The Grey Legions are looking for a few good allies. Our nation is military-based in it's entirety, therefore any nation wishing to become allied with us will receive a military delegation consisting of 70 armed troopers, three HumVees, a HCGS, and a Brigadier-General.

I do not feel that the presence of foreign soldiers on my soil would do anything to quash my fears of invasion. In fact, I would say that being host to seventy armed men and their entourage would give me more cause for concern!

Therefore I have to report that after due consideration I have decided not to grant you an embassy in Noddestan and nor will I be sending a delegation to you. I will instead be watching you closely to make sure you and your faceless grey army don't suddenly attack my country in the middle of the night for no apparent reason.

As you may or may not be aware, diplomatic delegations are always accompanied by a security team, ranging from 25-50 soldiers. We are combining the diplomatic and security delegations into one unit, a sort of diplo-security unit. The Brigadier General is your point of contact between our govt and yours. Rest assured, we will not invade from within your nation. The Grey Legions are an older and larger nation than yours, but we could not hope to "invade" you with 70 men. Please reconsider. You may have up to 150 personnel in your embassy in The Grey Legion capitol.

Would The Grey Legions be prepared to sign a non-agression pact with the Armed Republic of Noddestan rather than a complete alliance? Until we have had experience of your manner and attitudes we do not feel an alliance is appropriate and nor is the establishment of embassies.

You may however send a single delegate, who will be protected by our own security forces, and set up an office in Hub City from which to conduct business.

It was a misty morning when Maj. Gen. Alyssa Pense alighted from the ferry and walked down to the jetty. The sea was calm just now, gently lapping at the boardwalk beneath her feet. Her gaze followed the horizon around from the ocean, across a steep hillside and resting on the cityscape that lay in the middle distance, a single skyscraper rising out of it like a rocket to the moon.

"General Pense?"

The Major General looked around and saw a clean cut young man dressed in a dark blue business suit with a star-motif pin on his left breast. He held a beige folder in his hands which he passed to her when she acknowledged who she was.

"I'm Alex Crowley. I have a driver waiting. Follow me, please."

They walked together in silence up the jetty and through an archway out into a brief carpark. Only one car - a sun bleached black saloon of an unrecognisable type - stood on the concrete, a swarthy looking man in a dark jumpsuit stood alongside it. When they approached, he opened the rear door for the pair to climb in and then entered himself, sitting in the driving seat. Crowley seemed to almost ignore him, as if he was beneath him.

They drove up through scrubland to Hub City and the skyscraper.

Major-General Pense was annoyed......highly annoyed. Not only had Noddestan refused her entry in a HCGS, which meant she had to travel in an old tub of a ferry, but she was here alone. She was a very capable woman, as her rank denoted. Twenty-nine years old, and a Maj. General in the Legion Airforce.
As she climbed into a run-down car, chauffered by an ill-smelling man, she had to adjust her battle-pack. Her dual Glock 9mm pistols, her katana, and her survival kit were compact, but in this decrepit vehicle, there wasn't much room.
" So, Mr. Crowley, where are we going, and, if you don't mind, give me a run-down on the pertinent facts about your country."
Crowley stared at her for a few seconds, not entirely disliking what he saw.
Pense was about 5'7'' tall, slim, well-built.......and in shape with a vengeance. Her short, reddish hair went well with her green eyes and full lips.
" Well, Crowley, are you going to stare, or are you going to answer my questions?"
" All of your questions will be answered when we get to Hub City, ma'am. The trip is only about 20 minutes."
" I'm not a 'ma'am', Mr. Crowley. I'm a Major General. Don't forget it."
" Yes, ma'.........er....Major. As you wish."

We would have to know what the corporation's name would be, and what they are producing. While The Grey Legions are an independant nation, we are still part of the Xeraphian Empire, and are subject to their laws regarding foreign investments.
