You know what? It takes more than just money to build a battlecruiser. Not every nation has unlimited resources that just happen to encompass every material that is required to build a fleet of tanks. Where do you get those materials?

Weishaupt-Nano-Industries is proud to announce the opening of the Construction and Rare Materials Storefront!

Standard storefront rules apply.

MT MATERIALS

Bucky Tubes

A miracle of modern chemistry, the bucky tube (an advanced form of buckminsterfullerene) is stronger than all known materials, and can be used in the construction of microcircuitry. Simply fill with lead, and what do you kow? You've got superconductive microcircuitry. Take in to consideration that bucky tubes are a necessity in the production of advanced nanotechnology (i.e. the Mu-16 nanovirus) and you can see that bucky tibes are a wise investment. High tolerance of temperature, nigh-on invincible against current and pressure. As said previously, the strongest material known to man. unofrtunately it cannot be made into armour, being almost nano-scale.

Cost:
$1,000,000 per metre.

Bauxite

A necessity in the production of aluminium, bauxite is a very cheap ore.

Cost:
$50 per tonne.

cordite
Useful for arms facturers, cordite is the explosive in most bullets.

Cost:
$1 per Kg

Silicone
Used in IC's, breast implants and those little packets in shoes, silicone is useful.

Cost:
$80 per tonne

Depleted Uranium
Another choice for ammunition manufacturers, depleted uranium ensures a battlefield remains dangerous long after the victor leaves.

Cost:
Negotiable on request.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We do not wish to build any battlecruisers or stealth fighters, but we need asisstance from Ankhmeti Construction Materials on a much smaller scale.

Experience gained from previous wars showed the unreliability of standard M16 magazines, made from aluminium. The magazine lips can be bent easily, causing feeding problems that can cost a soldier his life in combat.

Thus we require a strong, hard and inexpensive polymer from your company that is easy to work with, to be made into magazines. The polymer must also not melt easily as the rifles will generate a lot of heat.

We belive that we may have a product for you. Recent advances in the mass-production of bucky tubes allow us to sell them at $1,000,000 per metre, instead of $1,000,000,000. We can produced a bucky tube latticed aluminium magazine at $15 per magazine, or for a bulk buy $100 for 120. This magazine would be more or less unaffected by heat in the vital areas. It is not within the realm of ACM authority to sell the formula for the polymer.
