Missile Systems
Sayorot Mk. I Air-to-air Missile
As hostile nations are in proximity within Falastinia, the Falastine Air Command anticipates short and swifty-maneuvering Mach air combat, and over time they have become masters of within visual range air combat. Thus the military doctrine of Falastinia requires a missile that is able to keep track on a high-G maneuvering target and with a high hit probability. It has been replaced by the Sayorot Mk. II in the Falastine Air Command.
Features:
- Low-drag structure, thrust vectoring and enlarged tail control fins ensure extreme agility, a top speed of Mach 3.5 and a maximum range of 30 km.
- Cooled infrared seeker with advanced ECCM ensures minimal vulnerability to flares and electronic jamming.
- Lock-on-after-launch capability with helmet mounted displays and an 80 degree off-boresight capability enable the pilot to target and fire the missile without pointing his nose at the target.
- Transverse control engine and advanced navigational algorithms rules out all misses during final trajectory of missile. Ensure a large “no escape zone” and high hit probability, despite agile evasive maneuvers attempting to “outfly” the missile.
- Combat proven: 46 aircraft kills are credited to this missile.
- Low cost and interoperability with systems suited for the AIM-9 sidewinder.
Cost: USD $85,000
Dzulfiqar Anti-Tank Missile
The purchase of the Merkava Mk. 4 tank by hostile nations has posed a serious threat to Falastinia’s military. Thus a missile that can penetrate and defeat one of the most heavily-armored tanks in the world was needed to level the playing field. If the Dzulfiqar can defeat the Merkava Mk. 4, it certainly can defeat almost any other main battle tank in the world.
Features:
- Shaped tandem warhead with depleted uranium core ensures excellent armour penetration.
- “Fire-and-forget” capability
- CCD/IIR dual seeker enables firing in adverse weather and low light conditions.
- Dual-stage rocker motor enable firing from confined spaces and does not give away position of firer.
- Superior aerodynamics ensure pinpoint accuracy.
- Lightweight: 11.5 kg in launch tube
Cost: USD $2,700
Dzulfiqar Command Launch Unit
The missile in its launch tube is attached to the command launch unit, which is used to designate a target to the missile. After firing, the empty launch tube is discarded.
- 4X zoom thermal imaging sight
- 6X zoom optical sight
- Robust and reliable design
Weight: 8.6 kg
Cost: USD $28,000
