OOC: If anyone wishes to claim some of the territory I am attacking, it would fit into the backstory of my FT nation perfectly. However, I would instantaneously be at war with you if you don't hand it over, so prepare to defend thyself.

Emperor Victor Ramius X gazed out the window of the battleship built in his distant ancestor's honour, Emperor Victor Ramius I.The Ramius was the newest ship in the Star Empire's fleet, and it would spearhead the return to the Sol system. It would reclaim the lands that the Great Exile twohundred years ago had lost. It would make the Star Empire great again. Emperor Ramius X smiled at the praise his people would give him for restoring Fluffywuffy's homeland. But he hadn't taken the lands back yet, and he didn't know what the rest of the universe might do. Regardless, the Emperor gave the order to jump to the Sol system.

After a few days of travel, the Grand Fleet appeared before Earth. Many nations inhabited the planet, but the Star Empire did not care about them. It cared about its former lands on Earth, and it would reacquire them or be defeated.
The blue ball of Earth was familiar to many of the crewmen and soldiers, but none had ever personally seen it. Many wept tears of joy, but still others wept of sadness. They would, after all, have to descend upon the planet and defeat their long-lost cousins. Misguided or not, they were still related.
The fleet arrayed itself over the former territory of Fluffywuffy, declaring openly to all nations that it had formally annexed that territory, that the rebels on the surface were being dealt with, and that all who interferred would be dealt with.

On the surface, life quickly turned to hell. The massive railguns of the space fleet battered the land, turning once pristine plains into massive craters of death and destruction. Marines landed all across the nation at once, riding the tails of the comet-like railgun shells. Great care was taken to avoid hitting cities with railgun shells, save for those deemed too rebellious to be worth anything. These were flattened from space without a single thought, and no marines were dispatched to them.
The overall strategy in the opening attacks was to establish small footholds with marines, with regular soldiers pouring into the pockets via drop ships. The opening attacks had achieved great success on the rebellious territories, and within hours Imperial City had been taken. Emperor Ramius X personally descended upon Imperial City, where he broadcast to the Star Empire and to the universe.

The noise of combat could still be heard in the background, and occassionaly cement fell from the ceiling of the Imperial Palace. At one point a blast ripped through the walls, showing all who were watching that the Emperor had real balls being there.
"Greetings, ctizens of the Star Empire. I broadcast to you live from Imperial City, our great capitol, in our ancient homeland on Earth. Today our forces have swarmed over our ancient homeland, and we shall reclaim every last inch. No resistors shall be left alive, as punishment for the great suffering the people inflicted upon us in the time of the Great Exile.
I call upon all loyal subjects to return to our homeland, to resettle our lands and purify them. Treat not the usurpers as your brother; they are your mortal enemy, and they shall all be beaten back. We shall initiate our own Great Exile, and these usurpers shall suffer just as greatly as we have.
To the nations of the universe: Let it be known that the Star Empire of Fluffywuffy has annexed all of its former territories, and any and all who hold lands of our homeland must hand them over. Any and all who interfere will meet death or have us meet death. We shall resist untill the last."
