground tunnels and shelters, and mechanical traps that can be activated in the central control bunker, which is underground and highly protected. All rooms can be sealed with reinforced steel doors, and can be filled with poison gas on command from the central control bunker.

Also, 10 Los Angeles-class and 2 Seawolf-class submarines will screen the fleet from below.

In addition, there will be one amphibious assault fleet (same as other battlegroups except capital ship is replaced by 4 transport vessels (8,000 marines plus 200 Stingray light tanks, 200 M2A3 Bradley IFVs, 30 M270 MLRS systems, and 70 M-72 Anti-Tank Weapons that will reinforce the garrison).

The carrier and assault groups were based in Pearl Harbor and the battleship groups in the Solomons.

The latest satellite reconnisance didn't look good. There were a lot of ships for the battlegroups to deal with, as well as the garrisons of the Kreynorian bases already in the area. It was going to be a one hell of a fight for the Imperial Cottish Navy. Perhaps too much for them too. That was why the Cottish doctrine had remained the same since before the Empire. Always call on your friend if someone's bothering you. Two fists are better than one. That was why the Emperor had summoned the Layartebian ambassador, who were now sitting opposite the Emperor in the Emperors office.

"Mr Ambassador, as you know, our two countries have enjoyed a long and strong friendship. One that has been proven time and time again, and through our alliances with each other in both the October Alliance and the NAANP. I'm sure you know of the military operations our navy has started in the Pacific, bringing our occupied territories in French Polynesia back to the Empire. It appears that the Kreynorians are butting in. Our intelligence shows that they are sending a substantial naval force into the area, one that could very likely force the Navy into its first defeat in eons. That is why I on behalf of Cotland formally request military assistance from the Empire of Layarteb in this conflict, in accordance with the third article in the charter of the October Alliance. One friend to another."

Satellites and observers in Hawaii had seen increased activity in the Layartebian islands of Nihau and Kaui. To the Kreynorians, it seemed obvious that they were up to something. The alliance between Cotland and Layarteb was well-known. All manner of shit was about to come, and it was doubted that the Kreynorians could hold off Cotland and Layarteb together, not to mention any other allies, such as Hawdawg or North Germania, that would come to Cotland's aid. The Emperor decided to do what he had done when Hawdawg threatened Kreynoira with invasion: beg for help.

It had become clear that if the war was to be fought, all of Kreynoria had to be mobilized for the war effort. Although conscription into the armed forces has not yet been started, all the able-bodied population of Kreynoria is being conscripted into the workforce. The following defensive measures have also been taken.

3. Increased patrols of aircraft, submarines, and surface vessels

4. Anti-aircraft guns, SAM batteries, and radar stations are being manned 24/7

8. Construction is commencing on bunkers, towers, and gun emplacements

9. Coastal waters are being mined and drift nets are being set up

10. Beaches are being mined, strung with barbed wire, overlooked by gun emplacements, and being rigged with scything blades and flame jets

If I here correctly, you are in need of help in a war with Cotland. :sniper: I could possibly be of help to you. We may have had some arguements in the past, but I really need some excitement. I could provide a great forward attack base as well as some troops, if there is something in it for me. another thing, I'm no naval force, but you are. My army will attack in the Caucasus and Russia. And Lay, if you do fight with Cotland, I will cease all oil trade with you.

Squornshelous will support its ally Kreynoria economically and diplomatically in this matter, but we regret that we cannot devote any military resources to aiding them at this time. The Kreynorians would receive a personal communique from the Zhonghuan Emperor himself, offering assistance in Kreynoria's time of need. More specifically, Emperor Suun offered a deterrant. If Kreynoria was willing to accept the proposal, Zhonghuan troops could be flown in to bolster defences in major cities, Zhonghuan aircraft could be stationed at Kreynorian airbases, and two Zhonghuan battle fleets could be dispatched from their ports to provide naval support.

If Cotland and anyone else wished to attack Kreynoria, they would be met with the same response they would meet if they invaded Zhonghua itself.

If we have not recieved your answer within 12 hours, we will consider the lack of reply a "no" and go ahead with defensive operations against any forces invading the Cottish territory of French Polynesia.

The Kreynorian acceptance of the Zhonghuan offer kickstarted a fierce internal propaganda campaign which explained the Zhonghuan deployment as 'protecting an ally against thuggery and intimidation'.

Five of Zhonghua's ten airlift divisions began to be loaded up with the initial defence forces; the massive An-224s were assigned to ferry five infantry divisions along with necessary equipment, while the Sixth and Seventh Projection Fleets would be bringing marines and five AAA divisions in addition to the fleets themselves. Preparations were also being made for the transfer of five divisions of Su-30MKK fighters to Kreynorian airbases.

It was explained to the Kreynorians that this was an initial deployment, and that more forces would be committed if necessary in order to assist them in their defence. Zhonghuan military facilities in the Marianas and Marshall Islands were also put on a heightened state of alert.

Observers watching the Kreynorian naval bases in Hawaii made quick note that two carrier groups and two assault groups had left port, obviously heading west. Around the same time, the urgent plea for help from the Cottish government was recieved. The situation was dire and grim. In the coming hours, Layartebian observers also noticed increased activity within Kreynorian territory. Patrols had vastly increased, anti-aircraft batteries were obviously on higher alert, at night there were no lights to be seen, coastal waters had seen much more naval activity, possibly mining, construction projects nearly trippled, and, lastly, the public was being armed and informed. They were preparing for war, it was obvious. Whether or not the Kreynorians were going to actually attack Layartebian assets on Nihau and Kaui they knew not but they were certainly poised to.

In light of this and the situation in Poland, the REDCON status of Layarteb was kept at 2. The ILM had not been at REDCON 2 since the war with Yelm and had been at REDCON 2 since the Polish situation grew increasingly unstable. Whether or not the peace conference would yield anything was the determining factor of whether or not the force readiness would decrease to REDCON 3 or increase to REDCON 1, which meant nothing short of "WAR."

The Cottish plea for help was obviously going to be answered but how. Rumors of a massive coalition brewing by the Kreynorians were true and Layarteb could not afford to lose its bases in Hawaii. Nonetheless, an ally was an ally. Ships that had already been put to sea around Hawaii began to set up a blockaide line around the islands, 25 nautical miles from the shores, well into international waters. At the same time, six submarines, all Seawolf Flight III SSNs moved towards French Polynesia, carrying a heavy armament. A single New York SSGN had already been introduced to the area and a single Wasp Carrier Battle Group would be on the way as well, carrying with it a good amount of firepower.

The forces that were to invade Cotland's Causcasus territory were preparing and mobilizing. If this does come to war, I will move in and cut off Caucasian oil supplies to Cotland and any countries fighting alongside Cotland. It's not godmodding. My military size is disporportionately large because of my nation's cultur. The government doesn't provide education, healthcare, welfare, power, water, or sanitation services to its helots, which are all the non-military population, and are basically government-owned slaves.

Aww, come on Cotland. A massive front between two multi-million men forces in the style of the WWII Russian front would be great fun. But, its your choice to use nukes or not.

The intelligence agencies in Cotland were getting worried now. They saw massive amounts of military material lined up on the Cottish-Spartan border, apparently ready to move across at any moment. It was sufficient to get the Emperor to authorize a increase of readyness to BERSTAT-2 in Defense District South from the previous BERSTAT-3. In short, BERSTAT-2 meant that the National Guard would be mobilized and readied for repealing invaders, as well as alerting all regular military forces in the area. That included quite a bit of armored divisions, even more infantry divisions and a lot of attack helicopters, SAM, flak and AAA sites, not to mention the hundreds of fighters that were assigned to Defense District South.

More clandestently, B61 and B83 gravity bombs equipped with thermonuclear warheads were being readied for action and prepared to be loaded onto the FB-22 Manta bombers. A total of ten B61s or four B83s would be carried in each of the bombers, which were now on maximum alert. If the enemy moved across the border, they would be some of the first units to return fire.

Also being mobilized were the Strategic Missile Force, which was deployed in numerous locations around Cotland and Norway. Everyone hoped that it wouldn't come to the deployment of nuclear weapons, but the Cots would use the small tactical nukes purely in self defense. It was well within their right to defend their homeland with any means available to them.

OOC: Agreed. The only times I will use nukes are if I'm invaded, or fired upon with nukes or other WMDs first. Just so that it's clear.

IC: The Cottish Minister of Foreign Affairs landed in Rome that same morning in a C-21 Learjet belonging to the ICAF. These negotiations would hopefully resolve the situation in the Pacific, where the respective battlefleets had stopped and were waiting for the negotiations to end. Hopefully, the Romans would end this conflict so it turned to Cotlands advantage.

With satellite imagry and intelligence reports pouring in concerning a Spartan buildup in the Caucasus, the ILM had to act. With such a massive build up of forces, the Cottish front would not hold up to any offensive, regardless of what support they had on the ground. The front was roughly 2,500 miles away from Ireland and 2,900 miles from Iceland. It was close, very close. With REDCON 2, bomber patrols were 24/7.

Cottish doctrine would call for nuclear arms in such a massive invasion and the consequences of such would be dire, far too dire for the Empire to risk. The best plan of action was a massive defensive operation. The only problem was that a lot of men would lose their lives.

Therein, the ILM revised a plan it had originally called to use against Yelmish forces. The plan called for the ingress of B-7B Incubus heavy bombers, armed with AGM-192 Dreamcatcher missiles. The first wave would drop in roughly a dozen AGM-192C Dreamcatcher missiles, each armed with an EMP based warhead capable of frying all electronics for 14.54 square miles. That would put a slow or a stop to the Spartan advance. The second wave would use powerful, incendiary bombs, dropped from altitude, against Spartan elements, causing a massive inferno that would swallow soldiers and equipment. Mop-up operations could then be done with anti-tank aircraft, assault helicopters, fighters, and bombers.

This plan would be immediately forwarded to the Cottish Emperor, Thomas I.

Emperor Constantinius and his delegation would be leaving early from Fleet Week at Layarteb City, for both safety reasons, and to attend a peace conference in Rome. Constantinius knew well of the Romans' reputation as negotiaters, and trusted that the negotiations would be satisfactory to both parties.

The Layartebian request was immediately approved by the Emperor, and orders were given to the border defenses to allow Layartebian bombers to pass without needing to recieve the normal fighter escort. Moreover, the Layartebians had agreed to supply the Imperial Cottish Air Force with BLU-124/125/126 incindeary bombs for use in supporting the Layartebian missile strikes. Pilots had been briefed on the use of these bombs before, but they were taking crash refreshing courses in their bunkers. The B61s were still kept at stand-by in case the firebombing didn't work. Better safe than sorry you know.

All over Defense District South, you could see that something was up. Men left their work and changed into green BDUs and equipped their AG3A1s. At the equipment depots, tanks, IFVs and APCs were driven out, while some were manning the many AH-64D Apache gunships that the National Guard had to their disposal. Personell of the Air National Guard manned their planes. Mostly old F-15s and F-16s, but also some B-52Hs and B-1Bs. All in all, across Defense District South, roughly seven million National Guardsmen now stood under arms, while the twenty divisions assigned to Defense District South were ready.

Squornshelous commends Kreynoria and Cotland on their descision to attempt to settle their differences through words before resorting to guns. If the government of Kreynoria requests it, we will send diplomats to this conference. Squornshelous has a very strong interest in preventing this war, as we would be torn, with allies on both sides.

Also, we condemn the aggressive actions of Sparta Dominion, and urge them to be more patient and cautious in their actions. We strongly suggest that Sparta Dominion await the results of the conference in Rome before starting any action against Cotland. With the territory dispute being discussed with words at a conference table, we can only conclude that Sparta Dominion's actions are motivated by aggression and that you have a seperate agenda in this action, using the land dispute as a pretext for war.

In light of the peace conference with Cotland and Kreynoria, the Layartebian naval blockaide around Hawaii was put on hold. Ships maintained a 25 nautical mile barrier but would not block any shipping from entering or exiting the island chain. However, Layartebian ships maintained orders to fire upon any ship or target if fired upon.

Across the globe, in the Caucasus, Spartan forces were amassed in fierce numbers. Eight B-7B Incubus bombers were inbound towards the Spartan lines. Two were armed with six AGM-192C Dreamcatcher missiles each, two were armed with six AGM-192D Dreamcatcher missiles each, and the other four were loaded with 180,000 pounds of incendiary bombs, more or less 90 BLU-126 2,000 pound bombs each. The bombers were moving from Ireland to set up an orbit position over Cottish territories. They were at 80,000 feet and moving at a mere 800 miles per hour, a fraction of their maximum speed. This would let them stay in the air for hours upon hours. Aerial refueling was being used as well to maintain a constant alert whilst they were replaced every 16 hours. If worst came to worst, they would go buster to the front lines and release their ordinance.

OOC: I saw, and rest assured that if your nuclear weapons are released upon my troops or my land then you will see the business end of the MGM-200B Thomas ICBM. If you haven't noticed yet, then I have went away from the plans to utilize nukes against you. Yet.

LTC. Anderson was the flight leader of Gold Group. He was in the lead B-7B Incubus, flying over Central Europe, heading tho their orbit route, over Moscow. The bombers were moving slowly, in retrospect to their actual speed. At 750 miles per hour, they were above the sound barrier but well under their maximum speed.

He was a veteran in the ILAF, just as every B-7 pilot was. He previously flew on the B-4 Magnum, as a major. As a captain and less, he flew an F-19A Ghostrider and flew roughly 60 combat sorties and managed to shoot down a pair of enemy MiG-29s on one sortie, recording his only two combat kills. In the ILAF, all B-4s were flown by no one under the rank of major and all B-7s were flown by no one under the rank of lieutenant colonel. When he reached colonel he would stay with the B-7 and just move up to a squadron commander. As it was now, he was the only person in his squadron to have shot down more than one enemy aircraft. At least one kill was required to be a B-7 pilot. Pilots who started out with the B-1, B-2, or B-52 would never get a chance to advance up to the B-7 but could advance to the B-9.

The air at 85,000 feet was cold, very cold. His aircraft moved quietly through the icy air and as they moved towards Moscow, the eight bombers kept silent on their emissions. They had their passive detection systems running and were highly stealthy but their radars were off. At their speed and altitude, they would be classified as a high altitude bomber, if they were detected. Their radar signatures were so small that they made the B-1B look like an F-15 on radar.

Gold flight carried the same ordinance as Green flight and they were about to relieve them in the next few hours. Green flight had been up there for 16 hours and was ready to come back down for landing and sleep. Gold flight would remain in the air for another 16 hours before they were relieved by Blue flight. All-in-all, there were four different flights, allowing crewmen at least 48 hours of rest and relaxation before another mission.

Let's not get hasty, shall we. At least, not until the war starts, anyway. And I really don't want to use nukes against you. But if I must, I will give the order. But I do understand your not going to use nukes and I probably won't either. :)

The flight group flew high and slow. Their MFDs remained as such. The "red" MFD, as it were called, was silent. That MFD was linked directly to central command and only had one purpose. Orders came through that MFD. It was originally installed in the B-4 for nuclear release options and signified the release of nuclear weapons in the B-7A. In the B-7B it was a multimode type MFD that recieved orders in general. If that MFD came with the codeword, the coordinates, and the mission, they were off, to bomb the Spartan lines.

Reichskanzler Kübler had received the request from Cotland for military aid. Whether or not it could be provided was a question of debate -- with 50% of the armed forces already activated [though not including the reserve armies], and with tension along the borders in Europe building to the point of near war, deploying any mass force would be an immense risk to the safety of the Reich.

However, there was another solution...

With the ownership of the territories of Oman, Kazahkstan, part of Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, the production, refining, stockpiling, and gathering of oil had become very easy, and very cheap. Because of the huge industrial centers in Germany, Southern England, Austria, France, and Denmark, the cost and time in production of fuel for jets, tanks, and other military and civilian vehicles had dropped nearly 200%, thereby placing Germania in a situation where it could procure enough fuel not only for itself, but enough to supply several allied armies with no trouble.

However, Germania would not stand by while its allies were threatened. The armies of the Afrikakorps in South Africa and Niger had been activated, and a message was sent to the October Alliance:

The security there are currently undergoing serious refurbishment, as a infantry battalion and two Ranger teams are being deployed to protect it. Air defenses are in plenty, as on all Cottish military installations.

At Air Force Station 103, there were a flurry of activity. The usual occupants, 331 and 835 Fighter Intercept Squadrons, flying F-22B Raptors and F-15C Eagles respectively, and the 63rd Helicopter Squadron which were flying six UH-95A Huey IIs (Layartebian made), as well as the personell manning the air defenses and maintenance equipment, roughly 800 people all in all, were busy making room for the new arrivals, while the newly arrived guards, the 2nd Battalion of the 86th Infantry Brigade were setting up checkpoints and getting comfortable in the old barracks that hadn't been used for years untill now.

The two Ranger teams had also arrived, but they would set up small camps in the forest outside the base perimeter. If anyone approached, they would face twenty Rangers first, then roughly 540 top-trained infantrymen, 20 M113A3 Gavin APCs and 30 M2010A1 Bushmaster IMVs. Then if they survived that, they would have to face the inner protective ring, which consisted of the 40 Air Force guard soldiers and the remaining 750 Air Force personell, all armed with some sort of weapon.

At 11 AM in the morning, the last of the personell expected arrived. It was a team of intelligence officers who had been attracted when they heard that the Layartebians were bringing classified aircraft. Everything was set for the arrival of the Layartebians.

The air armada, sans the helicopters, flew in on their own accord, refueling multiple times along the way. Helicopters were flown in via C-17 Globemaster IIIs and C-5 Galaxys. They were easily made transportable via cargo aircraft, all arriving at the same time. With them came another three aircraft worth of munitions, allowing all of the aircraft to sustain heavy sorties for two full weeks. Resupply by C-17 and C-5 would be done if necessary and an arms depot would be set up not far from the airbase.

All of the aircraft would be stored in heavily hardened structures, protected by Layartebian guards. Aircraft would be kept hidden from prying eyes, especially the Cottish regulars at the base.

OOC: Well, I guarantee that Cottish military units won't do anything against your diplomats if the negotiations fail, and I urge my allies to guarantee the same.

IC: The Minister of Foreign Affairs were in Rome, waiting for the negotiations to start. He was getting restless, and wanted to get the negotiations over with so that they could get the peace back.

The Kreynorian jet liner and its F-22 escorts carrying the ambassador approached the airport in Rome. The ambassador, who had been taking a much-needed nap, was awoken and the delegation prepared to disembark as the planes touched down on the tarmac. The Roman arrival committee welcomed the Kreynorians and escorted them to the cars that would take them to the meeting place.

I would love to act as the Rebel Insurgent group in Serbia, the name will be the Neo Partizans. Ok I'll have to find and post some tech later, but mostly basic, SAM's, AK-A1 assult rifles (very new), and some serbian modified AK rifles and grenades (because thats how we do). Also, what era is this in, from what I see this is like the year 2020 or something, still quite modern.

As part of Zeeland??? Ok, I guess, but I;m still a completly Rebel Faction. This Germania guy, tell him he has a large grounp of rebels, that would negociate for the serbian territory. If he denies, we will be forced to attack. I would like to add that the serbian people have always been against oppression and need to have their own country, so this would correctly be substancial rebel resistance.

Well, Germania's on vacation. He's already had one rebellion we RP in Poland, and he was damned brutal. Yes, I agree the Serbs are an independent people, we saw enough of that in WWI and the Balkan Wars (RL). Find the "Earth II-Revitalization" thread and state your intentions there.

That, and the conference door will not be guarded by only two soldiers. It would probably have quite a few guarding it and not just two "amateurs"- this would be the Praetorian Guard, the highest class of soldiers in the Roman Empire. They'd be able to smell a dirty trick seven miles before it begins. Plus, I highly doubt the Germanians would let you out of Germanian territory alive.

The Imperial Layartebian Navy will keep its blockaide at 25 nautical miles until a decision has been made. During the time of the conference, ships will not impeede the flow of traffic. Any shots fired at ILN ships will face retaliatory strikes. The EOL has no claims, desires, nor demands from this conflict and shall not be attending the peace conference but will continue to stand by its long-term ally, the Empire of Cotland.

IC: The Cottish delegation, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the lead, had entered the Roman conference room and were now about to start its opening talks. The Minister of Foreign Affairs were a elderly gentleman, but that didn't mean that he was weak or easy to fool. Nay, this man had been in the fields of international diplomacy ever since before the third Empire rose from the ashes of the old Commonwealth, and he knew his trade very well. He had never lost a cool, and he was the best damned diplomat Cotland could offer. The mere fact that he was here were a testement to how important this issue were for the Cots. French Polynesia had been a part of the Empire for a long time, and although it had been out of there for a relatively short period of time, it still belonged to Cotland. Although the Cots preferred gaining Polynesia through peaceful means, it didn't mean that the Cots were unwilling to fight over it. In fact, the Cottish Empire were both ready and willing to fight a bitter war to return French Polynesia back under the Cottish flag.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, on behalf of the Cottish Empire, I will lay out the Cottish demands for peaceful closure of the conflict in the Pacific Ocean.

Firstly, all of French Polynesia will be returned to the Empire of Cotland immediately. There will be no lowering of this demand.

Secondly, all foreign military forces, Cottish chosen allies excluded, will leave Polynesian waters immediately. This demand will not be lowered either.

Thirdly, all Cottish citizens in Kreynoria and Kreynorian allied nations will be granted permission to leave said nations without hessitation and duress. Kreynorian and Kreynorian allies' citizens will be granted the same permission.

Fourthly, monetary compensation will be payed to the Empire of Cotland for any Cottish military or civilian casualties inflicted by Kreynorian or Kreynorian allied armed forces. This include for instance housing, ships, aircraft, human lives, et cetra.

Fifthly, all Kreynorian military units will stand down from wartime alert. Cottish forces will do the same once we recieve confirmation that the Kreynorians have started demobilizing.

In short, we demand that the Kreynorians allow Cotland to take control over Polynesia, and that they withdraw their military forces from the area. In return, we will not mind if Kreynoria interfér with any other islands in the Pacific, as long as they don't attack Cottish allies in the area. We are also willing to offer a monetary sum for Polynesia, albeit not a very large one. Anything else, we can negotiate. Thank you."

The Minister then returned to his seat and waited for the Kreynorian delegation to give their demands. Only then could the negotiations really start!

If you don't stand down your military immediately, you will be bombed back to before the "Big Bang (http://liftoff.msfc.nasa.gov/academy/universe/b_bang.html)" by joint Cottish-Layartebian forces. It's all up to you, really.

Emperor Constantinius, resisting an urge to smile, delivered his response to the Cottish statement. "The Empire is willing to peacefully withdraw from French Polynesia and will except your offer of monetary compensation. Our forces will receive the recall order when this meeting is over. The minister smiled when he heard the Kreynorian response.

"Sir, we have an accord!" he said while standing up and extending his hand towards the Kreynorian Emperor. Meanwhile, an aide picked up a phone and called the Treasury and had them prepare two trillion USD for immediate transfer. It was a hefty amount of money, but it was well worth it. Cotland was once again in control of French Polynesia, or just simply Polynesia as it would be called once power had been consilidated.

The Empire recieved the Cottish message concerning the accord over French Polynesia. The blockaide was no longer needed and so it would be removed, sent back to port.

To the Government of Kreynoria

We are pleased that you chose the propper route in terms of French Polynesia. In effect of your accord, the blockaide around Hawaii has been lifted and all ships are hereby returning to port.

The Emperor shook the Cottish minister and scrawled his signature onto the accord. The Kreynorian delegation then departed the room, relieved that peace had been reached.

Cotland, let me tell you the whole story. The peace conference was a trap. The plane supposedly carrying one of my two kings, would be filled with nukes :gundge: . It would crash into the building where the conference would be held. It would destroy Cotlandstad, the rulers of Cotland, North Germania, and Layarteb. Hopefully a large number of troups would be there defending your capital, so they would die too. This entire Idea was suggested by Kreynoria. But I decided that I would get wiped off the face of this Earth, and it wouldn't be worth it. Although Kreynoria kept urging me on, the idea grew even fainter as you chose a new city to have the conference. but, I'm now willing to have a real peace conference. :D No hard feelings?

Pretty amusing idea I'll say. It was a good idea too. It would have been unfortunate if it happened because (1) my leader wasn't there; (2) wow what a response that would have had, especially if it got back that Krey was part of it; (3) you would cease to be.
