I am wondering if anyone wants to do a gundam RP, with gundam tech.

You can play as either the Rebels(Cool gundams) or the maxist forces(all the drones and evil gundam.) If you do want to join, please report which side you wish to be on and select your gundam from the list on this website:

Which Gundam universe?

Pretty much a merger of all of them, except dont use the shitty G gundam ones.

The rp itself will take place on an alternate earth, during the Universal Century, but with other gundam technology.

During the rp, you can build Space colonies (Sides), or create your own Force, make up a name, build bases, and of course, fighting.

I'm guessing SD Gundam is out?

Damn, I really liked that Nu Gundam... Oh well, I guess I could settle for the Z, ZZ or one of those Seed Gundams...Not too sure which...

I'm still debating the cool factors between that energy shield the "Nu" can pull, and that "Phase Armor" of the Seed Gundams. IMO, the "Nu"'s shield was far superior. (In open field combat anyway. Big Funnel shields wouldn't work so well in confined areas obviously.)

I think that I'd go with the "Nu", although that "Z" is still.

No its totally different countries than your own. Wiki has a ton of info, just search mobile suit gundam.

PSS:By custom I mean 50% will be custom and 50% will be ripped off from another TV/Anime/Videogame that you may or may not have heard of.

It has been a while since I had seen or heard info about Deathscythe Hell, so I tried to look it up on Wiki, only to find out it can't display Deathscythe hell due to some copyright thing.

Another question. Are we RPing the time periods? As in, are we Rping the suits' past, and the anime pilots are still piloting them in our RP?

Technical and Historical Notes

When the XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe was captured and destroyed by OZ's forces in AC 195, the extremely durable gundanium-made remains of that mobile suit were taken to OZ's lunar base and mobile suit factory for storage. The five scientists who had built the Gundams plaguing OZ were also at the lunar base, captured and forced to develop new mobile suit technology to secure OZ's rule over Earth and the space colonies. Despite their apparent "cooperation," however, the scientists also began rebuilding the Deathscythe in secret, preparing for the day when captured Gundam pilot Duo Maxwell could return to the battlefield. That opportunity came when the Romefeller Foundation - the political force behind OZ - became split over a number of issues, and the "Treize Faction" of OZ attacked the lunar base, which at the time was still under the control of Romefeller loyalists. During the chaos, Duo managed to escape, taking his rebuilt XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell to continue fighting on his own. At that time, the Deathscythe Hell was only seventy percent complete; later repairs and field upgrades would allow Duo to complete the resurrected mobile suit, bringing it up to its full combat potential.

The new Deathscythe Hell was a considerable improvement over its original form, with a more powerful beam scissors (scythe), increased speed and mobility, improved hyper jammers, and an "active cloak" system which served as both a optical/visual cloaking system (making the Gundam literally invisible to an enemy's naked eye) and as an external layer of beam-deflecting armor. These improvements allowed Duo to continue his fight against both the militaristic OZ and the radical civilian "White Fang" rebels, putting the Gundam Deathscythe Hell on an almost equal footing with White Fang's newest AI-controlled mobile dolls.

THe MS I'll use are the NRX-044 Asshimar for Earth Combat and the RX-110 Gabthley for space. I know I want two but concidering that people are bustin' out Deathsythe and Freedom I think I can use two Zeta-eras. Both can be found in the Zeta Gundam section of MAHQ. On a final note, the first gundam mentioned in this topic wasn't the Nu Gundam 2, it was the Hi-Nu. I'm kinda nitpicky like that.
