Silent Requiem


Maxist commander Joseph Karm looked out the shuttle capsule. He had a large view of Station Omega, which was under construction. Large space cranes shot out every which way, and small spacecraft peppered the sky around it. "Funny isnt it", Joseph said to himself." How just years ago building a community in space was a dream. And now it will soon be a reality."

His small spacecraft set down upon a large landing pad. The door opened and he began to walk down a large capsule-like see through hallway. Unused peices of plastic lay upon the side of the path, and workers using strange tools were working on a small room off the hallway. He was greeted by a small, fat man, who ushered him into another hallway, and into a large room.

He looked up, and saw the massive domed ceiling, and its magnificent mural that wrapped around the room. Puie-like seats were being welded into the floor, and computer wiring went every which way. "Good afternoon Joseph !", bellowed a large, tall man. "What do you think of the place ?", the man asked "It is amazing, it seemed to have slipped my mind; how many people will inhabit this place ?" asked Joeseph. "A good 2 million, earth is becoming a hell-hole with all the fighting, and the constant destruction caused by the rebel Mobile suites are destroying the cities." Joe nodded his head, when a large shaking motion knocked him to the floor...

Prelude


The discovery of Minovsky Particles and the new aged physics their discovery has spawned have been the death sentence for conventional warfare. Radar has been muted, friction no longer a concrete variable, and dazzling yet lethal beam weaponry has become a reality. However, the most important aspect of this new aged science was the development of a compact fusion reactor that could power a totally unorthodox fighting machine: the massive, humanoid fighting machines known as mobile suits.

War rages on many different fronts, both On Planet and in space with both sides unleashing ever more devastating new weaponry. Maxist soldiers in the southertier fought valiantly to destroy an isolated Rebel research facility and the mammoth secret weapon therein. It was a costly campaign and cost the lives of some of the finest soldiers on both sides. Above the Arctic Circle, research is being conducted on a new Rebel superweapon. The secrecy around this operation at the top of the world had come under scrutiny by Maxist commando forces that are at present planning a raid. Even the Northern continent is being wracked by war as two fortified positions in the eastern front prepare to clash.

Conflict between the Rebels and the Maxists has reached a boiling point. With both sides losing half their respective populations in only the first week of combat due to indiscriminate usage of nuclear and chemical weapons and other tactics of mass destruction, the conflict is also getting more desperate…

10 years earlier


The rebel uprising began to become increasingly violent. Maxist OZ-2's (http://gundam.anime.net/images/mecha/OZ-02MD.GIF) were taking heavier and heavier losses. Rebel forces had been fortifieing the Arctic Circle, and begining special projects at the location. A major suprise came when a prototype Mobile suit had been discovered in a captured rebel base, which could outperform anything in the Maxist arsenal. It was givin the codename- XMS-00 "Gundam" (http://gundam.anime.net/images/mecha/RGM-89.Sh.GIF), as it was made out of gundanium. Test proved its superiortiy, and the Maxist's immeditly began to develope something to counter it. Named MSA-X (http://gundam.anime.net/images/mecha/MMS-01.BC.GIF), the program, while being sucsessful, was finally canned after taking up too much funds and too much time. A next, more advanced and cheaper alternative, named FMS-1 (http://gundam.anime.net/images/mecha/MS-01.GIF), was developed as an improved Mobile suit, but still not as powerfull as a "Gundam". The first "true" Gundam developed by the Maxist forces was the MSA- 1 (http://gundam.anime.net/images/mecha/FA-78-1.GIF), which during the shipment of it to the moon for safekeeping, had been lost when the transport carrying it had been destroyed in an ambush. Mobile suits were becoming more and more capable as the months past by, untill a ceasefire was signed in December.

Space Colony BELT was appropriatly named... what considering it was the first and(as of currently) only colony located in the Asteroid Belt and all. It was headquarters for the secret and powerful organisation known to its members as the Unity. No-one had heard of the Unity. Especially after it abondaned Earth around the start of the 21st century. It had been developing its technology, biding its time, building its forces.

It had observed those left behind on Earth, observed and copied their technological progress. It had been doing this and establishing mining outposts throughout the asteroid belt to collecft resources to feed its growing weapons. It even built a small space fleet, mainly consisting of a single frigate and a bunch of corvettes, none of which could do any real damage to a space colony, much less a planet, but could carry a considerable amount of troops and reach Earth within 10 minutes at minimum. It was almost time. For now, they sat, and waited.

Joeseph looked up in shock. He was releaved to hear space debris had hit the colony. He was led down a passageway to a massive warhouse-like room, containing a bunch of test equpment and what appeared to be a massive gundam (http://www.bad-words.com/images/misclineart/fazeta.jpg). "Joeseph, this is the MSA-4, which you have heard so much about. It has been designed especially for you.", said the old man that had led him there. Joe had a dumbfounded look on his face. The Maxist gundam pilots were among the best. We control some of north america, all of south america, except for the tip, Southern africa, hong kong and japan, australia, France, german, UK, and other nations near there. and most of india. They control Eastern Europe, most of asia, antartica and North pole, russia, most of africa, and the tip of south america.

Outside Chigaco the 78th Mobile Suit Team of the Maxist 7th Field Army took up thier position along side Highway 101.

(Crackle of radio) "Sir when do we move up and smash those rebels out of our city?"
Me:"As soon as the flyboys finish ther bombing run" As soon as I said that the thunder of jet engines were heard.
Me: "Heads up everyone it's starting"
The first of the bombs fell on the occupied city. As I looked outwards my Suits sensors picked up Enemy Suits Dashing out of the city. 4 Outdated MS-06 Zakus thundered to our postions. The Zakus aimed there rifles upwards at our bombers. The crack of the rifles could be heard for miles as tracers were seen arching up torawds the planes."Shit sir were taking losses out planes don't stand a chance against those Zakus." "Alright lets take 'em out!" My Gundam GP03 shot out of the dirt enplacement followed by 4 GM Customs. I raised my Bream rifle Level with the first Zaku my shot rang out and sricked the Zaku dead center penatrating the amour. As the zaku exploded the remaing zakus retured fire 105mm shells glazed my gundam. My Squad concentrated there fire on 2 Zakus pepering them with 90mm AP shells Exploding one zaku and disabling another. The last zaku fired on one of my Squad disabling him. I shot the Zaku dead center killing the pilot and destroying the Zaku. After the skirmish we retook positions along route 101. I got out of my Gundam and looked at the devestation of Chigaco. Multiple Fires could be seen as Smoke filled the air." I remeber when this used to be a lovely city. But these basterds made it there home. Cpl. Mendez" Sir The General wants to talk with out." Me: "Well lets go see what he wants shall we."..

Outside Omega Colony

Joeseph climbed into his MSA-4 (http://www.bad-words.com/images/misclineart/fazeta.jpg), and prepared to help the Maxist forces down in Chicago. Michael J. Fox led a small assualt on Weaton, a suburb of Chicago. Mike's MS-14F mobile suite (http://gundam.anime.net/images/mecha/MSA-005.GIF), while old, was still quite capable. He, along with 4 OZ-13's, were coming upon the town when gunfire erupted from a quater if a mile away, battering oneOZ-13 to the point that it collapsed and exploded, sending a shockwave through the area. Maxist ground troops were dug-in, trying to defened the city, but enemy forces had been giving them a major beating. Maxist forces had set up a major command base in Aurora, 36 miles west of chicago, and Rebel forces began to attempt to flank it, taking Naperville and Joliet, in an attempt to surround Maxist forces in the city. At that moment, several small nuclear blasts eminated from Gary, killing many Maxist forces. Maxist forces began the thrust east from Elgin as the sun began to set...

It was time... time for the Unity to strike, a target had been chosen, a battlground, a city in ruins, there would be plenty of mass in the ruins to salvage and continue to build the Unities weapons on the planet.

The CONTINIUTY Frigate and its corvette escorts came out of warp 60 miles above the city, immediatly, VTOL Transports began to lift off, each one carried a dozen UIY-01 Robotic Foot Soldiers. These were the primary 'Infantry' unit of the Unity army, armed with Gauss Auto-Rifles or Laser Guided Missile Launchers, these androids were the same size of normal human being, except they were alot faster and stronger. Some of the VTOL Transports were carrying 2 UNY-02 Automated MBTs, armed with a 125mm Rail-Guns, these tanks were the same size as the tanks from the late 20th/early 21st century. At the same time, FS-04s took off to achieve air superiority over the battlefield and G-08s to provide air-ground support.

The Frigate alone carried enough troops and weapons for 2 divisions+transports. The Corvettes could only carry a Brigade OR a airwing. In total, 3 divisions(4 Brigades from 4 corvettes+2 divisions from Frigate) and 2 airwings came down on the Maxist and rebel forces fighting.

OOC:Well the 78th stole GM equipment(I guess). Plus It looks better if GM's follow my GP03 :) .First time I wrote this up it logged me out which in turn deleted this post which PISSED me off completley so I kinda mighta left some parts out.

IC: The thundering of Maxist Artillery could be heard fom miles. As Jason walked into the Command Tent he could here the General sighing. Jason:"Well General what did you want?" General" Ah yes well Maxist forces have taking a beating near Elgin and Nuclear divices have been used losing many civilians." "Brass has decided to take Chigaco once and for all" Jason:"So that means we go in and not leave this time right?" General:"Thats right"."Also A Gundam Team will be joining us to help" Jason sighed as he heard this but didn't object. "Alright I'll inform my team and update out battleplan."As Jason left the command tent he looked up and saw a Bomber wing fly in the direction of Chigaco. Jason stood infrom of his team"Well guys this is it were going into the city and not coming out till it's ours!" As his 4 man squad heard this the cheered in unison. Jason"Also the brass has decided for us that we need help so they sent some Gundam Team to help us out." The whole team groaned in the idea of help. Jason:"Listen I have no idea how these guys work or what they'll bring but I know we don't need no fucking help!"..

And it was that point the Unity's forces appeared. The G-08s strafed the ground, destroying any target that looked military AND non-Unity. The FS-04s began to lock on and fire long range, laser guided missiles at other air units. The VTOL Transports began to land and the tanks and Androids hanging from them unhooked and began to attack. The Soldiers with the Gauss Auto-Rifles COULD punch small holes in the mobile suits, but the only real damage they could do was superficial. The Missile Soldiers were a moderately big threat, a well aimed missile could, at the least, immobilize a certain system of a mobile suit, at the worst, destroy it. The tanks would be the biggest ground threat. Their mounted Rail Guns could rip a section of a normal mobile suit to shreds. Another thing the Tanks and Androids had going for them were their size, their smallness(when compared to mobile suits) would allow them to easily scamper out of the way.

Maxist Pegasus class assault carriers began to lower down into the atmosphere. They unloaded Ian Willink and Ryan costanza, along with their gundams. They were to destroy everything in their path. Ian Climbed into the cockpit of the MSA-2. He powered up the system, and grapped the controls. and looked into the hud. He saw Ryan power up his Gundam too. "Time to go eh ?", he said over the intercom. "Hell yeah" reported Ryan. They began to move forward to meet up with the 78th, just outside of Aurora.

OOC:HELLO!!?? Am I being ignored here?!

It was just then their was a massive counterstrike launched from an unkown assailant. Mobile suits came under heavy fire, which proved rather useless as the Mobile suits just stepped on the androids. The missile armed soldiers proved slightly more effective, but the Very powerful ECM had rendered guidance useless, although ones that hit did manage to cause heavy damadge. Seeing that almost 60 percent of Chicago had been reduced to rubble, Maxist generak Steaven Hoop ordered the Maxist fleet to obliverate the city. Maxist battleships, Assault carriers, heavy and light cruisers fired a massive amount of weapons at the city, leveling whatever was left od the city and damadging the surrounding area.

Jason had the Mateninece crew working on his tems Mobile Suits for the upincoming battle. While Jason looked over a map of Chicago one of his Squadmates walked up to him. "Yes" Said Jason without looking up. "Well sir I have a question how are we going to get into the city sir?" Jason:" Well son were gonna Paradrop in our Mobile Suits into the City along with the 81st Mobile Suit Team, I don't know what the S Teams gonna but I hope they'll join us in the paradrop." Squadmate:"Ah at least it'll be fun going feet first." Jason continued looking at Intel reports formulating a plan that will bring everyone home...

There was silence for several minutes. a division worth of material had been annhilated, but more was coming in, attacking both Maxist and Rebel forces. More and more tanks began to menace the mobile suits, popping out and firing the Rail-Guns before darting to another position. The Gauss Auto-Rifle Androids began to stop firing and start hiding. The missile Troops would hide in narrow what was-left-of-alleys, wait for a mobile suit to passby, then pop out and put a missile in its back.

Around this time 4 Unity Corvettes zipped in and dropped four large red shells before zipping back out, and by large we mean mobile suit sized in height, two mobile suits in length. Then 6 portholes opened up and big red legs popped out and lifted the machines up, these were X-204 'Abomoinations'. Another large porthole at the top and a large looking beam weapon popped out, the Abominations locked on to nearby targets and began to charge then fire their disintergration beams.

Ian Darted immeditly, dodging a plasma-like weapon fire. A OZ-13 nearby was not as luck, and was hit and fell to the ground, before exploding, while its smoke blocked the enemies view. the MSA-2 Jetted to the right of the large enemy bots, and fired into shroud with his Laser Rifle, and chugged away woth his head-mounted vulcan cannons. A single Musai class heavy cruiser was sent to investigate space activity in the area.

As Jason talked with the 81st Team Leader Explosions rocked the base. Jason:"Fuck get to your Mobile suits!" Xlations yelled thoughout the base as the 78th MS Team headed toward the Explosions. As they neared the site missiles streaked though the air. Jason:"Fuck where did that come from?" "Sir there are some kind of infantry on the ground!" Jason"Well fuck it fire at them" 90mm and 60mm shells landed on the ground cratering the Infantry. "Shit Sir ain't this overkill for infantry?" "Well you don't want to die do ya?"..

The laser rifle took down one of the legs of the Abomination, it hit the ground, the Disintergration Beam blew up, frying the circutry, the primary armor to the X-204 held up surprisingly well against the pummelling, it took a full 15 seconds before the armor gave way, collapsing in on the Abomination and it bursted into a ball of flames. The other 3 abominations stopped disintergrating things for a moment to focus in on what had destroyed their brethren. Then they began to scuttle along the ground with surpising speed, intending the ram the mobile suit headfirst.

The androids Jason and his crew were facing didnt do to well. They quickly began to stop firing their Gauss Auto-Rifles and began letting their missile troops do the work. 2 tanks rolled up to the assembly area and began to fire on the mobile suits with their Rail-Guns.

The Heavy Cruiser that was sent to check out found some evidence of ionic trails, which was quickly filled with the showing of a frigate, which quickly fired off 4 Scatter-X Warheads at the Cruiser before darting back out. The Scatter-X warheads would, as the name implied, consisted of multiple warheads, each warhead carryied 5,000 pounds of explosives. There were 2 dozen warheads in a single Scatter-X one.

Jason and His Team hid Behind several Large buildings that were left standing and looked at there tactical maps. "Shit guys there everywhere I don'tknow who they are but they want Chicago and more badly then we do." The GP03 darted out of the Building fireing at the Tanks destroying most of them. The GM Customs fired at the postions of the Automated Infantry with their 90mm Rifles. Jason Turned his mobile suit around to see a Large Mechanical Spider Ram a Mobile Suit. "What the fuck...was that." "I don't know sir but we better take it out." "Agreed!" The GP03 Fired it's Bream Rifle repeaditly. After the Seccond shot the GM's joined in with concentrated 90mm fire..

It turned out the legs were the weakest part. Two legs collpased on the Abomination and it toppled to the ground. The remaining two turned and began to target, charge, and fire their Disintergration Beams.

OOC:REALLY tired right now, I gotta go to bed. G'Night all.

Ryan noticed the signature from the aboninations aiming at Ian through the smoke. He fired at one with his 4 laser rifles. At that time Joe finally arrived, and went over to the aboniation with has Gundam/mobile armor(Huge gundam that can chuck stuff) and kicked its legs out from under it. Maxist forces began to fall back to Lacon and the rest of the 14th asssault group fled into springfield, taking grevious losses in the retreat from the Surburban chicago area. After Maxist forces were clear from the city, The maxist detonated 15 Nuclear weapons throught the city and surrounding area.


The war had been very dangerous to civilians, and cities everywere were gone. NYC, destroyed by nuclear explosion, bejing too. Fighting was occuring in Nirobi, Riga, and western Warsaw. Many smaller cities had been destroyed by nuclear explosion, the list was becoming endless.. Buffalo, Indanapolis, Baltimore, Washington DC, and Pittsburg had been engulfed in nuclear holocaust, and things were only getting worse...

Maxist forces began to become desparate, and the 1st battle fleet was ordered to destroy anything still within the city. Massive particle cannons shot out of the many ships, heading toward the remains of chicago. 2 Maxist G-Falcons (http://www.gundamuniverse.it/gundamx/G-Falcon-file/g-falcon.jpe) squadrons, armed with beam cannons and vulcans, began to engage enemy air forces in the area, and 10 of the Massive Rocky class land battleships (http://www.geocities.com/aw_gundam_x/rocky.jpg) were sent to destroy whatever was left, each ship unloading 6 RGM-79 Mobile suits (http://www.pcgames.com.cn/cartoon/topic/gaoda/data/rwzl/0404/pic/RGM-79%5BE%5D.jpg).

After the destrution of the New Spider Mobile suits the 78th was ordered back to Aroura. When Jason came out of his mobile suit and headed to his teams tent,he overheard some one say that the 81st MS Team was totally wiped out. Jason quickly turned around "What! The whole team is gone?" "Yeah they were totally wiped out in the city." "Jesus the whole team.." (Over PA system) "78th MS Team suit up your on picket patrol" Jason:"Fuck...it never ends I guess." When Jason arrived at his MS his team were already in there MS. Jasons GP03 thundered to life and begun to walk out of the base all 4 GM Customs with him..

Maxist forces's massive casualties were growing by the minute. What was left of 4 MS teams merged into the 82nd, then orcistrated a massive flank move, cutting off enemy forces in suburban chicago, and pushing them back. Maxist spacecraft began to fire on the highest parts of the city, and after that was completed, shot at the lakeside part of chicago, flooding it under 4 feet of water.

Space Colony BELT

A mysterious figure sat at the head of the table. "So how did it go?" He said to one of the generals at the table.

"For the regular forces? Not to well, their most powerful weapons were the tanks, I have been agitating for a bigger engine and thicker armor to deflect those 90 mm Auto-Cannons for awhile now, you know. The Android infantry fared somewhat better. Their size making them easy to take out but the ones without missile launchers cannot do anything but superficial damage. And even the missile launchers can be Laser guidance can be jammed, we are going to install powerful ECCM Chips to counter that. The Abominations have performed somewhat better then expected, their disintergration beams, we estimate, one of them took out 2 dozen sqaudrons of those mobile suits before having their legs shot out from under them.. or were nuked. speaking of which, we need to up the armor on those legs. They are too vulnerable."

The figure nodded, "Your changes are approved. We must discuss the matter of the Stellar Convertor however."

A general shook his head, "Ive explained this, that thing is to damned big to fit on any of our surface or air units. We would have to have a ship at least the size of a Titan Chassis. And that is under way."

The figure leaned forward, "What are we to do now, we have committed ourselves. We need to do something."

Another general perked up. "I suggest we begin building our naval fleet, we can have corvettes drop underwater constructor units into the mass rich sections of the ocean, then they can start setting up bases. With which to construct our sub fleet, especially our submergable battleships."

There was general(pun not intended) approvement.

Somewhere over a empty section of the Marianas Trench.

A single corvette zipped in and dropped a single contruction drone and a whole lot of building materials into the water before zipping back out. The drone splashed and sunk to the bottom of the trench, it was built to withstand the highpressure. There it began to set up a mining platform over a mineral rich spot.

The 78th Arrived on the southern tip of Chicago and began to push north in effect to drive all Rebel forces into the 82nd. Buildings came alive with machinegun fire and RPG trails. No real damage was done to the mobile suits as they returned fire destroying the whole buildings killing the rebel occupents. As they puched north enemy fire became more and more increasing to the part that the 78th just started destroying every building they saw.

The 78th Arrived on the southern tip of Chicago and began to push north in effect to drive all Rebel forces into the 82nd. Buildings came alive with machinegun fire and RPG trails. No real damage was done to the mobile suits as they returned fire destroying the whole buildings killing the rebel occupents. As they puched north enemy fire became more and more increasing to the part that the 78th just started destroying every building they saw.

Maxist commanders issued a international warning today to the civilan populations. All Maxist civilians in north america were to head to LA (http://www.planum.net/topics/clip/future%20city3_a.jpg), Seattle (http://www.be-in.com/9/areas/netcast/be-in-8-netcast/Real/gallery/Monroy3FutureCity.jpg), and San Deigo (http://greenweb.hitachi.co.jp/en/sustainable/images/lightcity.jpg). All in Europe were ordered to fall back to Paris (http://davidszondy.com/future/city/Villedufutur1933.gif), Copenhagen (http://artsyfartsy.undef.com:3000/4403.l.jpg), and Liverpool. All in Asia were to fall back to Tokyo, and Makati, Philippines (http://skyscraperpage.com/gallery/data/650/211view2010.jpg). Maxist leaders in Honolulu (http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/imagedump/10611.jpg) franticly paced the capital building, waiting for a report on Chicago. The news had came; the city was gone.. It was a sigh of relief to know that they had been somewhat vicorious.

OOC:2% of Chicago is still a lot of buildings left also rubble provides exelent cover for Rebel Infantry units.

IC: The 7th Field Army Moved north of Aroura to take up positions along the Southern Half of Chigaco to take control of the area and also to flush out Rebel Insurgents. The 78th was ordered to the back of the lines. MS's are to valuable to lose in Street fighting also Infantry units are more suited for this work. At least that's what the brass told Jason. "Thats fine with me my unit could use a day of rest" At the back lines Mechanical Refit station all 5 MS's where getting total refit's done. As Jason sat done he got word that all Civilians were beeing evacuated to the West Coast. "Thank god we don't need any more genocide." As Jason looked at the flashes at the Hoizon "I wonder who's wining this time..."

The captain looked up and down the new pilot's credentials, slowly nodding throughout. "Ezekiel Ironwood, huh? You're the Vice Admiral's son?"

The young recruit nodded. He was very young, a sign of the times considering how many grown men had died with all the use of NBCs as of late. He had blue eyes and brown hair and was wearing the dark uniform of the Maxist forces. "Yes sir. My father is Vice Admiral Ironwood."

The captain nodded and made a small grunt. "Really? Ironwood's a good man, if it weren't for him we would've lost the Battle of Bejing. And you're his son... I expected someone more of his stature. Nevertheless... It says you just came out of the academy, that new three-month course they offer. Tell me, boy, you've ever piloted a mobile suit?"

"Well I've gone through several simulations sir-"

"I asked you if you've ever piloted a mobile suit, lieutenant, answer the question I give you," he replied harshly and watched Ironwood shake his head quickly. "No? A green rookie? And Ironwood's kid? Hmm... Well, we need all the pilots we need. As you may know, I'm Captain Roland Flankner of the Keening. And if you've never been on Earth before, we're in the Des Moines base. We're the last major base on the plains. I'd brush up on your skills, we've had some skirmishes lately and it's almost certain those damn rebels will head west to the coast now that Chicagos gone."

"I don't have anything else to say. You can go around the base and find your room and the suit assigned to you. Keep alert, and do your job so we can usher in a new era a peace and tranquility here in the Earth Sphere. Dismissed."

Ironwood stood, saluted, and then walked out the door. Captain Flankner leaned back. "Ironwood's son? Here? Crazy. We really must be desperate
if we're feilding important kids like him out here in the plaines..."

Maxist pilots were dropping every day, and battles grew more and more weary. "All the new pilots, well trained, but they dont have the the same ideaology as the veterans, who are dieing every day. Some of the the newbies will die, probably most, but they will help change the outcome of the battle." Vice-Admiral Jones spoke to himself. A nuclear powered cruise missile sub was at launch depth.. It had been constructed in one of the bases now spreading across the Pacific. Its 20 Cruise Missile tubes opened up and the nuclear tipped cruise missiles ejected, the warheads were different from regular Fusion nukes, they contained a plasma charger which essentially doubled the yield of the nuclear weapon without dropping efficiency. The warheads would be worth 250 KT WITHOUT the pasma charger, now they were worth 500 KT. In this case 10 cities(Seattle, San Fransisco, LA, San Diego, etc. etc.) were targetted, one weapon would detonate at the middle northern section of the city in the air. The other would detonate would detonate in the middle of the southern section on the ground. The resulting dual shockwaves coming from different directions would increase the damage to the center. The ground detonations would ensure maximum radioactive fallout. The missiles were not only stealthly designed, they also utilised plasma shields which would drop their signature on radar to the size of lincolns eye on the penny.

The single Musai class light cruiser (http://www.robot-japan.com/Gundam-Robot/gundam/z/images/musai.jpg) that had been following an unknown enemy fleet in lower orbit was now joined by 1 Magellen class Battleship (http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/msgundam/magellan.jpg) and 3 Salamis class cruisers (http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/0083/salamis.jpg).

They sent out a open message ,the surrender of the enemy fleet immeditly or face complete destruction. They armed, and awaited a response.

The Heavy Cruiser that was sent to check out found some evidence of ionic trails, which was quickly filled with the showing of a frigate, which quickly fired off 4 Scatter-X Warheads at the Cruiser before darting back out. IC- Several large warheads impacted on the cruiser, knocking out its weapons and electricty. it quickly began to fall into orbit, and the crew attempted to escape, but the ship was a lost cause.
