ANA balance of judgement, 700kilometers off the coast of Arabanistan.

The fleet had begun its return to Animarnia, however the Judgement had remained to over see humanitarian operations and provide escort and close air support to unarmed aid ships through to the main port and back. However it was currently dead of night and no aid ships would be here till morning as was the usual routine a skeleton crew ran bridge operations while the main crews slept. Everything was normal until suddenly the bridge came alive in warning klaxons and equipment started bleeping as it registered an incoming threat.

"Multiple contacts bearing 45 degree's closing fast…too fast…their missiles!" a relatively inexperienced radar technician said, as most night shift crews were greenhorns out of combat operations.

Before anymore could be said the missiles started slamming into the side of the aircraft carrier, first one hit the bow, the second hit the rear, a third and forth hit amidships causing fireball to sweep through the middle decks incinerating crewmembers as they tried to escape. A fifth and sixth struck the deck directly aviation fuel and aircraft on deck exploded violently, the ship shaking as if struck by an earthquake. Thankfully all hits were above the water line so the carrier was in no danger of sinking but the damage was extensive the carrier would be out of action for sometimes…

Crew members were questioned but no one saw or noticed anything until the hits started coming, a message was sent to the government informing them of there suspicions that stealth aircraft were used in the attack.

--- Animarnia National Bridge ---

The Animarnia State Bridge, was a huge sprawling suspension bridge that went across the Animarnia bay area, it was built to elevate traffic and right now it was rush hour. Cars travelled across the bridge both ways at upwards of 50mph or would if it wasn't for the massive tailback. Some Horns were tooted; others shouted and some just sat in silent patience. A low flying cruise missile struck the centre of the bridge in a fiery explosion the 2000lb war head destroying an entire section of the bridge killing innocent motorists instantly and sending many more plunging to there deaths in the sea below. Panic gripped the civilians as they abandoned their cars and ran fearing more attacks.

"This is Andrea Grey with a ANN News report, today one of our most powerful aircraft carriers was mercilessly attacked while stationed in international waters near Arabanistan, while the ship is in no danger of sinking several hundred sailors lost there lives and even more were injured during the attack. Damage to the carrier was quite extensive and several F/A-18 fighter jets were destroyed military officials are investigating…

In other news, panic gripped southern Animarnia this evening when an explosion occurred on the national bridge causing more than 50 deaths and 150 injuries as well as damage to the bridge itself. Sources have made no comment at this time if this was an accident or some for or terrorist act, stay tuned for more information as it becomes available, now hears Sally with the weather…"

The Black Sun Reclaimation Army gives the Nation of Anarmarnia a formal apology for the destruction of their planes and ships. We had been given faulty information that Green Sun planes and ships were headed to Arabanistan for humanitarian and military rebuilding aid, and we just wanted to piss them off like we usually do. We had no idea that your ships and planes would be in the area and we mistook your equipment for Green Sun's. We hope you find it in your hearts to forgive our organization and to please accept our apologetic gift basket with the finest Green Sun chocolates.

We assure you that there are no bombs in it and that we checked it ourselves for harmful biological agents.

The Secretary of state Edward Benton was almost livid at the response from this Black Sun group, whom he'd not heard of until now, "An accident!" he shouted; "tripping an falling is an accident, you don't accidentally almost sink and aircraft carrier!" he said his palms on the table. He was a fairly young man for a politician, his short black hair and tall stature made him noticed.

"While I agree with you that we cannot let this go, I am unsure of the action that should be taken" spoke the Vice President Rene Shondel she was a blonde woman, her hair was just above her shoulders however it was almost always tied into a bun.

"We should take find these black sun folk and kill every last one of the bastards" spoke General Carvil; "You can't pander to terrorists" he added a second later his anger reflecting Mr Benton.

"I suggest we co-ordinate with the Green Sun Government and intelligence agencies find out more about these Black Sun, though I think she should open a dialog to get what we want without Military action" the Minister of Justice Tegan Harris offered. She was a level-headed woman, with copper brown hair and eyes as green as jade.

However that said, we must ask that those whom committed the attack on our ship be handed over to the Justice Ministry immediately for trial and all there possessions Sold or liquidated into US Dollars. Look, I have my own problems with them, I was just kidnapped by them. But if they're saying it was an accident, it was an accident, they're true to their word. We were planning to ambush them in Arabanistani waters by giving them false information, but they arrived too soon and presumed the Aircraft carrier was ours. They're no real threat to you and they're only based in Green Sun, although they have outfits in just about every nation to be ready to piss us off. But if you want to find out if there's a base in your nation, I can give you all non-top-secret documents on them and some confidential ones, enclosed with this message. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm very busy.

The attatchment has all the history they could get on Black Sun, which was basicly an alternate Green Sun that conquered their known universe and tried to take over ours, but civil war sliced their attacking force and their leader was forced to flee and run a terrorist organization sharing the name of his Empire. There was a long list of their attacks, bug and small, and mostly uninteresting. It had a list of their tactics, an estimate of how much money they had (Several million dollars), an estimate of their military power (Enough to fight a small modernized nation), estimated numbers (About 1.5 million worldwide, 1 million in Consortium of Shadows alone), and some secret plans on how to get rid of them.

We understand your position and how valuable each and every man is to your effort and we have no intention of Aiding either sides in your civil conflict, however you must also understand ours. We believe he attack on our carrier was a tragic accident however the families of Animarnia Sailors killed in the attack also deserve justice of some kind. Surely you would seek the same if our roles were revered? All we are asking for is the one who gave the order to fire, and those that Did fired, surely a small price to pay to appease a nation that was never your enemy?

Let us not forget that if your faction is ever successful in overthrowing the Green Sun Government you will need international support, show yourselves to be the people you claim to be by handing over those responsible for the attack to us.

"As you can see, the Populous seems divided on the issue, it will be several days before the Balance of Judgement returns to port, where she will undergo repairs for the next month. In other news, the explosion on the National Bridge yesterday, was according to an official statement a Car bomb attack and is completely unrelated to the Attack on the Judgement. However home movie footage shot by a bystander moments before the explosion shows differently, just what is going on?"

a busy street, people go about there business in blissful ignorance when suddenly a shop front explodes violently, followed by another, then a third, smoke and fire fill the street and shower glass and broken metal everywhere like shrapnel, cars are thrown on there sides by the blast as men women and children loose there lives indiscriminately in the heinous attack by unknown perpetrators…

Downtown Animarnia
Dozens of armed, mysterious soldiers rushed around the street, shouting in Arabaic, Russian, and English. Teh street is closed off my teh soldiers. Civilian onlookers ask what is going on, and teh soldiers merely reply that tehre's been a bombing.

We have reason to believe that the Socialist Front, our backup military service in case of governmental collapse, has attacked the Animarnian Black Sun headquarters. They have done this without my knowlege or approval and Green Sun will punish those who are responsible, but this information is not completely reliable and the attack may have been another perpetrator, but we know for sure that Black Sun is the target. We musn't leave out the possibility Black Sun bombed its own building as a set-up, but they make sure that minimal civilian casualties will be taken. The Forge Force, our Counter-Terrorism group, is ready for deployment on a moment's notice.

General Homer is busy at the moment and Emperor Jordan is fixing a mess at the Palace office, so I am the only Head Official available at this time.

The Red phone rang, "Hello" said the president down the line; "What? A bombing?!…" The president slammed the phone down and rushed to the official office where Mr Fisher was waiting for him "Sir, we have no idea what's going on, shop fronts started exploding and there are reports of foreign soldiers on the ground. And I received a message from a Sultan Shaku Sha'amamee" he said in a gruff voice as he handed the president a piece of paper; "its your job to know what going on Sam, that’s what your paid form isn't it?

"I'm sorry Mr President", Sam offered, it was all he could do.

"Lets get some of our people on the ground down there, and send a message to the Green sun government, find out why they were conducting operations on our soil"

"What's going on Sir?" asked a grunt as he checked over his SC-2000k Rifle several other grunts started running to Black Hawk Helicopters and Chinooks.

"We're being deployed to Kosei, there has been an attack, three bombings"

Over a 150 highly trained men boarded the helicopters as the engines started to whine and rotors spin the fully loaded choppers took off and started to head for downtown Kosei, Gendo where they would be deployed to deal with the threat there.

I did not say they were there working, I said they were ready to deploy. We can have a team there within twenty-four hours. If we were working militarily behind your back in your own nation, we would have a lot more influence on your nation. It's unusual that Black Sun would be so responsive in this situation, actually. Our spies within their organization tell us that they are on full alert. We won't deploy the Forge Force unless you let us. The Black Sun presence in your nation cannot be large, as you are unimportant to them. They have a mere outpost there. One team of ours can take care of them without killing most of the terrorists. Green Sun is on your side. Now that Black Sun has probably been bombed, they probably are, too.

Forgive my mistake, Sultan, I took "We have reason to believe that the Socialist Front, our backup military service in case of governmental collapse, has attacked the Animarnian Black Sun headquarters." As meaning a military force under Green sun command was operating and responsible for the bombings. We Greatly appreciate your assistance and your Forge force transports will be granted clearance through our air space to Kosei where they can Rendezvous with our own Special forces team just outside the city, then we can conduct a joint strike against the perpetrators of his attack.

The Two Chinooks and three black hawks flew through the air with grace, slowing to a hover as they reached the Landing Zone; "LZ is clear sirs," said the pilot as the choppers descended. Special forces immediately disembarked from the helicopters and several men rushed outwards onto the green grass that waved in the wind.

"Alright men, two by two, I want a defence perimeter set up, with OP's and snipers, I don't want a fly getting in here without alerting someone" yelled the commanding officer, an aged combat vet. His hair grey and with half a cigar in his mouth, the name tag on his vest read "Havoc"

"Those Green Sun guys will be here in 24 hours, let's set up shop for when they get here" Havoc yelled. As men moved equipment and tents off the Chinooks and began to set up base camp…

Yesterday at 4:00 AM an Animarnian Carrier was attacked by a Black Sun cruise missile off of teh coat of Arabanistan, which was mistaken for a gReen Sun vessel. Black Sun has released a formal apology and compensation for the casualties and damages. Black Sun activity has flared within the last day because of this an otehr unknown reasons.

Earlier today in Animarnia, a Black Sun outpost was bombed by unknown force. Green Sun and Animarnia have agreed to let the Forge Force drop in and secure the situation. Green Sun and Black Sun will be working together for the second time in history since Black Sun became active. The perpetrators have yet to be identified, but the same Black Sun General that bombed the Carrier has assured Green Sun and Animarnia that they will identify and destroy them.

In related news, support for the organization has skyrocketed since the attack on the Carrier. Sympathy for their organization has grown because they, too, are being attacked and some Green Sun citizens feel that Black Sun just needs a home.

"They're so much similar to us-I mean, they ARE the alternate us from another dimension! We can only imagine what they can offer Green Sun if we allow them to be integrated into our nation! It's the least we can do for ourselves! Yeah, we might become more aggressive with our Government, but haven't we always kept our distance from conflicts we should get more deeply involved with? I find it hard to sleep at night knowing that a nation like Arabanistan has nuclear weapons!" one Green Hills woman said, carrying her third child.

Opposition to the organization amongst some, however, has grown even more.
"If Black Sun really wanted a new home, they shouldn't have INVADED us in the first place! Come on, they ruled three galaxies and were invading us through a dimensional portal! Don't you think they had ENOUGH power? What if a loon like Emperor Banaan takes over the Council of Theocrats, huh? Yeah, time has passed, but tehir motives are still the same! Take over the government and build their empire! We should just wipe out the Terrorists in Animarnia. All of 'em, I don't care how much information they have!" one Green Mines miner told GSCNN reporters.

General Homer intends to work with the Black Sun terrorists until we can see if the ones who bombed them are enemies or misguided friends.
"Right now we have no reason to attack Black Sun. This threat to Black Sun could be a threat to everyone. The Forge Force is going to find out everything Black Sun knows and then we're going to find out who, why, and how they did it."

We're getting reports that fighting has broken out in downtown Animarnia amongst the identified Black Sun soldiers and unknwon terrorists. The Forge Force has been hurried and will be there twelve hours ahead of schedule.

Downtown Animarnia
They came out of nowhere. They bore M16s and AK-47s. Good weapons, but no match for the GS-793 Exchangeable Rifle. But the problem is was the fact many of them had body armor and Black Sun HQ didn't think the Animarnian outpost was that important The Black Sun soldiers started getting picked off. For every three Black Sun killed, two of theirs was gunned. Reinforcements had to arrive soon, or all the information Black Sun might have would die with them.

--- Camp Bravo, Outside Kosei ---

The camp was alive with activity, soldiers going about their business checking over equipment when a man rushed into a command tent in full battle gear "Sir, advance scouts report fire fights in the city" he said simply no further explanation was required.

"How long till Forge force gets here?" Havoc asked one of the men sitting at a communications terminal; "Twelve hours sir"

"Tell them to advance on the city but we may have friendly and civvies in the kill zone but we can't wait and tell them re-enforcement's are on the way" Havoc ordered and the soldier departed.

"Get on the horn to Green Sun, tell them to put the troops down in the damn city if they have to, MOVE OUT" he yelled as elements began moving out some moving on foot others in Hum-Vee's and All Terrain Buggies. The ripping engine roared as they rushed ahead of the main force to back up the two squads that had already been told to move in and eliminate the threat.

--- Kosei --

Gunfire erupted what appeared to be no where first single shots as snipers began to pick off lone enemies then full automatic fire as soldiers armed with SC-2000K Rifles moved from street corner to street corner clearing out foreign soldiers in full body armour. There were only 2 quads totalling 20 men but they were all highly trained and weren't taking any chances so far the "invaders" had offered little opposition. Soon they reached the main downtown area where a firefight was in the midst soldiers; the Special Forces weren't sure whom was firing from the buildings. They could be citizens trying to defend themselves from the enemy soldiers this was assumed for now to be the case as the Special forces opened fire down the street…

A B-52 Cargo-Bomber flew overhead as several men jumped out. When they were close enough, they began to pick off targets one by one. They land on top of a building and detatch their parachutes and head into the building. After an hour of firefighting, all twelve of the twenty men that dropped came out. These twelve men begin to pick off targets on the street with extreme accuracy. The half dozen Black Soldiers retreated into an ajacent building to take cover.

Havoc's main force arrived and began opening fire on the foreign soldiers with vehicle mounted 50 Calibre machine guns while foot soldiers began firing with SC-2000k In the time it took for them to arrive the two squads they sent as a vanguard had lost five men. However had helped force the Invaders into an adjacent building with support from the Forge force that looked like they had finally arrived. The invaders were currently hold up and exchanging heavy fire with Animarnia Special forces, which were currently pinned down.

"Take out the front of the building with a co-ordinated rocket strike, use the confusion to advance on the building" Havoc yelled over the sound of gunfire.

The Green Sun soldiers continue to fire oon the terrorists and secured the building with the Black Sun soldiers in it, snipers now firing from windows onto the enemy soldiers. Interrogations began immediately.
"Okay, so who bombed the Black Sun outpost here? Who exactly are we fighting?"
"The same people who tried to kill the Risbanian emperor. They're connected with them."
"Are your sure?"
"Positive."
The Forge Force sodlier called in on his radio.
"This is Alpha Team, we have four wounded and we've discovered the perpetrators. They're the same guys who tried to kill WScorpius. Contact Ani,marnia and tell them."
"Roger that, Alpha Team. Further interrogate the Black Sun terrorists then publicly execute them so hostiles will disengage."
The Alpha Leader turned to the Black Sun terrorist.
"Anything else?"
"We don't know their name. We know they aren't the same guys, just a bunch of people who are following their example. Wannabes."
"With AKs and M16s?"
"Montegue."
The soldier knew what he meant. He dragged him outside and lifted the man up so he would get hit by enemy bullets and reported in. The messages were passed onto Animarnia. Montegue wan't included in the transmissions.

Havoc's forces continued to exchange fire with the terrorists hold up when two men armed with 4 cell man packed portable rocket launchers got into position one on each side of the battle zone, the two rockets from separate directions slammed into the building front. A fireball erupted outward scattering debris everywhere taking out the entire ground floor of the building. Another round of rockets followed this time slamming into the second and third floors separately and retaliation fire ceased.

Debris was still showing the street below when 30 of Havoc's men rushed forward into the building. "SECURE AND OCCUPY" he yelled over the radio. "Get someone in that building over there" he said pointing to the building that other defensive gunfire had been coming from a moments earlier when they arrived and that havoc suspected was the Black Sun HQ.

"Sir Message from Green Sun, the guys are the same people who tried to kill the Risbanian emperor" said the radio operator.

" Risbanian emperor?" he said taking a puff on his cigar as gunfire started again this time from inside the building where the forces were in a firefight with terrorists…

As the Black Sun terrorists were publicly displayed as dead, the enemy soldiers began to lessen. One by one the fanatics left or were shot by Forge Force or Animarnian forces. They had won this battle.

---Kosei, Gendo --

Havoc walked through the halls of the former Black Sun outpost, confidence erupting from him like an Aura, the cigar in his mouth flared red as he took a puff on it his spiked grey hair and chiselled chin gave him a mean appearance. Havoc was like every heroic combat veteran you could ever meet rolled into one and then some, a career soldier from a military family fighting was in his blood. His ancestors had fought in the Guylos war, his grandparents in the Civil War, his father had led the security forces in the worst riots in Animarnia history, and Havoc himself was no stranger to combat. Needless to say, he wasn't someone you should piss off.

"What's going on in here" he yelled carrying a heavy weapon, flanked by two other soldiers in full body armour carrying SC-2000k rifles; "Who's in charge, where the black sun survivors?" he said approaching the men dressed in black.

"This is Andrea Grey, reporting live from Kosei, earlier today explosions rocked the downtown area killing 59 civilians, survivors report exchanges of gunfire between Animarnia special forces and foreign terrorists it is unknown a this time the number of casualties on both sides. However firefights have ceased and Animarnia soldiers have the situation well in hand…wait…the president is making a speech."

[Cut to speech, two Animarnia flag are crossed behind the president as stands behind the podium waiting for the hushed whispers to cease before speaking]

"My Fellow Animarnians, I stand here today before not as your leader but as a citizen of our great nation, over recent days our forces and our citizens have been indiscriminately attacked without compunction, without mercy and perhaps worst of all without reason. With the recent attacks on the Judgement, the National Bridge and now the bombings in Kosei. In order to protect the interests of Animarnia I am officially declaring marital law and a curfew will be put into effect as of 9pm this evening, military forces are mobilising and will be stationed in every major city of our great nation. This is a temporary measure to ensure the national security of Animarnia"

[Cut back to shocked Andrea]

"Well there you have it folks, the president has declared martial law and…this just in true to his word we've got reports of troops and vehicles beginning to mobilise from every major military base in Animarnia… Is Animarnia heading towards a police state? You tell me and now sally with the weather…"

"I am. Corpreal Adrian Shepard, Green Sun Forge Force. We've got only one Black Sun survivor, we had to kill the others to scare off the other terrorists. We'l hand him over to you if you'd like, our job in this fight's done. We'll stick around looking into these other terrorists that attacked Black Sun, but then we'll be done unless we track down more Black Sun assets here, which I doubt."
